Eggcellent soufflés pancake

Don’t waste your dessert capacity on this place. Soufflé pancakes are overpriced, not fluffy and not flavorful enough ($16!!)

I have been here at least 3 or 4 times. Every time I visit Flushing m, I would always come here for their waffles. They are by far the best I have eaten. I would jo doubt give them a 5 stars. However, my most recent visit got me a bit disappointed. Their original egg waffles aren’t as crunchy as before with a bit soggy or the chewy texture in the middle. I felt like they slightly downgraded their quality this time. On top of that, i ordered their egg puffs, which I pretty much regret that. None of my family members like it. I got egg tart, chocolate, matcha, and bubble cream. Maybe this one just isn’t my taste. Hopefully next time they can get back to their original quality on their egg waffles.

Eggcellent! This is my favorite desserts shops!! We taste a little bit of everything.. The cream brûlée pancake soufflé my number 1 but waffles also unbelievable good It’s wait time 30 min for the pancake,prepare for that, but worth it . If we knew it was that delicious, we would’ve ordered at least 3 more!

Place is in back of a mini mall. Wait time for pancakes was about 30 minutes. Seating is very limited. $12 for two pancakes. They weren’t bad! Especially since there aren’t that many pancake places they do these. I think they’re worth a try once or twice! I do wish that syrup came with the original though.

I only tried the original maple flavor fluffy pancake so far. I want to go back to try other flavors but I wanted to start with original. It was not what I was expecting. But it wasn’t bad. Just not the amazingly yummy pancake dessert item I was expecting. I was expecting maple syrup to pour on top of it. She told me maple syrup was inside the pancake. I believe her but it kinda disappointed me a little bit. It was not bad though. The tiny little food court where it’s located has almost no seating. Like 3 tables total. And there are multiple other places inside so hopefully u can get a table when u visit.

Came in with friends, there was no wait to order. Once we ordered we were told the wait was 35mins. So we left to get bubble tea, we got back at the perfect time. I got the crème brûlée soufflé pancake, and my boyfriend got the tiramisu soufflé. Our friend got the same. There is only 2 tables here so you might not be able to sit. We luckily were able to get a table. The pancakes are HUGE, they were so fluffy and the crème brûlée cream that is drizzled on top is the star of the show. I liked my boyfriends flavor but mine was better in my opinion. We were stuffed after eating. My friends did not finish theirs (particularly due to their bubble tea).

The souffle pancakes looks great in picture and in person. Texture of the pancakes is unique, its light, soft and fluffy. However it does not have much flavor therefore most of the flavor comes from the toppings. They also sell egg waffles. The original eggies are sweet enough without condiments. Biodegradable forks and spoons!!! Located in the back of the small food area. Additional seats are upstairs. Bathroom on the left of the store, need a key to open.

So glad I saw this place online because it's so hidden, I wouldn't have found it otherwise. Ordered the smile egg puffs with egg tart filling. Warm, gooey, and pudding-like. Honestly, one of my favorite egg tart products I've tried in a while. This is made fresh-to-order, so I did have to wait a bit. Definitely worth it though. Each egg is $3. I wish it were cheaper and/or larger, but it's a cute food. Buy 5, get 1 free.

After a failed attempt one evening when I stopped by and they had run out of most things, I returned on a weekend afternoon and was successful. They happened to be running a BOGO free deal for their 5-year anniversary, so I went with the original soufflé pancake and purple yam egg bubble waffle. 5 stars for the bubble waffle alone - one of the best I've ever had. Filling was amazing and the texture was perfect. As for the pancakes, they took a super long time to make, so keep that in mind if you're in a hurry. The flavor was good, but I like my soufflé pancakes a little less eggy... then again, they were as advertised!

It's been a while since I've been here and now the menu is even more extensive. The place is small and around many stores the menu is straight to the point. I got the crème brûlée succulent pancakes and they were soft good I do prefer the maple cream one. I also got a triple chocolate banana bubble waffle that was rich and tasty, crunchy and perfect sweetness. I love that the bubbles are literally bite size every bite was perfect. Lastly I got a plain bubble waffle with maple cream and mixed berries it was absolutely amazing !!!! I mean I could literally have this dessert all the time it was my favorite. The service was great the woman helping was nice and she even gave us suggestions.

