This is an amazing place. My wife and I went there 3 days in a row. 😆 The food is amazing. I have mainly chosen the Habayaki Burrito, which is amazing. But if you sub out the cold slaw for the Jalapeño cold slaw... you will want to thank me later. Add a little red sauce, and you are set for an amazing meal. I am in town working, so I only wish we had a place like this back home.

This place is actually mad busting! Basically if you want a burrito or other Mexican food that just slaps then this is the place to go. Sometimes I've been heartbroken a couple times cuz I go on Saturdays and forget they're closed but they are a awesome little family run food place thats the best at being awesome

The servings are huge, you could easily share a burrito with someone else (and still have leftovers) Selection is great The Habayaki burrito is absolutely delicious, great flavor

El Fat Cat really has one of the best burritos I’ve had in a long time. I’m a creature of habit, so I’ve only had the Habayaki burrito—but it was so good, I haven’t felt the need to try anything else. The staff is super friendly, and there’s always a line at lunch, which is usually a good sign. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

This place is flat out a hidden gem, and if you know you know but BELIEVE me, you want to know! It's off the road and partially behind an old self service car wash. Like I said hidden. When you look, there's always a line. I promise you the wait is worth it. The customer service was outstanding! The atmosphere was super chill. To the food, perfect the Green Hornet burger was spectacular. The flavor profiles made my taste buds sing. Coleslaw was done very simply, and was very good. There wasn't any seating at the location, but we're in luck... Columbia Park is literally a 2 min drive and you can eat your meal hanging out by the water.

I can't even begin to explain how awesome this establishment is. The burrito I ordered was so big it would have fed my wife and myself. I got the pineapple salsa and it was amazing. I could barely finish the burrito by myself. Super value and excellent quality food. Two thumbs up 👍 2nd visit on 11/20 was awesome. I will always come here when I'm in town. Can't beat it. Well what else can I say. This establishment doesn't disappoint. Great food every time. I've tried to correct Google navigation as to the correct entrance of this location. No such luck. It's worth the hunt to find this location.

They close at 3pm so you gotta hurry and get that food. First time eating here. Wow. We were impressed. Will return to try some other things including their breakfast. They’re so good I left work early for them. lol Coleslaw could’ve been a bit chilled but hey, I ate it up.

El Fat Cat Grill is the best place to eat in the Tri-Cities! Period! Anything and everything you order is FIRE!!! Time to get my fix. Hard part is.... trying too decide what to order. Its all amazing ! 😀 . Long live EFCG!!!

A great stop on a long road trip. Very friendly service and delicious food. They have several tasty sauces to choose from. Their sweet chili pineapple one was really good, and they have a unique walnut sauce that paired well with their curry vegetable rice bowl. Street tacos were very flavorful. I'd definitely love stopping here again whenever we pass through town.

Love this place! Tried burger, 2 diff burritos and several sauces. Unpopular opinion: I didn't love the pineapple sauce. Others in my party loved it. And I'm a "put the pineapple on the pizza" kinda girl. So just a preference thing I suppose. The food was amazing though. Will def be back!!!

Stopped here on our road trip and they have amazing tacos and giant burritos. The burrito was like a foot long! They have multiple salsas to choose from as well. We will definitely be stopping here again in the future.

I Absolutely love this place in Tri-Cities! The owners are so kind and down to earth and food is fantastic. I appreciate a place with excellent customer service and the fact that they repeat the order. They talk to strangers like family and you can tell these are the kind of people that truly want to make sure you leave the window feeling 100% satisfied. The food is very flavorful and there is usually always a line. This time I grabbed a Farmer's burrito and added some guacamole. Salsas and hot sauces are served by request as well and they have a plethora of them of which to choose. There's not an area to sit so unless you want to eat in the car it's served as to-go style so you can enjoy the deliciousness at home. Thanks for the incredible food and hospitality El Fat Cat team!

Great pineapple salsa! Got a few tacos and a smoky bandito burger. The burger was tender, cheesy, bacony. The grilled onions were soft and well caramelizad. Everything was super flavorful, and the staff were upbeat and patient.

I will definitely go here again! Had El Fat Cat grill outside Tee Time and Jenny was very welcoming, informative and kind. Food was delicious. Fabulous experience!

Can't tell you how much we love this spot! Staff is awesome! One of the owners Jenny is beyond great! She remembers her regulars -is always friendly and greats with a smile! You can tell she engages with the customers often referring to them by name or saying their order before they get to the front. All there salsa are delicious!! Food is amazing and presentation is always on point. I'm so excited they are selling there pineapple sauce!

Stumbled upon this gem during a trip to Tri Cities. Awesome food and super friendly service. I loved the Habayaki Bowl and my husband enjoyed the Green Hornet Burger.

They never disappoint, still eating my way through the whole menu and only have a few items left. They have me a ton of extra habanero salsa so I would have extras and I bought three bottles of their pineapple sauce. Now I can put it on everything.

