The food was excellent. Great flavor. Nice atmosphere with plenty of tables. The service was really slow, though. They were quick to seat us but after that it was hard to get someone to come to the table.

I've been coming to this place for over 20 years. . . And never not once have I gotten a bad or less than quality meal! Today my steak wasn't the best but immediately Alfonso the manager, corrected and got me a new meal completely. Soco, was the waitress that helped me and apologized profusely - offering to comp my drinks- quality service!!! That is the sign of a great restaurant! When something goes wrong you give the best service possible to make it right!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. I am originally from Chicago and could not find food Mexican food here in South Florida but when I can across this place my quest has been fulfilled. Juicy steak,nice big cuts, seasoned amazingly!!! The fresh chips and salsa are fresh out of the fryer. This is my go to place now.

As a native Texan, I’m super picky about Mexican food, and this is the closest thing we’ve found to a great neighborhood Mexican restaurant here. The portions are generous, the food is consistently fresh and flavorful, and the margaritas are just the right kind of strong. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the vibe is relaxed and comfortable—exactly what you want in a local favorite. Between the quality, the price, and the friendly atmosphere, we’re so glad we found El Paso.

The wait staff is always helpful & very conscientious. The restaurant is extremely clean & has plenty of room. Plus you get to support another local small business.

Food is always full flavor. Service is not always as friendly. The atmosphere is a comfortable and relaxing environment with music that is set at the perfect volume where customers can have a conversation too.

My wife and I wish we discovered El Paso sooner 🥰 We were instantly greeted when we arrived and our order was taken. There are so many delicious options on the menu you so could visit them multiple times and never have the same thing twice. The food arrived fresh and was made to order quickly. I had the fajitas and they were utterly amazing. The chips and salsa are out of this world and I highly recommend you check them out. I can't recommend them more. Five stars all the way.

Great place. Plenty of parking available in front of the store. When we walked in, we were seated immediately. The decor was slightly dark but the feel was authentic. We got 3 different dishes. I shared the mojarra with my daughter. We both enjoyed it. My spouse had the chimichanga. My aunt had the enchilada. The food came pretty fast & everything arrived correctly. Visited this restaurant last week. The staff was very friendly and fast. We enjoyed the ambience as the restaurant was small but very welcoming and it was not very busy during lunch. The steak was amazing and we enjoyed the chips and salsa as well as the soup. We look forward to visiting again and trying more things off the menu.

I decided to check out El Paso because it was nearby and I was looking for a lowkey taco place. The service was decent just a little slow. I got their taco platter and it was extremely filling, so it was a good value for what you got! I enjoyed it and they had a good range of options for different types of tastes. I'd recommend checking them out for lunch!

My wife was in the mood for Mexican, and after a quick look on Yelp decided to give El Paso Restaurant a try. The place has a very colorful and eclectic decor. Thee ambiance is casual and relaxed. We were promptly shown to a table and they quickly too care of our drink orders. Service was friendly. I opted for a churrasco stake. It came with a chimichurri sauce that was very tasty. Overall, I was happy with my dish. My wife had the fajitas. She felt it needed more seasoning. My son had the las casa stake, that came with onions. He ate it all, so thats a good sign! Overall, we enjoyed our visit to El Paso Restaurant.

I wanted to visit this place for some time. Customer service: it's okay. The restaurant was not busy but took a while to get a to go box. I felt ignored which was frustrating. Food: Churrasco steak: $17.95 Rating: 7/10 Lack seasoning. Black bean too salty for me Complimentary chip &salsa Rating 8/10 Drink: Pina colada: $6:95 Rating: 10/10 It's creamy and sweet. Perfect on a hot day. Space is decorated in traditional Hispanic pieces. They have two tvs which plays sports game. I like that the music is not crazy loud. Tip: parking is easy. It is located right next to Publix. My experience was meh . Nothing special

I've been back multiples times since my earlier review and have not been disappointed since then ! Received a friendly greeting when i walked in the door today ! A basket of warm chips with salsa followed shortly. . Tip; ask for the spicy and mix it with the regular. You'll thank me later. Wanted something different than my usual fajitas. This "Tex Mex" place has some great Cuban dishes as well. Picadillo was nicely seasoned and had olives and raisins. Was perfect ! Also had beans on the side. Don't skip this place !

