Google
Right in the heart of Calle Ocho. Perfect place to stop by for delicious bites and a drink. They were super accommodating to our pup which was nice. The nachos were my favorite but everything we ordered had delicious flavor. If you want something quick & easy, this is your spot.

Google
I placed my order at the bar counter, then was asked to pay in advance, I chose to pay by card. No one asked how much I wanna to tip, the waitress immediately charged 18% and told me to pay by card. I saw it only on the bill, and I should be the one deciding how much I wanted to tip for a Tacos 40min waiting for food, that took 5min to eat. Good thing I ordered a beer while I waited..

Google
Really happy with the quality of food, speed of service and the price. We were looking for a place to eat during our visit to Little Havana, and this place was just on the street with a great atmosphere and good pricing!

Google
I haven’t been to eight street in years. Has definitely become more of a tourist area and the foot traffic is not what I expected. For a Saturday midday, parking was a little challenging and if you don’t mind walking a little then it’s no big deal. Came in for lunch and was empty upon arrival about 1pm. Ordering process typical walk up counter. Food brought to the table. I got the Chichen tacos and my friend got the quesadilla. The tacos are soft, only option. No hard shell. Tasty but may not be filling for those who are big eaters. A little on the small side for the price. No chips included, must be ordered separately if you want. The place appeared clean and visually appealing. Open air inside, was cool and comfortable.

Google
Probably my worse uber delivery ever, I got two quesadillas polo, they add Parmesan cheese to divert the flavor of the old chicken, absolutely disgusting! Not effort of melting the cheese, if I could I would give them a 0!

Google
Amazing tacos! Highly recommend this place. Authentic taste and quality for the money. I will visit this place every time I’m in town.

Google
They advertise buy 3 get 3 free tacos on Tuesdays but when I got there, he said to disregard what the menu says and it’s buy 2 get 1 free and the free one has to be Al pastor, chicken or mojo pork. We got 6 tacos and one margarita freeze and the bill came up to $46. They also charge 18% service fee for idk what because it’s not a sit at table server take care of you type of thing. And the tacos were MID. The tacos worth $3 at most with how small they are. Trust me, this place won’t have to worry about me ever again. First time and last time.

Google
I ordered the fried calamari at El Santo restaurant and was really disappointed. It just tasted like something fried — I couldn’t even tell it was supposed to be calamari. No flavor, no texture that resembled squid. On top of that, the portion was tiny — barely enough for two people. Definitely not worth the price

Yelp
Stopped in real quick while walking little Havana. We went in and ordered a Mojito which was made right in front of us while we waited. The mojito was fresh, and full of flavor. Fresh mint, delicious lime, perfect amount of rum, what a delicious stop and a refreshing treat. Staff was super friendly and the vibe was fantastic.
google avatar

Priscilla L.

Yelp
The vibe and decor are the main show stopper! The food was disappointing. I ordered 3 tacos of regular beef and everything was cold and there were no other people in there so I was confused but it was decent hangover food!

Yelp
Late night Mexican. I got two different types of tacos. El pastor as well as the mushroom and beans. Both were incredible and much better than I'd expect at the late hour. Service was straightforward. Order at the cashier and grab a table. Very casual. Come as you are. I'd recommend and return! Prices weren't too bad either.

Eduardo M.

Yelp
Great taco spot. Service was fast and the food quality was on point. Had the Trio Tacos. Pork Ribs, Carne Asada, and Al Pastor. All three were good but I liked the Al Pastor best. The atmosphere being open to the street was great as you felt connected to the vibe of the street. I would visit again. This was not so much a tourist trap. Just honest to goodness food to get you in and out to enjoy the other features along Calle 8.

Yelp
This place is a gem! Great service and open late, was open even after midnight! Very flavorful eats. I had a pineapple Jarritos, elote in a cup and a delicious "one pound burrito" with beef, guac rice and beans. The burrito was nothing short of succulent. The corn had a nice tang to it. Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
I was walking around this area and decided to stop by for some Mexican food and I have to say, I'm thoroughly impressed. I wanted something light, so I tried the skinny burrito which uses a jalapeño tortilla!!! I was able to customize what protein I wanted to add and I chose pollo al pastor. What a great choice! Every bite was so flavorful with each and every topping it had. It was quick to order at the front and servers brought the order to the table shortly after. I also appreciate that it didn't feel hot inside even though all the doors were wide open and it was 90 degrees outside. It was nice cooling off here!
google avatar

Yelp
The fish tacos were amazing!! They had so much crunch and flavor...beyond satisfied! They only had regular margaritas which were pretty strong (that's a good thing) and mine was rimmed with tajin. Cool little, open spot.

