Please pollo loco get the time right . Always come to this location it’s passing my job so it’s easy I spent about $13.05 times a week times a month maybe around $240 a month. I passed his location when I placed my order. They always asked me to wait five minutes outside because they’re never ready and I never have an issue with it. I mean you know by 908am I’m already out of there heading to my job so it worked out but today it was different an employee name Mary ready and I never have an issue with that. I mean you know by 1008 I’m already out of there heading to my job so it worked out but today it was different employee name mary and I mean I get there at 9:03 AM I’m being courteous you know I don’t wanna show up at 9 AM. I know 100% of the time they’re never ready so it’s 903 you know And The employee mary tells me to wait five minutes and I say yes but then she says no you gotta leave you gotta leave the whole place for five minutes and come back in five minutes and place your order in five minutes. Seriously so disrespectful for my time for my money out of the 1000 million places to eat in LA I choose El Pollo Loco. I love El Pollo Loco but you know what stay with mary stay with the time never been right stay with 10 minutes before opening wrong time. I don’t know Pollo Loco you disappoint me. I’m never going to any of your establishments. I’m right now heading somewhere else. I don’t know finding a new place around here. Have a great day, so disappointing to have employees asking you to leave and come back like what come back next day

Great experience the store has improved the staff is awesome, crew member Raffi really keeping it together. I've been dinning here almost every day lately that's how great the service and food have been. Really enjoying the El Pollo Loco Rewards app highly recommend it if you visit EPL a lot. I have recently had the two piece combo meal I've tried the Taco platters and the new handcrafted bowls including the ones with shrimp and they where all delicious, yes the EPL shrimp are good now.

So I ordered a large tortilla soup and double chicken, avocado salad, as soon as I got my order I checked then I have no sauce and no utensils so I asked for two cilantro dressing and she said that they were $.44 now I said OK but at least I should get one with my salad which I didn’t get one, then she turn around and as her coworker in Spanish asking her did you put one in the order? She said yes, they’re calling me a liar. I got mad so I said I’ll pay for the other one and let me have one for my salad they’re calling me a liar, I don’t appreciate that. it’s common sense. I ordered a salad and a tortilla soup. I should get the utensils. It’s common sense I don’t have to ask for them. Definitely not coming back here again Also, they closed doors at nine. and it states in there hours that they close at 9:30. people still want to come in like around 9:05 to order and they didn’t take their order. So much negativity for this place. Overall this chain restaurant is a solid 4 stars. The food is good but sometimes the chicken is a tad overcooked. Overall the workers are friendly and they don't give you issues for wanting more salsa. The restaurant is pretty clean for the area it's in. Theres plenty of parking in the plaza. I generally stop by when i'm in the area since its near my work.

Didn't get food, normally do the drive through and it's decent, but now seeing what goes on inside.. I will not be frequenting this place anymore. I love giving places a chance, but I was thoroughly disgusted with this location. I went in to buy a gift card & saw what seemed like a lot of "kids" running the place. Sure we start somewhere, but several just standing around until one walked in and seemed to get stuff in gear. Now what am I disgusted about, upon entering the door and having to stand by the trash cans in line, sorry folks, it literally smelled in there like human faces. It was the worst thing ever to have experienced in a restaurant.Threw up in my mouth! Don't know if someone made a mess in the restroom near by, wasn't interested in finding out. Either way, that was enough for me to never go back there again. Not a very clean faculty at all!

First of all the drive-through girl always has a really bad attitude she hands you the food with attitude, swinging it out the window. When I ask for extra condiments she rolls her eyes. I went tonight for a tostada salad they hardly put anything in it, It wasnt even half way full and to top it off they gave me some OLD AS RICE and burnt mac and cheese. Also don't even think of dining in, unless you want to be eating next to a bum . All that remodeling for nothing throw the whole restaurant away waste of property if i could give 0 stars I would

Yikes E.P.L., i get that the classic chicken burrito is part of the value menu but you guys leaving me hungry. Are your chickens sick? Was there an explosion at the chicken farm? Because it surely cant be that you're trying to save money, especially since El Pollo Loco made $29.12 MILLION in retained earnings (profit; money the stock holders take home and buy yachts- off of the money they take from us when we want to have lunch) in 2021 and has increased their PROFITS by 3.43% since then (see photos). Really sad. Thanks for nothing, latino owned empires and businesses should do better- especially in working class/poor neighborhoods like this location. 0 stars.

