The 15 Best Bars In Honolulu - Oahu - The Infatuation

"Eleven is inside Foodland, but it’s much more swanky than you’d expect, outfitted in blond wood exuding Japanese minimalism with understated tropical accents. (But it is still a grocery store, so you can show up in shorts and flip-flops.) The cocktails get creative with ingredients like an Okinawan sugar and miso syrup and pineapple shave ice, but what’s also fun is the extensive list of whiskeys accompanied by a cheat sheet of preparations ranging from highballs to sazeracs. Handy drawings and ingredient breakdowns help those of us who don’t know our old pals from rusty nails. Eleven is not the only great bar inside the Foodland: there’s also The Bar by R. Field Wine Company, which is great for a glass of wine and charcuterie as you watch shoppers pick out chips in the snack aisle." - martha cheng

What an exquisite experience! You don't even know it's there, tucked into a corner in the back of Foodland Farms at Ala Moana Center. A cocktail bar with the BEST name! The drinks were high class and inventive, with so much care taken in the presentation. The popcorn and bacon candy were super delicious, and the service was impeccable. Tim took really good care of us and he was super friendly and kind. I can't wait for an opportunity to go back. I highly recommend a visit!

The room is small but that adds to the energy. I’ve passed by this room many times while shopping but never had the chance to stop In. After learning about the Brunch Buffet, We had to plan for this day because reservations are HIGHLY recommended! Sergio, the host/“guy in charge” greeted us with smile and welcomed us to the restaurant. We arrived early and was able to get seated right away, then informed that there is a 90 minute time limit. Don’t get upset at that time limit! That is ample time to enjoy the food. Jin, one of our servers, greeted us right away and made sure we got our Pineapple-Honey Mimosas. The room was clean and inviting and the buffet line smelled like heaven. After coming up with a game plan, it was time to get that food! Today’s line included (and these are not all the items) sautéed asparagus, Hong Kong Fried Rice, spring garlic and mushroom scramble, miso salmon, & breakfast meats just to name the items on my first round. My buffet technique is to always start with small taste portions and try everything. After completely enjoying my first 2 tasting rounds, I totally forgot there was a carving table with Prime Rib… yes… Prime Rib… with Sergio’s recommendation of the chimichurri sauce. Total heaven. Sam, our 2nd server, was also very helpful and made sure my 2nd Mimosa was on its way. By the time I got to my forth serving, I stayed with the prime rib and garlic mushroom scramble. No lie, that chimichurri sauce was awesome!!! So, if you are looking for cheap eats… that’s not what 11 is about. Most buffets start at $30 but if you want quality food, this would be the place to be! The drink menu is great as well but we chose to focus on the food. We definitely will be returning after we recover from the kanak attack that happened after brunch. Everyone needs to plan a meal there, just make sure you make RESERVATIONS!!!

I’ve only had drinks at their bar and never had the chance to eat here yet…but this is my go-to spot for a smoked old fashioned. They easily have the best array of bourbon and rye selections that I’ve seen in a while. Atmosphere is pretty great too.

Google
I frequent the Bar in the Ala Moana Foodland but have never been to Eleven before today. I decided to give it a go because I was told they were famous for their old fashioned. They did not disappoint. My first impression which landed the 5 stars is the aroma. Eleven assaulted my sense of smell in the most exquisite way. And the old fashioned was perfect and fragrant. I will come back here just for the aromas.

Eleven is amazing! So much beautiful attention to detail…in everything from the food preparation, to the atmosphere, to food presentation, to wait staff attention! And an incredible value to boot! Highest quality food and very very well prepared and curated by the attentive and caring staff. Our servers treated us like family and were so very welcoming and helpful! I wasn’t able to try everything…but my highlights from today’s experience were the pumpkin soup, cranberry mimosa, togarashi chicken, and fuyu persimmon/fig salad…but everything was delicious and well prepared. The atmosphere was fun and engaging and welcoming. My only improvement opportunity would be to add some elements to help dampen the sound in the restaurant a little…at times it was loud enough to make conversing challenging

We went there with my family and MIL for a Christmas Eve brunch. The staff was good but didn’t refill many items such as the seafood soup, horseradish (prime rib) and deserts. The buffet was good for the price point and kids under 12yrs old eat for half the cost for an adult. I felt the spread could have been better with the amount of guests dining. Satisfactory restaurant for a cheap ($35/adult) buffet.

Pretty typical decor for a nice upscale cocktail bar. Never really had food here, just some light apps which are usually good. This time, was definitely not a positive experience relative to previous visits. Ordered drinks and some popcorn, and the bar had about 5 people. 35 minutes later we got our drinks with the bare minimum service. From start to finish service was flat to put it nicely. I’ve worked in F&B for nearly 15 years, and this just wasn’t it. For nearly $20 a drink, you can’t just ask “what would you like?” and then drop it off 35 min later without batting an eye. Probably pass on this place in the future. Too many good places out there to chance wasting a “no kids” night out. Drinks: Woks of Life & HNL Sour.

Google
This is a very intimate bar inside of Foofland Farms in Ala Moana. It is located just past the checkout and before the wine section. The bar itself is great and fully stocked with most liquors you can think of. It looks like they have a ton of whiskey there too. The food is good here but it is not cheap by any means so if you are looking to splurge on yourself then be prepared to pay. There are probably other items you can order that are a bit cheaper but why not enjoy yourself when you are having a good time with friends right?

