El Gaucho - Review - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This elegant Downtown steakhouse has a $190 Chateaubriand dinner for two (including Caesar salad, bread, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, roasted corn, and a choice of key lime pie or banana bread pudding). There’s also a prime rib dinner for two with the same sides and dessert that’s $290. You can add on a la carte sides and desserts as well, but be sure to place your order by Sunday, December 20th at noon. Pickup is on Christmas Eve from 2-6pm. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Where to Get a Great Steak in Seattle | Eater Seattle

"In 2020, the Pacific Northwest throwback favorite opened a new 10,000-square-foot location at Belltown’s historic Union Stables building just north of Pike Place Market. With a main dining area, four private rooms, and a bar, there’s plenty of space for those dining in." - Megan Hill

Famous Seattle Restaurants That Live Up to the Hype | Eater Seattle

"Seattle’s answer to NYC’s Peter Luger, El Gaucho and its mink-upholstered booths has a rep as a ritzy, unaffordable-to-the-common-man chophouse. Although the current Belltown location isn’t the original one from the ’50s, it’s tricked out with enough showstopping Rat Pack style to fool anyone who didn’t know that: a live pianist, a flaming bananas Foster cart, candles, martinis, and flamboyant, dazzling cuts of meat. Service is next-level, as well." - Meg van Huygen
