The 19 Best Breakfast Tacos In Austin

"The breakfast tacos at El Tacorrido won’t change the world, but they’re consistent, dependable, and very affordable. In contrast to every other place on this list however, El Tacorrido conveniently has drive-thrus at all their locations, so you won’t even have to get out of your car. Inconveniently, sometimes the drive-thru lines can be a little long in the morning. While they have the standard red and green salsas, there's also the spicy and rich molcajete salsa, made with roasted tomato, jalapenos, and serranos. What to get: Chorizo, egg, and cheese; Bacon, egg, beans, and avocado. " - nicolai mccrary, raphael brion

Where to Eat and Drink in Brentwood in Austin

"The Burnet Road location of the Austin drive-thru mini-chain dishes up simple but hearty tacos for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. For a beverage, order the El Equinox: iced horchata with a shot of espresso. Takeout orders can be placed in person." - Darcie Duttweiler

El Tacorrido - Burnet Road - Review - Brentwood - Austin - The Infatuation

"El Tacorrido has multiple locations around town, and more likely than not there will be a line of cars backed up in the drive thru. The breakfast tacos are consistent, dependable, and very affordable. While they have the standard red and green salsas, there's also the spicy and rich molcajete salsa, made with roasted tomato, jalapenos, and serranos. We’re most impressed with their dedication to a wide diversity of pork-based tacos, including a textbook carnitas taco and the revuelta taco, a triumvirate that combines cuerita, buche, and carnitas. photo credit: Raphael Brion" - Raphael Brion

El Tacorrido Opens New Taco Drive-Thru in Brentwood - Eater Austin

"Austin’s taco drive-thru mini-chain El Tacorrido opened its latest restaurant in Brentwood as of today, May 11. It’s found on 5303 Burnet Road. For now, it’s operating under limited hours, which means it will close at 3:30 p.m. today. Its Facebook page will be updated with current hours. The fast-casual array at El Tacorrido includes breakfast and lunch/dinner tacos with the usual array of meats like al pastor, barbacoa, fish, and vegetarian options. Then there are offal offerings too, including the porky-mixed revuelta (pork skin, pork stomach, and pork shoulder). along with salads, tortas, quesadillas, and gorditas. Meats are also available by the pound for DIY tacos at home (it comes with tortillas and accompaniments). Tacorrido is especially known for its hangover-curing menudo, only available on the weekends. Plus there’s coffee (the refreshing iced horchata with espresso) and ice cream sandwiches. This is El Tacorrido’s fourth restaurant, in Bouldin on South First, in Windsor Park on Berkman Drive, and up in North Austin on North Lamar Boulevard." - Nadia Chaudhury

Found a roach in our chips…after we'd eaten almost all of them. Disgusting. This is the second issue we've had with this location. First was a piece of metal scouring pad found in the meat. Now this. Too many great taco businesses in Austin to tolerate this kind of poor quality control. Never again.

Google
Came in for a quick bite at 1:00 pm after seeing this place everything I stop at the book store and wanted to give it a try. Between the torta and ordinary, I took the gordita. Zero lack of sides except for chips as shown. Food was served quickly, within 10 minutes of ordering. I was not impressed with what I received after paying just over $11. Gordita broke apart at 2nd bite and revealed about 3 oz of salty chicken. Lettuce was yellow and white. I picked apart what I could, packed up the chips for later and that's a wrap.

Google
New neighborhood favorite! This food is so good! I grew up in San Antonio, and this is deliciously authentic Mexican food. We went for breakfast and I ordered the Chilequiles and my spouse had the Migas, both were great. They came drizzled with queso fresco, a side of beans and corn or flour tortillas. You can choose which salsa you’d like with it, there are three to choose from, we got the hottest which is also the chunkiest, and it was amazing. Not too hot though, you still get great flavor through the heat. It’s a small place with a counter to order and a small, but cozy eat-in area. They also have a drive thru, which is convenient. All around great experience, at a great price.

