Elephant & Co. Detroit

I had never heard of this place before, I am so glad that I came, the pizza was absolutely delicious…not sure what cheese they use but the flavors were poppin!! The staff made sure they kept the pizza coming out. Tons of varieties of beer, I do not drink beer so I didn’t try it..the water was good though, it didn’t have that nasty taste to it. Nice chill brewery I will definitely visit again!

We decided to choose this spot to watch Lions game. Amazing selection of beer if you drink alcohol. I don’t drink so this review is solely for the food. Seems like the day we decided to try this place they were out of everything except the pizza and cheese bread. We ordered the garlic cheese bread and it was really good. It’s Detroit style pizza. Atmosphere was cool and service was ok. If you’re into beer then this is the spot for you.

Love the concept! You come in to the desk to open your tab and to get your bracelet to get drinks. Self serve water and alcohol. Can order food on your tab or at the desk. Great tasting drinks - my favorite was the strawberry wine. The spicy peperoni and wonderbread were very tasty. Came on a Monday and it was trivia night, but I couldn't stay long enough to participate.

We recently attended the Beer Safari, and it really was a remarkable experience. If you have driven by and have considered dropping in, I recommend starting with the Safari. The fermentation expert guiding you through the experience provides excellent details about the history of different styles of beer, tasting, brewing, and breweries in Detroit, all while you sample five of their beers, four of which are paired with four different types of their pizza — all for only $30. They give any leftovers to participants who might still be hungry, but they really do give you enough that you feel perfectly full. The Detroit-style pizza was chef’s kiss. I would visit just for the pizza even if I didn’t enjoy trying new brews. We visited on a Wednesday and there weren’t really any special events going on in the city, so I liked that it wasn’t crowded and the atmosphere was very relaxed. I also really loved the self-pour concept. So many different taps and styles to try, and you only pay for what you pour. A couple styles, I poured less than an ounce. This is better than getting a flight or a larger pour of one thing, when there are so many you might want to try. I highly recommend Elephant & Co and can‘t wait to return!

Awesome idea, pour your own beer at your leisure. Wide selection including wine and seltzers, plenty to offer different tastes. Very good pizza and friendly staff, will definitely return!

This was the first time my husband and I have been here. It was a alien experience from what we were accustomed to. But the staff was so helpful and informative that it made it a simple and enjoyable experience. The food was great, the pizza sauce wasn't sweet which I enjoyed. Beer selection was really good. But the thing that will bring us back next time we are in the D will because how the staff was.

seriously the absolute best garlic bread and pizza I’ve ever had, like seriously. it pains me that I’m an hour away. stopped by to get some food before the Sabrina Carpenter concert and it ended up being life changing pizza, I can’t wait to come back.

This place is great. First time I went to get a couple of slices and there was a live blues band. The next time I got there near closing time. I was greeted by Taná (Tanay) and asked if the kitchen was still open. Managers Tony and Erin accommodated me. I ordered a small spicy Pepperoni and got a glass of strawberry wine. They really go above and beyond. I live nearby and found out they have a trivia night on Mondays. I can't wait to check it out.
