Best Falafel I’ve Had! I recently visited this small, cozy restaurant with only two tables, and I was blown away by their falafel. The flavor was incredible—crispy on the outside and perfectly seasoned on the inside. Despite the size of the place, the service was outstanding.

Amazing food, wonderful staff, everything is so fresh and delicious. They also accommodate for gluten free (you can swap pita for cucumbers if you need with your hummus!) Love this place.

I ordered the falafel pita wrap with tzatziki and fries. Couldn’t really taste the chick peas. The other items in the wrap were fine. Fries were good. Fast service, the cashier was pleasant, small restaurant with 3 tables and 4 stools at a counter to eat on.

First time trying this place and we loved it!!!! Can’t recommend enough. The crispy lemon potatoes were out of this worlddddd. So lemony and garlicy. Honestly topped our main plates. Both the chicken and steak were so delicious. The atmosphere was great and clean. Such a great place to eat! Definitely worth stoping and trying it out for yourself!

Good was fantastic quality. Lamb gyros, meat was perfectly cooked, fresh tomatoes, home made tzatziki. Staff was incredibly kind and courteous, restaurant was very clean and cute. You won’t have an hours long dinner there but it’s perfect if you’re looking for good food and quality. Fries come with parsley and Parm.

This was one of the best Greek meals I’ve had in a while! Falafel was made with love and unique flavor, lamb was delicious and tender. Served with those bright and vibrant flavors you expect from Greek food. 10/10 Greek takeout

The food would be so much better if it was less salty. Fresh ingredients, reasonable portion size. Just so salty it doesn’t let you taste anything else in your meal. I would buy so much more if I could handle the salt.

This was our first visit, and we ordered quite a spread: gigantes, the salmon bowl with quinoa pilgouri salad and tahini, the shaved beef brisket bowl with rice and tzatziki, the lamb gyro with tahini (though it came with tzatziki instead), the traditional Greek salad, Greek lemon potatoes, moussaka, chicken avgolemono soup, spanakopita, and baklava. It was definitely more food than we needed for four people, but we were eager to try as much as possible. Overall, everything was fantastic, and I would gladly order it all again--except for the soup. Three out of four of us found it too sour. I've had avgolemono soup before and, based on the reviews, I was expecting it to be my favorite, but it missed the mark. The restaurant has limited parking outside and a cozy amount of seating inside. There's no restroom available, so keep that in mind if you plan to dine in. The service was warm and accommodating; we requested hot water, which isn't typically offered, but they made it work for us. The food was excellent, though on the pricier side. If you're looking for ambiance, however, this may not be the place, as the focus is clearly on the food.

Very filling bowl and very healthy! Gotten it delivered so many times and decided to come in and was surprised with how small it was but was in and out!

So good! Delicious Mediterranean/Greek food near LMU and Otis College of Art and Design. It's a very small spot in a strip mall. There are a few small tables inside and a small bar area for a quick bite and go. The staff is super nice and accommodating to help you choose the best items. It is reasonably priced and a must go to if you're in the area looking for a good meal.

I gave this place a second chance but the food is just horrible. I tried the mousaka this time. It's was bad very bad, I was just in Greece last month, the food here was nothing like Athens. I guess that's what happens when there's not one Greek chef cooking in the kitchen.

If you like Gyros and Mediterranean food! Look no further. This has been my spot for years for Lamb Gyros! Oh my God, the taste of the crackle and the flavor with the yogurt sauce, and all the vegetables on a nice warm pita is absolute heaven! Go here you need this!

AMAZING greek food in Venice! Such a great option for lunch or dinner take-out. Friendly staff and delicious options. Food is ready very quickly and great prices! I enjoyed the falafel platter - the falafel was the perfect amount of moist and flavorful, the hummus and other accoutrements were all so delicious. My partner enjoyed the Lamb Gyro and was impressed with how delicious it was as well! Will absolutely be ordering from Ela again and recommending it to all of our friends in the area.

