El Marinero Borracho

Went in the day after a sea trip. Ceviche, aguachile, tacos all hit the spot with a beer and a Topo Chico. Standard everything, just what we were looking for. Quick after being on the water.

A cultural twist on baja comida! Try pesto ceviche, Asian style tacos that taste like spring rolls, and coconut pineapple rice. So delicious with tropical twist. For dessert pie of four flavors. Pictured is the Avocado Pie. Savory, earthy, creamy goodness on a homemade gram cracker crust.

We walk by the restaurant and decided to stop in. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the menu and the prices. Food was excellent and great value. My wife was full as the portions were large. I 100% would eat here again. I can safely say I would recommend this restaurant. I would love to try their hamburgers.

Prices went up recently, closed Mondays. Maracuyá Margaritas are delicious, I ask for half the syrup or they are too sweet for my taste. Same with the flavor waters. They also just changed the menu. Have been here several times, sometimes its better than others, somewhat inconsistent as usual locally. The salsas are good. I love the Chiltepin. I love the Shrimp Tostadas with the chiltepin salsa. The Tacos are very crispy with crunchy cabbage.

This place looks like SpongeBob's house. The food and price as expected of these beach places. Good enough. The atmosphere and vibe was great. Worth a visit if you feel like a burger and chips sort of place with a dash of seafood. Service was good.

Best tacos I’ve had in San Jose and super filling and big portions too! The seaside view can’t be beat… it was a beautiful place to watch the sunset. Highly recommend for sunset dinner :)

Just had a quick taco and margarita here after checking into a nearby BNB - wow. Service was super friendly and prompt, margarita hit the spot, and the tacos were truly very good for an extremely reasonable price. I had the steak and my wife had the shrimp and both were well-plated with unique flavors. We just arrived today and already I know we’ll be back!

Easily my favorite place in the whole world to eat, I love the AguaChile en Salsa negra and half Red with Chiltepin, fresh and spicy, also love the Chicharon de pescado( Fish Tenders ) and the sides it comes with I make plenty of Tacos. Also had a side of Ceviche Mixto Classico. in a Tostada.
