Summary:
Unexpectedly tasty parking lot truck tacos
Details:
Maybe I've been burned one too many times by food trucks, but I definitely didn't expect to be as wowed by one as I was by El Paisa, what with their super flavorful meats and all!
That said, not all their options are standout, with the much-acclaimed al pastor actually falling short in flavor for me, and the chorizo a bit too dry and hard. That aside though, the flavor of the chorizo was actually quite nice, and their lengua is probably one of the best I've had ever, with them serving up an entire thick cut SLICE of tongue, rather than chopping it into smaller pieces, which lets you really get a mouthfeel for how tender they're able to make it. If you're opting for this (and you really should), get it in taco form, since you lose this quality when getting it inside their burritos.
Accessibility:
It's a food truck with some portable seating outside, so... the tables are semi-accessible, while the food truck itself is less so. That said, payment is around counter-height, and they've brought the food out to me before so that I don't have to reach up to an impossibly high window, so you're not out of options if you come solo!
