Opened in 2025 by chef Tom Gray in the historic San Marco Theatre, this newcomer fuses Roman‑style dough with Detroit‑inspired edges for crispy, cheesy rectangles. Covered by local news and business media, it’s already a buzzed‑about slice of San Marco.

We dined in the bar. Service was exceptional with Cetty. We were hungry so we dove right in. The table had a couple peronis and a spritz which looked legit. Great attention to detail on atmosphere and modern Italian style. The pies were excellent. Very tasty Detroit style with that signature buttery crust that tastes amazing every bite. The quality of the ingredients shine through. We had the mighty Quinn and the baller. Both were fantastic. I wish I'd had remembered to take a pic before I started destroying them. Also got some quality gelato. Really good. Highly recommend.

We arrived on a Friday night almost at closing time. They took our order and it didn't take long for us to get our pizza. The sodas at the soda fountain are different from the regular ones. I really liked them, and the pizza is good but nothing spectacular. As for taste, there are no fixed rules. My wife was delighted with the place. To me, it seems pretentious, something that tries to be but doesn't quite live up to it. Perhaps something more classic would have fit better with the aura of the place. That said, the service is good and it's worth the money, since they made us another pizza even though the kitchen had already closed, which is always appreciated.

I came here for the first time. Omg was so good. I got the lunch specicial- which includes pepperoni or cheese pizza, caesar salad and an organic fountain drink. It was soooo delicious. 10/10 recommend. The spinach dip is everything. I will definitely visit again. The atmosphere was awesome as it use to be the San Marco theater. They had an old film projector on display. Great vibe as well. There is something for everyone.

Had a great experience here- walked in with some friends in the last hour before closing just to check the menu out. Christian from BOH talked to us about the menu and offered options for me because I’m dairy-free. We ended up ordering a pizza and got the mama Mia pizza with vegan cheese. We asked to have the feta and spinach + artichoke spread on the side for my friends to add to their slices. Overall amazing pizza. Thank you for being very accommodating. Christian was so kind and helpful and honestly made the experience for us. Thanks, we’ll be back :)

If you fancy an eclectic ambiance with good natured scenery - then topped with delicious pies... Hit "Directions" and go in your vehicle with your best pal and come on down! This used to be the old San Marco theater and the vibes are telling of that. Beautiful people with even more attractive food really Sallies up the place! I enjoyed their "Momma-Mia" pizza. I'm a health nut and this was the acorn of my eye. Plenty of seating and aroma is everywhere you turn. The bar in the back was stocked and the employee were all super polite and helpful. So going back this week. Hope to see you there.

Five of us went here for dinner one night. Pizza was delicious. We ordered 3, Buffalo Zing, Six cheese and Detroit Baller. The dough was soft but crunchy on the sides, the toppings were perfectly spaced on top and the pizzas looked like art. All 3 were delicious!! It was enough food to feed all of us. The fountain drinks were amazing, from the Tractor Beverage Co. organic fountain sodas! Cannot go wrong with any flavor! The restaurant is in an old movie theatre which was pretty cool. Atmosphere was chill. Perfect for anytime eating!!!

Delicious Detroit-Style Pizza in a Unique Theater Setting Loved the crispy, flavorful Detroit-style pizza — definitely a highlight! Not too much sauce. The bread was tasty. Prices are on the higher side. The ambiance is super cute, with fun touches from the space’s old theater roots. They also serve ice cream/gelato (we didn’t try it, but it looked interesting). Great spot if you’re craving something indulgent with a cool vibe.

Google
I live local to this place. We think Electric Dough is a great addition to the San Marco neighborhood. The owner / operator is committed to quality of food and experience as he’s demonstrated in many other great local restaurants. We are pleased they’ve maintained the energy and feel of the historic movie theater that was previously in the spot. The interior design is a great example of preserving and improving what came before. Look for little clues like the screen showing old movies. The pizza is great and is quite similar to that served at Prati Italia. Our only suggestion for menu enhancement comes from my wife who asks for a broader selection of salads. Give this new San Marco icon a try!

Yelp
Electric Dough is one of my new regular spots. I've been a few times and it's consistently great. The buffalo chicken pizza is damn good and full of flavors, and the Caesar salad is fresh, croutons great, and perfectly dressed. Concetta is fantastic and always makes us feel welcome, and the guys in the kitchen do an excellent job getting everything out hot and consistent. The beer on tap is great - raging blonde my favorite. Highly recommend - no expense has been spared on the renovation!!

