Our waiter Baltazaar was very helpful with his suggestions. The entire staff were very attentive. We had tabouli salad, spinach and cheese empanadas, Koussa Bil Laban (zucchini stuffed with rice+meat drizzled in yogurt sauce) and lamb ribs. The house bread was crunchy, soft and warm. For dessert we had date filled cookies with just the right sweetness and comforting mint leaf tea. Every single dish was excellent! It was very delicious and we'd love to visit again.

I visited El Jamil to celebrate a friend's birthday, and while the food was good, the experience was completely ruined by the service. The waiter who attended us was incredibly misogynistic and sexist. From the start, his attitude was rude and dismissive towards my friend, who was celebrating her special day. He not only threw things on the table but also rudely crossed in front of us while serving, showing a total lack of respect. Additionally, we repeatedly asked for certain items that never arrived. Even when we ordered a bottle of wine, he just left it on the table without offering any kind of service, as if he didn’t care at all.

Wow ! What can I say, just an amazing spot and a true gem in the Condesa area. Whether you’re craving a touch of Beirut and its beautiful vibes, or a piece of Lebanese cuisine, El Jamil has it for you. From the moment you arrive you are greeted by the kind staff. I loved the fact there was outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor seating took me to the streets of Mar Mikhael and just made me reminisce Lebanon. The food was to die for. The tabbouleh finely made with the right bulgur, the fattoush was just lemony and delicious, the hummus, literally one of the best I’ve had. The whole mezze takes you back to the Mediterranean. The main dishes were amazing and all ingredients were fresh and made to order. You can taste the freshness and the amount of time went into making the food. I was so fortunate to find this spot and go there multiple times during my stay in Mexico City. Please do yourself a favour and try this restaurant and delve into the Mediterranean.

Very cute place. Nice interior. Unfortunately we ordered the kebab and found the a couple of our chicken pieces were not cooked all the way through and still raw. The fries that came with our sharma were also raw. It was unfortunate because the food that we got was somewhat tasty but being served raw food completely killed our appetite. The service was very slow even though there was barely anyone in the restaurant. Take your chance here carefully!

The bad service remains in the memory. The waiter had no desire to work and did not interact with the guests at all. No warmth or friendliness. The food was Tasty but also expensive. Can recommend Hummus with bread.