Yelp
I had read about Eleven in the Honolulu magazine and had bookmarked it to try. Several attempts in the past to get a reservation didn't happen so I booked this about two months in advance. We arrived at 9:30 and it wasn't very busy. Note, there is a 90 minute time limit for your meal, which is fair. There is a really nice array of food choices, though this buffet is small. It's not like Halekulani or Kahala big, but like I said, they have some tasty options. There's even a beef roast carving. The only thing we didn't care for was the kimchee hash browns. I also didn't get a chance to try the chia seed parfait. But we sampled everything, not once, not twice, but three times! LOL! I think our saving grace was the amount of cocktails the two of us ordered. They have the best espresso martinis we've had so far in the city. They even let us stay a little over the time limit...since we had our last martini to finish. The service is warm and friendly! Thank you Jin! Also the bartender, but we didn't get his name. For the price, I felt it was a good deal! I would definitely be back and also to try their evening service. Mahalo Eleven

Yelp
Happy times at Eleven! Got to catch up with friends, Terry K. and Peter C., over small bites and drinks. My friend made reservations in the early evening and the bar was quiet. It's a bit hidden in Foodland but once you check in there's a bar area plus tables with booths and high tops. Super cozy but a relaxed spot to hang out. Service by all staff was efficient and kind. They ordered House Fried Potato Chips, Popcorn, Bacon Candy, and Roasted Beets for the table. All were good snacking foods, nothing fancy or impressive but went well with the drinks. If you like creative drinks or want a place to stop and sip in Ala Moana, Eleven is a place to try! It's tucked away in Foodland, just walk through and you'll find it in the back. Plenty of parking in Ala Moana.

Yelp
Eleven is located in the mall on the ground floor Ewa side. You can enter from either Foodland Farms or from the mall side. One shouldn't get the feeling as if you're inside of a grocery store, but rather a cozy bar with a great selection of bourbon, whiskies, and spirits. I've only come here for lite bites and drinks. The bartenders and servers are friendly. Service is just the way I like it with smiles.

Yelp
Came here to start our foodland dinning passport and the whiskey deals! Food was great but service was mediocre. Went on a Thursday at 5:30p and got seated right away but pretty much after we got our food we hardly ever got checked on unless we made eye contact with the server for something. We ordered the candied bacon, chips, and beef & brioche. The bacon was soooo good! And the chips were warm and crispy and the aioli had a good spice to it! Drink wise my boyfriend had the yamazaki 12yr neat and I had a cocktail off the menu- I just asked for something pina colada tasting. Came out good! I appreciated they made something based on that since I prefer sweeter tasting cocktails. Overall we'd probably come back but hope we get better service next time.

Yelp
The variety of options here got me coming for their Winter Buffet $35 AYCE. Made a reservation early because walk in is difficult. For the price of buffet, it's pretty good. There were variety of brunch options of meat, seafood, pastry, and dessert. Refer to my photos for the food. The food was pretty good. Desserts were available like cheesecake and tarts but would need to ask them since it is in the fridge. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here.

Yelp
Eleven is located on the ground floor of Ala Moana on the Piikoi side of the mall. It's actually connected/inside Foodland, but you can enter from the outside. Eleven is one of the Foodland restaurants and it's nicely decorated and a little bougie. They usually are open for evenings and offer a wide drink selection and a small food menu. I really love Foodland and all of this bougie new restaurants and concepts. Especially when they first came out with these fancy dining experiences, I would often go to the wine bar or et al at kahala. I've been to Eleven several times too and even came here with half of my wedding guests for drinks after our reception. It was great! I've had a few experiences recently at Foodland restaurants that are less than great. I've also ran into former employees who have quit because they said things are different now. I hope this isn't an end to my love for everything Foodland. The cocktails are interesting. I like fruity drinks and thought eleven would have fresh juice cocktails since Foodland offers like 12 different kinds of fresh juice and aqua frescas. I was wrong. When I asked the waitress for a fruity cocktail rec she said that the low alcohol pineapple cocktail or the rose cocktail are the only 2. Well I didn't want a low alcohol content beverage and the rose cocktail didn't actually have any fruit ingredients in it. So I asked if I could make the low alcohol pineapple cocktail more alcoholic and she said adding a shot would make it a $30 drink. No thanks. So I got the rose one. The waitress was right. It tasted fruity, but I was definitely skeptical because it didn't have any fruit in it. I recently came to eleven for their weekend brunch. Usually I don't think eleven is open during the day, but on weekends, they offer a weekend brunch buffet for $35 per person. The brunch included some pastries, chia seed parfaits, French toast, eggs, breakfast sausages, tater tots, fried rice, fruit, shrimp cocktail and a carving station. I actually really enjoyed the bunch because it seemed affordable and the offerings were all really good. It's not a very wide selection of foods, but everything was made really well. I liked that the carving station had precut slices of beef and it sounds crazy, but the chia seed parfait might have been my favorite part. The service was good and the brunch comes with iced tea, but at only $35 per person, I would maybe slpurge on a Bloody Mary or mimosa next time.

Yelp
Tried out their brunch, which is available on weekends only. Would highly recommend making reservations beforehand so that you can guarantee your spot. For the time that I went, it was very nut-forward. And being that I have a nut allergy, I couldn't eat some of the items on the list. There were nuts topped on the oatmeal/pudding, almond slices on some of the fish and veg items, and the dessert case, proceed with caution. I appreciate that everything is labeled, but it doesn't mention any allergies in it. And the team couldn't guarantee what was inside or that it wasn't cross-contaminated in the kitchen as they don't make their bakery items on site. But other than that, it was alright, for the price that you pay. It's hard to beat a brunch that includes a prime-rib station. As for the service, our server was a little off that day. While she was refilling waters, she spilled waters on both myself and the person I was dining with. Though she did come back with extra napkins to wipe ourselves with, thank you for that. The second time around she then pulled the cup away from the table to avoid spilling on us, but then spilled all over the floor and had to come back with a mop to mop it all up. Nevertheless, the vibe is always cute in there, and this experience won't deter us from coming back to try out their other menu items for lunch or dinner service.