These egg pancakes were warm, fluffy, and filled with the perfect amount of filling. One of the egg pancakes wasn't as fresh and warm as the others. The pancakes do take time to be made, but it's worth the wait for a fresh egg pancake. There's conveniently some seating in front of this shop, and there's not too many people who sit there.

I like this dessert place. I went last year & havent been since but will try to go back soon. They just started selling the eggs but I didn't purchase that I purchased the pancakes. The ladies said I should've eaten it within 20 min & I didn't. That's probably y I rated it 4. I'll go back & let you know how it is when I eat it right away. It's really small you can't really eat in there unless u stand. It's a location with other stores inside. I had the creme brûlée & my friend had the chocolate. Next time I'll try the brown sugar boba pancakes.

A small store that sells HongKongese style bubble waffle and pancakes. Haven't tried their pancackes yet but their bubble waffle were so good! You can smell the freshness while they make them, they currently have a BOGO promotion going on. The "mall" itself is small and has a few seatings area available.

Ate here today for a sweet tooth with my mom. I had brought and ate the triple chocolate egg bubble waffle. It was extremely good and delicious. The service there was also attentive that I didn't feel rushed about what to choose something to try for the first time. I couldn't agree more. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)

3.5 The line and wait can get pretty long on the weekend since it takes some time to make. I had the original maple syrup souffle pancake and the banana chocolate souffle pancake. I wanted the original egg waffle, but they misunderstood me during ordering. Oh, well. Next time. We waited about half an hour for ours. The wait can be between 15-30 minutes and seating in the mini mall is very limited, so we took ours to go. The souffles were good but I don't think it's worth the price. The souffle is very soft and has a plain cake taste. It definitely needs the flavor and sweetness from the cream. I liked the original maple syrup one and wasn't a fan of the banana. The maple syrup cream on the original was very good. I didn't like the chocolate flavored cream of the banana one. I would come again to try their egg waffles.

Came here to try the tiramisu pancake. It was sweet and soft. The creams make the flavour more delicious. The pancake is a little different from the menu design. There are 2 seats to enjoy. Sometimes, there would be many people. People can write notes on a sticky note and paste onto the wall, to review how good the dessert is.

4 Stars here on Yelp and I'm not entirely sure if it's quite that but no shade. Small booth inside the address, they offer several kinds of the egg pancake balls, and their take on a taiyaki via an egg shaped snack that's battered and cooked with various fillings inside. They are a small shop and appear to have 1 machine, so it does take some time for an order to be made. In our case, 2 different types of balls took about 15 minutes. These are essentially pancake batter cooked on the waffle maker. Crispy outside, soft pancakey insides. I remember these first making a wave in the US via Boston's Chinatown back in the late 90s, early 2000s. Flushing doesn't have very many spots for these snacks which is probably the reason for its popularity and ratings. Nothing bad for what it is. But it is what it is. Nothing amazing or crazy innovative. Just some good little snacks if this is your sort of thing.

I got the original and creme brulee. It was so good. Really light and fluffy. The three of us finished it within 5 minutes. Next time I come I'll try the milk tea one and coffee one.

Ordered the smile egg puff (one with egg tart flavor and another with matcha flavor). $3 each. They both came together in a 2 spot mini egg carton and each egg puff was stamped with a little faces. Pretty adorable. Minimum card order is $10. Smile Egg Tart with egg tart flavor ($3): This is a 4.5/5 to me. The egg tart filling was made with a fresh and egg filling that was both fluffy and sweet. Very good. Smile Egg Tart with matcha flavor ($3): This is a 2/5 to me. When I bit into it, there was a lot of empty space. This was much different from the egg tart flavor which was filled as expected. I asked the staff there. They mentioned that it's cause the matcha flavoring is just a liquid. I think this makes sense since the egg tart filling was more solid. I'd recommend just ordering the egg tart flavor instead of the matcha flavor

This place was really cute and the wait time was really long though takes about 30-45 mins for the pancakes and the eggs to be made, also maybe bc there's only two workers in the back and it takes a lot of effort to make it look this good so I give them an A for effort.