A solid 4 stars. Restaurant itself is nothing to talk about. Simple place in strip mall with Mexican decor. Food wise the complimentary chips and 3 salsas are right on! We have the Supreme Fajitas - shrimp, steak, chicken - and may be best I've ever had. The other entree we had was a marisco chimichanga - crab inside with 2 shrimps on top. Best part of this was rice and beans which are very good. The chimichanga was a miss in our opinion. We will be back for the chips and fajitas and try a new entree. Really good service on this Monday evening.

My family orders takeout from here about once a month when we're craving some Texmex comfort food. I always get the beef enchiladas and the family always gets chicken chimichangas. There are no surprises here. It's just executed really well and scratches that itch for the style of Mexican food most of us grew up with. The rice and refried beans are a seasoned perfectly with plenty of cheese melted on top (although sometimes I do order extra).

This restaurant has many good food choices. We had the variety nachos & chicken flautas. Both were very good. Service and atmosphere were both good & friendly.

Great food and service. Highly recommend. I do hope they are preparing their homemade salsa. Last time I was there, it seemed like store bought salsa . Their homemade salsa is the bomb. Going there today with friends for a birthday lunch!

Went on a Saturday afternoon with another couple who recommended it. Was delicious and filling. They even offered and filled my burrito with the sides for a huge serving. Would definitely recommend.

I decided to stop in here because I wanted tacos and I didn't want to go home yet. I need some time by myself. I ordered the taco dinner which comes with rice and refried beans. It was do good. This place is legit broski oski... they are doing all the right things. We can check mark versus the other Mexican spots around and El Paso is hittin in all cylinders. First and foremost... mild & spicy salsa and chips... G status... Secondly... the Chicken & Shrimp Fajita platter is straight fire! Thirdly... they have serious steaks here and entrees overall. Don't you Paso-ver this place mistakenly! See what I did there? lol I know cheesy.... but this place is Legit & Smooooth

Small restaurant that has been in the shopping center for a longgggg time. Walked in and we were greeted and sat quickly. Margarita was good. Ended up getting ropa vieja and some tacos. Both were awesome and cant beat the price. No wonder it has been around for so long.

Why have we lived here so long and are just now getting to El Paso. Food was amazing as was the service. Steak and Shrimp Fajitas, Skirt steak, guacamole, plantains...all amazing! Service was also great. Definitely coming back soon!

This review has been waaaay too long overdue as I have been here at least 6-7 times with the family and the last time with the Orphans. This very authentic Mexican restaurant that has been at this location for many years and I can't imagine that we hadn't spotted this place earlier.... but better late than never! This restaurant is in a strip mall off Wiles Road West off 441 but don't let that stop you. On entering we noticed it to be a neat clean joint decorated in the traditional Mexican way which was quite quaint appearing. We were greeted warmly by our hostess who was a very pleasant lady. The Menu was extensive with Mexican, Spanish and Cuban dishes! The tastes of each and every dish we ordered was spot on so I'll let the pictures do the talking! Fellow YELPERS do give this little place a try as I'm sure you won't be disappointed as for us ........ WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

Service was slow. Food ok nothing great. Had enchiladas they were smashed one friend had tostada salad very salty another had fajitas and mixed veg another. All too much salt. In reading prior reviews thought it would be great was disappointed. In such a small place they should have homemade tortilla chips coming non-stop.

Hidden gem in Coral Springs with great Mexican food. El Paso has fantastic refried beans. The Chicken Soup, Seafood Soup, Shrimp Fajitas, and Chicken Enchiladas are all great. I was not a fan of the Crab Enchilada, Camarones Criollos, and the Black Beans. The decorations inside the restaurant are very cute. El Paso is definitely my go-to restaurant when I want Mexican food.

