Froggy Meadow Farms Faced Closure Until Chicago Chefs Stepped In | Eater Chicago

"The restaurant’s chef, Devon Quinn, is a longtime customer who trusts the farmer for unique crops that give his menus an edge; Quinn helped spearhead the fundraising campaign (with Paramount Events) and publicly champions the farmer’s produce, noting pride in serving his mushrooms and tomatoes. Quinn also emphasizes a personal connection formed through weekly market visits and knowledge shared by the grower." - Ashok Selvam

Place was kinda hidden in a small strip but it was one of the few food stops within walking distance in the area. I had the French toast and burrito, both were delicious and came out pretty quick.

Happen to randomly be by this restaurant and decided to give it a try considering they have a high rating. Ordered the quesadilla de carne asada and I love it 😍🔥 I love that it’s fresh and handmade huarache!! No fat in my carne asada which I appreciate because I didn’t have to hand pick it out. Great prices and great amount of food! Really nice staff!!

As other said the spot is hidden, right on the corner of the shopping center. Also, it’s cash only, that’s an Inconvenience but the food is amazing, had a Cuban sandwich which was so good, never had something like it, and the visit before that was a taco plate also great. Check out the spot and be sure to come for lunch since they close at 2pm usually.

Looking for a hole-in-the-wall gem of fantastic Mexican food? Well, this is it. I have traveled to TJ and they got great ones too...but right here? Thank You Jesus!!!

Small whole in the wall place with home style food. Great food , good service. Could be cleaner . Located in a seedy shopping square, you can’t see it from the street.

I went to go pick up some pupusas which took nearly 50 mins after i was told 20-30 and not to mention how saggy they were to the point they were stuck together but straight to the point they gave me food poisoning i will never be coming back!

Small hole in the wall place with great tasting food. They only accept cash but the food along with some great service make this a wonderful place to go back to. Authentic Mexican food with lots of choices.