Yelp
Set in the touristy heart of Calle Ocho by galleries of Viernes Culturales, El Santo Taqueria provides a spot to satisfy your taco cravings. It's supposedly owned by the same group that runs Kiki and Gramercy; I believe there's even a speakeasy lounge to Santo but my experience was average. The logistics are that you order at the counter, and the food is brought to your table. I started with a generic bottle of white wine (Seaglass?) and ordered both chips and salsa, as well as their el pastor pork burrito. The wine was chilled and a little dry, so no big complaints. Likewise, the chips had a good crisp, and the salsa a mild bite. However, unlike how it used to be, the chips aren't complementary. My main was their Burrito al Pastor, and I will admit it had a nice amount of pork and fixings in it.

Yelp
This taco spot in Little Havana serves some of the best tacos around, especially their **crispy fish and shrimp tacos** -- truly a must-try! Their **gorditas** and **quesadillas** are equally delicious, offering rich, authentic flavors in every bite. The **drink selection**, including mixed cocktails, perfectly complements the food. With its welcoming vibe and top-tier dishes, this place is a must-visit for anyone craving an authentic taco experience!

Yelp
Great place when you walking around Calle ocho we stop by just to grab something to snack and drinks are good services good ambience great you right there where everything's happening when I come back to Miami we'll return I must check out

Yelp
El Santo in Little Havana a Taqueria adding to the flavor. I simply just love it try Esquites and I heard the Santo Tostones are Awesome! Be ready to walk down here every you go it's a Yelpers paradise. Outstanding service everywhere and the night life is Cuban Vegas. Search your vibes here with Tacos and Cigars you will never go wrong. That is all. Chief You always need to learn how to fail so that you can learn not to fail again.
google avatar

Yelp
The guacamole was terrible-it was sour. To us it tasted like avocado with lime juice. The skinny burrito was ok but it tasted pretty generic. Birria tacos were very oily/greasy, but the flavor wasn't terrible. Esquites were the best part-was quite good. Way over priced for what you get.
google avatar

Yelp
The food is amazing. The service is amazing. The ambience is great out here at night.

Yelp
Bad guacamole, average tacos, very overpriced , not coming back. I was expecting better but failed

Yelp
As a Yelper I often fall into the trap of not going some place with less than 4 stars, but I'm glad I pushed myself past the discomfort with that yellow star color and gave this spot a shot to decide for myself! First, you can't help but get swept up in the immersive and intricate interior decor of the restaurant. From the little touches like the beautiful, colored and patterned tiling on the walls to the bigger swings of Luchadore heads and devilish cathedral motifs (the bathroom is labeled "Confession"), I was very entertained by the creativity and snarky humor on display. As for the food, I was able to eat the "Veggie Taco" and found the sweet potato base and assorted peppers a great combo. The white corn tortilla adds an additional subtle flavor in the background. The green salsas on top round out the flavors nicely. The "Elote Bowl" was so good! Tangy and cheesy, it tasted fresh and came out fast!

Yelp
Been seeing this place for the past 5-6 years, and being from SoCal, I'm normally skeptical when considering a new taco shop/restaurant. After an evening at Ball and Chain, we decided to finally give this place a try. It was an extreme disappointment when it came to the food. The ambiance is cool, you'll see luchadores masks on the wall, fill with their images and dia de los muertos decorations. Back to the food, we order the 1 LB Burro with carne asada. They should just disclose, it will be 1 lb of rice, with ta few strands of meat, because that's what it was. Even then, 1lb, is an overstatement, the burrito is tiny, Chipotle burritos are bigger in size and flavor. It was bland/plain and overpriced. Needless to say, I have not been missing anything for the past 5-6 years. Sad, because I love a good Mexican meal.

Yelp
I am a taco lover and this place hits the spot! Affordable tacos that taste amazing and is right in the action of 8th street. I got the al pastor tacos and they were so good especially when you're a little tipsy and need something to absorb all the alcohol. Definitely hitting this spot again when i'm craving tacos.
google avatar

Yelp
There's limited parking on the streets, but they also have a parking lot in the back. Service was not as efficient as I wanted. It was actually slow. The food was delicious, but it took a long time for us to get it.
google avatar

Jorge A.

Yelp
Clean business and employees of friendly. Stopped here for a snack and it was nice. Prices were reasonable.
google avatar

Naivy A.