Google
How can this place be a secret? I'm a breakfast enthusiast and EL Tacorrido goes hard in the paint. Excellent tacos, salsas, chips and tortillas. With a great price. Try it. You will be plotting your return halfway through your meal. Red sauce is pretty warm!

Google
I wish I could give 3.5 stars. Convenient, food is nothing fancy but it's decent and definitely better than fast food. It irks me that they ask for a tip at the drive thru window though. Tips are for service, are they not? The El Equinox (horchata + espresso) is very good though, probably my favorite thing on the menu.

Google
I'm a little shocked at myself that I haven't reviewed this favorite yet. We come here frequently, and the fish tacos are always a spicy hit. I've had their tortas, gorditas, chips and guacamole, and other tacos, and everything is consistently fresh. Their horchata is thick and creamy and will keep my husband coming back here forever. Great place.

Google
Disclaimer: Food is good, but not for the price. If you plan to eat here be ready to spend. I go only sometimes if I’m not that hungry only because I can save some money. I think it has to do with the location. Overall if this was located somewhere north with better pricing I would definitely come back way more often but not worth it to me with the price.

Google
Absolutely pitiful I come here all the time and its usually great but this time oh boy! First I was only one in line at the drive through but I had to wait nearly 10min for 3 tacos. All were unusually small but onne of them the pastor was pitiful. there was barely meat on it and it was ice cold like they didn't have any heated up on the line so the cook went to the back, probably using their bare hands, and grabbed the smallest amount of meat on it. Like I said all the tacos were small but the pastor was extra small. They really screwed me over on this order.

Yelp
First time getting tacos here. I got 2 bistec tacos which were mid but hell they're only $3 each so that's fine. It's Austin that's like half priced tacos. But these guys have the audacity to have an auto selected 20% tip in the drive-through meanwhile having a sign right next to the window saying they start their people at $17 a hour. Listen, I'm all for tipping people who deserve to be tipped like servers or people waiting on you. People who depend on tips to make their money because they are paid an extremely low hourly wage. But a drive through taco place where they're starting people at $17 an hour? Absolutely not. I hate the feeling of being pressured into tipping because I don't like the look of disappointment on an employees face when I select "no tip". So I tipped and moved on. But I won't be back.
google avatar

Joel R.

Yelp
Best tacos in town. But also why do they turn off their AC and open the windows in the middle of summer days in Texas. Congrats you have the best tacos and the worst eating experience.

Yelp
I've got to spread the word about Taccorido in Austin--it's seriously underrated. While my friends usually flock to Torchy's, I just can't reconcile their prices for what you get. At Taccorido, they've nailed the perfect balance between portion size and price. The place is spotless, with staff constantly on their feet, keeping the tables clean. And the cashier? Quick and efficient without sacrificing an ounce of professionalism. I ordered a couple of carne asada tacos and three bacon, egg, and cheese tacos--absolute perfection. Taccorido is climbing to the top of my Austin taco list, and I only wish they had more locations!
google avatar

Jax T.

Yelp
Pretty decent food. No indoor dining only the drive-thru is open. Kind of on the expensive side. One of the major thing of note. They have a sign on the drive-thru window they start paying for cashiers at Seventeen dollars an hour and yet if you pay with a credit card they ask you if you want the tip. I've been in the service industry on and off most of my life and it's not for people who make well above minimum wage but it seems every place is doing it now.

Yelp
Needed a breakfast taco this rainy morning. Used drive thru. Ordered egg chorizo and cheese. Friendly staff. Minimal wait. Taco pretty good. Asked for green salsa. The salsa is legit. Spicy... not burn your mouth but def has a kick. Very brightly colored and delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
Just not good tacos. Bland, small and never satisfying. It's convenient with a drive thru and fast because never busy but that is about all they have going for them. Hit one of the many taco trucks in the immediate area instead of the disappointment these tacos will almost certainly bring.