Waffles were nothing extraordinary, but super cute for photo ops! They also took awhile to come out after ordering (~20 min) even though there was no one there, but we could see them making it from scratch and I think they did taste better because it came straight off the waffle maker. They have six flavored, asian inspired, and each was pretty yummy. Some of the waffles seemed a little undercooked though, but that may have been intentional, I'm not sure...

$11.98 for a strawberry and blueberry pancake after tax. We came on a weekday. No seating, but no line on a weekday afternoon either. The cream wasn't like whipped cream; it tasted sour like greek yogurt but I liked it. The fluffy pancake was like castella and while it did have an eggy taste, it wasn't as much as I'd expected. I wish they had an ice cream option for the pancake, but if the ice cream place across the aisle had been open, I would've gotten a scoop from there instead.

Excellent souffle pancakes made fresh!! Place your order and come back in 15-20mins (sometimes faster) but these babies are worth the wait. I would advise against takeaway option as they just won't be as fresh when you get home. Something about the souffle part is very very real. These are always light and fluffy and the perfect sweetness. Go here when you're feeling down and need a pick me up! The have a small table and seating for you meditate while you wait. When ready, dig in! I promise these will be gone faster than the time it took them to make it!

I ordered some egg waffles for my mom, she used to love the lil egg cakes from the OG Chinatown cart decades ago. These are pretty pricey in comparison .. but what isn't expensive nowadays $4.50 for the original and $6 for the triple chocolate. I'm not a fan of soufflés of any kind even from fancy restaurants that cost $25+ so I didn't bother trying their egg soufflé pancake. They really never taste as good as they make out to be..but these egg waffles were good, especially if you don't like really sweet desserts..The chocolate one was not too sweet. Better quality than I expected. Too bad we ate them a hr later. Would've been a lot better warm and crispy. My mom loved the reg. egg waffles, a lot more than the croffles I got her.. I would definitely come back and try them one more time for myself.

I love that they have evolved to making a variety of different flavors to attract people who haven't had them before. We got the strawberry blueberry yogurt soufflé and it was so good. It was very light, soft, and fluffy. Almost like eating a cloud. Very delicious! The only thing the wait is very long but we ended up going next door to get food while we wait.

Walk past YiFang, Chinatown Ice Cream Factory and Legend Chicken to get to Eggcellent Souffle Pancake! I got there when there was no one waiting so I was quoted a 15 min wait time for the Original. I took mine to go and it held up well! I was worried the whipped cream would melt but it didn't! The pancake was soft and tasted better than your average pancake ($10) and definitely tastes way better together with the whipped cream. I liked how the pancake was soft and also a bit creamy in the middle. A great spot in this hallway of snack spots!

Extremely disappointed about my experience here. This is located in a (non busy) shopping hall in flushing. The photos of their soufflé looked good and the good reviews made it seem like it would be a good decision. Since being in the area I decided to try the soufflés from here. I get there and there was no other persons ordering, I think there might have been 2 online orders. I put in my order, the crime brûlée soufflé and a purple yam egg dessert. The lady told me it'll be 10 mins. I was ok with the wait because I was assuming it would be made fresh. My soufflé was NOT fresh. I'm not sure how long it has been sitting out but there are signs that say soufflés should be eaten 30 mins after being made due to dairy products. I was a bit skeptical about it too bc I saw that the lady working was trying to grab something to warm up... that's when I saw a lot of premade soufflés sitting above the cookers. I turn around to talk to my husband and she might have slipped an old one to put in the microwave. What's messed up is she made brand new ones to make it look like it was going to be the ones I ordered. But I realized she was just making new soufflés to replace the old ones she was giving to me. But when she handed me mine, the new ones she put on the cooker was still cooking because the lid was still on... The bubble egg dessert was fresh but no flavor to it. The ones made from the street vendors were better in my opinion. Maybe when it's slow they pre make and just warm up their stuff, this is not how to run a business. It's not honest or a good way to run it. Take your money somewhere that will value it and make your food fresh.