Yelp always wants us to write long flowery reviews extolling the food, the service, the ambiance etc. Ambiance? It's not more than a glorified food truck. Hours are short and they close when they sell out. Get here early. Service? Super friendly and they knew my name after only a few visits. The food? LITERALLY the best burrito I've ever eaten. There's nothing more to say. Just that. If you drive by you're missing out!!

Today was our first visit. Will come and eat every visit to the Tri-Cities! Very friendly people and wonderful food. We were very impressed!

Best food on the planet. Jenny and Felix are the goats, anytime I'm in town this is the first place I stop! I'd point you here before anywhere else in the STATE!

The food was incredible! And the portions were much more than anticipated. One of our sons (who is always hungry) could not finish his burger (but could not stop raving about the flavor. He got the Smokey bandido.) The flavors of our burritos (bacon Gouda breakfast burrito and the HabaYaki) were so flavorful and fresh. And the prices were far less than other establishments yet with much more superior food! The service was also such a treat. Even though we were just passing through, the staff made us feel like regulars. Extremely friendly and appeared to actually care how our day was going. Highly recommend this place to anyone who values authentic service and amazingly flavorful dishes with more than reasonable prices. I just wished they had a few tables set up for those who want to enjoy the deliciousness right away.

Is this the best Food Truck in America? Just going to have to vist them and answer that for your self. What I can tell you is that you will be pleased with anything from this menu. Felix and the crew KILL IT!!!!!!

El Fat Cat Grill is a hidden gem! BEST BURRITO EVER! And, it was GINORMOUS! I had the chicken with hot sauces on the side. So, so good!

I grew up in So Cal, going to Baja.... My faith in Mexican food in this part of the world is renewed. My husband's response was "I wish I could fit more food in my belly" :) Get a side of firecracker sauce! We live 2 hours away and considered driving back the next day!!! Highly recommend the Scary Roy Chilada... Eat it fast LoL

Great Food, I had all 3 tacos which were all delicious, my husband had the beef burrito he said it was the biggest one he had ever had and it was delicious! They are so nice and friendly there, definitely a MUST Try!!! They also bottle their hot sauces another great plus!

Let's talk about how amazing this place is. It had a line, so we knew it had to be good. And we were not disappointed. I had the triple threat torta, and I think I made nom nom noises through the whole thing! Staff was extremely polite and helpful. No seating, but we were more than happy to sit in our car and enjoy this delicious food. Definitely make this adorable little spot a destination!

Visiting tri cities for work & found this place. Best burrito bowl I've ever had. Need one of these where I live and a bottle of the firecracker sauce.

I had some serious reservations walking up to the tiny box behind the car wash. The line of people was a good sign. We placed our order and only had to wait about 5 minutes. The smell was crazy, I couldn't wait to dive into the Triple Threat. The adobada/pork combo was the thing of dreams! The sauces brought the perfect combo of flavor and heat. It was the type of sandwich you could eat every day and never tire of! Make sure to get extra napkins, it's a hard one to eat without making a mess!

I highly recommend and absolutely love their curry! It is so flavorful and full of fresh vegetables!

This place has some of the best Mexican food intro cities! Me and my fiancé go whenever we can and it is literally our favorite spot I usually get the burrito de asada and it's so good! Gotta have!

If you love tacos, you have to try this place!! We were amazed with the fresh, delicious flavors and selections of hot sauces! Next time we're in Kennewick we'll have to try some of the other options, a lot of choices on the menu! Oh yes, and great value at very reasonable prices!!

Come here to get a burrito the size of your forearm! All that for around $7. Too bad what could have been two meals ended up being one because it was a soggy mess. In other words: I had to toss the rest. I ordered the habayaki burrito. The tortilla was perfectly toasted and the first bite was so promising. Sure it wasn't mixed inside so all the rice was on one end while all the other stuff was on the other. But it was good. But then I got past the crispy ends and began my way toward the middle, where the juice from the cole slaw quickly turned the burrito into a heap of stuff mashed together. It's like they didn't even try to drain the cole slaw before sticking it in the burrito. I think if I had ordered the normal burrito, it would have rocked. I'm going to have to give this place another go, and try that next time.

Very friendly service, but expect to wait since this place is busy. I had high hopes for the food giving all the hype, but it was pretty basic and nothing you couldn't make at home. Not bad, but nothing special. There is no outdoor seating, but at least there is shade.

The Porky Abado was exquisitely prepared. Fantastic cream sauce. Very generous serving, I just couldn't stop. Also any variety of tacos are tasty and unique. Very friendly staff whom have patience and class. I love the food pod, however limited seating but weather is great to eat in the car or take out. I'm driving from Canada with friends just to impress upon them how great this joint is. Also the lady who wrote the review about the $2.50 orgasm is right on the money.

