Electric Beets

This place is great! The atmosphere is chill and cool, but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. I originally got hooked on their fresh daily smoothies, but now i always grab a jar of peanut sauce to cook with later.

What an amazing place! I’ve known owner, Cecily, for years and she’s definitely got the Midas touch! Anything she puts her mind to and invests time into is sure to be a total success and Electric Beets is no exception! Her knowledge with food prep, allergies, and customer service make this a must visit place. The food was absolutely amazing, healthy and beautifully packaged. Every detail of her store front is something to brag about! I’m not sure when I’ll be visiting Brooklyn again, but guaranteed my first visit will be Electric Beets! Thank you for a 5-star experience! ❤️

This place is a must-visit. What stands out most is the amount of healthy options available. I highly recommend the Buffalo Chik’n Wrap, the Crunchy Veggie Peanut Salad, the Breakfast Burrito, and the Mac & Cheese with Crispy Tofu Nuggets and more..🥰 The owner is exceptionally kind, understanding, and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. Though I'm not vegan, I'm completely addicted to this place's food. Give it a try—you won't be disappointed!

Delicious vegan food conveniently located in Brooklyn. It was our first time here and the owner patiently explained to us the mission behind Electric Beets and walked us through the food offerings. The food itself was delicious, affordably priced, and quickly prepared. There’s plenty to try and a good mission behind the product. Definitely worth stopping in!

My family follows a gluten and dairy-free diet, and after searching extensively, we discovered Electric Beets. We had breakfast there on our first morning and instantly fell in love—not just with the menu options, but with the owner herself. She is incredible! Her deep knowledge of healthy food, combined with her warm, positive aura, truly sets her apart. She is incredibly friendly, genuine, and an amazing soul. We highly recommend her establishment, whether you're into health food or simply want to experience some truly amazing cuisine.

Since discovering Electric Beets about a year ago, we’ve made lunches, dinners and random visits for snacks a regular habit. Since we all have some dietary goals, it was such a relief to find a restaurant where everyone in our family can order anything on the menu. I love the mushroom sausage, breakfast burrito and enchiladas. Cecily, the owner, has been generous with her time and chatted with us about recipes and tips for cooking at home. We also love to hang out a bit and add to the art wall. They play good music too! We highly recommend checking it out!!

I love the grab and go concept! I read the reviews before stopping by here and one that stuck out to me was about the crunchy veggie peanut salad so when I seen it in the cooler, I grabbed it and I’m glad that I did because it was delicious, crunchy, very fresh and just the perfect amount of dressing included with it, which also tasted amazing and you can tell that it’s made in house. Salad was perfectly portioned and well priced considering that most of the vegan restaurants around here have ridiculous prices for salads.

I was greeted warmly when I walked through the door, which alone prompted me to come for a second visit. Genuinely delightful owner overseeing a wholesome grab and go operation. I’ve tried their japchae, spring rolls (with both peanut and sweet chili sauce), gluten free vegan mac and cheese, and crunchy vegetable salad. If you’re not allergic to nuts, I have to recommend the peanut sauce - I would drink it on its own, but it’s delicious on top of the salads and spring rolls.

Really delicious vegan options for sweets! The food items and soups are delicious but do not sleep on the sweet treats! My favorite are the donuts from Sixteen Mill Bakeshop. They come in different flavors such as vanilla raspberry and chocolate cherry. The frosting is smooth and creamy and the donut cake is dense and moist. They're $9 per donut, but a solid option/special treat if you're looking for vegan sweets.

Decided to stop here for lunch with a friend and was really pleasantly surprised! My friend got the breakfast burrito and I got the sunflower Mac n cheese and both were so delicious! Even though the food was in the refrigerator, the staff offered to warm it up so we could eat it there. Everything was super tasty and fresh. I talked to who I assume was the owner as she noticed I had just finished a race and we bonded over running. Super super friendly and kind staff. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Lovely spot. The owner and staff were helpful and friendly. I was going to buy a wrap that wasn't GF and the cashier caught it. There was a nice selection as well. The allergen labels weren't so visible but it was an otherwise good experience to get GF good to go.

