"South Bay spot El Segundo Brewing Company has closed their taproom, but you can still order beer from Slice & Pint, their pizza shop around the block. Their Clear AF is a good West Coast IPA - piney, resin-y, and crisp - and the Casa Azul is a very drinkable, deep amber Mexican-style lager. Pre-order via their website for in-store pick-up, Wednesday-Sunday." - brett keating

The service, ambiance, and beer were all great. The staff were friendly when we were deciding which beer to order. There were so many great options and they were helpful when I asked for a recommendation. It was a chilly day in El Segundo but they had the heaters turned on and there were still a lot of people out enjoying the beer. Overall, great experience and I would return.

Google
Loved this off the beaten path diamond in the rough, urban/chic micro brewery with many amazing local draft beers to choose from! Very nice staff. I loved the T-Shirts but at $30 a pop, I could only get two! lol. Also loved the “buy a beer for a friend” chalk board! VictorB

Google
First visit to El Segundo Brewing Company. They have a great selection of beers and a good food menu. Cool atmosphere and definitely a locals spot. The beer was great and reasonably priced. Grabbed some stickers and they also have some other merch if interested. Service was great. Might have to wait a little on busy days or nights....but it's worth it!

Google
Great little spot. Beer only. The Reds are good and I had the Mulberry as well. Good bodied IPA, a mellow IPA not too happier. Good crowd and staff to help on your tasting journey. Food trucks across the street for you to sit and have a meal with your grog.

Google
It’s a good brewery inspired by WWF wrestler Steve Austin and his signature move - skull crush. Had skull crush lager, which was nice, though it lacked crispness of brewery lager but better than usual bars commercial lagers. Brewery is designed nice with all awards they’ve won and plenty of Steve Austin’s photos.

Google
I stumbled in here by accident not realizing it was THE EL SEGUNDO BREWING COMPANY. I have always wanted to visit here and drink some of Stone Cold Steve Austin's beer and it did not disappoint. Furthermore, the food truck they had in April for steak and cheese sandwiches was delicious! A must if you are visiting LA.

Google
Great spot for a beer or 3. Dinning options close by as well. Lots of tasty IPAs but you gotta have a stout when you're there. Good starting point or finishing depending on your idea of desert.

Slice and a pint!!! Brilliant name. Delicious pizza and the salad dressing on the simple salad was amazing! I want the recipe! Great vibe and chill atmosphere.

Yelp
Love this spot!! Don't be fooled by the exterior, the taproom is downstairs and there's it's amazing space with lots of seating. The outdoor space is super aesthetic and they have a selection of food trucks that come by too! You can check their schedule on their website. I love the vibe and ambiance here and there's also plenty of televisions for game watching.

Yelp
You know that feeling when you walk into a place and are like, I've been here before. Oddly enough both times were on birthday bar crawls. I highly recommend stopping in El Segundo Brewing, even if you're not sure if you've been there before. They have a great selection of beers, knowledgeable bar tenders, and an indoor/outdoor seating area. If you're hungry then check out back as there's usually a food truck right outside their back patio.

Yelp
El Segundo Brewing Steve and I had the experience of having one of their signature beers , the Broken Skull IPA. Apparently designed by Steve Austin and has three kinds of hops which are Citra, Chinook and Cascade hops. Smooth, piney, clean and light this IPA isn't a bad one. Perhaps not the most unique I have come across nor the most experimental which is what I am always desiring when tasting and trying out breweries but it isn't a bust by any means either.

Kirk J.

Yelp
It's Always an AWESOME time I wouldn't mind working there to learn more about breweries and how they work.

Terrilynn O.

Yelp
Great beer selection and tasty beers, great service (thank you, Rich), nice ambiance, very welcoming. Dog friendly!

Jessica G.

