"I found a new Mexican taqueria and grocery run by owners from Guerrero where two cooks work while a clerk sells food from behind a counter; beyond the usual tacos, enchiladas, tostadas, and flautas, they offer snacks and desserts like chicharrones preparados (a giant rectangular wheat cracker topped with cheese, chiles, and chorizo) and pepinas locos (cucumber cups filled with peanuts, candies, and other items).