I am very dissatisfied and disappointed. I ordered their Lamb Youvesti, and unfortunately the lamb was rotten. The smell was just unbearable. I don't know how the chef and the cashier were okay with serving me this smelly food. Then comes the gigantes, you cannot mess that one up. However, they've given me barely any. I could count the amount of beans I was given. I mean come on it's beans, fill the plate up. Sorry to say, this will be my last time to order from there.

Great food, friendly staff, sparkling clean, convenient locaion (just far enough from the beach to not be slammed 24/7). Highly recommended!

Do yourself a favor. Get the lamb here. In a bowl. In a salad. In a wrap. On the side. Just get it in some capacity. Those slow roasted, juicy, tender, and mouth watering flavors make the lamb the undeniable option at Ela. The chicken bowl with rice was also solid (I just added my side of lamb to that bowl). The rice and veggies were fresh and had nice, authentic, zesty spices. And the chicken was pretty good. But next time, I'll just get double lamb. The lamb stole the show. Ela's also has that hole-in-the-wall type charm. More of a to-go spot with its lack of space, but there are a few seats and tables inside if you choose to dine in. I wouldn't recommend dining in with more than 3 people here though. An excellent option for a healthy, fresh, and authentic meal. I'll for sure be back!

LAMB GYRO melted in my mouth Xtra Tzakiki cuz I'm Xtra Dont complain about the price, it's in a nice little plaza with some parking in expensive rent and high quality food that tastes decadent!

Decided to try this place out as I love Greek food and it is right next door to Wholefoods and my local smoke shop. So glad I stopped in! The food here is delicious and is very quickly made - I was in and out in 5 minutes. I got the lamb bowl with quinoa and tahini sauce and it was impeccable, bursting with flavor. The lamb was diced nicely and had the most perfect crunch to it. Can't wait to come back.

Came here for a casual dinner on a Thursday night. I'd been wanting to try Ela Greek Eats for awhile and the food didn't disappoint. The ambiance here is very casual. It's a small storefront in a strip meal in Venice. There is street parking nearby and a car park where Ela is situated, although with very few spaces. The food is cheap and cheerful (most things are under $20). I got the falafel bowl the first time I came, which included falafel, salad, quinoa, and assorted vegetables drizzled with a yoghurt sauce. The falafel was well made and everything was fresh and went well together. My husband got the chicken shawarma, which he enjoyed. We also shared the lemon potatoes, which were delicious and satisfying. They have a sign that says there is no public bathroom for customers, so it's best not to eat here. The ambiance is very casual; it's more of a spot where you eat quickly and leave. Service here is friendly. Would recommend this spot if you're wanting cheap, somewhat healthy food, and want to get takeaway.

Shredded Lamb Bowl Is Fire here. I am a big fan of lamb, and I am glad it is becoming more popular on menue's now. We also had lunch here recently, and I got the Shredded lamb plate which was delicious. Nice staff, nice gem here set on the beach. Can't wait to come back again.

I love this place so much. It's pretty tiny but never real crowded inside. I think the wait for the meal isn't very long either. I'll come on my lunch hour and never have waited more than a few minutes for my meal. I love their Lamb gyro. Some much fresh veggies, banging flavors, and a lot of meat. It's somewhat higher price but still very filling and amazing flavor. I like how consistently good their food, ingredients and service is. And will I be back? Indubitably

This place is amazing. The chicken bowl. Falafel bowl. Lemon potatoes. Greek salad. Spanokopita. Omg so so good! There's not a whole lot of seating so usually I call in about 15-20 mins before then pick up and eat at home with a good movie! Highly recommend

Ela is one of my go-to lunch spots. Pretty simple and healthy menu. I've become one of their regulars this year because of the healthy food, and quick and efficient service. Even if you go there and order, your food will be ready in 5mins. There are a few tables inside but it's not suitable for a big group. It's also very clean inside! Parking is available.

Easily the best gyro I have ever had in my life! I ordered the shredded lamb gyro. Highly recommended!

