El sushi de papa

Now this place doesn't serve your typical sushi but their fusion sushi rolls are tasty and interesting! If you are good to try sushi that has a unique spin to it, this is your place. The family running it are super sweet too!

Sushi from a trailer? Hey, it was great. Not quite traditional sushi, but just as good! After ordering, it took awhile to receive the food, but a couple people had ordered right before me and it's a small operation, so totally understand. For a unique take on sushi, go here!! And the Bomba could totally be a meal by itself. Edit: Two years later, I'm living in Chicago and still think of this place, lol. Was just checking Google Maps to make sure it was still open and decided to update my review. If you are in Tucson, try this place!

Sushi De Papa is the best Mexican sushi place here in Tucson. I have tried other Mexican sushi here in Tucson and it is usually soggy and falls apart. But, at Sushi De Papa the food is always fresh and the fried sushi is always crisp! Every time I order the food is always fresh and delicious. For those that complain about the wait time you could always call ahead of time to place your order that is what I usually do. I’m obsessed with the wishos and fried rice (pictured below). I come here at least once a week. The portions are good and so are the prices. I have been coming here for a year and have not encountered any issues with service or food.

Woot!! Imaginative fusion and a chef who's preparation was excellent. My wife and I tried several of the rolls all of which were beyond expectation. Returning with friends and family very soon. Sonoran sushi is the best!!

Favorite sushi place to go! They will deep fry your rolls or you can leave them natural. I ordered the wishos.

You really can't go wrong here. I wasn't entirely sure what I was getting myself into but yeah, stop here and enjoy it.

The food is amazing!! I’ve gone 3x in 4 days., great prices, nice portions and the owners are super friendly. Highly recommend! I love the salmon roll you can get it fresh or fried and it comes with a yummy teriyaki sauce and spicy mayo. Definitely my new favorite lunch place.

Delicious and quantity over price at this places. You got to order the sushi rolls w/the rice under it with the Tea. I recommend to order thru the phone for faster service and good atmosphere. If your not hungry just get the Tea. 10/10 Don't forget the spicy mayo too. Muy rico el sushi y te sirven bastante por el precio. Y el Té Ni se diga, Si no me cree pruébalo usted. Recomiendo que pidan con anticipo, más rápido y eficiente par el cliente y el restaurante.

This is a great little food truck. He's got a couple of tables set up under a canopy so you can also stay and eat here. Sushi - great flavor but a bit too much rice. Everything was super fresh and he's got some very cool mixes but the big mouthful of rice took away from the filling and made it hard to eat each individual roll. The last couple of end pieces of each roll were also missing some or most of the filling. Definitely a solid place to come and grab some yummy, fresh sushi for a good price.

I would give 10 stars if I could!!! Such a delicious place to eat, definitely made with love!! I enjoy each and every time I come and eat from this local business. The nice woman and gentlemen that own the truck are always a pleasure to speak with and see, greeting you with a smile every time. Hard to find excellent and genuine customer service these days. Que ricooo!! I soo recommend this place !! They are fast , and cheap and pretty good!! 10/10 they're very nice and soda are such is good price unlike other places almost $3 for a can of soda! Here prettyyy good!! Alot of various types of sushis, rice, and wings & drinkss!

I loved this place!...When my foodie mother was visiting, she found it, and I drove the 30 minutes it takes me to get from East to Southside thinking...hmmm?...what's in store?...worth the trip?...Of Course!!, Dear Ma found another winner!!! DELICIOUS!!! Go for the food!!!....Simple foodcart in a closed lot, style dining, clean, staff very friendly. This is what you might call "Mexican Style" Sushi...It's a little different, and completely amazing on the palate! Sushi may have cooked beef/chicken, and can be ordered deep fried as well, where they gently deep fry in a light panko crust! Highly recommend!!!

My coworkers and I ordered about 5 different rolls and all were delicious. The service was great and they really took the time to explain to you or clarify any questions you had about the rolls I even asked for a specific way to make the sushi roll as I am a little picky... and they accomplished it and tasted great ! Great price for yummy sushi I would total recommend coming here.

Best Sushi Place in town!!!! You will love this place it's a restaurant coming from Agua Prieta, Mexico The food is delicious and you'll end up coming back, also it's not as expensive as other sushi places you'll definitely get your money's worth. The Service is amazing give them another also the family that owns this restaurant are the best people you'll meet always thinking about the customer and going above and beyond to making your experience and food to be the best it can be. Will recommend to anybody lookin for great sushi at a good price.