Yelp
Make reservation in advance via OpenTable for weekend brunch. Five staff consistently gave their 100% from preparation, presentation, which spoke volumes considering taste in food and thoughtful customer service. Few things caught me off guard: 1. There were leftover chia seeds mixture at the edge of the table. Thank goodness I managed to remove it upon seating. 2. Although there were mini fans intended to keep critters away from salad and desserts, there's one tiny bug that landed on top of a miniature pastry twice. 3. I also noticed dust accumulating on the wall. 4. I was seated near the exit and the sun shined on red door paper which illuminated a bright red from exit door. We weren't able to switch tables because all other seats were occupied during dine in reservation. I did my best to block the bright red illumination while taking photos of food and beverage. Best highlight was enjoying every sip of Zen State, Low Abv in between bites of Asian Crunch Slaw, Coconut Chia Seed Parfait, Taro and Haupia French Toast, Prime Rib Fried Rice, and Seafood Gumbo. I had to do a double take with ingredients. My beverage does not taste like a cocktail. Feels similar to a mocktail. A cocktail indeed. There's a restroom. Toilet stall with door is separate from sink and soap dispenser. Parking closest to Foodland Farms are for 1 hour only. Ideal to park on the opposite side B1 where stalls are spacious with no time limit.

Yelp
Eleven's holiday brunch buffet is back for a limited time and they are extending their weekend brunch hours just for the holidays to Monday 12/23 and Tuesday 12/24! Located inside Foodland in Ala Moana shopping center, the restaurant offers an all you can eat buffet for $35 per person and $16 per child 10 and under. There is a time limit depending on the number in your party. Included with the buffet is coffee, hot tea, or iced tea. I thought the buffet line had a good variety of dishes and desserts and is affordable at $35 per person. However, we did have to wait awhile before the bisque and mushroom ravioli were replenished. I thought the desserts were just okay. I think a bread pudding would have made a good addition to the menu. Overall, the experience and service was good.

Yelp
We love eleven!! The flavor pairings of the drinks are so unique & the presentation makes it even more fun, like we had a mezcal drink with Okinawan black sugar/miso syrup & a yuzu foam on top!! The food is also really yummy, my fave is the beef & brioche! Just gotta know that the portions are really small so plan to eat dinner before or after. The potato chips are also exceptionally good lol. Anyways definitely recommend and love that it's in foodland farms! We actually came here after going to their wine bar which is also good!!

Yelp
Honolulu Restaurant Week Meal #3 Last time I came here was almost a year ago for the Christmas Yelp party....I forget about it since it's inside Foodland haha. Grateful to be reminded of Eleven once again for restaurant week. Whiskey Experience $24 per person 1) Ohishi Islay Cask Whisky Paired with Sake Cured Salmon, Coriander Cream Cheese, Pumpernickel 2) The Balvenie Doublewood 12yr Scotch Paired with Beef & Brioche, Truffle Oil, Tabasco Worcestershire Aioli 3) Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon Paired with Mini Corn Muffin, Cheddar, Bacon Jam 4) Whistlepig Piggyback Rye 6yr Paired with Bacon Candy (gf), Bourbon Molasses, Black Pepper This was a great deal considering you get a taste of more high quality whiskeys with some pupus alongside. I tried these pupus last year and I do feel they improved their recipe since it tasted better than I remember. We also ordered a side of Hokkaido scallops ($21) which were amazing! I highly recommend it. Very tender and flavorful. It was very busy on a Friday night so service was okay. They did the best they could with a full house. Easy parking, easy access, and fun nightcap.

Yelp
Came here with a group of friends for the first time it was such a great time. I tried the popcorn and house fried potato chips it came out really quick. A side note when ordering the house fried potato chips comes out with a sauce that is a hint of a little spice. My girlfriend ordered a drink and it came out very pretty. We will becoming back wanting to try the brunch buffet, can't wait!

Yelp
Sunday Brunch in Honolulu, Hawaii... Located inside of Foodland Farms at Ala Moana Center, Eleven was advertising a buffet brunch for $35. We wanted to see for ourselves how it was... Maybe I expected too much... it's only breakfast food... eggs, breakfast meats, and pastries... The fried rice was pumped up with bacon flavor. The roast beef had a nice, savory crust on it! The pork, salmon, and chicken were on the dry side. I liked the green salad and fruit salad the best! The environment was really nice! The room felt spacious! However, the couple next to us was seated closeby... we could hear their conversation clearly! Service was kind of strange as we were reminded that we only had 90 minutes to dine. My hot green tea was only refilled with hot water once. Another server plopped some dessert (pumpkin cheesecake?) down in front of us... uh... maybe it was freshly made and she didn't want us to miss out on it??? The bisque was really spicy to me. The shrimps were fresh. The Brussels sprouts and Breakfast potatoes were just ok. I didn't take any rolls... The bacon maple mini Donuts had an artificial flavor. Pumpkin Crunch French Toast wasn't spectacular... Well, I'm glad that I finally got a chance to go. It was really hard to get a reservation when this brunch first started. I booked this reservation online without any problems!

Yelp
Brunch time... What is Eleven...a bar...or restaurant...shrug! This cozy establishment is located in the Foodland Farms Ala Moana Center Street Level far end of the Ewa Wing and as you walk in just straight to the back and with already having an open bar I wasn't expecting much with this new addition as the concept boasting an extensive whiskey list wasn't my vibe along with some bar menu. Fast forward to a new concept of a Brunch menu which started as a limited time has seem to extended a permanent fixture is a lovely option to bougie up your weekend. Reservations is very recommended and can easily be done through Yelp as it takes you to their online site as this super cozy spot seating is very limited as it's from 8:30-1:30 with a limit of 90 minutes for $35 per person is a deal that shouldn't be missed. With a menu set for the season this Fall menu was filled with the items we enjoy like Butternut Squash Bisque with Rock Shrimp, Pumpkin Crunch French Toast, Apple Cider & Miso Chicken along with assorted desserts and carving station. As much as I enjoyed the various items honestly it wasn't my favorite as many was dry and overcooked probably from sitting in the chafer too long and yes I went for three rounds as I was hungry but found the salad very refreshing, drink is also included as we had hot green tea the vibe is nice and calming and hope the next seasonal menu be more festive. Thank you!