The food is so delicious I was so happy my coworker directed me to this Greek heaven in LA. Not the best place to sit and eat. Me and my girl went to a park near by and enjoyed every bite of it! The lemon potatoes were a blast, also the spinach Spanakopita thing. Excellent gyro and pitas!! Must try :)

This place is in a really random plaza, so it is truly a gem. Very delicious! We accidentally ordered the chicken, but they're known for the lamb, so we ordered a side of lamb, and the portion is so big. I wish I took a photo of it. The bowl was really good, I really liked the salad that comes in the bowl. The citrisy flavors really compliment the sauce they use and the meats. If I lived near the area, I can see my self ordering from here very often!

While Ela Greek Eats is a pricier option and seems to have smaller portion than other spots. the gyros are some of the best I've ever had.

To go. Got home and food was still fresh and warm. The salads are flavorful with oregano on salmon. Such a pleasant taste. The hummus is flavorful and chunky. Salmon was nice and juicy. The service was quick. Very nice staff. I only wished the to go would be on a different plate. The Bowl is made of recycled paper so the juices of the salad come through Onto everything. The place is small for a quick bite or to go.

If you like authentic Greek food then this is the spot. Very small location but the food is amazing. The service is great they explain the menu and even have pictures for you to see. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Saw sooo many reviews on the lamb gyro and fries (all amazing) so i decided to give it a try. Called over the phone so it was ready when i got there. Parking is limited but available. Flavor wise it was ok - i think the big distractor for me was how fatty the cut of lamb was. I also ordered fries and didn't realize they weren't added until after (simple mistake) Overall, decent experience. Will try again later.

Such great food every single time! Tried the fries for the first time, and I'm obsessed. The beef brisket bowl is my go to-I'm not even a huge brisket fan, but this is that good!

Ela Greek Eats is one of the places I have not patronized since the pandemic hit, so I made it a point to get some curbside food and check in on how they were doing. I was relieved to find they are busy with several people waiting, picking up, or ordering at 1pm during a weekday. Everyone behind the counter wore masks, but depending on the clientele, some were not spaced and some were. I got the falafel bowl with tzatziki and quinoa and salad, that ended up being my favorite of all the items I ordered! The salad was fresh and the falafel were light and crisp. The spanakopita was very good, with flakey filo and a spinach and feta filling. The chicken exohiko was drier than the last time I ate it here, with less mushrooms, carrots, and celery, and more chicken, slivered nuts and pesto. The chicken itself was moist, but I preferred the creamier version they served pre pandemic. The moussaka was redolent with nutmeg and spices, a comfort food if ever there was one, topped with bechamel and potatoes, filled with eggplant and zucchini. This was easily enough for 2 servings.

Good lord this is good! I've been jones-ing for good casual Greek eats since I left Boston, and I always came up disappointed, until I discovered Ela. I was visiting the pet store next store when I noticed this shiny, clean gem that emitted the familiar odor of delish! I'm a huge fan of 4 dishes: Lamp wrap; Chicken wrap; shaved beef bowl; and, lamb bowl. Highly recommend you go with their tzatziki sauce. You really can't go wrong with any of the dishes, but I will say their chicken is among the best I've ever had (and I don't usually order chicken). They also have delicious Greek fries, but you have to eat them freshly served, as they don't hold well when they cool off. Don't love their baklava, but that's only because I like them super sweet, dripping in honey. Huge recommend!

Love the Greek salad. Takes me back to Santorini. I haven't tried anything else due to my love of the salad! Staff very efficient preparing the food.

The greek salad was excellent. Dressing great, feta, olives tomatoes & peppers cut big. All fresh flavorful, delicious and nutritious. My friend enjoyed her gyro I had ordered and had stood inside waiting on the salad for like 3 minutes, then the girl asked me to put a mask on, and I didnt and I waited outside instead. Though she should've asked me to put it on as I walked in or before I ordered, not 5 minutes later and make the customer uncomfortable. Simple menu. Clean. Cool interior. Food good. Just the Mask rationale is arbitrary.

My only 3 star review ever here's what! The dish (falafel with rice) looks good but in inside is just burnt falafel and some rice with sauce on the top as well as a small amount of good salad. The server is good looking from outside but then again in inside carries the im better that you attitude so in return for asking just one side sauce for 3 orders of 43.48$ she wants to charge me 3$ not fair.

