Google
Griddle sizzling, tortillas warming, and a steady line that moves with purpose. El Taco H feels like a true neighborhood taquería — bright, lively, and built around fresh tortillas, hot plates, and a quick, friendly cadence. The Food Clean, bold flavors with balance. Warm tortillas, well-seasoned fillings, and salsas that add brightness without overpowering. Each bite lands fresh and satisfying, the kind of build that keeps you reaching back for another taco without feeling heavy. Service & Atmosphere Fast, upbeat, and dialed. Orders hit the table hot, staff check in with extra limes and napkins, and the room keeps an easy buzz whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or settling in with friends. More Details • Vegetarian options: Simple meat-free builds are doable (beans, rice, veg), and staff can help you customize. • Dietary restrictions: Common allergens include gluten, dairy, and soy; ask for plain builds and sauce on the side. • Parking: Lot parking out front; peak lunch and dinner windows get busy but turnover is steady. • Kid-friendliness: Very — quick service, shareable plates, and a casual vibe. • Wheelchair accessibility: Ground-level entry with movable seating; ask for a low, clear-path table during rush hours. Final Take A dependable Denton taquería that delivers fresh griddle work, bright salsas, and friendly speed. Five stars for flavor, value, and pace. ___ El Taco H 213 E Hickory St, Denton, TX 76201

We had gone there on a recommendation from a local and needless to say we were more that satisfied! The Flan portion was almost the size serving for 2 people brought memories back. The tacos where so delicious and with their plenty of selections of salsas to add you get to add your choice of spicy level. The Aguas frescas are definitely a must try and they are definitely house made. The birria was very juicy and plentyfull. The food was definitely a 10/10. The patio is spacious and nice to have the option of insode dining or outdoors. The drink was a bit strong to my taste but didnt disappoint the pineapple and jamaica blends where just nice.

Google
Cute backyard. Was excited to sit back there. Food was terrible. Had chicken flautas and birria tacos. The chicken was so dry and not good at all. The waitress spilled the birria “juice” all over the taco plate and acted like we were crazy for asking why the whole plate was drenched. Neither dishes were good. Very disappointing. Would definitely not recommend.

Google
I came here on a late night on a whim when I was craving some tacos and it did not disappoint. The tacos are pretty small but packs a lot of flavor. The taco meats were of quality and definitely had me wanting for more. The restaurant is very spacious with lots of seating, and has a bar, and there was some silent auction in a corner too. They also have a salsa bar with condiments, but be warned the salsa (even the mild green salsas) are quite spicy. I only got birria tacos and carne asada but definitely coming back for more. I recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Google
Aguas Frescas were delicious, Food was delicious but portions aren’t great for the price of things. Cocktails are sooo good! Birria Plate portion is small but flavor is good, the quesadilla portion size is disappointing, almost like a kids sized menu item. All in all good food but don’t be too hungry when you get there, don’t pass on the agua frescas, and do try to get a cocktail.

Google
DELICIOSO!!! 10 out if 10 recommend for their Birria Taco’s! My husband’s burrito was enormous and the flavors are amazing! All the meats were seasoned really well, cooked to perfection. Loved trying all the different sauces! Definitely gonna be a new family favorite for us! Great food, cute atmosphere and friendly staff. Will be back often!

Google
Loved eating here! The tacos were fantastic, place is cute and fun, loved my hibiscus tea and our chips and salsa and just really enjoyed the atmosphere and food.

Google
El Taco H has great flavors with their tacos. And get that guac! I am a fan of their horchata and the Al pastor was my favorite taco. Head over to El Taco H downtown Denton just off the square.

Yelp
OMG our daughter brought us & it's our new fav place in Denton. This place smoke Torchy's (that I've always loved). Great: outdoor patio, tacos, guacamole & chips, nachos, salsa bar, friendly service, and pitcher beer! We will be back tomorrow before UNT basketball game!!