Came here because I was attracted to all the signs that said gluten free/no seed oils. Just love their attention to detail when it comes to being health forward. I left with the green smoothie which was refreshing after a workout.

Electric Beets has an extensive selection of foods which are all vegan. Most of their prepared foods can be eaten as is or warmed up. They have little to no processing to their foods and rely on using whole foods. On the occasions I've visited the staff have been welcoming and friendly. There's some seating options but it is more of a grab and go style. They have delicious food but I especially love their desserts. The date, almond, cranberry and zucchini brownie is a must!

This place is great! One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. Loved the sausage and the smoothy as well. Can't wait to go back and try more of their offerings. The food was great, the service was excellent, and the selection and variety was outstanding. And it's great that it's all plant based. Absolutely love this place. We'll be back!

Food is always so good and their staff are so sweet. Soup haven. Hearty salads for only $12-13 which is unheard of in this area! Stocked with healthy grab and gos and fresh made stuff. love this place

Plant Based Eaters, unite! Great food, good concept, nice people! This is exactly the kind of place we've been looking for in Brooklyn. Clean, fresh, thoughtfully prepared food, ready to take home. We especially loved the Beet Burgers, Mushroom Sausage and the lasagna. The portions are big enough for multiple meals, and can be added to one of your own favorite recipes as a protein boost. I really appreciate this place - major but - I went in just now and the two customer service folks insisted that they would not take my $100 bill for a $40 purchase - because they've been having a problem with fakes. I happen to not be a regular park slope person with many extra dollars on my card. I could only pay for lunch for myself and my kid with this cash. I had to get pretty animated to insist back that they call the boss of the establishment to ask to make an exception and go ahead and check that my bill was not a fake. I was asked to "be respectful" but I do not feel I was treated with respect whatsoever in this case. They did call their boss. I run a public facing retail business and there are always exceptions but for me to have to insist and border line raise my voice... to pay for my food?

My first meal here and it was delicious. The barbecue sauce was spicy with some nice sweet and crispy contrast from the coleslaw. So good that even this omnivore is ready for a return trip.

Love this place!!! Wish we live close by so can grab their incredibly delicious cooked food and baked goods easily. Everything in the store is refined sugar free which is so appreciated and on top of all so flavored bursting with umami. We've been picking up a few items on the weekend for weekday meals. The japchae (coconut sugar) is so good and finally not a greasy and overly sweet japchae like most Korean places. All the soups and chili we tried were fresh and yummy. The lasagna was amazing too. They also sell Sixteenmill baked goods which are delicious, vegan and refined sugar free. The owners are friendly and passionate about quality food!

I've been coming here since it opened in Dec and I've loved everything I've tried! I just today had the Buffalo Chik'n Wrap and it's motivated me to finally sing the beet electric. I'm loving this wrap so much. It's delicious --spicy and full of favor. Lots of protein but not from processed or fried fake meats. All of the food here is homemade and most of it seems to be being made when you visit because it smells so good in here. Oh and I've loved the SCONES so much. My favorite was the chocolate, hazelnut, date scone. The breakfast wrap is also excellent. I brought a sheet of their amazing lasagna to a dinner party and everyone LOVED it! When the weather finally warms up, this vegan will be filling his picnic basket up here and walking the two blocks to Prospect Park for the perfect picnic. I cannot wait!

We visited this lovely little shop yesterday. We did a take out of a luscious lasagne. There were 4 of us sharing this for dinner. It was more than enough for all of us for dinner. It hit all the right notes. Flavorful, well seasoned , not salty or oily. The woman at the register was lovely and informed and so helpful! From someone who is not a vegan... I think this is a wonderful alternative addition to the neighborhood . Can't wait to go back again!