Yelp
Actual rating: 4.5 stars Background to review: I did a social media post asking about coffeeshops, a friend recommended El Equinox @ Tacorrido (Burnet Rd, S 1st St, & E Riverside Dr). I went to El Tacorrio on Burnet Rd (link below) ordered El Equinox + a barbarcoa taco and menudo. El Equinox, an iced horchata with a shot of espresso, I ordered a double shot. Even with a double shot, I was surprised at the sweetness. I kept mixing it up, but even with mixing and a little watered down, it was too sweet to finish. Barbarcoa taco on flour tortilla: moist, tender meat and *not* greasy! I forgot to tell them which salsa and they didn't ask, ended up with their salsa verde. OMG! Es muy picoso!! Much spicier than expected but tasted great! Menduo: ordered with 3 corn tortillas, got flour instead; good amount of meat, still wish I'd asked for extra. Wow, what amazed me is the spiciness! ¡Tan picante! .. ¡y eso es antes de agregar cebollas y jalapeños! Cilantro, onions, and diced jalapeño made it even better. Yelp
I love this place but idk what happened to their meat. It tastes like stew meat and is supposed to be beef fajita. It's also almost always really greasy. Their queso is always amazing though and their tortillas. I just wish I could find a place here in austin that uses good meat consistently.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm Addicted to their tacos. My favorites are the al pastor and the tacos de honchos is to die for! It's dreamy. The bell peppers and mushrooms are season delightfully. This taco is full of flavor. I love their queso blanco and chips. Simple queso but delicious every time. I love their green sauce!
google avatar

Daniela D.

Yelp
Just have to say...this place was delightful! I got a fish taco, a veggie taco and an agua fresca (horchata) for lunch. Everything was very tasty. I will ask for the chipotle mayo on the side (so that my tacos don't fall apart) but other than that, I wouldn't change a thing. The tacos were a good size and reasonably priced. Green salsa was spicy and very flavorful. Will definitely go back to try other tacos!!

Yelp
Hate to do it, but gotta go from a 5 star ROTD to a 1 star. Although the tacos are good and the drive thru is convenient, I cannot bring myself to continue supporting this establishment. I recently experience mistakes in 2 of 3 orders in an 8 day time span. Then I experienced very unprofessional customer service from the GM when I called to make a complaint. The guy didn't take any accountability and made excuses. In fact, he began venting and even tried to blame me.. Here are some of the things he said: "We do like 800 orders per day, I'm not surprised we mess some things up." "I cannot be here 24/7 to make sure everything is done perfectly all the time." "I suggest you double check your order. You can ask them to repeat back your order to make sure they got everything right." After pleading my case, he eventually confessed "maybe it was a miss by our cooks then." This interaction displayed a complete lack of care for the customer or the quality of the product sold. There are taco joints on every block in ATX, so I will easily and happily take my business elsewhere.

Yelp
Stopped in and got a potato, egg, and bacon taco, and a barbacoa and al pastor taco with avocado, cheese, and lettuce all on flour. Al pastor was flavorful and I liked the pineapple chunks in it. Barbacoa was alright, kind of fatty and greasy and not too much flavor. Breakfast taco was alright. Flour tortillas tasted store bought and weren't that good. A tortilla is an essential part of a taco so it should taste homemade. All tacos were kind of small. I normally eat 2/3 and felt like I could've eaten 3/4. Green salsa was pretty good. Also got a watermelon agua fresca and it was good. I would've preferred it a tad sweeter but watermelon isn't in season rn so it's no big deal. It was like $15 which is maybe a bit high but whatever. Would probably be back.

Emily B.

Yelp
First I absolutely love this place food is great but my encounter today was absolutely disgusting, pulled up at 9:40 I waited in the drive through for 15 mins then pulled around and the girl working saw me after I finally got her attention got up and turned the sign open sign off and started at me . It was I was trying to get someone's attention the entire time but they were hiding in the back clearly not wanting to do their job. Management needs to look into this I've never had a customer service experience like this one .

Macey K.

Yelp
Good breakfast tacos, quesadillas, and salsas. Pretty inexpensive as well but they shouldn't charge extra for salsa. Verrry slow, don't go if in a rush
google avatar

Paul N.

Yelp
I should've updated this a long time ago because they opened the dining area. They still run out of a lot of items, but this location deserves a one star boost.
google avatar

Tonisha S.