Yelp
The food was gross and cold... wow... i can't say no more. I'm only giving 2 stars because i liked the nachos, only. I will forever be honest with my reviews.
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Great casual happy hour spot! Unfortunately we were already full so we didn't get to order any food. This spot is right on the main streets of Little Havana and offers some great ice cold drinks. Tables are self seated and you order your drinks at the counter. We stopped by after seeing someone with one of these drinks. Not disappointed at all! They get additional stars bc you can lowkey take these out with you

Yelp
Ok the place doesn't look too appealing from the outside but the food is great. I had the carne asada burrito and it was awesome I highly recommend it. Ifnyounarenlooking foe Mexican bar food this is the place
google avatar

Yelp
I had the 1 pound mojo pork burrito and it was VERY good. The people I was with did not like the pastor very much but I highly recommend the mojo pork. **18 percent gratuity is added at purchase**
google avatar

Yelp
I went a few days ago and ordered a meat quesadilla, my employee ordered another one and two bottles of water. each quesadilla cost $13 (no problem with that) the 12 oz water bottles were $3.50 each, I asked her if she if had a bigger one she said no and a service charge of $7 when that is a that is a fast food place informal where there is no waiter to serve you, when I was processing the payment with the cashier they ask me if I want to leave a tip and the options were 22%, 25% and 30%. The owner wants the customers to pay the chefs' payroll... I don't recommend this place to anyone. I wish chipotle open a new location on that street
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
This place was so cool and fun to be at. The frozen beverages came out quick, the ambiance was so unique (and mildly offensive if you're still a practicing/super religious Catholic), and the service was great! It's tucked away in Little Havana on the Main Street, and you have got to go! They have indoor and outdoor seating options, and we sat outside (#covid). I would go back in a heartbeat!
google avatar

Miri P.

Yelp
The worst queso fundido ever! Disgusting!!! Really shamefull Tips included without any service Margaritas $17 extra expensive and no quality worthy I will never come back! No respect for Mexican food. A fraud place!
google avatar

Isamar C.

Yelp
Sad to say I've been back a few times in the past months and the food and quality is not what it used to be. So very disappointed.
google avatar

Anthony D.

Yelp
I'm being completely honest when I say this; The steak quesadilla from Taco Bell is a hundred times better than this one. There was literally like nothing inside it and it just tasted like I was eating a tortilla. If I can share the photo of it I will. Tacos were eh, lacked flavor. Being from Chicago I eat a LOT of Mexican food as it's probably the top 5 most popular cuisines there. The one saving grace was their guacamole, which was kinda good. Won't order again, don't really recommend.
google avatar

Daniela M.

Yelp
There are only like 5 tables. Kinda impossible to sit. The place is pretty and very decorated.
google avatar

Brian B.

Yelp
Stopped here for some small bites and frozen drinks while walking around Calle Ocho. One of the better places for drink prices on the street, and the bartenders are quick and friendly. I highly recommend even if you are grabbing your drinks "to go".
google avatar

Julio C.

Yelp
We had a big table and many different orders. The last two took forever. At least 10 different online orders came out before our order came out. They are probably priority, still not very well managed. A guy made the line 20 minutes after and he got his food before we did. The food is great, but customer service from the main guy last Saturday night was trash. We felt intentionally excluded.

Linda T.

Yelp
I am a Taco connoisseur and the Mojo Pork Taco is one of the best I have ever had. All of the Tacos are superb and the mushroom quesadilla is to die for. Don't skimp and get the half Elote because you will just end up going back for the other half. Service was friendly and helpful. Go here now.

Jennifer V.

Yelp
Pricy, small but good food! Loud music, only starts at like 2 am. Service is great! Great latin songs
google avatar

Bertha M.

Yelp
The drinks are good but the food isn't great. We tried tacos de carne asada, tostones, and esquite (corn in a cup). The tostones were the best out of the 3 plates... the tacos had grocery store tortillas that were not heated properly and the esquite was the smallest portion I've seen for $6. Come during happy hour and enjoy the delicious drinks but save your money for one of the other restaurants in the area.
google avatar

Jennifer G.