Yelp
This update is for the BRUNCH ONLY. A few must know points. 1. Best to have a reservation or you may not be seated. 2. Once you're seated you will have 90 MINUTES to eat, pay and get out. You are reminded of this when you check in and then again when you are seated 3. Be sure to confirm your type of seating when you make you reservations and then last when you are confirming 24 hours before your date (IMPORTANT) or they will put you wherever they have room including the high top at the bar so be aware So, we had reservations for 11:30 (and my open table reservation got arbitrarily changed from table to high top and to think I had to prove it to the hostesss) Buffet of your basic salad items, breakfast items a couple main entree dishes and yes, a carving station with prime rib (be sure you ask for the finishing salt on your prime rib) Last, they have a cute selection of pastries. For $35 per person, you get a variety of eats and a nice cut of prime rib which in my opinion they meal was price validated. We were given a high top but got used to it. The upshot is our bartenders were kind enough to bring us a dessert tray to select from. 90 minutes goes by in no time at all. Located in Foodland Farms Ala Moana, makai side. Walk in, pass the cashiers and voila! on the left is their entrance. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Brunch is served on Sundays no menu service

Yelp
OK....so this was a cute spot hidden in the corner of Foodlands at the Alamoana center. We only stopped by to grab a couple of drinks and to check out the scene. The vibe was nice. It looked a little more speakeasy but the bubble gum Pop music they were playing did not match! Hubby ordered a Cosmo and it tasted like straight lime juice. I ordered the lemon drop which was pretty good but $18 a drink was way too much for the amount we received. Service was ok but we probably won't be returning because I'm sure we can get more bang for my buck elsewhere.

Yelp
11/15/24: my bf and I came for Honolulu Restaurant Week as they were doing this amazing deal of. WHISKEY Experience, which includes 4 whiskeys and 4 savory bites for only $24. You can't go wrong. Service was friendly and fast. The ambiance is so clean, bright and elegant. It was our first time here, and we look forward to coming back to try their weekend brunch buffet and cocktails.

Yelp
Disclaimer: This review is only for the Brunch Buffet. I've been wanting to come to this brunch buffet because the menu sounded amazing and it's $35 per person! This place is located in the back left corner of Foodland at Ala Moana. Once you walk in, you would never guess this was inside of a grocery store! It gives a lounge kind of vibe with couch seating & bar seating. Now for the important stuff: the food & drinks! Included in the $35 is your choice of coffee, tea, or iced tea. We opted for the iced tea and it was very refreshing. As for the food, it was just okay. We had Furikake Tater Tots, scrambled eggs with mushroom & cheese, taro haupia french toast (my personal fav out of everything), prime rib, and some pastries. When we first got there, almost all the food was almost gone which was a bummer as I'm not sure how long they were sitting there for. Once they refreshed the food, we went for a second round. The place was super empty with only 3 other parties. I find that a bit disappointing because when you look at their online reservations system, it always says it's booked. I had to book 3 weeks out! Since there were very little guests, the waiters were right there when you finish your last bite or the last sip of your drink. The service was awesome! Overall, I would come back if someone invited me but would not go out of my way to go. I would say it's worth a try!

It was a great Father's Day buffet breakfast. It was worth the price!! Service was excellent - would go there again.

Yelp
Sunday brunch buffet with Donna O. ! Thank you Donna! Great variety of foods. Strip loin roast , salads, mini pastries, Ewa sweet corn chowder, chilled poached shrimp, Banana Foster French toast, salmon, chicken, fried rice, eggs and cheese, iced tea, coffee, desserts and more! (See menu photo for details). Service was good: 4/5 stars. A bit crowded at the time. On occasion we needed to get the attention of our server. Very nice server. Ambiance 3/5 stars. Tables were definitely too small. Placement of dishes and beverages were nerve racking lol. Bar atmosphere here. The buffet is located on a central bar like table setting. The strip loin roast is located towards the bar. Somewhat hidden from view. Thank goodness Donna pointed it out to me. My favorite was the corn chowder! Really tasty and comforting! The strip loin roast was on the dry side. You can ask for au jus, garlic and more at the serving station. My next favorite was the Banana Foster French toast, it was delicious and topped with banana brûlée and Mac nuts! Yummy! Indoor bathroom available here. I enjoyed the hot coffee and iced tea. The coffee was not bitter and not strong ( which I like lol). Desserts offered were not my cup of tea. I tried the brownie and it was refrigerator cold and hard to cut with a metal fork! Overall Food: 3.8 stars out of 5. Fantastic 10 stars having brunch with Donna O! Thank you again! Would I return? For a special occasion!

Yelp
Eleven is such an elegant, calm, classy, modern and clean bar located inside Foodland Farm in Ala Moana. That's right inside the busy supermarket. My first visit here was with Elite Yelp Event and I had such a good time with Yelp fellows. I've been meaning to return sooner but life happens you know. I think bar drinks and food are pretty much the same across the board. So what makes Eleven so special? I'm glad you ask because the host, server, food and drinks, they make it right and perfect. Their drinks are so pretty. As my gen Z companion said this place has nice ambiance. That's right, calm and classy feel to it. If you're more of tv/sports bar scene, this probably isn't the right place. At Eleven, you don't have to shout and you can enjoy your company like you are a fine dining. They have an extensive whiskey menu. The host and server were so sweet and explained everything in details. I tried their Lomi martini. I was in the mood for something salty. As soon as we sat, our host brought us complimentary fruity sample and brought us water. I greatly appreciate any place that will ask and bring basic things like water and check on us occasionally. What an excellent service! Before we left, our server gave us free mimosa drink that we can redeem during their brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Really? They serve all you can eat brunch. I will be back again soon. Cheers!