Yelp
I tried the lovely spot in San Marco with a friend and the food did not disappoint! To start, I found this place to be a really cute and casual spot for happy hour or a deep dish pizza dinner! The decor gives it that retro vibe and it's fitting for both a chill dinner or a big girls night gathering. They had a very nice drink menu with both beer, wine and craft cocktails. We ended up just getting wine, but I would definitely love to try some of their fun drinks. For food we went with the basics. We split classic caprese and ceasar salad. The pizza was good and very flavorful. They have a lot of different options on the menu as well that gave it a unique twist to pizza. I'm glad I checked the spot out and I'll add it to my list of happy hour hangouts!

Yelp
I came to electric dough to see what all the buzz was about. Interior is what I like to call boujee industrial modern funk (not to be confused with the music genre). Initially what bothered me was that the line to order is where the entrance and exit doors are... on a weekend evening it's just madness.. the order line blocks people from getting in and out. Customer Service is pleasant and perky. I ordered 2 different types of pizza, appetizer, and a drink. Meatballs - a lot better than they looked. they are on the tiny side. 7.8/10 Classic Caprese - wasn't a big fan. 6/10 Godfather - They've got the meats 8/10 Additionally, they went with Tractor for their beverages (organic, non gmo); I like the idea.. but the majority of the sodas were a hard pass. While the pizza here is good, it's not craveable.

Yelp
We came on Halloween night since we were in the neighborhood and hungry. I was very impressed with the inside when walking in. Signage was good so we weren't confused on what to do. Order first then find a seat. The pizza, oh my the dough is great and tasty! Im used to NY style pizza but this is great and addicting honestly haha. I love the crunch outside and the soft inside. It is very pricy but at least the atmosphere and the food are all great.

Yelp
Electric Dough Pizza Co. arrived on the scene with plenty of buzz, so our expectations were high going in. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell a bit short. Cocktails The drinks were a miss for us. My espresso martini was poorly executed, lacking foam, served messily, and looking as if it had been sloshed around before reaching the table. The poor beans had nothing to really stay on. The Old Fashioned was better, though it leaned too sweet for my husband's taste. Food The highlight of the evening was, surprisingly, the meatballs. Though small, they were tender, flavorful, and topped with marinara, parmesan, and fresh basil. I'd definitely order them again. The pizza, however, was underwhelming. Given their focus on "Roman style" pizza, I expected it to come out with a crisp crust. Instead, the pizza arrived lukewarm, with the cheese was already set and center of the pizza dough was pretty much room temperature. It gave the impression that the pizzas might be prebaked and reheated, and ours needed more time in the oven. While Electric Dough Pizza Co. shows potential, it didn't quite live up to the hype. A few improvements in execution and attention to detail would help elevate the overall experience.

Yelp
Surprisingly delicious pizza. It is not a traditional New York round style. It's thick but light and square like a Detroit style. The soda was a little expensive and it's only one soecialty brand. So if you don't like the flavors your kind of stuck with it. There are a lot of seating, a full bar, and gelato for desert. Server was very attentive.
google avatar

Danielle H.

Yelp
Nice place, delicious food, fair prices. Stopped in for a late lunch and enjoyed the whipped ricotta trio (the Calabrian chili was my favorite) and the caprese pizza. Both were very good and enjoyed the discounted beers thanks to a happy hour that starts at 3:14pm. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Parking in San Marco is always a challenge, but we made the trip just for pizza at Electric Dough, and it didn't disappoint. The space is stylish, with a bar, a movie screen, and a semi-private area for a more relaxed vibe. We tried The Mighty Quinn, a meatless pizza with mushrooms, truffle aioli, arugula, and cacio e pepe sauce. Surprisingly flavorful and satisfying. The Godfather II was a hearty, meat-loaded option with pepperoni, salami, and sausage, also delicious. Their crust is thick and crispy, just how I like it. A bit pricey for the portion size, but overall, still worth recommending.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
If you are a fan of thick crust pizza and in the San Marco area this is the place for you. Thick crust, delicious sauce and a great selection of flavors to pick from.