Small shop located in the back. Egg waffle was okay. It was 6$ for original which is pricey. Wait was ten mins without anyone there. It's not a product i would wait ten mins for or pay 6$ again. I rather get some ice cream from ice cream factory for around the same price point + better product - the wait. 10$ min for credit card.

Came to Eggcellent to grab their HK egg waffles (will do the souffle pancake on another day). Located in the back of a small food court, this place's claim to fame is the pancake but their egg waffles are no slouch. The egg waffles here are pretty good and have a nice array of new school flavors - green tea, green tea chocolate, banana, pork floss (for those that like savory). The green tea and green tea chocolate were really good - crispy and full of matcha flavor. The banana was nice but it was a bit soggy due to the banana. Original was also solid. The waffles here are pretty good but my only gripe is that it takes A LONG TIME for you to get your waffles. They use electric waffle irons and it probably takes about 5 minutes per waffle (and they can only make 2 at a time). The old ladies on Canal Street used to make them over gas flames which was super fast (call me spoiled). They also have a disclaimer about the pancakes which states that you need to wait at least 15-20 minutes for them from the time of order. Overall it's a great addition to Flushing but you'll just need to be patient. Thumbs up.

Wait was so long even though there were no other customers. There was a bogo promotion going on. Waffles were burnt dry and overcooked. The matcha one tasted bitter.

I ordered two diff pancakes, one was the matcha ice cream with red beans the other was the regular one with whip cream. The matcha ice cream melts in like a minute. It gets messy to eat. Regardless, both pancakes were amazing in texture. After finishing, it doesn't feel like it's enough. Feeling like an addict. This takes 30 mins to make so always order ahead of time. I order ahead on an app so when I get there, it's almost ready.

So fluffy! Delicious eggy fast casual pancakes. Vibe: 4/5. Located in the back of a hallway filled with food vendors. The entire kitchen is open so you can watch them create your food. No tables, only a communal bench to sit and eat along side other patrons. Service: 4/5. A woman was solely operating the stand when we went at noon on a Saturday. We were the first order of the day, so she had to start the first batch of dough. Because of this, our wait time was approximately 20 minutes (we were informed of prior to ordering). Service was prompt to take our order and started on our pancakes right away. Food: 5/5. Unlike any pancake I have had before. I ordered the original plain souffle pancakes which includes a dollop of fresh whip cream. Pancakes were extremely light and fluffy in texture, easily breaking apart with your tongue. The taste was very eggy and lightly sweet, playing nicely into the sweet/savory sensation. The whipped cream was the perfect addition to each bite to add a little extra creaminess to the eggy pancake. Perfect treat for someone wanting a light, savory dessert.

I went to Flushing to have lunch with my friends. Then I thought of having some sweets. While browsing, I found this place and decided to try it out. There are so many flavors. I chose Ube flavor and it is so delicious. Will definitely come back for the other flavors.

Buying egg waffles are like buying happiness. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. This one was perfection, and I was lucky that no one else was waiting. Can't wait to come back again.

Ordered 5 egg waffles and it took a bit to get our order since there was only one person making them. The purple yam waffles were a great flavor and had chunks of yam between each bite. The green tea waffles were a very strong matcha flavor, which I appreciate. It was a tie between the two flavors, as both of them were tasty.

Pancakes were soft and expertly made but definitely not worth the Instagram generated hype. I got the limited boba version, which was super light and airy and had a very nice milk tea infused cream. Nice to try once for the jiggle but probably won't get again!

I wish I could get some fluffy souffle pancakes now :( my sister recommended trying this place out after hearing about it and I'm so glad I got to try it before everything was closed down. They make the cakes fresh when you order it so do expect a good 15-20 minute wait time here. They actually burned our first batch so we had to wait twice the amount of time, but it was still so worth it. The cake wasn't too sweet and it was really light, perfect texture and one of my favorite desserts in flushing! This will probably be one of the first things I get when covid is over. There's also a good taiwanese style fried chicken place right by (Legend Chicken), their chicken leg cutlet is sooo good! I'd recommend getting that too while you wait for the cake here. You can also get some ice cream or bubble tea since they're much faster.