Yelp
We had just eaten at Mofongo and were walking by when we ran into this gem. The quirky decoration and music is what got us in the door. And the drinks and happy hour is what made us stay!!! This is honestly one of the best happy hours I have seen in Miami in a while. $4 frozen drinks until 9pm. And boy were they strong!!! I was so full from dinner and I still got tipsy from just one drink!!! We ordered the Paloma - we definitely recommend this drink. Very strong and not too sweet (margarita was wayyyy too sweet). They let you try all of the frozen drinks so ask them to try it before committing. The presentation of the drinks were also super cute. We really enjoyed having them outside. We didn't try the food but looks good from the pictures. They have 3 dollar taco specials on taco Tuesday so will def come for that once this covid craziness is over. Definitely recommend - especially if you are looking to pregame before going to ball/chain which has SUPER expensive drinks!!
google avatar

Yelp
If I could give O starts I would. Actually, the frozen mojito is the only thing that gets a star in my opinion. We were visiting Miami and decided to stop by this place because I had been here before for drinks with my family and liked the vibes. Well three years later.... I wanted to stop by again but we decided to get food this time. Very Very different experience. The tacos were absolutely boring and BLAH!!!!!!! Not good at all. We ordered chicken and el pastor because carne asada (steak) is not included in the Taco Tuesday Deal LOL (B2G1) mind you, it doesn't say anything on the menu and the male bartender simply forgot to mention this to us until I specifically said "we're doing the Taco Tuesday Deal". Tuesday, 9/20/22 male bartender also failed to give us silverware and napkins the ENTIRE time we were there. He literally watched us grab TINY DRINK napkins from the bar but didn't bother giving us any. My boyfriend also asked the male bartender for some salsa, which he then replied "like hot sauce? We have some spicy Mayo " and gives us no salsa for our "nachos" which my boyfriend enjoys and it's a Mexican restaurant. As we look at the menu and read the item "chips and salsa" we become even confused as to why he acted liked they had no salsa. Some time goes by we turn around looking at the masks on the wall behind us and notice a table with extra salsa ... on the side.... The nachos, were absolutely TRASH. Extremely small amount, extra $6 for steak... and let me tell you, THERE WAS NO STEAK. Or it was like ground beef "steak" I don't know what it was but sure wasn't any steak. It was the worst nachos we've EVER had. The elote was literally TASTELESS. How do you manage to mess up corn in Mayo & cheese.... Is beyond me. Overall we had a horrible experience and the food was gross and gave us MAJOR STOMACH ACHES. The two shot tequila platter thing was cool. But will never go back. Maybe for a frozen mojito because it's B1G1 2PM-6PM but NEEEEEVER EVER EVER EVER going back for food nor the service. Oh, also 15% was charged for a service fee but the service was NOT GOOD, AT ALL. Like there was NO SERVICE. UGGHH, so extremely annoyed with this place. Ruined our night.
google avatar

Cassie P.

Yelp
Five star decor but the food left a little something to be desired. I came here with a party of four. It's casual so you order/pay at the counter and take a seat at one of the high top tables. Food came super quickly, so it's good if you don't have a lot of time, but also the type of environment where you can feel comfortable hanging out for a bit while sipping on some frozen sangria or beer. This preggo opted for a mandarin Jarrito soda which was tasty, as well. We tried the guac, lots of different salsas from their salsa bar, al pastor and carne asada tacos, and esquites. The guac wasn't bad but not as chunky as I prefer. A salsa bar is usually a highlight for me but the three we tried lacked ton of flavor... I found myself reaching for the hottest "diablo" variety just to get any hint of spice. As for the tacos, I feel like the meat had promise but both versions came drenched in salsa so any flavor was masked and they were soggy. Thankfully, the tortilla still held it all together but it was mushy. The esquites had some good flavor with a subtle spice, but were also really watery. Like I said, I dig the vibe and want to try the frozen sangria sometime. That being said, there's lots of competition in the area for quality Mexican and would say this is where they fall flat.
google avatar

F B.

Yelp
Careful of this place they add a "service fee" to orders and when you ask what it's for they don't have a straight answer they kinda just wave their hands and expect you to just agree to it plus I've heard that they don't really use mahi mahi in the beer battered fish tacos even though it says mahi mahi
google avatar

Notoya S.

Yelp
Walked into this establishment while strolling around Calle Ocho and I am so glad I did; I was not disappointed & I probably had the best tacos I had in my MIA life, they were amazing. The tacos was so freshly baked and soft, I couldve eaten them by themselves; I had the chicken and beef tacos which were seasoned well and garnished with all kinds of goodness . Also loved the play on a church decor because the food was divine.
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
Ordered the Al Pastor Tacos and Esquites. The tacos were very Tex Mex. Didn't really like it that much. The esquites were very good! Would def recommend that. Service was very quick and friendly staff!
google avatar