Yelp
We recently paid a visit to Electric Dough in Sam Marco. When you walk in, you'll see a very clean, eclectic interior with bright, white brick walls, unique lighting and just a touch of elegance. They also do a great job of honoring the historic fact that this was once a movie theater. A huge old school movie camera is at the entrance and they air silent movies on the white wall of the dining room to enhance the mood. You order upon walking in, take a number and they bring your food to you. Our service was friendly, quick and attentive. You are also given your cup and there is a vast selection of Tractor drinks to choose from. I tried the diet soda and no sugar added fruit drinks along with the iced tea. They were all very good. Even if you're a NY or Chicago style purist, I highly encourage you to try the pizza here. It's "Detroitish" style and very good. Thick crust but light and flaky. Great edges and flavorful. We tried the Caio a Pepe which featured a delicious blend of three different cheeses. We also ordered the Mediterranean salad which was delicious as well. In fact, putting the salad atop of the pizza was a brilliant food hack that was extremely tasty. Very reasonably priced as well for what you get. Try this place out. You'll be glad you did.

Yelp
First time here and so glad we decided to try it. Highly recommend reviewing the menu ahead since you order at the counter. We decided on a pizza and salad to share. The Mediterranean salad was perfectly dressed and paired well with the six cheese Cacio e Pepe pizza we ordered. The pizza crust was crispy with a fluffy and airy dough. Everything tasted fresh and we enjoyed this different pizza experience. They have happy hour specials daily on food, drinks and gelato too. Service was great, from ordering at the counter, to our food with plates and utensils brought to our table. We enjoyed the craft sodas and drinks that were self serve. The space is fun and relaxed, with additional seating on the sidewalk outside and a separated indoor bar area.

Yelp
This was an unexpected pleasant surprise. I had heard about this place since it opened recently after the Theater that was there closed down. The place has a great ambiance with tall ceilings and a generally pleasant vibe. Well lit and comfortable seating. The bar in the back was especially nice. I will need to return since my visit was very short. My friends got a few focaccia pizzas which I thought were superb. I tasted two of them and they had a good kick. The service seemed to be excellent and the old fashioned I got to enjoy was top notch. Can't wait to go back and take pictures and share with more detail. It's definitely not just another pizza joint.
google avatar

Karen C.

Yelp
We sat at the bar so we could enjoy a cocktail before ordering. The bartender served us fairly quickly. Right after we placed a food order a family with a baby sat right next to t to us at the bar. I didn't think children were allowed at the bar?? We ordered the Ricotta trio with toast points. The ricotta was delicious but the "toast points" were really only pieces of bread warmed up. I did enjoy the pizza - pickled onions, artichoke pieces, arugula, banana peppers. I know they're fairly new so I'll wait a few months before we go back again to give it another try.
google avatar

Yelp
Meowza! What a tasty treat!!! I can't get over the texture of this pizza!! It's so light and fluffy but also has a crunchy crust!! During my first visit, the staff was helpful with explaining the menu and pointing out their offerings. The vibe is relaxed and can be a quick bite before going out for the night or a great way to lounge and close out the evening. I love how they kept some of the charm of the old movie theatre and provide a space that can be used in many ways along with an intimate bar area and delicious food.
google avatar

Makeda L.

Yelp
Amazing new location in the San Marco area. The old movie theater has been renovated into an astonishing masterpiece. The decor is beautiful with great service and staff. The drinks are top notch with awesome pizza . Awesome location to hang out and enjoy the nice atmosphere.

Yelp
First experience at Electric Dough and it was a great one. I love the atmosphere and you can either have full table service or order at the counter. We dined for lunch and had the recommended Mighty Quinn which if you're a mushroom fan you will absolutely love the fresh local mushrooms! The thick crust is buttery and delicious. After having gelato in Italy and having high expectations, the hazelnut crunch had a nice flavor but I thought could definitely be a little creamier. The raspberry was delightfully light and refreshing. The variety of Tractor beverages to choose from and mix and match was SO fun and yummy! Looking forward to returning and trying some other things!

