The 19 Best Vegetarian Restaurants In Seattle

"Eggs And Plants serves great falafel, but that’s not your only vegetarian option here. You can also get a sandwich with fried eggplant or shakshuka-braised eggs, plus hummus, tahini, a citrusy cabbage salad, pickled vegetables, and french fries. Add a fresh mint lemonade slushie, and then start petitioning that henceforth, all sandwiches everywhere should come stuffed with fries." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

Seattle’s Best Vegetarian Restaurants - Eater Seattle

"This straightforward Mediterranean spot in Belltown bakes its own pita and fills it four ways: Egyptian (falafel), Israeli (hummus), Iraqi (fried eggplant), or Moroccan (poached eggs, tomato sauce, fried potatoes). Bonus attraction: While eating, diners can watch glassblowers at work in the studio next door, lending some welcome ambiance." - Matthew Lombardi

One of my new favorite spots in Seattle. Great food and a cool location. Service was fast and friendly. I really enjoyed the falafel sandwich and the frozen mint lemonade--delicious. It's not a super big place, but there is some seating. And you can watch glass blowing going on next door while you eat!

One of the best places for Middle Eastern sandwiches in Seattle. In a small space shared with a glass art gallery. You may be able to watch glass being blown while you wait. The falafel and hummus are great but be sure and branch out and try the sabich (a specialty of Iraqi Jews) or shakshuka (eggs poached in tomato sauce). Guaranteed you'll be happy.

I feel bad to leave this review, but maybe the owner should make some changes. First time I was here, the lady was rude and the food wasn't good. I wanted to give it another try and again, the lady is still rude, it's probably the worst pita breath I ever had and the rest of the food is ok. Will not come back.

Quick, easy order placement and pickup, delicious and good portions/ prices. Currently providing delivery or no- contact pick up options which were clearly stated so then easy to complete the whole process. Just happened to walk by the store front with 2 tables/ chairs out if wanting to still ‘eat out’ so that was nice and able to relax while waiting for the order. Multiple people came and picked up that seemed like locals so that helped me decide to try it. Glad I did! Thank you!!

Other reviewers have complained about poor service here, which I didn't experience as I never interacted with anyone. I like the ease of placing my order online, which I did before walking over. As long as you read the directions posted on the door, explaining they require masks and will put your order once complete on the table just inside, you should have no problems. I stood outside and watched through the window, then stepped inside just to grab my food and go. I can totally understand why they may not react well to people who can't read directions! As far as the food, it was just ok. I ordered the Moroccan sandwich plus falafel, and it was smaller than the menu made it appear to be. I didn't want a huge lunch so it ended up not a big deal. Tahini sauce was good, and it was a decent mix of ingredients, more on the healthy side. There were whole crunchy chickpeas in the falafel which were a bit too firm for my liking.

Everything we tried was excellent. The Shakshooka pita had just the right mix of ingredients. The falafel was crisp from the outside and fluffy on the inside. The sabich was perfect.

Food was average, the bread was not quite easy to bite into. Customer service leaves much to be desired. I would not go back. I didn't get my soda with my combo.

The food here is insane. I always get the Sabich which has fried eggplant inside. The pita is extremely soft and the flavors melt inside your mouth. I only reduced a star because of the extremely long wait times. I typically call in and place my order during lunch and walk down to pick up my order. the wait times are usually 20 mins, however they almost always screw up the order and it is never ready when I get to the place. End up waiting almost 30 mins for my order. This has happened a bunch of times. However they do offer 5$ credit for their mistake. There are also complementary veggies with Tahini to munch on while u wait, so that helps!