Yelp
best breakfast tacos!! & queso! 99.9% on point for food order accuracy .. no complaints so far.

Melissa L.

Yelp
I've been going here for years and it's consistently hit or miss. Today however was a big miss. Both tacos I got were inedible. I got Al Pastor on corn and once I got it home and tried it it was terrible. No spice, no pineapple, literally no good flavor. Usually the pastor is a red-ish color from the seasoning. Not today. Also got a potato egg and cheese on flour that was surprisingly greasy and zero flavor. Even with salsa it was just gross. It also is weird that their intercom to order has been down forever! And now there is no phone number to call so you just order at the window..which will really take forever if it's busy.
google avatar

Esther A.

Yelp
This migas plate, which cost only $8.5, was like breakfast nachos! Scrambled eggs, fried tortillas, delicious seasoned refried beans, and flavored crispy home potatoes all piled up and covered with melty cheese! The plate didn't have dividers so you know it was a full full plate! For small to normal appetites, this meal is shareable or can be eaten in two sittings if you want it all for yourself, no judgment. I asked for extra salsa verde and boy, oh boy! Spicy? Yes! Cilantro-y? Yes! Fresh and delicious? Heck yea.

Anne D.

Yelp
The food here is reliably good and obviously homemade, and I like the sultry molcajete sauce. But the service is always slow and the cafe is always out of something. Perhaps the chain has expanded too quickly?

Brock M.

Yelp
Decent tacos! I always think they do a good job and are reasonably priced. My only issue is they ask for a tip going through the drive- thru which is absolutely bonkers.

Daniel M.

Yelp
Just had the worse experience here. First off, the bacon and egg tacos barely had any egg, and it felt like I was just scammed with the food. I was shocked to open my taco, and it having more bacon than egg, doesn't make any sense. Also, be careful with the tip. They purposely do not tell you it's included when signing, maybe if they had better food, and stayed consistent, I'd consider it.
google avatar

Bassell A.

Yelp
Consistently great tacos for a great price. I feel like this place is so underrated. The carnitas, El pastor, and Barbacoa are delicious. Feels good to not pay $4 a taco like at other trendy spots in austin
google avatar

Kelsey R.

Yelp
El Tacorrido was recommended to me. I was honestly disappointed. The prices are great, the food was mediocre. There was a lot of flavor missing in these traditional Mexican dishes. Breakfast Tacos- $2.25 Chips and Salsa- $3.50 Aguas Frescas- $2.75 I got an horchata, aguas frescas. It was a little too sweet for my taste. Salsa didn't taste like anything other than tomato soup. Chips were good, however they needed some salt. Tacos were decent. The restaurant ambiance was done very well. Good music, nice seating area, & great staff.
google avatar

Jennifer Z.

Yelp
Although the food wasn't the biggest issue, the service was awful. Items from menu were not available and to make matters worse they assume you've been here so your treated as if you should know you must pick your salsa before knowing what they have and no milk offered for your coffee. You would assume that wearing a mask would hide your RBF but their eyes all told a different story. The only person who smiled at me was the cook a saw for a second. The light fixtures make the restaurant look awful. And it's super cold no type of a.c or heaters.

Reza P.

Yelp
I Just went there to get some good tacos but I can't even eat them because they put too much salt on the meat and they are super salty. I was like maybe if I add more lemon to my tacos it will taste better but no all I can taste is salt :( I am Really disappointed I got 8 tacos and can't even finish one. And for some reason the meat isn't shopped correctly.
google avatar

Paola L.

Yelp
I know I give a lot of 5 stars but these places are genuinely delicious. I've been going to El Tacorrido for 10 years and it's some of the best Mexican (fast) food you can find in ATX. I say fast cause it's a drive through but I'm tellin ya the quality is family. They're tortillas are fresh and the carne's are so flavorful. They're breakfast is also incredible especially adding an Equinox (horchata with expresó) get an extra shot if ya need the gas. This is one of my favorite Al Pastor in Atx too! Check the locations cause some are open until 2AM.
google avatar

Dan K.