Yelp
This place is adorable ! I love the design that they went with! They have indoor and outdoor seating. Low tops and high tops! You order when you walk in then sit wherever you want! Lots of Detroit style pizzas to choose from ! You can even add on to one if you get a speciality ! The prices seemed very fair to me! A large was great for 2 young women to split and we had 3 slices left over ! The pizza was light and fluffy but still crispy! They were able to split the salad for the 2 of us and bring on separate plates! We missed happy hour by 2 minutes but it looked like they had great deals for happy hour as well! They came and checked on us many times and cleared our plates while we were eating, the service was really great! I can't wait to go back
google avatar

Yelp
Loved the relaxed, creative vibe at Electric Dough Pizza in Jacksonville. Ordering is split between counter and table service, but the food more than makes up for it. The deep-dish crust is crisp yet airy -- a pleasant surprise. Tried the Godfather and the Mighty Quinn (with truffle arugula and a cacio e pepe sauce), and both were excellent. Fresh salad, friendly atmosphere, and great for a chill pizza night. Highly recommend! After dining, San Marco area is a great place to walk and roam around a bit to the neighboring shops.

Yelp
This is definitely my new go to for Detroit/Roman style pizza that's light and airy, with that signature crispy crust we all love! Housed in the historic San Marco Theater, they've kept some of the old school charm and added a bold, new, modern flavor. Chef Tom Gray is bringing us bubbling hot and flavorful slices with gluten-free options, my favorites are The Godfather and The Mighty Quinn! They also serve creamy gelato, tasty salads, and craft drinks that are sure to hit the spot! Be sure to stay tuned for their "Happiest Hour" that will kick off during the week at exactly 3:14 PM with tasty specials that are as smart as they are satisfying. Electric Pizza Dough Co. recently celebrated their Grand Opening, and I can definitely see it becoming a new pizza obsession!
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Solid new pizza place at the old San Marcos Theater. The esthetics are on point and it has a dedicated bar area ideal for happy hour; also lots of seating options indoor and outdoor. The service was very friendly and they had plenty of staff to help around. As for the pizza expect a Chicago style with lots of interesting flavor combinations you wouldn't find somewhere else. A large pizza can easily feed 3 people.
google avatar

Maisha R.

Yelp
We visited Electric Dough on opening day just after the lunch hour. There was a steady stream of customers but it wasn't overly packed while we were there. The menu has a few appetizers, notably all with cheese; salads; signature pizzas; a build-your-own pizza section; and a kids menu with three options. They also have a gelato case with dairy and non-dairy (sorbet) options, and a soon-to-be option to pick up food to heat at home. We tried the Detroit Baller pizza and a kids pepperoni plate. The pizza is all Detroit-style, with cheese and toppings over the entirety of the pizza to the edge and it's made to order. They looked well done and they were both very good. The focaccia like crust was soft and pillowy with a great little crunch. The Detroit Baller one had perhaps one too many sauces - calabrian chili aioli, cacio y pepe sauce, and Ed's red sauce drizzle. The meatballs were really the only solid topping and they were scarce. The pepperoni pizza ate a little dry and perhaps could've benefited from a little more sauce. The location is easy to find with an industrial type bar vibe inside with TVs and a message projected on the wall. The Tractor sodas were very sweet but some of the flavors were interesting such as coconut or lemongrass. I enjoyed the teas, lemonades, and other flavored drinks better. I sampled the strawberry pitaya tractor slushee, which didn't have much sweetness to it. This will likely be a popular place and I'm glad we were able to try it early. If parking weren't such an issue in the area, I'm sure we'd plan to stop by several more times to try some of their other menu items.
google avatar

Tatty C.

Yelp
I brought friends and they said it was the best pizza they ever had which is really high praise. I think it must be the Parmesan crusted edges. Some Like it hot and Godfather II are great pies. The back bar is gorgeous. It is very good.
google avatar

Kristy K.

Yelp
Visited this newly opened pizza (and more) shop in the old San Marco Theatre. It was fun to try to remember where everything was when you walked in. The remodel is beautiful. It's spacious for plenty of people and really nicely put together. Tried the cacio e pepe and the Godfather pizzas. The cacio e pepe was very mild in flavor but great if you love cheese. Not much of a pepper flavor though. The Godfather was much more flavorful. Really nice dough on both. Crispy edges, moist inside. Parking here can be fairly difficult if you go at any popular hour, but that is just how San Marco is. But I say it's worth the effort.
google avatar

Bonnie Z.