Yelp
This used to be one of my favorite taco spots, but the last few times we've ordered delivery, the tacos are either incredibly greasy (Asada) or the tortillas are wet and soggy. They have also forgotten items in several orders - one of the sides on the taco plate or tonight, the chips and salsa were left out. I won't order delivery again...lesson learned. Now the good - The Asada tacos are really good, but watch for hard burnt pieces from the grill (I always check mine before eating). The cilantro lime rice is delicious. The beans are good, but have more of a smoked ham taste than I like so I usually opt for double rice. The elote cup is okay...I can't put my finger on what I don't like about it. The salsa is drinkable!! It is so good! My favorite besides my mom and grandma's by far! The tres leches cake is incredible! I usually don't like tres leches cakes, but I saw a picture of it and my son and I decided to try it...omg...perfection. Asada tacos: 4/5 Cilantro lime rice: 4/5 Beans: 3/5 Elote cup: 2/5 Chips and salsa: 5/5 Tres leches cake: 5/5

Yelp
So I took my wife here for lunch on Saturday, and honestly the food was so-so at best. The service sucked The staff at the counter sucked. My food was cold and dry. My wife's was just missing for a while Ugh. They sucked So it all started by my wife and I walking up to order and my wife ordered two different type of tacos and a Diet Coke and a chips/salsa, I also ordered two different tacos and a glass of water. Simple, right?? Two people, four tacos! The girl said something to me which I couldn't hear due to the amount of noise there. Btw, this was a very noisy place. So I said, yes, that my wife ordered two tacos and I ordered two tacos Weird that you get a plastic cup but have to go to the bar in a different room to get your coke. So we sat and waited. They brought my tacos chips and salsa and left. We waited And waited And nothing So I went back up to the counter and was told that I had only ordered 2 tacos. So I told her that my wife had ordered two tacos and was told I had to pay again. 4 tacos, chips & salsa and a drink for $24. Seriously over priced It's amazing she heard my wife order the chips and salsa and her coke but not the tacos!! Her tacos finally did arrived, (NOT the tacos she ordered) but she ate them as we were tired and she was hungry Overall the experience sucked. Over priced over rated I cannot recommend this place and won't go back

Yelp
Went mid afternoon on a Saturday. Parking was a little tricky but usually is in Denton. Two ladies on the counter were helpful and very nice. We ordered taco plates. They come with three each along with cilantro lime rice and charro beans. Great street tacos the birria and Al pastor were awesome. The rice and beans were very good. Love the sauce bar in the back. Guac was also very good and the chips are seasoned very nice. Place is clean and well kept.
google avatar

Niraja S.

Yelp
I've been struggling to find good tacos after moving here, but this place hit the spot! I appreciated how the birria wasn't overly greasy. Love how they have a salsa bar in the back - it was fun to experiment and see which salsa paired best with the tacos. Service was fast, and there's plenty of seating inside to enjoy your food!

Yelp
I came here for lunch recently and was very pleased. I had ordered ahead and my order was ready in the 8 minutes it took me to drive here. As soon as I walked in I was greeted. I had to order in person since I forgot to order a taco when I did it online. The cashier was very nice and my order was ready in less than 5 minutes. The service was really good. They have a large salsa bar that has water, ice, limes, jalapenos, and, of course, various salsas. I ordered the carne asada taco, the al pastor, and quesabirria. I was so hungry I didn't get to take any pics of all the tacos. The tacos were excellent. Now, they are small, as they are street tacos, but the flavor is potent in a good way as they're all well seasoned. The carne asada steak was grilled perfectly and had great flavor, and it was tender; it tasted great! The al pastor taco was also very good it was very tender, not dried out and tender and had a perfect pastor flavor. I like that they garnished it with diced pineapples. The quesabirria was very delicious, the meat was very tender and flavorful, and the cheese was just as delicious. The tacos are made of corn, and the tortillas were very high quality. I'll definitely be back! I

Yelp
Flavor town is back in Denton! Located just off the square, El Taco H is dishing out supreme tacos with excellent flavors. I recently happened to stop by on Taco Tuesday and much to my surprise, El Taco H exceeded my expectations. Given Denton isn't known for its establishments, El Taco H is a reliable option for Taco Tuesday specials. Along with Taco Tuesday specials, happy hour is thing. The most unique thing about the restaurant outside of the flavor packed Al-Pastor taco, has to be their extensive selection of salsa. El Taco H won't disappoint, definitely worth a try if you're in the Denton area.