Yelp
You've probably seen El Segundo Brewing Company's beers in grocery and liquor stores and that's because they have solid beers. Their menu leans more heavily on the IPAs, but I guarantee there is a beer for everyone there. My two favorites are their Citra Pale Ale and Mayberry IPA. Unlike most breweries that are located within industrial areas, El Segundo Brewing is within the heart of downtown El Segundo which allows you to hop around to different restaurants or enjoy El Segundo's Farmer's Market on Thursdays! They normally have a food truck each day in the back, so make sure to grab a bite to eat. Pictured here is a delicious fried chicken sandwich from Lower Case Deli Hot tip: They have solid staples always on their menu, but keep an eye out for limited releases on their menu if you're looking to try something new and exciting. Yelp
As a home brewer, recovering bartender, and beer aficionado I'd like to say I know my stuff. El Segundo Brewing consistently has the best beer in the South Bay, and arguably Los Angeles. Ranging from strong, danky, IPAs to more subtle American lagers, to an array of different styles that change with the seasons. You have a sweet beer garden patio option, and then the choice to sit indoors at the bar when weather is less than stellar. They don't have a kitchen, but they have an eclectic rotation of food trucks that can satisfy your cravings. If you don't like the food truck option, you're on Main Street, walk a block or two and you'll find whatever it is you're looking for.

Yelp
My absolute favorite local brewery who makes my absolute favorite ale, Station No. 1, they have a selection to please all palates and their beer just has a fresh taste. It's amazing beer and in my opinion well worth the price. There are cheaper brews but definitely not of the same quality. Supporting a local brewery in my hometown, there nothing better. "Paying patronage to the local businesses is important" was what my father said, ever since I was a kid, and I understand it more than ever now as an adult. I have so many plastic handles from ESBC I really need to recycle them one day. I was collecting cans but I kept ruining the pyramid. Cheers ESBC and Happy holidays to everyone!

Van V.

Yelp
Recently returned on a rainy and cool Friday evening. Jam packed with people ready to start the weekend. A good vibe per usual! Still have a great beer list...IPAs rule. A cool neighborhood craft brewery in a cool town. Nothing fancy. Just happy and hoppy.

Nate B.

Yelp
Great finally to visit the brewery! Have enjoyed the beer in cans and at bars for a long but never made it to the taproom before today, and it did not disappoint.

Kevin H.

Yelp
Great business - and well known too - in the heart of El Segundo. I myself do not drink beer (allergy), but I have come here to either hang out with peeps that can drink beer or to get gift cards for people. Or to get beer to take to people as a gift...always enjoyed my visits and appreciate having this gem in our cute small town.

Jeremy J.

Yelp
This is great beer that I try every time I get a chance. I love all 3 of the Steve Austin Beers and I look forward to trying more when I find more. Definitely go check them out

Patrick D.

Yelp
Awesome beer selections and such a mellow place to relax and beat the heat while enjoying something from the tap!

Mayu H.

Yelp
My nephew introduced me here. We dined there around lunch time and seated outside. I also see someone brings a dog so I can see it's dog friendly. They only offer drinks but there is food truck outside and also they allow us to bring outside food. I had Mayberry and it was so good and I also had something(don't remember) horse? By my nephews recommendation and it was also great. I'm not so much beer drinker anymore so two was enough. Maybe next time I would try sampler. Parking wasn't difficult at all on street. I will definitely visit here again.

Yelp
My visit to El Segundo Brewing Company left a bitter taste due to an unfortunate incident in their tasting room. Despite being there at closing time and missing out on pours, the real disappointment came when witnessing a new mother's celebration night turn sour. She sought a different drink, expressing her dissatisfaction, only to be flatly refused. What followed was even more disheartening - overhearing staff talking negatively about her, both her beer preferences and appearance. This experience cast a shadow on an otherwise decent beer selection. Regrettably, I won't be returning, as the atmosphere created by this incident was one I'd rather not revisit.

Dezmond B.

Yelp
Very good family friendly brewery. Home of Stone Cold Steve Austin's Broken Skull beer. Indoor and outdoor seating to accommodate whatever ambiance you are looking for. Bartenders are attentive and fast with your order. Great meeting place for a date, after work function, or just to grab a beer. They have food vendors pull up and accommodate the foodies if you come hungry but you can also bring your own grub. Highly recommend!

Megan K.

Yelp
I pretty much try to visit every brewery in whatever city I'm in, and this one didn't disappoint. Really cute brewery with outdoor seating and Thursday they had a handmade tortilla food truck. The beers were good and staff was friendly!

Zach S.

