El Tejano’s Tex-Mex Presence Expands With New DTLA and WeHo Locations - Eater LA

"El Tejano Downtown opened over the weekend, and La Cienega’s opening is imminent with new signage and a fresh paint job. El Tejano first opened in North Hollywood in 2016 with a sweet Austin-style patio, with a second Woodland Hills location slightly over a year ago." - Mona Holmes

Great place. The staff and service during my visit on Friday at 2:00 PM was brilliant, attentive and fun. Big selection of new and changing beer selection. They serve craft cocktails and wine too. The food is always spectacular. I love everyone of they're burgers. See the uploaded photos of their Shroomin and Mac Daddy burgers. Utterly delicious.

I love this place! The food portions are huge and you can share them between two people. Great margarita specials too, comes out to about $6 each for some really large drinks. Update 3/14/19: came here for taco Thursday, $1 street tacos. They are small but they put a lot on them. We shared 6 of them and felt pretty satisfied, great flavor too. This place is pretty busy but the bartender handled the entire crowd pretty quickly.

Love this place. We started going to the Sherman Oaks location and were so happy when they opened up in Woodland Hills! Street parking is usually not a problem. There can be a wait at times (it is a fairly small restaurant) and unfortunately they do not take call-ahead reservations. The food is great, though. Burgers are amazing and you cannot leave without having one of their shakes! SO GOOD!!! Bartenders are all friendly and the drinks are good...not watered down. Highly recommend checking this spot out!

Horrible service. 25 min for first round. 20 for second. Place was half full. To pour one beer one scotch and one mixed drinks. Then the manager came to deliver second round after I suggested to our server it was taking too long. She was rude, dropped our drinks off, Never apologized for the wait and wouldn't compensate us after the server said they would be taken off bill. For a small place drinks should take 5-10 min. 25 is just lazy or stupidgin, either one I have no patience for. Never going back even though I loved their beer selection. Such a shame

The burgers and fries were great. The salads are huge! There is also a great beer menu. My only complaint is the speed of service. We frequently had empty glasses in front of us with no server in sight.

Very good beer selection and the prices are decent. Tables and chairs are comfortable, which is great is you are relaxing with friends enjoying a few cold ones! Atmosphere is pretty chill too, not bright but not super dark either. Music overhead could be slightly loud, which makes it more of a hang out spot than going a romantic date type of place. Imo.

I'm visiting the area for a family event. My partner and I hiked all day and wanted to have a good size dinner. we were still dressed in hiking clothes and decided to check out some local taco spots that also have tequila bars attached to them. Came across pretty good reviews for this location and decided that this was it. Food was subpar, drinks were really good. Frozen margaritas are excellent although advertisements and signage are extremely confusing in terms of cost of drinks. in general vegetables are cooked very well but meat is not the best and tastes pretty cheap. overall we decided that this spot is best used for drinking and eating in combination and that food qualifies strictly as drunk food. Meant to fill you and satisfy you when your taste buds are not working 100%.