Yelp
Food and service were good. Didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive, though it was weird that that appetizer came after the tacos. We ordered: Birria taco, lengua, chorizo/queso? (I think) and another one with pineapple. Overall, I enjoyed the birria and the chorizo one. Couldn't try the one with pineapple (as I'm allergic). The lengua was okay, a bit dry imo There's a sauce bar in the back as well. Good variety there, though personally, I wish there was a spicer sauce (Haberno wasn't spicy) Will be back if I'm in the area!

Yelp
If you're looking for a place with great Mexican food and good vibes in downtown Denton then this is it. El Taco H is one of my top spots when visiting downtown Denton. They have a great salsa bar to get you started before your meal comes out. I love their tacos I feel like they're always on point. The staff is always vibrant and helpful from when you enter till you leave. If you're looking for a great margarita this is your place. Definitely will come back for more!!
google avatar

Nick G.

Yelp
Very cool ambiance, lots of neat paintings on the wall and decor that feels like you're being transported to Mexico City. Everything was very clean and the staff was welcoming as soon as we walked in. There is a whole bar with many different hot sauces at all different heat levels along with all the toppings if you want extra, including limes cilantro and onions. All the food we ordered came out quick and tasted phenomenal! The chips were seasoned a d the salsa was steaming hot and packed with flavor. One of the best salsa's I've ever had that perfectly balanced heat and flavor. The Suadero taco could have been a bit more tender but still was very delicious. All the tacos were dripping with juices and VERY generously piled up with meat and toppings. The margaritas were flavorful and not too sweet like a lot of places tend to be. We will make this a new staple when we're looking for street tacos. It felt very authentic and tasted incredible

Yelp
Came on recommendation of some friends. A bit confused on how you order and no one greeted at door. But with that being said you walk in and menus are at door. Then step to counter and order and then seat yourself. Very open eating area and bar in the back as well as a salsa bar. Cute decor as well. Birria tacos were very tasty. Loved the cilantro lime rice and the beans. Chicken flautas were packed full and the crema on top was delicious. The best aguas frescas I have had in a while.

Yelp
upon entering the building was hit with very strong chemical smells. was unbearable and unable to dine here. would be willing to change review if this changes. it smelt like a clorox bottle. however-- the staff were welcoming and kind! great foh staffs.

Yelp
This place is off the Denton Square by a block or two. You walk in, place your order, and they bring you your food. The ambience is adorable. It was clean, open, they had an air conditioned area in an outside sitting area. You got to sit wherever you want. They had a relish bar with all kinds of salsa, limes, and all the accoutrements that go with street tacos. I did get the El Diablo margarita, probably one of the best margaritas I have ever had in a very long time. I also got the Carne Asada, barrita taco, with rice and beans. All of it was very good however I did prefer the Carne Asada over the burrita taco

Tom Z.

Yelp
I've been coming here since they've opened and everything has been excellent. Tasty food and good service. This place is my go to when I come down to the square.

Yelp
Fast food! Clean establishment and amazing queso! Will return just for the agua alone!

Yelp
We were on the way to lake Ray Robert's and took a detour because everybody was hungry. My daughter had been here before and recommended it. We all ordered the taco plate. I had the carne asada, my wife had the carnitas and my daughter had the queso birria. They were accompanied by a cilantro lime rice that was very heavy on the lime that my wife and daughter really liked and some beans with a suspicious seasoning. Overall it was a good meal meaning my wife and daughter loved what they had. They had a large variety of salsas and sauces. Chips are extra here where most places if you are purchasing 3 meals they come free. I personally am a connoisseur of Mexican food so I would given it a 3. It definitely is worth giving it a try since two out of three gave them a 4.