Yelp
Attended a b-day party, they reserved the WHOLE place. Music, the guests, We asked Customer Svs... where it's located. Oh, behind the cashiers. We squeeze ourselves into the exit cashier line and found ourselves in the floral and liquor dept. we were greeted w/ a smile from one of the ladies from church and checked us in. Staff was on task, provided coffee (no decaf) for mom but it was ok..& soda for me, 1 water glass. Food looked good, GET READY TO EAT! Buffet table not made for "shorties"... lol Good signage to describe the variety of eats. A great way to use "Local" items. Food was not hot, lightly warm, yet the burner was Working... Enjoyed the furikake Tator toys, that was like room temp. And dry/ hard. I enjoyed the chic curry, the pastries, fruit. As you can see in the pic, it was a pretty good variety and using LOCAL ingredients. My mom wants make a come back. Peony's we're VERY beautiful and perfect for the occasion. Thank you to Foodland floral dept. and their distributor to bring this Special flower for the occasion. The b-day girl was VERY impressed and we were Too... to have this for the occasion. Why is it named, 11?

Yelp
We spontaneously went around 10:30am on a Saturday morning (the brunch buffet is weekend only, I believe), and fortunately there was no wait for a table. We did not have reservations, which I strongly recommend, because Cynthia will let you know when you need to finish, so they can have their table back; she let us know twice. If you're lucky, you will get Jamie as your server; she is exceptional! The food is good, well prepared with plenty of selections. I think it's a good price considering you can get: shrimp cocktail, salmon, pork ribs, prime rib, mac nut French Toast and pastries. Everything tasted really fresh and I love that it was seasonal: like watermelon with feta, balsamic & basil; and the corn salad done elote-style. And I have always enjoyed the décor at Eleven, casually elegant. It's my new favorite for brunch.

Yelp
$35 for a brunch buffet that changes every season? Yes, please! My friend and I decided to check this place out as we love brunch. We made our reservation for an early time so we could get close parking as Ala Moana can get really busy on a Saturday. The menu is simple with your typical breakfast items however there's some specialty that changes out each season. For this season, it was fall themed. The highlights: The pumpkin crunch was delicious and had a great texture. I think it was probably because they just brought it out vs just sitting in the heater. The rock shrimp butternut squash bisque was soooo tasty. It was like a lobster bisque with a red curry taste and had a spicy kick to it. The carved roast was so soft and had roasted garlic on the side which was perfect for us garlic lovers. The dessert was okay as at this point, we were pumpkin out. The buffet comes with tea or coffee however there are specialty drinks. My friend got the iced alaea salted caramel cold brew which was sooo good. Definitely more better than Starbucks. The cocktails others had around us looked amazing as well. Overall, it was a great experience! It's definitely a steal. It may be a small brunch buffet with some specialty items but it was really good. Definitely come early. Service was great. Our server was so friendly and very attentive. We definitely will be back for another season!

Yelp
Don't be surprised that there is this hidden restaurant inside Foodland Ala Moana shopping center. If it wasn't for my friend told me about it. I will never know about this restaurant. They have this $35 brunch on Saturday and Sunday morning. Inside the restaurant, they have bar seating and table seating. I found out the table seating has different type of table. Some of the tables are higher and some other the table is shorter. I found the shorter table. It's not that comfortable for eating because the height of the table is too low in my opinion, you have to kind of bend down to eat. Regarding the menu, they have salad, fruit, some pastry and about eight hot food items, such as pork chop, salmon, vegetable, etc. but the highlight of the brunch is the prime rib. The prime rib is cooked perfectly to my taste, (medium rare.). In my own opinion, if you eat 2 to 3 pieces of prime rib, you get your money worth already. The brunch also comes with one free drink, coffee, hot tea or iced tea. The staffs are really friendly, we end up talking to the people works at the bar the entire time of our lunch. They also have a bathroom right inside the restaurant that you don't have to go elsewhere to look for one, it is a unisex bathroom. It's pretty clean. I also learn that in the evening, it is kind of a whiskey tasting that they offer small plates instead of real dinner food. We will definitely go back from time to time to enjoy the brunch. Reservation is a must.

Yelp
Escape to Eleven! An affordable weekend brunch buffet for a nice get together with friends and family. It was only $35/person and $16/child (10 years and under). Eleven had a little bit of everything from soup, pastries, fruits, salad, breakfast meats and other main entrees (we had fish/chicken), vegetables, starches, desserts and even the drink. The menu in front listed a carving station but I must have missed it or there wasn't any. The going rate for breakfast buffets runs around this price at some hotels, but the buffet usually ends at 10:30 am. At Eleven, the first seating for brunch buffet is at 8:30am, and you can come later at a later time. The last seating is at 1:30 pm and seating time limit is for 90 minutes. It's located in the left back corner of the Ala Moana Foodland Farms. As you enter Foodland Farms, just walk straight ahead where you see the sign "Eleven". Why Eleven as it's name? it's the 11th store. There were some regular square wooden like table seatings along back with smaller round black table seatings on the right side. The bar was on the other side with bar seatings. The weekend brunch buffet items were in the middle and it came with hot tea, coffee or ice tea. At the end, a tray of 4 mini tarts /desserts are brought out. Eleven's brunch buffet was such a nice assortment of buffet items! Reservations can be made on Open Table website or by phone. They are closed on Mondays & Tuesdays. Wednesday-Sunday Eleven is opened near dinner time to a late hour for drinks, handmade cocktails and Signature small plates. The restaurant wasn't as large for a large party but probably best to make reservations ahead of time. All the seatings was along the perimeter of the restaurant. My favorite items were the Chinese style fresh catch and ulu hash brown. It was a great addition to my smoke meat & clam chowder! Maybe next time I'll see if they have the carving station. Remember the brunch buffet is only on the weekends. Excellent service and ample parking outside of the hour parking stalls fronting Foodland Farm. There was a large shared one-stall restroom at the entrance of the restaurant for men and women. I highly recommend this place for the Weekend Brunch Buffet!