Yelp
Local brewery. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Outdoor has heaters for when it gets cold(cold for SoCal). Inside has some music usually playing and 4 TVs playing various content, which you can request be changed to what you wish to enjoy Nice tap list. Usually 20 or so on tap, mostly IPAs which is why I like ESBC. Some doubles, sometimes triples and the occasional quad. They usually have some ales and lagers and even a rice lager which is pretty good if you want something lighter. I'm partial to the IPAs so they have a great selection. Usually some collaborations with other breweries like smog city, three weavers, etc. Wednesday - Sunday they usually have food trucks, the schedule for that is on the website. I always enjoy them but it is food truck $$$$$. The staff is the best part. Very friendly, very attentive, knowledgeable to give you suggestions I if you are unsure or if your favorite seasonal is dry to try another similar one Justin, Rich, and Will are awesome and very attentive, always making sure my glass is full Unlike a lot of other breweries are very clear about when last call is , even coming around to help get you one more drink and close out your tab. They even have cans(4 packs) of some of their brews to go($14 I think at time of this review) which is nice to take some deliciousness home. I'm partial because I like their brews, but definitely a place to visit if you like IPAs that taste complex and delicious. Give them a visit!!

Meg N.

Yelp
Best beer & brewery in Southern California. Not only do we love the beer, but the people and atmosphere is just so friendly. Their beer garden in the back is delightful to hang out in, they always have food trucks in the evenings. We especially love the Mayberry IPA, which is iconic in El Segundo, and an ode to the city, that we all love. They always have an amazing rotation on small batch of craft beers on tap, and cans you can take to go. The Cannes artwork is fantastic! I love the branding of the El Segundo brewery. We've never had a bad experience at the El Segundo brewery. The beer tenders are friendly, knowledgeable, and have an overall great vibe. I love that El Segundo brewery supports other small businesses in the community, and just has so much love for the city of El Segundo. All in all, this is just a great business to support and the beer is so amazing!

Kimberly P.

Yelp
The beer is delicious but go early or be prepared to wait! It's not super kid friendly and it's insanely busy in the afternoon! The beer was great but unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to try many of them. They did have a food vendor on site. I'd love to go back when we can make it closer to noon.

Elias G.

Yelp
Great beers and if you need food usually there's a food truck. Service was great and a chill atmosphere if you want to watch live sports.

Rebecca T.

Yelp
Unassuming store front on Main Street, but very spacious and warm upon entering downstairs. It helps to arrive early (i.e. 12-1 pm on weekends) when it's not too busy. I opted for the Nitro Ned (stout), which was creamy and gentle. I appreciated the staff allowing me to try out a few options before I settled on Nitro Ned! Overall, a spacious brewery that's perfect for enjoying a beer with good company or alone. The open-floor plan connecting indoors to outdoors was much-appreciated during this on-going pandemic. Whether you choose to stay for one drink or multiple, El Segundo Brewing is a pleasant place to be. Definitely go early!

Tom M.

Yelp
Absolutely one of the best breweries in L.A. They have a great selection of beer, and their IPAs are fantastic! While many breweries may have one or two standouts, ESBC has a full roster--each world-class. They stand shoulder to shoulder with the best of places like Ballast Point. Also love the vibe and the outside patio tables. Other than potato chips, no food is served. But they have a rotating list of terrific food trucks parked out back. They also allow you to bring in food from outside--I suggest the excellent pizza from their sister restaurant, Slice and Pint, just two blocks away.

Patrick L.

Yelp
El Segundo Brewing consistently produces an excellent line-up of beer. After trying a few other local breweries, they just don't compare. I'm partial to IPA's and honestly, I've never had a bad one at ESB. Mayberry might be my favorite, but Broken Skull is a close second. As for the brewery, always fast, friendly service. And don't get me started on their pizza joint around the corner - ESB The Slice & Pint (LOVE it!) 5 stars

Tammy S.

Yelp
What a fantastic brewery in darling downtown El Segundo! I love walking in the front door and being faced with a set of stairs and a hallway, it felt very speakeasy without the pretense as everyone seems to be welcome here, no password needed, just a curiosity for how good craft beer is made. We were treated to a tour and even got to meet the patron saint of the place, Ed! There's nothing better than getting to know how what you're drinking was made and to learn about the process from start to tasty end. If you're in need a little hometown love, I suggest you go hang at this amazing brewery and be made to feel at home. When you're ready for some delicious food, don't forget to head up the hill for a tasty bite at Slice & Pint, the sister restaurant! It feels good to support a local brewery that truly believes in community!