Yelp
Everything was good. Food, atmosphere, service all good, very unique restaurant. Will definitely be going back

Yelp
Great food. Simple. Easy. Great flavors, ramen was great. Can wait to bring back friends.
google avatar

Lisa J.

Yelp
I meant to take the picture before most of the food was gone LOL The Ramen was so yummy! I will definitely order it again. I don't usually eat guacamole but I couldn't stop eating the chips and guacamole. I really enjoy spicy food but their salsa was a little more spicy than I could handle. The atmosphere was nice and casual and the servers were friendly and attentive. El Taco H has been added to my will return to list.
google avatar

Yelp
Great taco spot in Denton. Lots of tasty taco options and cold beer. Prices are also good. They have a nice big patio in the back with the bar that offers shaded area and full sun options. The atmosphere and vibe was inviting... The staff was helpful and informative with all their food choices.. You can't go wrong with El Taco H.... Stop by, I know you'll be happy with your choice. Parking: You need to use the Denton parking lots. There is a small free lot across the street.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place! The authenticity is beaming from the second you walk in. From the big jugs of Agua fresca to the music and the decor, this place makes you feel like you're in for a traditional meal. The food was delicious. I ordered a taco plate and some flautas. The tacos were good, I got 2 pastor and one steak. The pastor came with pineapple and that was a delicious treat. The chicken flautas were probably the top 2 or 3 best I've ever had in my life. Super crispy on the outside yet juicy on the inside. The Agua fresco was absolutely amazing must get if you visit. Service was friendly and helpful. I will 100% be back here.
google avatar

Yelp
Okay I'm sad that this is all the way in Denton and I live in Fort Worth because this was sooooo good. I was getting my hair done down the street and my stylist told me to come here for lunch so I did. I ordered to go but got an Agua Fresca de Fresa and the taco plate with rice and beans. Did not disappoint. The Birria, Carnitas, and Tinga all had amazing flavor. Definitely will be back to eat on the patio because it looked super cute and it would be perfect on a nice day with a margarita yes I'll be back
google avatar

Lysette R.

Yelp
Delicious as usual! Ate at the restaurant before the Luchador match they were hosting. Got Al Pastor, Barbacoa, and Carnitas. All delicious. The barbacoa was less greasy this time. Rice and beans are the absolute best I've ever had. Margaritas were perfect. Service was also fast as usual. The bartenders were great; we came back over for a drink after the match and my friend requested a creative drink inspired by the luchador mask he bought at the match. It was yummy! They were all super nice. Always a great vibe here. Love the brick walls and decor. The music is always fantastic. Feels like I'm back in Mexico!

Yelp
We came as a group of 15 after an event on the UNT campus. Our organizers ordered some guac and chips for the table -- the guacamole was off-the-charts excellent and the chips were fine too. I got a taco plate with the three least common tacos that I could find on the menu; all three tacos were wonderful. The taco plate came with a small bowl of rice that I liked a lot and a bowl of beans that was good enough for the purpose. We drank some Shiner bock and then some more Shiner bock. The beer was most welcome, and pretty tasty to boot.

Yelp
Hand down the best tacos we've had while in Texas. This spot is a favorite of our cousins who live nearby. We were told they have great margaritas but don't try them this trip. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and when we had an issue with part of our meal not getting delivered the manager was quick to refund us for the missing item - no questions asked. There is a large outdoor seating area and the indoor seating is kept for good cold with AC. The decor is plentiful and tasteful. The quesabirria tacos were to die for. The meat was very tender and it had just the right amount of cheese. The consommme was so good and was super flavorful. I washed everything down with a cup of cucumber and lime aqua Fresca which was very refreshing. The cilantro lime rice was so good and the charro beans were amazing. I'm used to bland refried beans at Mexican restaurants but these beans were piping hot and full of flavor. My husband was raving about his carne asada tacos and said he wishes he would've ordered more than three. We will absolutely be back the next time we are in town.
google avatar

Maryelin R.