Yelp
Our first visit here and we will be back. Either order at the counter and grab a seat or head to the back and sit at bar or other tables where you will be waited on. This is the former San Marco Theater. They kept some aesthetic in tact. Brick wall where they are showing vintage old movies. We sat at the bar. We ate the Ricotta Trio served with toasted bread chips. Very tasty! We also had the Caprese pizza. Pizza is Detroit style so nice and thick. Fun drink menu as well with a few cocktails on tap. Happy hour is 3:15-6
google avatar

Yelp
Today deserves 20 stars! This was the BEST pizza I have ever had! First, the crust was baked to perfection - soft in the middle crunch on the sides. The white sauce used was OUTSTANDING & truly service with a smile. The team is doing great! The remodel was tastefully done and u can almost picture where the big screen was located (& the projector in the lobby). The inside decor is warm and inviting. I will be returning as this is officially my new favorite San Marco restaurant and favorite pizza of all time!!!!
google avatar

Gabi Y.

Yelp
What a cool spot that took over the old theatre! I like how they kept some of that theatre charm. The pizza was yummy! We got the God father one and it was super flavorful. The ceaser salad was yummy too. Cute vibes.
google avatar

Katie P.

Yelp
What a fun place! I love how big the space was and how they transformed the old theater into a really fun hangout for families and groups! The style of the restaurant was trendy but also casual! Having quick service and not a huge menu was such a plus and super easy to make decisions! The pimento cheese was fire and the spicy pepper jelly was awesome on top! Loved the toasted bread points with it too! The pizzas were delicious! I love Detroit square cut style and these did not disappoint! And I loved the design of the location and just how funky fun it was! The conversations cards were such a great touch too! We had our 2 little ones with us so we brought Uno to play but those cards would have been perfect if we needed some entertainment!
google avatar

Vanessa T.

Yelp
Soooo yummy! First, love the build out, nice and new inside, open with out feeling cavernous, especially because this used to be a movie theater. Order at the counter then they bring you your food, we got 2 pizzas to try and a drink from their fancy soda fountain with wonderful flavors to try...lemongrass!! Lots of juices to try also. Now to the pizza it's delicious! I don't know how anyone could not like this, it is like a focaccia bread with cheese and toppings on it, so light and bouncy and crunchy on the edges. Love it! If you have tried Pratti pizza at the town center this is the same ( same Chef owner) I will say if your expecting papa Johns style pizza this is not it. And prices run a bit more, think about $25 per pizza, but getting better quality food. Ended the meal with gelato, tried the pistachio and it was amazing! Very creamy with great flavor, I would almost say better then the gelato I had just eaten in Italy a month ago! Can't wait to return!

Madison D.

Yelp
Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a solid pizza spot with a full bar. Great food, great drinks, (shoutout to our bartender Harry) great service. Will definitely be back!!!
google avatar

Yunior R.

Yelp
What used to be a movie theater is now a fantastic pizza place! The interior is super cute and very clean. Service was quick, and the staff were friendly and helpful. You place your order at the counter when you walk in, and they bring the food right to your table. There's also a bar on-site. The pizza was delicious, fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth a visit! We will be back!
google avatar

Jen C.

Yelp
Detroit style pizza. Just OK. The pizza dough is sourdough so it's a little airy and squishy. Ordered the Some like it Hot and I didn't even taste the sausage. It was overpowered by the kale on top. The goat cheese and sauce were good though. Had a glass of Cabernet, which I think was overpriced for a pizza place. Service was pretty good. Their seating was full but they clean up after people leave fairly quickly.
google avatar

Demetreus E.

Yelp
Quick and kind service. Delicious nice airy, crunchy dough, sweet pizza! Yummy Cesar salad , it taste very fresh!

Yelp
Date night with my hubs the other day at Electric Dough. First time here, and was very curious of what the inside would look like as I loved it as the original theatre. Set up was cute and open. The lighting gave a chill ambiance. Didn't catch our bartenders name, but the drinks were spot on! Pretty tasty old fashion! The pizza...was meh. Reminded me of Red Baron's oven pizzas. I would definitely come back for more drinks!