Jessica W.

Yelp
Came here by myself on a Wednesday evening the week of thanksgiving while I was staying in el Segundo. I love the outdoor and indoor vibes and they allow dogs. I brought my laptop and did some Christmas shopping and people watched. The beer was delicious and I enjoyed coming here. I just wish there was maybe a food truck or something here to eat but maybe they do on weekends.

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Came after a baseball with others. I didn't know much of the area or place but it's quite the nice spot. A bit of walking after you walk the doors but surely worth it! There is a variety of sitting but can easily see this place getting pack quickly. I got an American Lager and it was alright. I've had better but surely a nice flavor. There was a food truck right outside the barriers. Overall I'd tell people to at least try a drink or two. Nothing wrong with the place but surely just a little under par compare to other breweries I've been to.

Shahen S.

Yelp
Everything I've tried from this brewery is amazing. I've stuck more with their IPAs which have all had great balance and flavor. I highly recommend doing a flight so you can at least get a taste of multiple beers on their menu.

Jim N.

Yelp
Food truck was great Really enjoyed the beer Station red I believe Great service as well

Kenny S.

Yelp
Good brewery with good beers. One of their IPAs was a quad and came in at 13.2% Abv! It sure didn't taste like it and down it went with another beer shortly.

Michael A.

Yelp
If your a wrestling Fan especially of Stone Cold Steve Austin , I think this place is a must. Came here during Wrestlemania weekend and loved the vibe. Check out the pictures below. I had all the broken skulls including the IPAs all were good and smooth.

Fuyme J.

Yelp
Finally opportunity to check this place out. Definitely local joint - it appears everyone knew one another or it was a super friendly crowd. Reservations made online (recommended) because it got steady pretty quick! There is a form to fill in online and within 24 hours they confirm the reservation. Masks require upon entry and cleaning did occur in between every table. Super friendly staff. Check up on regularly. Easy selection of food and snacks. Frankfurter tasty, grilled, and popped when bitten into. Sour dough grill cheese - delicious! Crunchy not overly greasy nor overpowering with the fancy cheese used Mix olives had pits in them but nice bribe and oily taste to change things up. Various bags of kettle chips available - cheddar / bbq for the win! Definitely a place to come back to! Please note they have a 1.5 hour limit and each person with a drink has to have a meal as well. Also not sure how enforced the time limit was as by the time leaving every table was filled up. Enjoy and cheers!

Brandy M.

Yelp
They did even better! From the Sam., hot basement room to a proper open brewery space, ES Brewing has grown a lot! But, don't worry, the beer remains phenomenal! Not a spot to get grub, but for that you can walk down the street to slice and pint.

Joyce T.

Yelp
Go down some stairs and be greeted by many large vats of brewing beer and casks. My faves are the barley wine and casks beers. There is a cooking area of tacos this day. Busy overall. For a small local brewery, there is a wide slection of beers and bottles to choose from.

Eugene S.

Yelp
Awesome place. Great beer selection and local brews. Very social relaxing. Must experience spot if you visit El Segundo.

Takeshi S.

Yelp
Best beer! Very friendly. Good location. Temperature is nice even hot day in California. Good ocean breeze. Many good selection for IPAs.

Joanne R.

Yelp
I've been trying to visit this brewery for awhile now. It's always so busy and I've tried twice before but couldn't wait 2 hours to be seated. Luckily, my husband and I got a table on a weekday and man... there's some good beers here! The bartenders were friendly, the music playing was obnoxiously loud, and the bathrooms were clean. I don't think there was anything I didn't like about this place! Although the taproom is small, it doesn't feel too crowded. There's lots of outdoor seating too but there's a better chance of you getting a spot inside. From experience, they are very busy on weekends. So I'd be ready to wait a little or try and get on a waitlist (if they have one then). I'll definitely make time to come back and try more!

Christina P.

Yelp
Great vibe! Tasty beer, came here for the Hammerland. DOGS WELCOME, in the back patio which is pretty big and were most people hang out.