Yelp
I was seating across the street eating at hoochies; when the music kept bringing back childhood memories. We came in the following by week for the music; however will definitely return for the food and service. Carnitas tacos, the lime rice and the charro beans is something I can eat day in & day out. Let's not forget about the unlimited freshly made chips and salsa bar
google avatar

Karina C.

Yelp
I keep coming back because their food is delish and priced well. Thank you for not being like other places and charging $17 for a mediocre burrito. My favs are the pastor tacos and queso birria. They have the best Guacamole. My kids love the chicken tostadas. And we love Wednesday Loteria night. Oh and a great salsa bar and sangria. One of my fav spots at the square.
google avatar

Jason B.

Yelp
In Denton old town great set up , plenty of seating. Went with family , we all got different tacos they were good but need more flavor for me. Awesome salsa bar. Great Fresca's.
google avatar

Liz F.

Yelp
Outside of the hair wrapped around my lime, the food was incredible! I got tacos al pastor, cabeza, and carnitas! The meat was flavorful and where it needed to be. My husband got the birria and said the consommé was The BEANS!! I'll admit, a bean fanatic, but that with the added rice kind of reminded me of like a jambalaya situation. Only took one star off bc of the hair!
google avatar

Martha M.

Yelp
Great food, ok service and good ambiance. We did enjoy the variety of hot sauces. I would have given a higher score if the food was not cold and the place had air conditioning but it was an ok experience
google avatar

Tina W.

Yelp
Service was great. Food was fresh and nice portions. The ambiance was very clean and open . I loved the food and I can't wait to go back for more

Yelp
Wow! It's not often that I'm blown away from the moment I walk into a new restaurant, until I leave. From the outside it doesn't look like something as great as it was inside. The menu was pretty easy to navigate and the only down side was I couldn't sample their great drinks because I was at work. We ordered the chips & salsa and loved that they came out warm. They give you a ton of chips and that salsa was soooo good! We couldn't even finish them. They bring your order to you and everyone there was friendly and we got our order pretty quickly. Just looking at my Birria taco plate I was truly hoping it tasted as good as it looked. Well....it was even better! That meat was tender, juicy and packed full of flavors. The beans were out of this world amazing. Even the rice was some of the best rice I've had at a Mexican restaurant. I will come back again with my wife so she can drive and I can sample the drinks !!
google avatar

David B.

Yelp
Great find for tacos in Denton. Enjoyed everything that we ordered, and we had a good sample of the tacos on the menu. Did the same with the salsas. There are so many selections. This is great since each type of taco will be enhanced by specific flavors and heat. I had three tacos: nopales, barbacoa; and beef. Liked all of the flavors put forward. I had cilantro-lime rice. We had the chips and salsa and enjoyed the warm salsa that was served. Very good
google avatar

Trinh H.

Yelp
Went here with a group of friends and definitely enjoyed our time! There was great atmosphere - music, lighting, and temperature at the facility was fun, vibrant, and comfortable. When you walk in, you grab a menu and order at the counter + pay right in front of you. They'll give you a number and the food is served wherever you choose to sit. The food itself was a bit on the higher side but this place is a tiny bit more upscale than your average taco shop you'd find at a gas station. The tacos were pretty small for our liking (looked like a little under 5 inches) but totally stuffed with meat - which did make up for it. Everything was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed the dish. There is a free salsa bar (chips you have to buy at the counter) with a complimentary water dispenser on the side. There's plenty of seating and two separate dining rooms. Bathrooms were plentiful and clean. The entire place was just super clean. Parking is on the street but there is also a free lot across the street from the restaurant.
google avatar

Ben R.