Yelp
We were very excited to try this new pizza spot, but were left underwhelmed. Ambiance: The decor and theme inside was very well done. I loved the little nods to the old San Marco Theater, including the old theater lights and the movie playing on the wall. It was very well done. There's plenty of table and booth seating inside and out. Bar: The bar menu was nicely done. I asked for a Bee's Knees which was off menu, and the bartender happily made it for me. The drink was very good. Food: This is where disappointment begins. For a family of 4, I paid $67 for a meal. This included a meatball app, medium pizza which my boyfriend and I shared, a chicken Caesar salad for my daughter, and a kids pepperoni pizza for my son. The kids pizza was all dough, barely any sauce and 4 pepperoni. There was so much dough, he didn't finish it. The Caesar dressing lacked flavor, but the chicken and croutons were good. The meatball apps was the best thing we ate, but for $14 and 7 tiny meatballs, it didn't seem worth the value. Our medium pizza with 6 slices was definitely not enough to fill us up. For almost $70 we all left still hungry. Overall: I love the space and the bar. I don't think we will ever go back though, the value for the portion size was not worth it. For almost $70 (which did not include my cocktail I paid for separately) I want to be able to feed my family.

Yelp
This place is great! Cool vibes, great drinks and pizza. Don't sleep on the last night happy hr Friday and Saturday 10p-12am. Drink specials and deals on food! Their ricotta meatball appetizer is delicious and all the pizzas are good! Great staff and service! Concetta and Harry know what's up !
google avatar

Jon S.

Yelp
Fantastic experience And, Negroni week did not disappoint! We tried 4 of the cocktails (split into 1/2s), along with a Godfather & Caprese pizza. Great meal at the bar, and we loved Concetta's Mezcal-twist on the drink, along with her flawless service. I'm a neighborhood regular, and still find new things to enjoy here
google avatar

Bill N.

Yelp
This is my first time here, and it doesn't really feel like a good fit for me. This is Detroit-style pizza at its best, and the flavor profile is meh. The focus on organic is a nice touch, but it's not worth spending the amount of money for.
google avatar

Jess A.

Yelp
Overall this place was great! Such a chill vibe and the pizza was awesome! The bartenders were super cool and the drinks tasted great. They also have a great happy hour!
google avatar

Natalie K.

Yelp
Can't say enough great things about this place. The service, the food, the vibes.. it's all top notch. The meatballs are some of the best meatballs I've ever eaten and the Cobb salad is my absolute favorite. So fresh and the ranch they put on is homemade. Just tasty! Don't miss out on this fun and delicious place.

Yelp
Ordered lunch for the office from Electric Dough and was not disappointed. The online ordering was a breeze, they have some kinks to work through but all in all, it's pretty straightforward. The restaurant has a clean sleek modern vibe for all ages. The gelato bar is perfectly placed, you see it and instantly want dessert first! Or at least I did!! The menu is stacked with options from vegan to gluten free. Be forewarned that a large pizza is literally 8 pieces. I love focaccia pizzas and the variety electric dough offers was really good. The Duuuval and Classic Caprese are my top 2, followed by the Godfather and AMP. The bbq chicken with the pickled onions and datil pepper sauce- Omgosh the bbq with the sweet heat it's a must try! The Classic Caprese, it's exactly that classic Caprese on the focaccia- the balsamic glaze holds it all perfectly together. The Godfather is the go to for a salami lover! Which is me!! It's a supreme pizza that hits all the buttons. You get the classic salami, coppa, soppressata and sausage with your red sauce. The AMP is your cheese lovers pizza hands down. All in all the staff were really great. They greeted me when I walked in and knew the menu, and offered some great suggestions. I already can't wait to get back there and try some of the other signature pizzas.
google avatar

Monnica K.

Yelp
Ok first of all!! The place is so cute!! They kept some of the theater vibes in there with the projector on display at the front and then movies playing on the back wall. The staff were all super nice and helpful in my decision to get the godfather part II, which is the most popular. I got the large pizza because I was going to bring the rest home for leftovers. A large has 10 slices and I barely got through 3. Well barely because I wanted gelato and didn't want to overstuff myself. But the pizza was DELISH. So much flavor and meat and the bread is so light and airy so it doesn't feel super heavy when you're eating it! Really yummy. They also have Parmesan, red chili pepper flakes, and oregano shakers that you can take to your table. I put the red chili pepper flakes on my pizza and it elevated the spice and flavor really well. There is also sparkling water on tap at the drink station (it's the "soda" button on the lemongrass drink). The gelato was good too, and the flavors rotate but not sure if it's every week or what. Just fyi, the gelato cookie sandwich is pre-made (you can't choose a cookie flavor and a gelato flavor), and the brownie is HUGE but super thick. It would be divided easily between 3-4 people. I can't wait to come back and try the other pizzas!

