El Jardín

There were not many restaurant options for me, but on my last full day in Guadalajara, I found this amazing vegan restaurant. I’m not sure if it’s buffet-style only on Sunday, but it offers has lots of palatable flavors!. The place is vast comparatively to other restaurant venues and the service is beyond welcoming. Nutritious choices, clean.food and a host that makes make want to fly back to Guadalajara just for this level of service. It’s a 10 for me!

A vegetarian/ vegan buffet at a whopping 189 pesos p/p. I am not a veggie food lover, due to lent have given up eating meat and to find this place was a treat. The food was delicious and the owner that runs the place is a hard working guy, running all over the place with a friendly demeanor, always greeting all his customers as they walk in nice little touch.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff and delicious food. 🤤 We went for lunch buffet, me being gluten free, lactose intolerant and have other allergies too I still could find lots of things to eat and all the staff was aware of allergies and ingredients. 200 pesos per person and everything is included, unlimited food from the buffet, tea/coffee, desserts. The staff had very positive attitude, they were smiling all the time and were very helpful. Highly recommended! 🤩

The food was heavenly! Definitely a culinary highlight. I don't speak spanish very well but the owner was very patient and friendly and I went home with a lot of delicious, vegetarian food. The portions are huge and the prices more than fair! I can 100% recommend!

So nice, we ate here twice! We only had four days in Guadalajara, and we ate breakfast at El Jardín twice. We are a veggie/vegan couple and we absolutely loved the food. We left fully stuffed and it was so inexpensive. While we don't mind trying to speak Spanish, we are native English speakers and our waiter (I believe his name was Jesus) was able to speak with us in English which was helpful to us. I highly recommend getting the torta ahogada - it was delicious! The chilaquiles and tofu a la mexicana were also amazing. You can't go wrong here!

A vegetarian buffet is available at lunch for 200 pesos. The value you get is mind-blowing; high-quality foods, are prepared deliciously. Also, the selection is amazing. This place is a gem. You could pay 50% more elsewhere and not get as good a meal as this. I'm not a vegetarian, but I found it more than satisfying.

This place is so badass. I came here everyday of my 5 day trip to Guadalajara. Great way to get fresh veggies, hearty food, and a nice environment all in one. Wish they had one in CDMX.

This place was amazing! The staff is so friendly. I loved all of the vegetables and options. The moly made with potatoes and seitan was good. I particularly enjoyed the variety of desserts that were vegan. My favorite one made with raisins and plátanos.

Tasty healthy food. Nicely located close downtown;not many dishes to choose from but whatever there was we enjoyed it.