Crystal H.

Yelp
Fun place to hangout. We brought our two pups and they do indeed have an outside patio area and are extremely dog-friendly! One of the owners was walking around giving pups treats! Super plus plus plus in my book when you are kind towards the fur babies. I saw lots of dogs and lots of families enjoying themselves. The night we went, there was a food stand pop-up just outside the back parking lot - I think it's random and fun. That was helpful for the buzz buzz buzz from the yummy beer selections. What more could we want from a brewery? Dog-friendly, outdoor and indoor seating, fun times? Yes, please. Thank you El Segundo Brewery! Y'all are awesome!

Maria S.

Yelp
Very good beer! Super friendly staff. I like the environment since you can see the whole brewery. Highly recommend if you are looking for a chill place to enjoy a nice cold beer.

Anna L.

Yelp
Pretty chill spot to go get a beer. They have a variety of choices and you can buy a beer case to go. They sometimes have food trucks on certain days. Didn't stay to long but Broken Skull IPA was good.

Kevin L.

Yelp
A pretty chill spot to spend some time with a good group of friends. I came with a friend to change things up from the usual bars we go to and I was happy we found this spot. Parking was pretty easy with street parking down the street. Once walking in, it was poppin'! Tons of locals sitting around, watching the games on TV, and enjoying each others time and the beers. My friend and I got spot at the bar to order our drinks and got some ales and lagrs. This place has an expansive IPA list but not our taste profile. We then found a spot to sit outside where there were a number of tables and high top tables. Beers were good! Liked that they had two sizes for draft beers so you can try a few things. There was a food vendor across the road in the back where it looked like they were making sandwiches but the brewery just had packaged chips. Overall a good time and would come back in the summer but definitely wished they had a some heat lamps in the back.

Glen C.

Yelp
For my 316th Yelp Review...... I dedicate this to one of my favorite wrestlers who I have been a fan of since I was a kid throughout his careers in WCW as "Stunning" Steve Austin, in ECW as "Superstar" Steve Austin, in WWF/WWE as "The Ring Master" and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. On Friday The 13th of November, 2015 ... I was able to actually hang out with Steve as he served me and others some of his very own custom-made Broken Skull IPA beer at El Segundo Brewery!!! The venue itself very much reminds me of a lighter, brighter version of Phantom Carriage in Carson. Parking can be a bitch, but that whole day was worth it. Inside, it is super chill and welcoming from the seats, decoration set up, style, customer service, etc. It felt like I was in a big-ass garage party that was hosted by Stone Cold! I dug how intimate and exclusive the whole event and venue itself felt!!!! Everything was just super chill and laid back while being a great alternative to the Rock & Brews that is next to it. All around, El Segundo Brewery gets 5 stars from me. Thank you to their entire staff and Stone Cold Steve Austin for throwing such an awesome event that introduced me to this place!!!!! :) OHHHH HELLLLLL YEAHHHH!!

Douglas B.

Yelp
Great beers & friendly Staff. Parking is limited but once again the beers are worth it.

Jeanette E.

Yelp
Beer testing flight board is turtle !!! The location is pet friendly. Great beer and a friendly staff. Atmosphere was moderate, everyone were minding their own business and very respectful.

Michael S.

Yelp
Great beers here along with a super chill crowd. Love the combination of indoor and outdoor places to hang out. The bartenders were pretty busy but still took time to say hello while serving so many folks. Great place all in all.

Jonathon C.

Yelp
Had a broken skull IPA but the place is pretty cool and would recommend. No food though

Chris G.

Yelp
If only this place was closer to my house. I found my way here at the suggestion of a friend who lives down the street - LUCKY GUY! The beer list is long and accomplished. They have a few televisions around the area which allows for sports viewing, on this night we watched the Warriors beat the Spurs. If you like IPA beers, this place will connect with your taste buds. High praise for their Mayberry, White Dog, and Broken Skull IPAs - DELICIOUS! Because of the food and beverage license situation (cost), there are no true food options, BUT, they do have food trucks and other options that pull up right outside. On my Thursday night visit I chatted with several friendly people, the crowd is certified chill, no attitude, just beer loving individuals.