Could have easily been five stars, easily. Last night was our first order and with he exception of a few items in the dishes (like black olives and mushrooms which not everyone likes) the food was DELICIOUS. We had the pizza App, except for the olives, delicious. I had the Chicken Quesadillas, My wife had the Vegetable Stir-Fry, also absolutely delicious, and my son a pork dish, which I tasted and liked, he was very satisfied. I don't usually like to order out from a place I've never been to. Reason being is I've never seen or tried their food. its a bit of a crap shoot but with some good recommendations from family, we took the chance. We will be back, and probably sooner than later. In both of my meals there was a small container of a red/orange sauce, whatever it was was amazing, I'd eat it on a flip-flop.

Food's amazing. Their service is great now. I recommend the Baby Tampiquena, Tuna Melt, or Roast Pork meal.

Mexican food is ma' jam. And on Thursdays I usually do Tijuana Taxi, but on this particular evening I wanted none of that. Of course I pulled out my Yelp app (gotta live by my motto) and found El Paso through the Yelp app, you know, being in doubt and all that. It is located in the corner of Riverside Drive and Wiles Road in a Publix plaza. It seems pretty much everything is located in a Publix plaza. It wasn't very busy and we were seated right away. The restaurant inside is quaint and picturesque. Lots of colors. The menu is quite extensive, it's got all the Mexican staples and some other Latin dishes. I had a bit of a hard time deciding what to get, everything sounded so good. In the end I decided to try the Burrito. My husband got the churrasco, which they claim it's as good as Argentinian steak... it was. Service was friendly and efficient. My only complaint is they were about to close and one of the waitresses kept shouting, and complaining, telling people to hurry along )restaurant staff not customers, but she was yelling so loud that we could all hear it). It was a bit annoying because I felt rushed. Other than that everything was great. I will definitely come back at some point to try more of their dishes.

Well we went back again. I think we have finally found our go to restaurant. We have been here in Florida for almost 3 years looking for a place that we really enjoy the food and atmosphere. This is it!!! Food is great. We had tacos. They we delicious . Next it will be time to try their margaritas. I asked about the chimichanga that I had the last time and asked the waitress about it. She said she thinks I got the wrong thing. But my friend ordered the same thing. So I don't know what went wrong. The menu says it's deep fried. Which is what I wanted. So I will give it a try again. Looking forward to our next meal there.

El Paso is easily one of the BEST restaurants I have been to in a while! I can't believe I have missed out on it for so long but am happy I have finally found it. If you're looking for fresh, delicious and consistent food combined with a super welcoming atmosphere, then look no further! Also the staff is super polite and makes you feel like you're part of the family! Definitely give this place a shot if you're in the area and you will not be disappointed!

Stopped in here today for a quick bite with my family. I had their vegetarian fajitas and I it was the best veggie fajitas that I've ever had. They didn't up charge me for the corn tortillas and I had plenty of food. This restaurant had been here for a long time, it seems to be a local favorite. If you are in the area, check it out, you won't be disappointed.

I have a new favorite restaurant! The food is full of so much flavor! The beans are fantastic! We wanted a hotter salsa for chips n the lady brought us a salsa that was supposed to be hotter but it wasn't hot but oh so good! We will b coming back very soon! I loved everything! I forgot to mention the chicken soup was very rich!!!!!

As soon as you walk in you can smell how good the food is going to be. Hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants in Broward. Service was excellent. winner, winner enchilada dinner.

Best Mexican food and even some Cuban food, look for their "Spanish" favorites, in Coral Springs and a friendly atmosphere. The service is great and their prices are reasonable. I highly recommend the burrito verde, the carnitas, the roast pork, and the taco combination (especially the lengua). Also the fried ice cream is delicious and can feed 3-4 easily.