Yelp
Ever feel like starting the day with a cocktail? Now's your chance! Eleven has started a brunch buffet, and it is so fun! If you havent been here, know that the atmosphere is secluded and upscale....almost feels like a vip room. They have the same excellent customer service, but now with brunch! Here's a breakdown of what we had... Cinnamon hot toddy Strong and delicious...warms you up! The cup could have used garnish or something to make it look festive, but so tasty! Butterscotch hot chocolate (non alcoholic) Delicious and addictive...I wanted more... Bacon scone Surprisingly sweet, instead of being savory Kanocha soup Was savory, instead of being sweet I expected the reverse, but these complimentary flavors definitely went together well. Chicken Had nice flavor but was a little dry Potato fingerlings These had nice flavor but they were a little undercooked Rice Not sure of all the flavors but this was very good ! Persimmon salad and Korean apple salad These were just ok..not my fav Eggs with red peppers These were good and I dont even like red peppers! Short rib So delicious, melt in your mouth good. Broccolini This was a little crispy, but still very delicious Pork belly This tasted very good and the mustard was an unexpected twist Pumpkin cream cheese danish This was just ok... I'll pass next time French toast The texture was pillowy soft, but it could be a tad sweeter Desserts They weren't my favorite Peppermint tart and the Apple tart needed more flavor We will definitely be back for more brunch..and cocktails!

Yelp
I just love this place! Here are the reasons why: - Good SMOKY old fashioned! It is hard to find places that smoke their drinks. They have a very high powered smoker which just ads that little yummy touch to the drink. - We usually just pop in, no reservations and can get seating with no problems. - They also have a reasonably priced brunch buffet they offer on the weekends. - Remember, this is not like a full fledged restaurant with heavy food options. They are small plates, more of a place to either start or finish your evening. - #1 reason we go- the staff! We love to sit at bar counters and when you have bar staff that are not only attentive but talkative and fun- makes the entire night better! This weekend we had the pleasure of chatting with Allan (pronounced All-An), Tim and their chef (so sorry I can't remember his name!) They are just the best. Not sure what you want? Talk to them! They will help you figure it out. Really nice crew and we would highly recommend visiting Eleven Location: If you have never been... it is INSIDE the Foodland Ala Moana store. Go into the store and go straight back on the left side towards the liquor section. If it is after the Foodland is closed. Their door is on the outside of the building closest to Piikoi.

Yelp
For my notes: Went for brunch buffet. I thought the food was kinda just ok. It's a small selection but a couple of things weren't bad. The restaurant is sorta small and we sat right by the entrance, which was kinda noisy and people keep walking in to check out the place so it's noisy. The service was good and I think they did a good job replenishing the buffet items if they ran out.

Yelp
First time here for the Brunch Buffet. Food was good. Their drink menu is also available for an additional cost to the buffet. I ordered the Irish Coffee which was so delicious that I could have had another if I wasn't driving.

Yelp
First, let me say this is our third or forth visit to Eleven for their weekend brunch and as usual the food is all excellent, the facilities are bright and clean and the staff is very attentive and friendly however we did have some challenges this time. We are a party of 8 and on open table you cannot book a party larger than 6 so my wife and I each booked a party of 4, assuming we could probably be seated next to each other, but if not we were ok with that. On open table there are 2 choices "bar seating" or "standard seating" and we both selected standard seating. Having been there several times we know how limited the seating alternatives are so my wife and I arrived about 20 minutes before they opened to make sure we were first in line and had the best opportunity to sit near each other. No one came out of the restaurant until 2 minutes before opening time and the host took our names and found both reservations and asked us to come in. Once inside he told us we would be seated at 4 very small round, low cocktail tables. I asked if we could please sit at the standard height rectangular tables and he said they were all reserved. I expressed a concern that we had booked "standard seating" via open table, so I didn't understand how specific tables could be reserved, as there were only 2 choices "bar" or "standard". At any rate I was not successful in getting us moved so the 8 of us, including 7 adults had to sit wt what I can only describe as 4 miniature, short cocktail tables. The tables were very low and at least 3 of the adults could not put their legs under the tables, and I know at least for myself it was very uncomfortable having to bend over to eat at these tiny tables. As a restaurant these tiny, short tables should be replaced with standard tables, or at a minimum provide an additional seating selection on open table to select "bar", "standard" and "cocktail" seating. Very disappointing to spend over $300 for a breakfast buffet and have very uncomfortable seating where our legs couldn't even fit under the tables. A waitress did thank us for coming and she told us on open table we could select the type of table we wanted so I opened the app and showed her there were only 2 choices and she said well I should have added a request note to open table or called them and made my request. She was trying to be helpful and I appreciated her concern, but it shouldn't be quite so difficult to book a reservation for eight with standard seating. As extraordinary as the food is, I will have to think twice before I try to book here again. So disappointing

Yelp
The food was delicious. The price is awesome . Service was great except when we checked in the 2 people at the front counter were not very friendly. They didn't even crack a smile. Bring that was my first impression of the place I was a bit worried that this maybe a mistake in coming here. But turns out it was just those 2 that probably woke up on the wrong side of the bed. It's a very small intimate place and I liked that. You have to try this place! All the food was delicious but the soup was not warm enough for me