Bubble waffles FTW! the original is my favorite so far. The chocolate is second. They make it fresh so give them a few minutes to cook it up in the waffle iron. You can see them make it through the window which is awesome and the smell is so Devine . Favorite egg waffle location in flushing so far.

Souffle pancakes are delicious and fluffy! We got the one with boba and the cream tasted like milk tea. There's currently no seating but we stood off to the side to enjoy it as fresh as possible. Entrance wise, make sure to go all the way in. This shop shares the space with Yi Fang and two other shops. If you're in the area, I recommend trying it out! There's also egg waffles available.

If you have never had souffle pancakes before, it's a must try!!!!! Kinda "stumbled" upon this place pretty late in the evening looking for some good dessert. Super glad my other half found and suggested we give Eggcellent a try. Located inside a small food court type. We were so surprised to see so many other little eateries when trying to look for Eggcellent. The whole place looks tiny and tightly packed for so many food stalls to be together, but luckily, they do have more seatings upstair (which we didn't check out since we were able to find some seats right in front of Eggcellent). I love love the fact that their souffle pancakes are prepared and made fresh when order. They whip up each batter as you order them. Each batter is good for about 6 pancakes if I remember correctly. It's not overly sweet at all even with all the toppings. The light, fluffy texture, and perfectly mixed batter are addicting! The price might seem a bit expensive, but each order comes with 2 pancakes that fully loaded with toppings, it's super duper worth it! I continue to crave and dream of these pancakes months later. Been tempted to make my own but haven't gotten a chance yet. Might just wait to make another food trip back to NYC to come here again and my beloved X'ian Famous food!

This was my first time having it and would definitely go back. You should call or order on the app ahead of time because it takes at least 30 minutes to make. I ordered: 1. Tiramisu pancake 2. Creme brûlée pancake Both are delicious, but tiramisu was my favorite. It is humongous and can share it.

On the hunt for some instagram worthy desserts, my family and I found Eggcellent Souffle Pancake. Its a food stall hidden inside a mini food court in flushing. We dropped in on light day, where we were the only ones there. We looked over the menu and ordered: Matcha Souffle Pancake Egg Bubble Waffle Strawberry Blueberry Yogurt Souffle Pancake Each item is cooked to order, and they let you know its going to be a 15 minute wait. I am happy to say that was worth the wait. The end results were definitely instagram worthy. The Strawberry Blueberry Yogurt Souffle Pancake was topped with fresh berries that provided a tangy acidic contrast to the creamy yogurt. The Souffle on the other hand has that dairy and eggy flavor that Lactose intolerant people like myself are so wary of. The whole Pancake was pretty enough that I took a few bites at the risk of a rapid journey to the restroom. The Matcha Souffle had some matcha and vanilla ice cream on top. This was way to much dairy for me, but my kids liked the ice cream. TLDR: Come to Eggcellent Souffle Pancake to get some instagram worthy foodie pics, however, if you are lactose intolerant, you might have to just settle for eating with your eyes.

The purple yam waffle was really good but I didn't care for the soufflé pancake too much. It came with 2 pancakes and one of them wasn't cooked in the middle. The cakes tasted more like one of those soft sponge cakes from the Chinese bakeries. Nothing special but the whipped cream was really good. It was thick and tasted like whipped maple

Eggcellent Souffle pancake is located inside a strip of other shops. Be mindful this is a very congested and busy area therefore parking is hard to find. I was absolutely not thrilled with this place at all. Definitely expected better but it's worth trying it once to check it off the list. The shop is located all the way in the back next to lobster roll. There's limited seating on the 1st floor but plenty of seating on the second floor (plenty of outlets to charge your phone as well). Ordered chocolate caramel banana pancake and strawberry blueberry yogurt pancake. Placing an order is hassle free and it takes about 20-30 mins for them to prepare it for you. The cost for 2 pancakes per order was $10.34 that's actually pricey. I was really disappointed as I expected at least 3 pancakes and flavor was ok nothing exceptional. Not a dessert place I'll regularly visit or even crave it!!