Yelp
"Decent tacos in an unfortunate location." -- I "wrote off" El Tacorrido off a long time ago when they opened in this seemingly unfortunate location. Near our previous home. ... Then we moved to the 'burbs. This was a mistake. (You can decide which decision.) After taking the morning shift, dropping off my bambolina, I dropped in on my way back to burbia #costco #basic after a coworker re-stoked my curiosity and interest. Parking awkwardly, my expectations sank and I trudged up the three steps, letting myself in as the building rolled its eyes at me. I'm so glad that I did stop by... the tacos were far better than I expected! The bad: They don't have a migas taco, only a migas plate so they'll never be a five star stop for me. Womp womp. The good: Bacon egg and potato taco was pretty legit. Not much to say about it. The okay / better than average: Al pastor was just okay. The meat was cut into super small bits and it was missing the chunks of pineapple that I love. The knife work on the onion was amazing however. Paired with cilantro and fresh lime juice, the taco was redeemed. The salsas meh. I tried their "verde" (my favorite) which was a rough approximation of a Doña and the "something spicy" salsa which was what I expected to be a standard roja with jalapeños. That being said, everything was fresh and I'd return on someone else's suggestion. If I could give 3.5 stars I would but I have to average down per my rubric.
google avatar

Booger G.

Yelp
Very unimaginative food. Fajitas were mostly gristle. Very bland taste. Chips and queso was just melted cheese absolutely no flavor. My wife says to say the migas are good.
google avatar

Adam H.

Yelp
I felt inspired by my Migas Plate today to write this review. I usually go to Tacorrido for the tacos and Fortas, which are impressive on their own. Today I opted to try something off the all-day breakfast menu, which was the migas plate. A large, filling meal is what I received and it was overflowing with an eggy, flavorful, fresh-made platter of items. The plate included migas, refried beans, slivered potatoes, and tortillas. It's the best migas plate that I've had in Austin! It even topped Veracruz for me. I found it to be the perfect balance of fresh, crunchy chips, griddled eggs, and pico de gallo- all topped with melted cheese. I'll be back for this again and again. It's worth the drive from Pflugerville. When you go, don't hesitate to order El Equinox if you like horchata and coffee together. I love the combo of a double shot of espresso with ice-cold horchata.

Yelp
Love it. Perfect place to grab tacos on the way home. Drive thru makes it the perfect stop for great tacos.

Yelp
This place s has such good tacos. It's a real shame they hire the D team to work here. May be that's just our reality now post Covid. It seems like people who wouldn't be given the time of day are now working all the jobs? We have given it chance after chance because the tacos are so good. But there is always a major screw up. Oh well. Today we came home with 3 tacos instead of 6. The lady taking the order is always like that. It's comical at this point. She even had an entire conversation about the order, and then still proceeded to only get 3 tacos in the order, instead of the 6 that were ordered. Which is kind of a bummer today, but it's just food. I did take the time to write this because it is every time we go here. Every single time. Good luck, we will just have to say goodbye to your yummy tacos because if you can't take a correct order, what is the point of even trying?
google avatar

Olivia M.

Yelp
Cute place. The interior is neatly designed and feels open with the large windows. They also have a drive-thru, which is perfectly convenient for those of us who are always on the go! I've tried a variety of their breakfast tacos, their chicken quesadillas and revuelta tacos. Their breakfast tacos are all good, you can't go wrong with any combo, really; and their chicken quesadillas are delicious. The revuelta tacos I had today, however were much too salty-- almost inedible; I wouldn't order them again. The homemade salsas are a great accompaniment to any taco-- especially the salsa verde. This spot is definitely a solid place for grab and go tacos!
google avatar

Shawna S.

Yelp
Gross. Never coming to this location again. Their queso was salty soup and the chorizo tasted like raw sausage. Food made me sick!

Kike C.