Let me say, the mere fact that I created a yelp account just to leave a review about this place should say it all. 408 E. Washington Blvd., Los Angeles, Ca 90015. Southeast corner of Main and Washington I bought a chicken tostada salad. They only give you ONE creamy cilantro sauce (I guess I should be grateful it was the big one and they actually filled it all the way up) and had the audacity to charge me for another one. Then the pico de gallo was full of tomatoes. NOT ONE ONION, but I may have seen a spec of cilantro. They gave me two of those and two verde sauces. They refused to sub a creamy cilantro sauce for the damn near can of tomatoes and verde sauce. Oh, if you're curious, it's 40cents +tax for an extra sauce. And not one napkin. RIDICULOUS!!!

We got coupons from here and decided to go on a whim last night and just go thru the drive they and eat some loco chicken with tortillas. First, you can only use one coupon at a time. We wanted to use the $5 queso fresco tostada bowl and $10 whole chicken coupons. Only one allowed. We ended up using yg the $10 chicken and got the tostada bowl anyway. We went through the drive-thru and it was maybe around 8ish. They ran out of white meat chicken. Ugh. So they gave us all dark meat. They forgot to pack us tortillas. Now, I used to love El Pollo Loco, me and my fam ate it all the time when I was a kid and for me at least, wrapping the chicken in the tortilla makes the whole meal! And no white meat? Let down. The queso fresco tostada wasn't bad - for being fast food. Came with beans and rice and some chicken and a crispy tostada shell. I opted for the creamy cilantro dressing. Not bad. There was weird bone? Or I don't know? Something scapula-y looking in my tostada. Maybe it's the fast food process of chicken? Beats me. I didn't eat the chicken pieces meal. My BF did. They didn't look too bad. They looked slightly dry and one in particular looked dinosaur spine-y boney. All in all if I don't blame them for running out of chicken - since it was late...however the tortillas were missing -- let me remind you again that that's what makes the whole meal -- it wasn't bad while eating it. But if you're used to eating super healthy and clean, give it a few hours and you will know you ate fast food. That being said, like all fast food...in the spur of a moment or whimsical whim, you would probably do it again since that idea will entice you.

I just bought a Double Chicken Tostada salad and while I started to eat it the lettuce was wilted. Who knows how old this salad was. Not good. This be my last time I eat at this place. Look at the stars just 1.5 very bad. Veronica sold it to me she knew it was old but sold it to me anyway. I bet the Manager tells the workers to do this. Hope I do not get sick.

I asked for rice and I got mac and cheese Then I asked for a vitamin water for the drink and they didn't have any, so I got a sprite , this drink was flat no flavor at all... employees should check the soda machines once in awhile

It's always busy at this location. Which is a good thing right? Wrong! It's NOT under staffed, because there's a lot of people in back. Idk how they don't move the in person line and drive thru quicker. Came here during my lunch break because I was craving a certain plate. Ordered that along with my coworkers orders. Got our drinks ready while patiently waiting for my # to be called, helped organize the drink and salsa area because it was a mess and I couldn't help it, and then they called my number. It wasn't till then, that they notified me that the rest of my big order was ready EXCEPT, my certain plate, because they "ran out". No sorry, just a "is there another combo you want". I said no, that's what I came for, why couldn't they tell me this when I ordered. Lady that handled me the rest of order just went towards register to give me a refund. Again, no sorry or nothing, just moving on. This has happened to me here twice already, third time is not happening. Just making the extra trip to go to another one now.

I placed an app order for pick up from the location on Washington Blvd. in Los Angeles on my 30 min lunch break. This should have been a quick in and out, but when I arrived the restaurant was under remodel and only drive thru was open. I was directed to wait in a very long drive-thru line that would have exceeded my lunch break. I called the location to cancel my order and was told to contact the Corporate Office for my $8.75 refund. I raced back to work and emailed the Corp office. One week later still no refund. Today I called Corporate and was "assisted" by a young lady who said she found my email from the prior week and would submit the refund request - someone from Corporate would review and call me. I have serious doubts about their process....