My friend and I stopped by here around 5:30PM on a Wednesday night and it was not too busy. We came in originally wanting to try just the Strawberry Blueberry Yogurt Souffle ($9.50) but the Green Tea Egg Bubble Waffle ($6.00) caught our eyes, so we had to order that too! The Green Tea Egg Bubble Waffle was made quicker than the Souffle, in which the Souffle took about 20 minutes to make. The Green Tea Egg Bubble Waffle was absolutely MOUTHWATERING DELICIOUS. We did not come here for the Green Tea Egg Bubble Waffle but THAT was what left a huge impression on us. We had to control ourselves to stop eating it before the souffle came out! When the souffle was finished, it did look aesthetically pleasing and delicious. However, when that moment came and my friend and I took the first bite, we looked at each other with such disappointment and immediately went back to devouring the Green Tea Egg Bubble Waffle. The souffle was sort of bland and did not reach our expectations. Nonetheless, I would pretty much only come back for the Egg Bubble Waffles and to try their other flavors!

Nice people working here. The pancakes take a while to make and the system for making these needs some improvement. I saw a bunch of high school kids leave a friend behind for the amount of time he had to wait on his food. I like how jiggly these are and how the lady did accommodate us and let us change the red bean paste to strawberries. This spot also has egg waffles too. Our matcha cream with pancakes was pretty fluffy. There is a large space upstairs to sit. The room echoes, but there are a lot of chairs, tables and chargers. The sitting space in front of Eggcellent is shared by the lobster roll store, bubble tea store, and ice cream store in the same building. We asked to use the bathroom and were told that there was something wrong with the door. An out of order sign should've been put on it if it wasn't open for people to use anymore. If you just want trendy food, this place is fine. You'll finish eating your pancake in less than a minute. But I don't think it is worth coming here for a $10 pancake that takes so long to make.

Came here quite some time ago and finally getting around to writing my review. Had heard about this from my foodie friends grapevine and had to come try it out, especially after seeing the souffles they had on Shokugeki No Soma. The souffle is very rich, fluffy and delicious. I had to get the mango one. It was very sweet and tart. Definitely a perfect dessert after all the spicy foods I had that day.

To quote my fellow Yelper Danesh who shared the meal with me, 'it's like eating clouds'. . These Soufflè pancakes are the softest delicacy I might have ever had. It's a beautiful fall Sunday morning, and Danesh and I thought it would be cool to grab a meal at this pancake spot. When I got there, I was a bit taken aback by how tiny the place is, and got worried about being able to have the meal there. I had to turn around to realize there is a sign that says 'more seating upstairs'. I highly recommend they better advertise that they have seating upstairs. Placing our orders was easy. As we waited for them, we were taken aback by how many people walked in and ordered as well. They have a sign by the register that advertises the wait time (15-20 mins). However, if I didn't have a seat and good company, I'm sure it would have been uncomfortable to wait that long for our order number to be called right in the tiny space. They may need to consider creating a system where people are notified that the order is ready remotely (without being near the register). After a good 20-25 minutes, our orders were ready for consumption. The soft texture and the perfect balance of chocolate, Oreo cookies, and banana made it worthwhile. I recommend coming to check this place out. It's worth the wait. But they can easily be a five star location if they make some key design changes to their service.

This counter shares a food hall type space with other businesses and is conveniently located steps from the Flushing LIRR. If you missed the signage outside, back track to the lobster hanging overhead at the entrance. This stall is way in the back. Yummy egglettes/egg waffles. While I didn't try any custom or fancy dessert topped ones, we enjoyed the original which is classic/the chocolate one for my kiddo who loves chocolate and for kicks, I ordered the green tea flavored egg waffles. Could use a little more matcha powder but the taste was noticeable. Great snack spot or as a dessert spot.