Yelp
Buena comida, es el primer restaurante que tiene salsas que SIIII PICAN se los recomiendo esta bien bueno

Yelp
Honestly, we are so lucky to live in a world where one can get such QUALITY tacos at a DRIVE-THROUGH!! During COVID times, this place has been my saving grace. Service has been super fast in the drive through, and the employees are taking all the precautions they can (wearing masks, offering one time use pens for signing, etc). My favorite items here are the fish tacos and aguas frescas - they have rotating flavors and that are all amazing! The cantaloupe one is my favorite~~ Prices are reasonable and food is always tasty. What more can you ask for?
google avatar

Jesus Y.

Yelp
2 oz of horchata the rest was ice the the cup is only 12oz for 3.50 no option of refill and the new guy at the window told me he cant top it off cause higiene I understand that and I understand i didn't tell him to go easy on ice, but he could have give more in another cup. I come by here cause my girlfriend likes this place but come almost every day and expend over 20 dollars at least 5 days a week and cannot get a refill ??? That a very bad work and business ethic Nice clean place and food its good

Yelp
TNT ( Travis & Trap Taco Adventures ) sent Just A Girl From The 206 on a special assignment to El Tacorrido in Austin, Texas. We had Al Pastor, Bistec, and Barbacoa. They have some great tacos. I am giving this place a 9 out of 10. This is a classic street taco.

Jason H.

Yelp
Bad tacos. First time there. I've never had tacos this bad. Meat was gross. Tortillas were not good. How are they in business? I'm not sure
google avatar

Alison P.

Yelp
Seriously! God bless El Tacorrido! Every time I get a couple burning hot delicious tacos from there for under $6, I'm so happy I didn't spend that on a lukewarm taco from Torchys! Torchys is fine but this place does tacos RIGHT! Stay humble El Tacorrido! You're the bomb!
google avatar

Yelp
A 3 star experience. Some things were great, some things were not, so 3 is where I'm landing on El Tacorrido. Service was fast & convenient through the drive-thru, but there were some hiccups on the service and the food was just okay overall. Right off the bat, I was perturbed when they charged me 25 cents for a 3rd tiny 1 oz cup of salsa after I had ordered almost $40 of food including 2 platters, 4 tacos, an order of guac & chips, AND an order of queso blanco & chips. How do you not include at least 1 salsa per taco and per plate, not to mention with each order of chips? By that standard-at-any-other-taco-joint-in-Austin math, I should have gotten at least 8 salsas included with my order. Why nickle & dime me on this item when you had a chance to delight a new customer instead? Next, they left out 1 of the tiny bags of chips I paid for, so I got home with 2 huge bowls of thick dips and about 10 chips to share among 3 people. Luckily, I had my backup pantry El Milagros to serve my hungry crew. Other complaints? Well, the barbacoa was simply not well-rendered, with a downright chewy texture, not enjoyable and fairly disappointing for my barbacoa-loving family. Lastly, the papas fritas were floppy & greasy, as if steamed, with no crispy bits at all. I actually picked them out of the trays & threw them under the broiler at home to finish them myself. You may be wondering, why isn't this a 1 star review? Well, it wasn't all bad. El Tacorrido must be stingy with those salsas because they are so dang tasty; I loved the flavors of all 3 and wished I'd had more. The guac was fresh & delicious, and the chilaquiles were wonderful. I liked that meal so much, I saved my leftovers to eat the 2nd half of it the following day. I also loved that they are serving their take-away food in sustainable containers, something I wish more restaurants would do. Finally, the lady at the drive-thru window was friendly & charming. Will I return? Probably not unless I get a craving for chilaquiles. There are so many other great taco joints in this town, and none of my favorites charge me for salsa.

