For $40 you get to pick from a selection of appetizers, entrees, dessert, and drink (just a heads up, the coca cola from Mexico I ordered is not considered a soft drink from the DINEOUT menu, I had to pay about $3 for the special Coke, I guess it's only can sodas that are considered part of the fixed meal, no worries)
For my appetizer I ordered the Street Corn. Only one cob and it was delicious. Then I asked for the Snapper with rice and beans and maduros. I had enough to take some home. For dessert I ordered the churros which came with icecream, very tasty and also took some home. For my drink I decided to get Coca Cola made in Mexico in old fashioned bottle which I've heard is made with real sugar, not high fructose corn syrup, although I don't mind the regular version. Like I said before the Coca Cola bottle is not considered a soft drink for the DINEOUT Lauderdale fixed menu. All the staff were really welcoming and I didn't have to wait too long for the food to come out. I went with my neighbor/friend who needs to use a wheelchair and at Guanaco there is a ramp from the parking lot and my neighbor was able to sit in his wheelchair at a table, plenty of room. Guanaco has a very tidy and inviting ambiance with nice music coming out of the speakers, not too loud.
All in all I Iike this place and have been planning to visit for a while now. Highly recommend and I will be back!:)
