We’ve been to Elena‘s for many times. They have the best kabob in all kinds of meat. I especially love lamb chops!!! We love their garlic sauce and their rice. Everything is amazing here. Quick, friendly service. Expect wait time during peak hours. Special menus for holidays such as Valentines, Mother’s Day, etc. Parking- street or church lot parking

I had an amazing experience at Elena's Restaurant! The chicken breast kebab was perfectly cooked—unlike anything I’ve ever had. All the dips were incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. I left with a full belly and a big smile, already looking forward to my next visit.

The food here is amazing ! My family and I have been coming here for years and I brought my friend for the first time and she fell in love with it ! The service here is amazing and our waitress Ellen was very sweet and attentive ! I will be coming back ti try the new things in the menu !

We were craving gyro, chicken shawarma and garlic sauce and came here for dinner. They started us off with some pickled vegetables (so good and sour), and some pita and some of the best garlic sauce we've had in a long time. We ordered a gyro plate and a chicken shawarma plate, both with Armenian salad and fries. Everything was delicious. We liked the Armenian salad and the fries were exactly like what we had in Greece. Update: We've come back and had beef shawarma and the gyro plate again and everything was still great. The people working here are friendly, too.

Just had lunch here a bit ago and it was great! Our server/the manager was very friendly and checked in regularly to make sure we are doing okay. Tried the Cheese Boreg, Armenian Salad, and Chicken Lule Kebab 10/10. The ambiance is also really nice in that it gives a jazz club setting but offers a spacious dining experience for guests.

I recently ordered from Elana's for a 40-person event and couldn't be more pleased with the experience. I spoke with Virginia over the phone, gave her my budget, and she immediately took charge, guiding me to the best options to maximize my budget while accommodating different dietary preferences. I didn't have much of a game plan going in, so kudos to Virginia for making my life easier. The food was ready exactly on time and was a huge hit with our group--there were zero leftovers, and everyone was asking where we ordered from. We went with Falafel, Chicken Kabobs, Beef Lula, Sarma, rice, house salad, and grilled peppers. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. If you're planning an event and want great food with outstanding service, I highly recommend Elana's!

Senior citizen reporting! There is street parking and you can park at the church across from the restaurant! The dining room is small, it is very comfy and bright! This spot deserves more than five stars. First, the customer service is incredible. They make you feel like you are at your favorite aunt's house for lunch/dinner. The owner is very sweet and takes time to chat with customers to make sure everything is up to par. The food is 10/10. We usually get the chicken shish kabob plat and baby back ribs. Not a lot of places do baby back ribs correctly. This one does! Additional parking can be found at the church across the street. Definitely give this place a shot!

Came here for lunch and although it's been a long time since I've been back, what is the same is the delicious quality food! Portions are big so between the two of us, had leftovers for another meal. The beef and lamb are tender, get the lentil soup as it's full of flavor. Parking is available across the street at the church. Service is quick and friendly!

This is the best Kebab restaurant in Glendale and this is saying a lot because there is so many kebab restaurants in Glendale. The Chipotle hummus is the best hummus I have ever had. Five stars

We used to live in Los Feliz, near Elena's in the early 2000s, and would go all the time, but when we moved to East LA, it fell off the rotation. I'd assumed, incorrectly, that they probably closed at some point. But a friend who'd never been suggested we try it. I said - hey! I used to love Elena's! So, I just went last weekend and the place is exactly the same (nicer tables and chairs but otherwise same). The older lady --who may be Elena herself-- is still there! And the quality of the food hasn't faltered at all. My vegetarian friend and I ordered the assorted dip appetizer, the grape leaves, and I got a beef kufta. All were excellent! The dips are all top notch, the beef spiced and cooked perfectly, and I could eat 1,000 of those stuffed Sarma grape leaves. They seemed smaller than I remember and of course, prices have risen. Elena's quality is worth it, though. The servers were efficient, not super friendly but that's ok. The food being consistently good 20 years later is quite an achievement, through COVID and insane real estate prices. It's worth the trip!

To start street parking only but no problem on the side street. You can make a reservation on yelp but you may want to try somewhere else. We were seated quickly and someone came to take the order right away. . We were served pita with a good garlic sauce and a pickled cabbage and turnips also good. We decided on humus which is serve without additional pita. Our dinners were about twenty dollars they are served with rice onions roasted tomato and pepper You have your choice of lentil soup or a salad. I had the combo and chose 2 small lamp chops which had good flavor and chicken. Good seasoning but overcooked and dry. My wife had beef shawarma which dried out and tough perhaps a different item would have been better. Our friend had lamb shish which he enjoyed Warning extra bread and pickles are extra. While Service was quick to take an order and food came promptly. There is no follow up to check if we'd like the food, or if we needed anything else. The positive side of this was, we were not interrupted in our conversations with our friends, and we're not rushed out of the restaurant. The waitress did seem to be bothered when we asked for more water and when I asked about dessert. The bill can be paid electronically with the QR code and also by credit card. The restaurant can handle large groups as they have long tables they can be put together. I'm not sure if I would come back because I felt Service could be better and the meats were a bit dry. They do have a following as there was a constant flow of people They do serve for pick up.