Yelp
Classy speakeasy vibes found in Foodland Farms Ala Moana. You can access it from inside the store or from the outside. A lovely choice for a romantic date, girl's night or group night. Lighting is dim, but still illuminated. There isn't a plethora of seating so reservations are a good idea. Parking: Ample parking, however the stalls directly in front of Foodland are all limited time parkings. Not sure if the mall monitors this but to be safe we parked on the opposing side (beach side), since it was just a short walk across the marked crossing by the main light entrance. This is the back side entrance. Drink: (~$16-18) Really some of the best local inspired drinks you will ever have. I am definitely one who appreciates when there is a great balance between tasting the spirit AND tasing the noted flavors. In my opinion, Eleven has mastered this. The Bicol Express was an absolute homerun. A Filipino inspired spirit with hints of ginger, jalapeno and coconut. A lovely play on an almost savory flavor profile, with the added "hands on" aspect of stabbing each tropical jelly. The drink itself is clear, so it's unique that each sip is packed with flavor. The Oolang Rouge was another notable, unique drink. We also tried the Jan-Ken-Po, Kope-Negroni and the Lapsang Manhattan. All good, if you like a very "spirit-forwad" taste. AKA.... It's Strong! Food: (~$5-20) We tried a varaiety of their "bar-bites" type of offerings. This is more of a "pre-game" place. Not really a place to fill up on as a meal. However, the food was excellent. All dishes have such amazing depth of flavor. Most noted for me were the HOKKAIDO SCALLOPS. We also tried the Beef and Brioche, House Fried Potato Chips, Popcorn and Hamachi Carpaccio. Note, carpaccio was market price ~$20, but well worth it! Service: Service was top-notch. We were immediately greeting upon arriving. We had multiple servers wait on us. Each very knowledgable and able to accomodate our requests. Best of all, the water refill service! It is always a big plus for me when the staff is nice enough to continually refill our waters. Great job! **NOTE: they also have weekend brunch Saturday and Sunday from 8:30am to 1:30 pm (last seating). Currently, $35 pp, $16 p child (10 and under). Heard many good things but haven't had the chance to try yet. They even have a PRIME RIB CARVING STATION. **

Yelp
We tried the pork belly with puffed rice with was really good which reminded us of Vietnamese tet kho. "Bugga was mean" -my BF With the anniversary deal, we got an angels envy old fashion for $8.44 which is a steal and tried an ichiro chichibu whisky which we also liked. In addition, tried the signature low ABV cocktail, "pineapple ice", which is great for lightweights like myself. However it was a little pricey at $17 Overall it was a great experience with good service, food and drinks!

Yelp
This review is for their $35 holiday brunch buffet. I love buffets because I get to try a variety of different foods, but they can get expensive. This one is perfect if you don't want to go all out but still have the option of eating as much as you want. I was able to get one of the last spots on OpenTable the day I made the reservation. I called to confirm and they actually said I could come earlier! The interior is intimate and classy. The buffet is a single long table down the center of the restaurant. You can only take from one side, but lines were not an issue when I went. Some of my favorite dishes were the curry kabocha soup, potato gratin, and short rib (so tender!). My absolute favorite was the chicken, surprisingly. It had a nori arare crust and was really moist inside! The butterscotch hot chocolate I got was also super festive and comforting. The desserts were the least memorable part; maybe I was too full from the food but I didn't find myself wanting to finish the desserts I got. The chocolate peppermint one was good though. Keep in mind if you come at a later reservation slot, there is a chance that some items will have ran out. So don't be a grinch about it like another party I witnessed. The staff was kind enough to replace a protein that ran out with a different dish. So I got to try even more variety! Haha I really love this concept and hope they continue it in the future.

Yelp
For the month of December, Foodland Farms in Ala Moana Center is doing something new. Their restaurant/bar is doing a weekend holiday brunch buffet for $35pp. I just had to try it out because it is the holidays, and it is pretty reasonably priced. BTW, did you know that it is called Eleven because the Foodland Ala Moana store is the 11th Foodland to open on Oahu? Cool. First of all, you won't find all the glitzy bells and whistles of your pricier buffets. No crab legs. No prime rib carving station. No omelet station. You will find some pretty good and creative dishes, though. To start, of the little breakfast pastries, I loved the coconut danish and chocolate banana macadamia bread. Fresh fruit included kiwi & berries and persimmons & dates. The winter greens with pecans & pears and a citrus maple vinaigrette was refreshing. The hot items were impressive as well, but the winner for me was the roasted chicken with togarashi crust and ume glaze. It was tender on the inside with a crispy skin. So tasty! The sticky short ribs were fork tender. Don't leave without checking out the dessert tray. The lilikoi curd tart should not be missed! Coffee and tea are also included but give one of their holiday beverages a taste. I really enjoyed my pomegranate mimosa. It's a nice upgrade from the traditional mimosa. I look forward to seeing more special events like this from Eleven. We wish this was offered more regularly. Maybe because this is a new venture, we did notice service was a bit slow.

Yelp
First, let me say that it is difficult to get someone on the phone to make a reservation. Second, it is even more difficult to find availability for this brunch buffet on Open Table. That being said, we appreciate the hostess finding space for us on the day we dropped in to check it out. Yes, we did have to wait about an hour, but we were accommodated, and the customer service here is good. The restaurant is small, and seating is limited. The buffet options were also limited but.. it is only $35 per person. The Kabocha Curry soup was different but tasty. Fruits were fresh and mostly sweet. I really enjoyed the Fuyu persimmon and dried dates salad. It was tart and sweet, yet refreshing. Reminded me of a "mui" type taste. There was a small pastry selection. The best of those were the nutella croissants. Airy and chocolaty! The french toast and the breakfast scramble were okay. There was also Jasmine rice, grilled broccolini, thick slab bacon (looked like pork belly), fingerling potatoes, asian sticky "rib," and roast chicken. I enjoyed the potatoes, and the sticky rib was one of the better dishes. We didn't try their Christmas drinks but did get a coke and a complimentary iced tea. Side note, soda is not refillable. I don't think we will be back to this brunch buffet any time soon. There were just not enough items that we enjoyed to make this trip again.