I visited your location 12 times in the last two weeks to try to get a wing lovers and the exact response that I get every single time at different times of day when there is absolutely no one in line is, "we don't have any of our lovers at the moment. That strike one. Just close down at this point. Finally give in an order for orders of chicken to see if it would equate to the amount that a lover would give me and guess what, it did! You're selling your customer Short and telling lies because you're trying to save money. Strike three, the spicy avocado salsa is absolutely disgusting. It taste as if someone poured a bottle of water and mix a green food coloring together. If you're not going to use the correct ingredient or follow Instructions to make the ingredient, you need to close down. That is not safe. And I will be following a report with the health department as well. That is unacceptable. I've been eating El Pollo Loco I've never taste spicy avocado salsa as bad as this one. I'm 35 years old.

This is the second time going and I AM DONE. I ordered 2 bean and cheese burrito with chicken. There was no cheese first of all and I found these chicken bones on EACH burrito that I am already pay $10 for . It's just sharp like I don't want to bite into my food and find this or have someone get hurt over this. The food quality/prep is disappointing. I thought I'd give it a second chance but I couldn't be satisfied.

Well what can I say , this place needs to clean house ! Every time I come here they either mess up my order and give me attitude or I just get poor customer service . They don't greet you they just take your money and practically throw the food at you ! They really need to change managers and re train all employees or hire new staff . Word of advice to the cashier , if you don't like your job find something else . You guys are a disappointment.

Just went to this pollo loco and MANAGER got my order wrong and didn't want to do anything about it. She told us in many ways it was our fault and not hers when we definitely said order right. She didn't offer anything at all. On top of that they charged my card 3 times! Customer service is TRASH. Not customers fault this is the job YOU CHOOSE.

I got my order started checking it and I told the lady I only got 2 creamy cilantros and I should be receiving 4 she the says "there is 3 in that bag" I checked again and nothing she got mad because I was asking for something I was suppose to get from the start then she only put 2 guacamole containers and I have 5 orders. It's not adding up. So I ask her if I could have more than just the two and she hands me one more. Then I tell her I have 5 different orders that's not even one for each one. She gets more mad. The customer service is awful, They can't even make food the right way and follow simple instructions. I clearly read the menu and the ingredients in a burrito and they decided to put whatever they feel like putting on it. I ask why my items has the wrong ingredients and they told me that every pollo loco is different and they make food according to the store. Sounds like lies. They gave me a new burrito and gave me leftover chicken pieces drenched with chipotle sauce. Worst pollo loco. No one cares and employees do as they wish

Seriously this is the second time I pulled up to the establishment to order through the drive thru and seen rats near the ordering area and then remembered why I stopped coming I am completely grossed out as to why I'm seeing rats near the back exit on two different occasions and it's been months. I'm so disappointed el pollo loco is one of my favorites places to eat at but I cannot go here and see rats and feel comfortable to even eat here at this location ever again in life ! I wish I would have taken pictures because the rat was looking me right in my eyes after it hid in a little black box along side the el pollo loco wall. I hate to leave such a bad review but please do better as maintaining a business

This place is a shit hole. I wish I had taken pictures! The empty tables hadn't been wiped down. There is chicken, napkins, crumbs, and food ALL OVER the floor. We were there for 45 min and only after my boyfriend said something about the floors, someone came to sweep. And did a terrible job at it. They made my burrito wrong and when my boyfriend brought it up to have it remade, her waited 10 minutes for the General Manager to come speak with him, and she ended up hiding in her office and sent the assistant manager out instead. The General Managers name is Jasmine and she doing a terrible job managing.

Update: make sure you check your tortillas. This place is notorious for giving you corn when you ask for flour! I get to Pollo Loco around 1:20pm and the line is out to the parking lot near Payless Shoes. It winds slowly and I placed my order. I specifically asked for guacamole and pico de gallo when I paid. I got my order, checked the bag...no pico de gallo. I asked again and I was told they didn't have any. Ok. No problem. I get home, open the container and I find corn tortillas...I asked for flour. f**** this place!