Yelp
When I moved to the neighborhood in the fall of 2021, I went here basically every other day for dinner. I loved the chicken tacos! As the months have gone on the consistency of the way my tacos were made changed completely, I'm not sure if the recipe changed or if there were shortages etc. It went from a finely chopped chicken with peppers and cilantro and onion to just chicken in the tortilla the last time I ordered them. Anyways, I don't come by for dinner anymore but the breakfast tacos are always yummy and consistent. Workers are always nice too! Hope to see you open up the lobby again soon :)

Yelp
So where do I even begin with Tacorrido. I have been here over a handful of times at this point, and I have yet to leave a review. Maybe because as soon as I get my food all thoughts of taking pictures go out the window and I immediately start eating because all their food is so delicious...that's probably it. With their super convenient drive thru, Tacorrido has been such a saving grace during these pandemic times. We at least get takeout from here once a week. Our favorites have been the delicious Pozole, Menudo (only available on the weekends), and barbacoa. I grew up in south Texas at a border town, and so I know good barbacoa. Their barbacoa is pretty delicious and in my top 3 of barbacoa options here in Austin (and budget friendly, so comparable to how it is priced in my hometown instead of being overcharged for it like at other places). I've had their quesadillas with almost every meat on their menu, and my top favorites has been barbacoa and beef fajita. We recently tried the vegetarian torta (called Torta De Hongos on the menu). Really really good and very flavorful (as long as you like mushrooms because it's clearly mushroom heavy). I would actually get this and I'm not even vegetarian (and if this was available to me back when I was vegetarian years ago then I would get this all the time!). Also their El Equinox (horchata with espresso) is so delicious, I'm obsessed and I seriously always want to get it. Basically everything I've tried on their menu is great and prices are affordable, so definitely check them out.

Yelp
This is a solid 3 star place. Counter service that's friendly and food that's good. I had 2 potato, egg and cheese tacos and enjoyed the green sauce. The seating area is well lit but not fancy. There's a drive thu window and most of the customers were getting orders "to go". I'll be back to try some of the other items.

Yelp
if they cooked their potatoes longer, they would be the best tacos in the area imo. however, their potatoes are undercooked every single time. it like biting into a delicious taco with crunchy potatoes.

Yelp
Are you awake? Are you breathing? So, you want tacos, right. BUT---do you not want to have to get our if your car? El Tacorrido to the rescue I got 2 bean and cheese an one bean and cheese with spicy chorizo sausage. The tacos were wonderful. Could use a little more salt but nothing that was so flavorless I couldn't enjoy it. The salsa they provide is pretty good. Oh my gosh the grease though. All the tacos were coated in the grease from the chorizo sausage. It just oozes our and into everything. And they use a white cheese which I really approve that it was melted down, and man, they really coated the taco with it! So if you're a cheese fan--- I wouldn't rave about these tacos, but the staff here is great and you REALLY can't beat the convenience of a drive through taco joint.

Yelp
Arrived at 9pm and they basically gave me 3 options available at first but then we talked and suddenly there was 5 as if he was picking and choosing what to give out. I also ordered a large horchata the man filled it up with ice I asked him if he can give me one without ice. He replied I'm just going to refund you and proceeded to give him my meal and drink. In the end I am now waiting for a refund with no receipt or copy of proof since he told me to rely on his word. I hope for his sake I get a refund. Terrible customer service and I love el tacorrido but the night shift supervisor ruined this experience and restaurant for me at this location hopefully it won't happen again

Yelp
Alright I'm a fan! Their green sauce is fabulous! It's very spicy and has avocado which helps balance the heat out. It really jazzed up their otherwise boring and bland bacon and egg taco. The Al pastor on the other hand was great! Well seasoned and enough to make 2 small tacos. It was so good I was forced by my taste buds to get one to go as well. The corn tortilla didn't taste homemade but the flour did and it was delicious, light, and fresh. I will definitely be back to try more tacos.

Yelp
Used to go to this location on a near daily basis. Today was my last visit. I found a decent amount of melted plastic in my breakfast taco. I likely ate some. Not acceptable.

Yelp
Cheap tacos, decent flavor. It's a very simple restaurant with a nice feel to it that's basically a big upgrade on your average Mexican place. They do have a lot of meats and serve breakfast tacos all day too, which is a bonus. I wasn't super hungry so I just tried a barbacoa on flour and have to say it has all the hallmarks of good barbacoa - its moist, unctuous and flavorful on a nice tortilla. Definitely would be intersted in trying others.