Cons-Long lines, limited parking and limited hours of operation. If you want to enjoy this fabulous product you have to make a concerted effort to go Monday through Friday from 11am-3pm. In addition, the lunch traffic can be busy and you will need to wait in line for a lengthy period of time. I would recommend they extend their hours of operation or open one Saturday a month especially during the summer months. This would reach a broader customer base who don't have time to enjoy your food during the week. Pros-The Pork Chorbado Burrito is huge and full of flavor. The salsas are homemade and incredibly tasty. The service is super friendly. The ambiance is fantastic. Overall this is my favorite food truck in the Tri-Cities to visit. I would visit more often if the hours of operation allowed me to do so.

This place is scrumptious. What else can I say? The service is good, staff are quite amiable, and prices extremely reasonable. The tacos are flavorsome and the the burritos are massive. I really can't recommend this taco truck enough! While there is no seating and finding parking can be rather difficult during busier hours at El Fat Cat Grill, every other aspect of this place is sublime.

Big shoutout to Jenny for great, kind and genuine customer service. You are amazing!! I ordered vegetarian burrito, Jenny recommended what to add in it and it was great. Their compassion and loves shows in the taste of food. The portion size is huge. I would highly recommend this place !!!

For the fourth year in a row, we detoured on our drive from Bend to Sandpoint to stop at El Fat Cat. And are we glad we did! Once again, all items we ordered were superb. Service is fast and courteous and the portions are ample. I highly recommend the HabaYaki burrito. Half sufficed for lunch and the balance was a great pre-ski breakfast. Also, I recommend the pineapple salsa. Best ever. We will be back next February on our annual cat ski trip.

When we first moved here from New Mexico, people kept telling us to try out this place (we were trying to find a place that had food similar to New Mexican food). Although it isn't New Mexican food it's pretty dang good!! We love this place and have been getting something probably once a week for about the last 8 months! We have been trying all the menu items each time but I think our favorites are the chicken or shrimp tacos and the Habayaki Burrito. Those are our go two's all the time! They also have amazing salsas that you can try too! So friendly at the Cat, but if you don't have time to wait then you better come on another day. They sell out almost every day and are not open on the weekends. We love this place and love that they are local!! We will always support local businesses!! Their food is so delicious and cooked from the heart! Go try them out I promise you won't be disappointed!!

Cute little taco truck with delicious food! The staff here was super friendly and sweet! I love their salsas. Menu was big and had lots of variety + portion sizes were big. Only con was the line was long.

Kindest staff! Fast food! Amazing flavors! They didn't have beef or jicama, but that might have been a supply thing... it was busy on a Friday lunchtime when we arrived to a line of maybe 7 people. The cashier was so sweet to help me order and threw in a freebie too. I got the triple threat torta with no cheese. Loved the choice of sauces, I got the pineapple and two of the medium ones, wish I remembered what they were!! Coleslaw was not too slimey or sweet, which is great, often a problem with slaws. A big bowl of pico and chips were a great side, I was so full. My pal wasn't as happy with her meal- a veggie burrito with white rice, beans and no cheese? Might have mixed up, I ordered no cheese. I think this place is best for meat eaters.

This was hands down the best burrito I have ever had, and one of the best deals as well! As you can see by the pictures, my pork chorbada burrito probably clocked in above a pound and was stuffed full of delicious pork and chorizo, with a super flavorful Spanish rice that somehow stood out from the meat and really packed some flavor. The best part is that you get all of that for just 8 bucks. I was also able to try the Fiji taco and Porky Adobo which were both absolutely stellar. Let's just say the camera didn't make it out before the taco was gone! Try the pineapple and tomatillo salsas they have at the window for a little extra flavor as well! A tip that's been said many times before: get here before noon if you want to get in line and have your food quickly! This place gets packed, and they take their time to ensure quality so you may have to wait if not.

First visit on a 15° day involved waiting in line. Tenth in line (a good sign, although I was a little salty about the frigid temps). In hindsight, I'd have waited in a line of 100. I try not to give 5-star reviews unless it's REALLY special. My god, talk about perfection in every aspect of the craft. Simple food, elevated to a taste experience that I don't feel I can put into words. Genuine and friendly service, too...you can't fake that. Had the HabaYaki beef burrito and 4 misc. salsas that they recommended (walnut, habanero, pineapple and mild). The burrito is a foot long and as big around as a beer can. Perfectly toasted on the grill, and absolutely stuffed with meat, rice, onion, cilantro and slaw. Heaven. No other word for it, really. And the salsas were each unique and delicious. Show up early if you can. The "Open" sign posts their hours and the words "or until sold out". Which they did today. I'd imagine with food this good, selling out early is a daily occurrence.

My friend brought me to Fat Cat for lunch. It was a popular spot as we waited in line, but the service was prompt and worth the wait. Cute and engaging stand. The lady who took our order was very kind. I had a HabaYaki burrito, but they were offering it in bowl form that day! Delicious tender chicken, I could drink the sauce by itself, and even best was the coleslaw. Slaw lovers know that a good slaw will SET IT OFF, and you can definitely tell when it's fresh. Full of flavor and not super watery with the right balance of crunch and tenderness. THANK YOU EL FAT CAT.