And this why I don't think fast food workers deserve a $15 minimum wage, can't read a piece of paper. I ordered a chicken tostada with no cheese and beans and they still added it on... What is so hard NO CHEESE and NO BEANS!!! What's so HARD... I mean if you can read then you should do something about this.. This is not a mistake get it right workers do your job correctly I understand the frustrations but do it right. Many of you are saying why didn't I return it the reason simply because there was so many people waiting for their order many of them were disgusted and displeased when they were giving out orders. They need management to step in and talk to the employees.

What a horrible experience.. I arrived to this location at 8:30 and all the doors were closed. Strange because the business dining room hours state the restaurant closes at 9:00pm. A customer from the inside let me and another person in. As soon as we walked in the workers Claudia and Francisco didn't look to happy that we came in, and this is not an assumption because both employees looked at each other and rolled their eyes. It was 8:31 and I was standing at the counter. Not one person greeted myself or the other customer. Finally at 8:37 I asked is anyone going to attend to us. Francisco stated oh we are closed and no longer taking orders. I said but the sign says it closes at 9pm. He said well we are short staffed. I said really and asked to speak to a manager. He said I am the manager. I said interesting where is your name tag? I said so you're not going to take my order he said no. I said ok let me have the number to corporate because this is unacceptable. And he refused to take my order. Terrible, never will I go to this location

I've never eaten inside just been through the drive-thru to grab lunch. They now have a person outside to take your order during the lunch rush in an effort to expedite the line as the parking lot here is crazy-town. They also newly remodeled and it looks really nice from the outside at least. I tried the new Mexican Cobb salad and it was actually very tasty. Especially for $7! Good amount of chicken and I love their creamy cilantro dressing. I'll be getting this again for sure. The staff were all friendly but people do tend to walk up to the car asking for money.

Newly remodeled. Really nice! Why doesn't this location come up on my phone? I searched and double searched, but it doesn't come up.... so I can't check in!??!? I was just there and got my FREE torta! With $10 purchase. It was REALLY good! I loved the soft bread and it was huge. The chicken is chopped up, not one piece and the lettuce is chopped up too, so it kind of falls out, no big deal, it's fresh and the soft bread is like toasty on the outside. It has refried beans, just enough, avocado, a lot! Pico and garlic aioli. I got it w/o the pico and aioli, I wanted my Gman to taste it too, he doesn't like onions mayo-y sauces. I loaded up on "house" salsa (no onions) and it was still hot when I got home! Anyway, this is an efficient El Pollo Loco, I stop in when I'm at the .99c store. The people are friendly, the remodel is nice, it's clean and quick. I'm in and out and they always get it right. I skip the drive thru and go inside, so I can get the green avocado sauce from the "salsa bar"! YUMMM!!! And extra wet naps! Love it!

This is the worst pollo loco I have ever been to. The chicken was disgusting and wasn't fresh it tasted old. The double chicken salad was tasteless and wasn't fresh either. The workers are so uninterested in what they are doing. My table was dirty and when I asked for a table wipe they copped an attitude. They don't greet you or thank you for spending your money there not to mention it's not cheap at all it's expensive as hell and you get garbage. I will never eat at this location again. Do not recommend this place to anyone. I can only imagine how dirty they are.

Oh and they are always out of something by 630(lunch time) today it was avocado salsa and a week ago, chicken. Seriously, CHICKEN! Go somewhere else. Don't waste your lunch time and money.

I used drive thru, I bought a chicken chipotle burrito, The description on the pollo loco website says: We combine your choice of our signature fire-grilled chicken or Baja Shrimp with hand-sliced avocado, cool sour cream, house-made chipotle salsa, shredded cheese, simmered beans, rice and crunchy cabbage, all wrapped in a flour tortilla. Well.... The tortilla was cold There was NO chipotle salsa Only a couple of small avocado pieces on one side of the burrito NO cheese the chicken was cold And the drive thru took more than 15 mins Train your cook PROPERLY or pay them more, maybe that's why the perform poorly.