Been coming here since I was a kid. Food quality has stayed the same and the service as well. The ambiance is like a family get together especially with the new owner walking around and having conversations with the customers (very nice guy.) i would definitely recommend.

The Glendale location is small and cozy, like you're at a family members home having a meal. Which might mean you may come out of there smelling like the delicious food you just ate ‍ But the food is delicious! I made reservations on Yelp for a Saturday night dinner for 5 and the place was packed. We were able to be seated and served in good time considering how full the place was. The pickled cabbage is so good and fresh. They also serve pita bread and garlic spread for you on the table. We got some hummus to start and then for our food soon afterwards. We got quail, chicken Lula and beef kabobs and lamb chops. Everything came out freshly made and tender and very delicious l. Even though my husband's lamb chops were burned, they quickly made him another order and he was really able to enjoy the lamb. Oh and the entire restaurant sang happy birthday to me at the request of Elena herself who was assisting her staff serve the restaurant patrons. You won't be dissatisfied at Elena!

The food is amazing and really delicious! The portions are really big. It taste super fresh. I also got the veggie mix plate and the dips are fresh you can tell the quality is great.

Came to this spot after work and I really enjoyed it. They were very welcoming and friendly made you feel like home. The pita with the garlic sauce was so good then I added some of the pickled cabbage and wow The Greek salad was good strong vinegar taste but I kinda enjoyed it the soup I tried from my boyfriend wow that was very delicious definitely will get that next time. Beef lule was good soft juicy rice was cooked perfectly.

I'm just sad it took me so long to finally try Elena's. the owners and staff that work here are also such gems themselves. the service was terrific; they made our group feel like we were eating at a family friend's home. and the FOOD; truly delicious! I have greek/armenian/ other Mediterranean foods at least 2 times a week and this is the BEST I've had in years! I'm already dreaming of going back this weekend. we had: Hammos, Mutabbal, Labni, Tabbuleh,Falafels, chicken lula, beef lula, and chicken kabobs. everything was delicious. 5 stars all around. If you haven't tried Elena's; what are you waiting for? just go! :)

This place is amazing! Authentic delicious food. I ordered for a small get together and my guests were blown away by the taste and quality of the food. They all wanted to know where I ordered from. I think Elena's will be getting a lot more orders and visits in the near future. If you're having a get together this is the place to get it from.

Visited Elena's today and ordered a Greek chicken salad and cheese bouregs. The quality of everything was very good however very disappointed to see that my Greek salad did not have any olives and feta cheese inside it. I didn't expect a Greek salad to miss those two critical ingredients. I didn't know if that's how they made it here but after I just reviewed their menu online it clearly shows that a Greek salad comes with olives and feta cheese, don't know why my salad didn't come with it.

Sad really. This is the third time this has happened to us and it's quite frustrating. We place a phone order come by when they tell us to pick up around 20-30 mins. You show up waiting in that little standing room in front of the doors and TV, plenty of staff walking by and not acknowledging you, you literally have to get in their face to get their attention, they obviously don't care about people standing by there obviously waiting to be helped. Then they bullshit and tell you another 15-20 more minutes. Then you come back and they can't find your order. Come on!! Masis kabob is way better and they don't treat their customers like this. Just opened down the street on Colorado and Glendale. Tonight's experience was a bad experience. Whoever that man you have working in the front, probably a relative needs to be fired. Or keep him in the back where he doesn't have to deal with customers. Third time you guys lost our order and we have had to wait ridiculous amounts of time, for nothing. Do not come here if you value your time and sanity.

Been coming here for years. Even during Covid I would drive out to Glendale to pick up take out. The food is always good. The portions healthy size and you get a choice of soup or salad with a kebab plate. Authentic and homemade. Lentil soup is great, too. One of my favorites in Glendale. You might miss it on the street corner as it's very unassuming. Nothing fancy but patio like with windows that surround the space. It's across from a church where they also allow Elena's customers to park during the day. Highly recommend.

I've been exploring the San Fernando valley this week and got to try Armenian food for the first time at Elena's in Glendale. It was so good! I think my favorite combo was the garlic, hummus and chicken together. This was such a feast! The restaurant is small and family owned. They treated us very well.