Yelp
The food has good flavors, the service is super friendly and fast and they have great music for ambiance if you like an authentic Mexican feel with Banda music and Spanish music of all genres. Be prepared to wait in line to order your food before you seat down if you go during rush hour times but their salsa bar is awesome and I heard during the weekends the back patio turns into a big party so I will have to go try that out in the future.
google avatar

Yelp
It a fancy place with cheap food near the college. Nothing was bad, but nothing made me want to ever come back again since I make a lot more money than when in college in the 90s.
google avatar

Ernesto S.

Yelp
It has been a while since I visited this place. At least a year since I was last here. This time around I went with my son and ordered two 3 tacos meal. Sudadero & Al Pastor. Both flavors with only onions. The tortillas were falling apart. Perhaps too much dipped in oil (as MXN street tacos tend to be). The beans had a strong cummin & black pepper taste. Perhaps may be canned sourced. The white Mexican rice was ok (arroz cilantro y limón flavor). Uncommon for a Mexican kitchen vs the tomato rice that's mostly dominant in Mexican food. Suadero meat was ok. Fatty as suadero should be. Al Pastor meat was overcooked. Horchata water (rice water) was ok. Just too sweet. This maybe sourced through a vendor. Customer service was good. Food is overpriced for the quality provided.
google avatar

Laura V.

Yelp
If you're looking for a great ambiance & hangout spot to munch on Mexican food, this will be your place. The food is okay, why because it's lacking flavor on most plates. The agua chiles did not have any taste or spice to it. They included a bag of salsa chips which gave it the spice. The birria tacos were savory but felt like there wasn't enough meat in the taco. The only taco I would recommend from here is the el pastor taco. Drinks are really good & enjoyable to drink at the outside patio.

Yelp
I do not enjoy giving one star reviews to local establishments, however, when I do there is always a reason. With that being said, I've gone to El Taco H with friends and family several times since they opened here in Denton. I've never had any issues, food has always been consistent and the staff and service have been friendly. With that being said, I've never ordered any drinks from the bar. Last night a close friend of many years was visiting from out of town and a group of us (5 total) excitedly decided to take my friend to this establishment. We made our orders, found out we couldn't order drinks at entry (which was totally fine) we go to the bar to make our orders. My friend ordered and received her drink. I give her my and my partners drink orders, she asks for ID and my partner handed the bartender his and my id. I took out my credit card ready to pay. The bartender looks at our id's tells me mine is expired and cannot serve me. I asked her "really?" And she responds with "really." With an attitude, but then looks at my partner and repeats the wrong order back to him and asks him if he's still wanting to order. I asked the bartender how is it that she's unwilling to serve me, but she's ready to serve my partner and willing to let me pay? I decide to go ahead and renew my ID right there, and show the bartender my renewal receipt. She proceeds to bring back the manager and I'm told again they can't serve because they don't have a copy. Your manager and bartender should be aware that this copy of the receipt is a valid document for renewal and serves as a substitute until the actual card arrives in the mail. I was a bartender for 10 years, I still keep my TABC updated even though I'm out of the industry. This could have not even been any sort of issue if your manager stated "this is our private policy" but instead she stated that she had to HAVE a copy, which legally stating isn't true. With that being said, your bartender overpoured my friend's drink. To the point it was not suitable for drinking. There's some massive inconsistencies here in terms of awareness of TABC law at your bar. I don't like making a big deal of things, but I really didn't appreciate feeling like was a teenager trying to get an illegal drink when I'm 36 years old just trying to have a drink with my friends lol. I felt incredibly unwelcome and it killed the mood for all of us who were having a great evening catching up until that point. Even worse was hearing how your bartenders were talking to other patrons, which my friend also pointed out to me. I don't think any of us will be returning, which is pretty unfortunate.

Yelp
Found this place when in town visiting my son at UNT and was looking for a place that served food after 10. Big open space with indoor and outdoor seating. You take a menu, find a seat, order at the counter or bar when ready and they bring it to your table! I got the seasoned chips and guacamole.. we all agreed some of the best we'd ever had. They have a huge salsa bar which includes at least 6 types of salsa, pico, onions, cilantro, limes and jalapeño....AWESOME!!! My son and his girlfriend got the birria plate and finished every morsel! I had a Modelo draft, kids said margaritas were good! They said they will definitely be back! Fun, cool relaxed atmosphere.