Yelp
Great time to have lunch! Everything came out fresh and full of flavor. We ordered from their Specialties, an Esquite (my favorite) 5.99, which is charred corn off the cobb, spicy mayo, mexican cream, cilantro, and a slice of lime. We also ordered a cheese quesadilla from their quesadilla categorie 10.00 and last but not least, antojitos to share, nachos 8.00 which comes with nacho cheese sauce, refried black beans, yellow corn, pico de gallo, cojita cheese, mexican crema, cilantro, sliced jalapeños but (we decided to remove those) with no protein which you can add. They have chicken, al pastor, pork, and carne asada as protein additional options. We paired everything with two jarritos pineapple and mandarin. Everything was great. Even though im born and raised in Miami florida, and from the heart of calle ocho, it's nice to be around tourists, the latin hustlers, and the salsa music! Love love love it here
google avatar

Yelp
This review is specific to the bar/speakeasy, Don Diablo (although I do wanna come back and try the food). This spot is super fun and a solid choice if you're looking for some weekend fun. I came on a whim with some friends and glad I did because I had a great time. It's really spacious and open inside. The music is really good and they play a mix of different genres, mainly reggaeton. The bottle girls were friendly and accommodating as well. Their kitchen is also open late which is cool after a night of drinking. The only reason I docked a star is because the hookah is $100? That's pretty unreasonable even for Miami.
google avatar

Daniel G G.

Yelp
I am in Miami for a conference and of course, wanted to visit Calle 8. There was an opportunity to go on Tuesday after work and I wondered if there would be a place to celebrate Taco Tuesday. Some friends recommended El Santo. As we approached the counter we could see signs for several weekly specials and there was one for Taco Tuesday. "Tres Por Dos" (Three for Two). The sign doesn't say but carne asada is not included. It was a bit hard to understand what the young lady at the register was saying. Although the music is nice it was a bit loud at the counter. She seems nice but intense, which threw me off for a bit. I ordered two Mojo (Pollo) Marinated, Onions, Pico De Gallo, Mexican Slaw, Mild Habanero Sauce. Served with Four tortilla and topped with cilantro and one Beer Battered Fish, Pico de Gallo, Mexican Slaw, Onions, Chipotle Vinaigrette, I think they were $4 each There are a variety of drinks, I ordered a Jarritos. It's a great place to stop and enjoy the ambiance, the feel of Little Habana and the eye candy. The only reason I gave it four stars is because I felt the tortillas could stand to be on the grill a bit longer. I don't like soggy tortillas and I could have used a spicier salsa. Other than that totally worth the stop!!!
google avatar

Marcela P.

Yelp
Honestly the food is mediocre and overpriced but the drinks and music are great! I would recommend to go for a fun night out but maybe skip the food!

Yelp
We were pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this place while in the search for a good taco Tuesday deal. I had been wanting to try something new outside of our normal spots and the combo of the aesthetics of this place and sign outside reading $3 tacos $5 margaritas really intrigued us. There wasn't a lot of seating inside but luckily we arrived prior to the rush; however, on our way out there was no seating. The taco Tuesday sign is a joke because 1 taco is $3 for the "special" but a normal order is 2 and cost $7. I guess a dollar is better than nothing. When we approached the counter to order, one of the cashiers was very rude. She did not acknowledge us although no one else was in the place. She finally looked at us and rolled her eyes when we tried to order as well as when someone asked what would she recommend. We finally had to place orders with another lady at the counter. The food came out really quickly and was full of flavor. Our favorites were the shrimp, carne asada and short rib. The did mess up our order but we weren't too concerned with going up to correct it because of the attitudes behind the counter. We explored the salsa bar and there were so many options from salsa verde to diablo. The guacamole was disgusting! The appearance itself looked like it came out of a frozen bag and then defrosted in water. It wasn't the correct green, almost looked lime and was extremely watery. We couldn't even eat it! Overall, it was a decent option.

Thiago G.

Yelp
I ordered the Nutella churros. It was NOT nutella. It was a cheap chocolate spread but def NOT nutella.
google avatar

Alma M.

Yelp
Fast service and really good margaritas! I came on a Monday night and it wasn't busy. Located right in the middle of the nightlife of Calle 8. Will come back again and try other things on the menu.

Shannon C.

Yelp
Utter garbage. Missing 3 tacos Al pastor from our order. One random mound of mystery meat with a damp tortilla thrown in a box instead. My quesadilla was so dry it flaked apart and was chicken instead of steak. Their pictures online are a complete deception. Worst food I think I have EVER had. $40 worth of food thrown right out. Disgusting.
google avatar

Annie B.

Yelp
They don't honor the Taco Tuesday promotion NOR do they honor the Happy Hour drink specials. The girls at the register act as if they're clueless - and so those are old promotions!