You must come to Elenas in Glendale. This place is also FIRE. As always, when I saw Lamb Chops on the menu, I had to go for it. My girl I think went for the Greeks Cabbage plate. Lamb Chops are delicious with Rosemary and other good seasonings. You have choices of potatoes and vegetables with the lamb. Nice looking decorative place. Lots of healthy choices to eat here if you are watching your diet. Nice staff, and fun place to eat, I promise, we will be back.

I've been a fan for years but since the pandemic, delivery has been horrific. I ordered a falafel sandwich with hummus, cheese and garlic sauce and it was delivered without hummus or cheese and the wrap falling apart. I ate it w/ a fork and knife and the falafel was dry and tasteless and there was nothing else I requested. A complete disappointment and not for the first time. I guess I'll stick with Dune.

This place was recommended by a co worker. Another homey comfy food and place to go. It does seem to be hard finding a parking, but there is a spot by the church. The resto was kinda full every visit. But food was good, even brought some friends here too, and they liked it. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Service was fast. Food serving can be shareable, though for sure, you will be able to finish it. Been a fan of kebab , and this is the place that we kept coming back for every mediterranean craving.

Great mom and pop owned venue with a very cozy dinning area, you almost feel like you're just having a dinner with friends and family in your back yard. Service is very warm, as it should be with family owned venues, and the food is one of the best in area. (LuLe Beef plate is a must try!)

We wanted to try a little of everything so we got the Elena's dinner for 4 for take out. Everything tasted amazing! This meal was meant to feed 2 adults and 2 small kids. We were stuffed and had left offers. The kids loved the cheese boreg. Service was great! They forgot to give us the rice and called us to come back to get it. I call that great service cuz other places wouldn't even bother to call you.

I ordered some food to go from here and Hambik was the person who assisted me with it. I got the chicken kebab dish and it was good. The seasoning was different from what I have tasted elsewhere, but still good. I also ordered some sarma, which is supposed to be vegetarian. They had accidentally given me dolma, which has a beef filling. I called the restaurant and Hambik was glad to make the change. He was also kind enough to give me some extra sarma on the house. That was a very much appropriated gesture. They have ample seating as well as parking. I will be glad to order from them in the future.

If you don't mind divey places that feel more like you are going to a friend's family's backyard party, this is a great place for you. Informal, with good energy and service with a laugh from the owner, and good food. Including ayran, which I hadn't had since going to Istanbul! We tried a bunch of tapas-like dishes and were all quite happy with the quality, flavor and richness of it all. Bottom line: My kind of place.

They did it again! I cannot express how amazing their catering service is! From the minute we placed our order to pick up was so seamless. I made changes a day before and they accommodated without any issues. The service is always above and beyond. I feel like they are my family! The food is always up the par. Everything was delicious - we got the Elena's dinner catering package and we were so pleased with the variety of different appetizers and entrees. Our family enjoyed every single item. There are no words. Our go-to for delicious food and amazing service!

Delicious Greek food with a fabulous atmosphere! Came in tonight for a date and enjoyed everything we ordered. The Lula was so tender and well-seasoned, the hummus was very flavorful, and the pickled cabbage was just right! Richard, the owner, visited our table several times to check in with us and was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The servers were all working hard and our server, Miguel was very attentive. Overall, we had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back and try more food at Elena's!

Food is always fresh and delicious, very big menu lots of choices, they have a lot of vegetarian options which I appreciate, service is good, place is clean and decent, nothing too fancy but comfortable and clean.

We found this hidden jam on the way home from Arizona to Oregon. Food is very delicious for a reasonable price. Service is top notch, and we were served by the owner of a restaurant. Restaurant was almost full, but we got served very fast. Highly recommend!

Easy 5 stars. I've never had Armenian cuisine, so I've nothing to compare it against but this place blew my mind. I had fluffy pita with a garlic sauce, pickled red onion with whole garlic cloves, lentil soup, and a combo plate with a beef skewer and chicken. Everything was wow! The beef was a bit tough but the seasoning and char from the grill made up for that. I especially loved the grilled Anaheim pepper and tomato- they were absolutely delicious with the rice. I was very surprised how small the location is- judging by the shower stall adjacent to the restroom, it looks to be a converted house. They have a sign up saying you can park at the church (wherever that is), but I was able to park on the street no problem. Pro tips: bring cash! There's a 4% surcharge to use a card! Also, they forgot an item so if you order to-go, check your bag(s) before you leave!! Overall, I look forward to working my way down the menu and bringing a certain SD friend with me to enjoy. Highly recommend!! Stopped by this little establishment while working in the area. It's a little location on the corner. The ambiance inside feels welcoming and inviting! They have articles all over raving about their popular dishes so I was delighted and excited to try! The service was amazing! She was on top of everything and everyone's tables and very kind.