I love this place. Seriously, the food is fresh, never greasy, and full of flavor. Such a good stop for a quick lunch or takeout. I love to support this small business! Location is really centrally located on the west side with a parking lot.

Fantastic! Wish I had asked for plain fries for my kid, but I loved the seasoning they put on them. My falafel gyro was awesome. Def will eat here the next time I'm in Venice!

The restaurant is run by a real Greek ! They make the best salads and potatoes. The service is great . Very clean inside . I had the best lunch , healthy food .

Unbelievable food located in this small strip mall. They had a special that was lamb with orzo and a red sauce and from the first bite it was unbelievably good. As high quality as you'd find in any sit down restaurant but at a very reasonable price for the quality (unfortunately it was the last order of that dish that was available or I'd have ordered more and brought them home). We had spanakopita and baklava as well and both amazing too! Service was friendly and Stella explained everything we wanted to know. We'll be back soon, and on a regular basis!

Best avgolemono I have ever had!! so amazing, get it at least once a week! I've had many from different places and states and this one takes the cake. DELICIOUS

Yum yum! My friend recommended this place to me. He's Greek and says that this is an amazing spot for authentic Greek food. This is a "fast casual" spot: you order at the counter and wait for them to make your food. There are a couple small tables inside the restaurant, but it's quite warm inside the restaurant, so I'm not sure if I'd want to dine in there. Seems like this is a very popular take-out spot. While waiting for my food, I saw a steady stream of people stopping by to order take-out or picking up take-out. Given that the food seems to be made to order, I'd recommend ordering in advanced for take-out, so you don't have to wait as long. I ordered the bowl, since this seemed to have a good combination of everything. Oh my gosh...the lamb is sooooo delicious! So flavorful, but not gamey. Tender. But with a nice char on the outside. The rice was pretty good too. They put a lot of tzatziki sauce, but as others have mentioned, their tzatziki sauce is delicious! I will definitely be back to try other items on their list, in particular, some of their "traditional" greek options.

Amazing addition to the area. I can comfortably admit the lamb gyro is the best I've ever had. The tzatziki sauce is sooo good. I had an urge to order the black eyed peas which were surprisingly enjoyable. The staff is so friendly, the owner gave me a free desert after asking about it. I'll be back for sure!

This is the hole in the wall we all crave. A small spot in a mini mall, it has about ten seats. Most customers seem to get takeaway. Carlos is a supremely friendly host. We got falafel pita, lamb gyro pita, Greek salad, hummus and pita, and baklava. Everything is house made and fresh. It was particularly notable to me, a gyro fanatic, that the lamb was fresh since most places offer frozen, or worse, pressed and formed. The cucumber, mint, and tzatziki were fantastic. Similarly, the hummus and falafel were just perfect. Carlos gave us extra pita for the hummus. Oh, and the salad was generous with feta and the dressing was delicious, and the baklava was light and tasted wonderfully of honey and nuts, and wasn't too heavy as so much baklava tends to be. So, we are big fans and recommend this place without hesitation.

I wish they had more Ela Greek Eats! I used to live in Santa Monica but moved to Larchmont Village and one of the places I miss most Ela Greek Eats. Their lamb bowl with tzatziki is hands down the best lamb bowl around. It's a generous serving as well and the chicken egg lemon soup is the most comforting when you need an extra bit of love!

We tried this being hangry, i must say, the food here is delicious. Healthy too. I got their lamb plate with quinoa and the mix of warmth and cold was so good and irresistible.

I love lamb! In NY there are tons of places with gyros , but let's face it - It's hard to find here on the Westside. And though this place isn't much on ambiance , the food is delicious and the staff is friendly. Even a side of pita bread (perfectly toasted with just the right amount of olive oil ) is killer.

I would give this 10 Yelp stars and Michelin stars if I could! Just across from Wholefoods (Wholepaycheck) I stumbled across this little take-out/food order-place - I noticed the clean cut white and azure tile in the corner of the mini-mall-- I ordered the falafel wrap (pita) just to dip my toes in, and was transported across the waters to Hydra! So authentic and healthy-tasty, I've been looking for a great falafel place for so long, but now want to try some of the other delights on the menu, will dive in!