Yelp
So much fun! We had a group of 7 and sat in the bar area. Yes, they have a bar area where you can get table service. It's a small area but that's the section I'll be when visiting when I return. We all ordered a different pizza. I tasted everyone's and liked them all. It's a thick dough, like foccia-ish style (which I like) but not everyone's cup of tea. My friends who had the salads gave 2 -thumbs-up. We got some free meatballs because they were accidentally delivered to our table. They were delicious. I had a Cape cod and others had varied libations and everyone was happy. * The reason I gave 3 stars is because I came back the next day and the quality wasn't the same. Meatballs were cold. Pizza dough wasn't cooked through. This place is new and super popular. I will be back again because I'm sure the longer they stay open the more consistent the food quality will be. Looking forward to it.

Yelp
I was anxious to try this pizza mainly for the crust, but was disappointed with the flavor. The crust was the best part. First, there was barely any sauce (none could be tasted or seen) and the mix of cheeses did not have a good flavor. The Asiago cheese was overpowering and parmesan also doesn't seem to go with the mixture. Some pieces had hardly any sausage. Actually, the sausage didn't taste good either, not like the usual pizza sausage. For $25.80 I expected more topping or at the very least more evenly distributed. They were not busy so the cook should have paid more attention to the topping. It just opened 3 weeks ago. It would have been nice if the cashier had told me about the Happy Hour pizza pricing for a medium pizza at $10. I suggested she do that for others. I'll add my own toppings to my leftovers (and remove their cheese) and won't be going back.

Yelp
Jet's Detroit Style Pizza is still better! I decided to have a dinner with my spouse at this location after seeing that it was a new restaurant in the area. We decided to stop in on our way over to Murray Hill for a Concert. Upon walking up my wife commented that it used to be an old movie theater. After walking in, it's a very new trendy upscale restaurant. I liked all the interior decor and everything about it. It was really cool I thought. We opted for a small six piece pizza because we weren't overly hungry, but the pizza was also very expensive for what you got. We ordered the "Godfather pt. 2" and the pizza looked exactly like jets pizza, Detroit style, but thinner on the crust. After having this pizza, I still think jet's pizza tastes better than Electic's Pizza. So the pizza was just...Meh. There wasn't really like a supreme pizza or your standard pizzas. All their pizzas had something extra extravagant that went on top of it and didn't really appeal to us very much.... We actually enjoyed the vegetable sticks and everything else that came on the kids meal plate that our child had. I did enjoy their different type of teas and craft sodas though. The gelato was on point. I had and recommend the coffee chocolate chip flavor, it was super amazing. I could've grabbed a second one to go, but I decided to wait for next time. Lastly, the chairs were very uncomfortable. I believe the outdoor chairs were more comfortable than the inside chairs with the cushion on them. I could only think about getting "waffle butt" from sitting on them. We seen a lot of utensils on the table. I'm not really a big fan of this. I don't know why the restaurant industry is going this way, but with constant sickness going around other guests can cough on the silverware before the next party even gets there to use them creating a hygiene issue for the silverware. **Overall, it was just an OK experience. The dessert was very good. The sodas were good, but if you're looking for good Detroit style pizza stick to "Jets Pizza"

Yelp
Amazing pizza! The crust looks thick and heavy but it's a wonderful crispy and light crust. The toppings also, fresh and inventive. Loved the Tractor soda collection, the fun ambiance, the old movies on the wall. The bar offers a variety of craft drinks as well as non alcoholic drinks and the bartenders are very attentive. We will definitely make Electric Dough a part of our date nights.

Yelp
We loved the atmosphere, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Of course, the pizza was great! Unique for Jax...thick (but not heavy) crust similar to Detroit style. Highly recommend!

Yelp
we went in just for the fountain drink today, and it was amazing! we heard that their fountain drinks are unique, but they exceed our expectations. I loved every fountain drink flavor they had and would 100% recommend. it was great to enjoy our nice sodas on this nice summer day in the outside seating they have!

Yelp
Hands down, one of the best pizza experiences I've ever had. I stopped in for the first time today and was instantly greeted by the incredible aroma of fresh, wood-fired pizza! The pizza was phenomenal--perfectly crisp crust, balanced flavors, and that unmistakable touch of someone who truly knows their craft. You can taste the care in every bite. Chef even took a moment to stop and say hi, which made the experience that much more special. If you're thinking about trying this spot, don't hesitate. It's the kind of place that makes you want to come back before you've even finished your meal.