So It pains me to make this statement but I can no longer recommend that ANYONE spend their hard earned money at this establishment. After 3+ yrs if eating here I can say that I will NEVER eat here again. Asking a paying customer to pay 2.95 for a basket of chips( maybe I'm being cheap but...) that cost you .25 cents is pathetic, I have NEVER been to a Mexican restaurant that charges for chips no matter how many baskets you eat.. Definitely not the way I would have wished my dining experience went. Your lose is another restaurants gain. Good luck and I hope you read this review and change your policy

Great Mexican restaurant. I recommend this restaurant very much, the service was fantastic, very clean place and the food is amazing! The Chiles Rellenos were delicious, the right amount of cheese and big enough for two people.

First time. We went for lunch. I had taco plate chicken and one beef. You can tell everything is fresh and cooked from scratch. Generous portions. (Only one critique could use more spice! ). That's just me.

Everything about this family owned business is delicious. Anytime and day of the week.

the shop itself is a cute little hole in the wall, easy parking, not busy, decorated with mexican vibes. the servers are very kind and helpful but a little shy and timid. the chicken milanesa, french fries, and cheese dip, which was queso blanco, was great. my party ordered steak, pork and wings, which they said was good but a little salty. the pricing is pretty expensive tho. 3 people, 2 appetizers was around $97 dollars.

I got my food to go and it was really good. It came with a side of sour cream and I was happy about that. Not very spicy, and the ground beef I didn't find great but the beef chunks as they call them were like pot roast consistency and really tender and delicious. I think I I will definitely try this again but I'll pass on the ground beef, I wasn't thrilled with it and that's usually a go to staple.

Found this little gem hidden, great food and service, tacos and margaritas were delicious. Reasonable prices. Will definitely be back.

I can't believe it took my this long to try out this restaurant! It was extremely delicious and will most definitely be coming back here. It is very reasonably priced and there is a bunch of different items to choose from. They start you off with chips and salsa for the table. I had the chicken fajitas, my boyfriend had the steak fajitas, my brother had a pork dish, and my mother had the chicken chimichanga. I really enjoyed the vegetables that came with my fajitas because they had such a good flavor to them. We all really enjoyed our meals! The service was great and we had no problems at all. The restaurant itself is actually a lot bigger than it looks. There are authentic decorations along the walls as well. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a more authentic Mexican taste than just the usual TexMex flavor.

El Paso is such a great go-to. The prices are fair, the food is made with love and the service is always with a smile! I used to feel they were so underrated, but they've come a long way over the years and I'm glad that now they get the recognition they deserve :) I don't venture too much, but I've have never had anything on the menu that I did not like!

I was in the area and found this place thanks to Yelp. I was a bit hesitant as there are mixes reviews but then I noticed that the low rating were from a few years ago and the high ratings were posted most recently. El Paso is a small Mexican restaurant located in a small strip mall, it's clean with a few booths and tables, and very cute decor. I found service to be very friendly and quick. Excellent homemade chips and salsa, I had the chimichurri steak, it was cooked to a perfect medium rare as requested, it was extremely flavorful and tender, I couldn't believe it was only $12! It came served with white rice, plantains and a delicious side of black beans. My family were also very happy with their food, servings were large, everything was cooked fresh and to prepared to order, we took plenty of left overs. Overall, I am very happy gave El Paso a try, it is obvious a local favorite as the restaurant was full and the staff was familiar with most of the clientele. I wish people who gave it low ratings a few years ago would give it a second try and update their reviews because this is a small mom & pop shop, the ladies were hustling and bustling to keep all tables attended and the food was expertly prepared. Don't drive out of your way, but if you are in the area definitely give it a try. Overall, excellent value for a fantastic meal for a small family owned strip mall place. stopped here as a visitor out of state, best Mexican restaurant I've ever had, replaces my hometown Mexican restaurant! Service was amazing, food was off the scale delicious, I wish I lived here so I could come here all the time! Please support this restaurant. My boyfriend and I meal as seen with drinks was about $26 + a large tip of my choice. You cannot beat that! Wow!