Yelp
Big burrito was fantastic, not too busy for lunch on a Tuesday either. Very relaxed place with great salsa bar. The habanero salsa is so good! Get 1 or 2 of their el pastor tacos while you're at it!

Yelp
This place makes absolutely delicious food. The chips and salsa bar AMAZING TACOS are all different kinds of meats and delicious The customer service was so great. The young ladies are so sweet. Restaurant is very spacious/friendly with people and that part WON my business. My son attends UNT it was the best place for us to have lunch. Great for large gatherings and families, nice bar, and large back with heaters for cool nights. Great for kiddos

Yelp
I am OBSESSED with this place!! Not only does it never disappoint, but it continues to exceed my expectations. I always go in expecting whatever I order to be good but somehow I'm never prepared for HOW GOOD it always ends up being. Also - the service is always immaculate!! Everyone is so kind and helpful!! This time around, I decided to try one of their Tuesday specials, the Nacho Libre. My sister was raving about these nachos awhile ago so I was pumped to finally try them. These are hands down some of the greatest nachos on the planet! The carne asada was so flavorful and tender, queso was on point, chips were fresh and top tier as always, the vegetables and all the toppings were fantastic!! 1000000/10 would absolutely get again!!

Yelp
Great tacos, great margs, great salsa. Lots of tables, including some outdoors. There's cornhole in the back and the vibes are super upbeat and fun. I will definitely be back.

I ordered carne asada tacos. They were standard. My husband ordered beef flautas and those were amazing!!! Probably the best I've had. We shared a watermelon agua fresca. It was very good and they have quite a few flavors and you can sample them before buying. The guacamole was chunky and perfect. The side of chips and salsa were tasty as well. I didn't know whether we would be seated or not. Then a worker said the menus were behind me. Then you order at the counter. I was a little confused about this at first but once you know, you know. I noticed that the restaurant smelled strongly of fabuloso cleaner. It was overwhelming. I'm not sure if they had just cleaned or what. That being said, the restaurant was very clean.

Yelp
Wow!! I totally loved this spot. Everything we ate was delicious and we even went for seconds. We had asada taco, quesabirria taco, campeche quesadilla, horchata, consomé, and elote. The meat is tender and rich, nothing was greasy, the salsas are full of flavor and controlled heat. The consomé was flavorful, served very hot which I appreciate, and not greasy. I was visiting from LA and would be extremely happy to have a spot like this back home. And that means a lot because tacos in LA rock! Service was great, place is clean. They have a great salsa bar. They have a full bar in the back, pario seating, ample seating inside. Clean restrooms.

Yelp
Definitely a go to place. Super fun environment especially weekend nights. Food always comes out fast and yummy. Drinks are amazing specifically, the strawberry Agua Fresca definitely go with the Small unless you're looking for an extra extra extra large drink

Yelp
extremely delicious sopas, we showed up on a friday night and it was incredibly busy but our food came out very quickly and was fresh! the aguas frescas are super sweet, i couldn't handle it but the coconut one we got was delicious nonetheless. they have a self serve bar area with salsas, limes, and water! music was good, space was clean and vibes were correct, deeeeefinitely recommend the carne asada. the beans were surprisingly spicy in a good way and the staff was very nice even though i was being indecisive! 4.98 stars

Yelp
Sooo glad my friend took me to this taco spot. I really love Denton and what it offers!! And this spot is definitely one of them. They had a variety of tacos to choose from, and I went with the classic plus something different. I chose the Al Pastor, Carne Asada and the cactus with potatoes! AMAZING CHOICES! And the salsa bar is TOPPPP NOTCH!!!! The elotes had all the right flavors- although I did wish I got more as the serving size a little. I cannot wait to come back with more friends! They have a huge indoor and outdoor space. The weekends I heard are crazy here. 5 stars for good vibes and good food!