Yelp
I had no idea this cool new whiskey bar existed until my friends invited me to go there after dinner. It's behind a discreet door in Foodland Ala Moana that opens into a classy but relaxed space with a large bar and tables. Love the elegant chill vibe! The menu was so creative and inviting I had a hard time deciding what to get. I was full but I wanted to try so many things! I decided on the Oolong Rouge-a lovely floral gin-based cocktail served in a martini glass with a maraschino cherry after tasting my friend's. Her hubby had a smoked whiskey drink that was also delicious and came with a presentation. I like popcorn but theirs is one of the best and most gourmet I've ever had! Of course adding bacon fat and grated Parmesan makes anything rich and good! Combined with the sage makes it next level! I couldn't stop eating it. Dying to go back!! And now I will with fellow Yelpers!! Chaching!! Holiday cheering!!!

Yelp
Looking for someplace to eat on Easter morning and came across this place while picking up coffee. I kindly asked the gentlemen (bearded man wearing a lei) at the podium if he could accommodate two people. He abruptly said "Sorry we can't accommodate you." Wow, not even a "Wow, so sorry but we're super busy this morning for Easter but we'd love for you to come back. We're open on Saturday and Sunday." Nothing of the kind!! I was super excited to find this small hidden restaurant in our local market but now I won't be back. Too bad because of employees like this, your local grocery store that has a restaurant in it will lose out on local customers. Auwe!!!!!!!

Yelp
"I don't want to live, I want to love first and live incidentally." - Zelda Fitzgerald Blasé. Blasé. Not much loving here! My cocktail homie and I had ELEVEN on our list for months. The planets finally aligned and we decided to slip in after a night of fancy at Margotta. Located in Foodland Farms Ala Moana parking is easy peasy. It sounds odd located in a grocery story, but props on the aesthetics and sophisticated lines. However, oh nvm! I had a five paragraph draft going on, but won't waste my breath and don't want to get personal with the waiter eyeing my homie's skirt and my Armani belt lol. *snap* you wish lol. We just felt an odd vibe here. We had dinner earlier, so just ordered small plates of BEEF & BRIOCHE and SAKE CURED SALMON, but both fell flat. The Herbsaint Absinthe and Le PARISIAN saved ELEVEN from Eleven minus Nine equals Two Stars! Instead I'll round up and I'll be okay with granting Three Stars! ELEVEN FOOD - 3-STARS! ELEVEN COCKTAILS - 4-STARS! ELEVEN SERVICE - 2-STARS! ELEVEN was one of the weirdest encounters I've had for cocktails. The potential of a Zelda speakeasy is there, but the vibes just off. I've been to Speakeasies in Paris, London and Kyōtō, so maybe my standards are just at a different level? Nah! He was just weird AF! Please follow my adventures on IG: @eric_travel_guru

Yelp
Nestled away on the Ewa side of Ala Moana Shopping Center behind (or backside of) Foodland Farms lies a little gem of a place. If you are looking for a quiet place to chill after work or just hang out with friends and enjoy a cocktail or two, this is great place to escape from the busyness of the Food Court or even Hookipa Terrace on the 4th floor of the mall. They have a fine selection of signature cocktails, as well as am impressive list of notable whiskeys and spirits. They also serve small plates (pupus or tapas). The small plates are the perfect size, not too filling but just enough while sipping a cocktail. The place is a calm, relaxing atmosphere. They are now offering brunch buffets on weekends through the end of the year. Great service, great place to escape, and you can even do your grocery shopping on the way home. LOL. And of course, plenty of mall parking.

Yelp
Same stars, no change from my initial visit. And disappointed when they don't have some items like pistachio baklava, sweet potato pie and roast pork. What I like: -Butternut squash soup: very creamy -Brussel sprout -Poke -Scone The chicken with nishime is super salty; fruits not too fresh. Service alright, at least they refill my ice tea 3 times but not in a timely manner (when your suggested tips is starting from 20%, I would expect better). They are not busy compare to last time I went. I won't be back after this visit, but they are cheap for AYCE purpose.

Yelp
Love the ambience and the service. It's a very nice and elegant bar. This is hidden in the Foodland farms Ala Moana. There's a red door pass the counters when you enter through the store or there's a red door closer to Piikoi if you're entering from the outside. If you like whiskey this is the place. They have a large selection of whiskeys and they call it "whiskey business". They also have many cocktails to choose from The oysters were our favorites. The hamachi is also a must try.

Yelp
We seen the advertisement for brunch, the pictures look great, but the restaurant should include a small print like a *reservation recommendation * And the time before we went for a drink, I mentioned about food allergies, and the waitress didn't know coriander is cilantro

Yelp
Located in ala moana foodland in the back by the alcohol. This place is perfect for a date or grabbing drinks with a friend. Service was very prompt and friendly. My first time here I asked if there were any Yuzu drinks and the server was able to ask the bartender to make me one! Yuzu salty dog is literally my favorite drink now. It has Yuzu, gin, and matcha. I will get this every time. The basil gimlet redux was also my favorite: egg white, gin, lime, basil. Yum!! Food was also pretty tasty. The potato chips are actually delicious paired with the beef and brioche and for the bone marrow you get 3 pieces! Definitely coming back for the drinks and trying out new food!

Yelp
Food was great. Wish I could eat more. Service also was great...very attentive wait help, pleasant. A little small but comfortably cozy.

Yelp
Happy Holidays, Hawaii! What a merry experience I had at Eleven with their Holiday Brunch Buffet. There were quite some dishes to choose from and ever dish was delicious. Definitely come try the buffet while it last. It's best to make a reservation via open table. Trust me, you'll enjoy the simple Christmas festive-ness, not too over the board and not too basic.
