The 20 Best Restaurants In Downtown Miami - Miami - The Infatuation

"Eleventh Street Pizza is a great New York-style pizza spot, and where you want to go if the line at Miami Slice sucks. Their slices are foldable yet firm, and made with a delicious sourdough crust. Our favorite is the pepperoni and hot honey pizza, which comes topped with Calabrian chili paste, caramelized onions, and little pepperoni cups. The huge Sicilian square slices are great too. It's great for to-go, but they also have indoor and outdoor seating where you can enjoy your pizza with a bottle of wine." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo

The 16 Best Pizza Restaurants in Miami | Eater Miami

"While this list is about pizza, it’s hard to talk about Eleventh Street without mentioning the garlic knots. Unlike the chewy, greasy ones you probably grew up with, these dense sourdough versions are blanketed by paper-thin Parmesan shreds and won’t pierce your throat with an acidic sting of garlic. Pair them with the venue’s signature pork and beef meatballs or spicy Caesar salad, and it’s almost a complete meal. Of course, you’re coming here for pizza, and these guys have the whole pepperoni and hot honey thing locked down. Customers love the seasonal, limited edition pizzas, whether it’s a caviar and potato pie (which might be coming back) or a summery release topped with corn and serrano chile. The downtown location, open until 4 a.m., is best suited for pickup and quick munching, while the Dadeland venue is great for family-friendly, sit-down dining." - Ashley Brozic

The 15 Best Places to Eat and Drink By the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida Home of the Miami Heat | Eater Miami

"Pizza and sporting events are a classic combo, which is why grabbing a slice or even a whole pie at Eleventh Street Pizza is the perfect beginning or ending to the evening at Kaseya Center. The NY-style pizzeria, housed in the former Fooqs location, serves up classic and not-so-classic pies like the wild shroom topped with maitake mushrooms, thyme, garlic, shallot, mozzarella, garlic confit, caramelized onions, parsley, and sourdough breadcrumbs." - Dara Smith

Google
The meatballs were very good, lots of pureed garlic in there and the sauce they're served in was DELICIOUS ( it is NOT the same sauce found on the pizza though), Soso pizza, unfortunately! Too tough and dry but the sauce and cheese were of nice quality... The "butter" on the knots didn't seem like nice quality and I even wondered whether it was real butter. And the place seemed to lack LOVE... OH and it was also way too crowded and warm in there especially given the price point :/

Google
This place was highly recommended, and we decided to give it a try. We ordered the buy one get one free cheese pizza special and had it delivered. Often I worry about a delivery but we had no problems with the delivery or the quality of our pizza. The tomatoes have a different and a very good and unique taste to them. The dough was perfect. The ingredients tasted very fresh. So much flavor for just a cheese pizza, we absolutely enjoyed their pizza. It does stand alone with its unique flavors. We thought they had great tasting pizza and we look forward to trying more of their pizzas and food.

Google
They have many options of pizza. Hot honey pepperoni is super fire, not too hot and not too sweet but perfectly balanced. Lunch specials here are clutch. Service is always friendly. They have seating indoors or outside. They have draft beer with can and bottle options and other drinks as well. Garlic knots are really good too. Portions are a bit on the smaller side but you won't feel bloated after.

First off….. the pizza is amazing, one of the closest pizzas you will find NY style pizza in my opinion. The place is such a vibe! Music, ambiance, and energy is lovely. Lauren is so sweet to all her customers!! She made sure we felt welcomed and was attentive to us the whole time. It’s such a vibe at night to grab a bite and yap!! Love it!!!

Google
Pizza is decent. I’ve definitely had better. My pizza tasted kind of old at first but I just heated it up in my oven and it was fine. Overall it was okay.

Google
We were in the area and decided try this spot since it was so close. The owner is very pleasant. We had the lunch special with rolls. The food was tasty and ready rather quickly. She also put some fresh parmesan cheese on the slices. It’s a quaint and small place to enjoy some pizza and relax.

Google
Overall so disappointing. My husband and I use to come here before my son was born 7 months ago and wow has this establishment changed. Don’t even bother looking for the service to be performed, they are charging you for he service they don’t do, yes they are charging a “Dine in service fee” to literally order your food at the counter and still have to remind them for certain items. After that don’t count on them checking in on your table. It’s basically ordering take out to just sit and wait to take it home, but get charged an additional fee after your supporting their business. To be honest they are already so expensive as it is!! I mean $15 for a small Cesar salad I can buy a whole head of lettuce and make it myself for less than half the price and $37 for a pizza, like WOW smh. The best part that floored me was that they served us with paper plates and plastic utensils!! We were in shock. So not only do they not take your order at the table your subject to polluting the planet more by the way wasting paper plates and plastics utensil! Honestly the quality has gone down the drain! I highly would not recommend. Oh yeah a side of ranch which was not even 2tbsp was $2. I mean I can literally make my own and sell bottles of it! So dirty to rip off your community who is supporting your business. We will no longer promote this establishment or be dining here! To give them even a star is beyond nice.

Google
Never have I ever paid $50 for a pizza, garlic rolls, and 2 drinks only for it to be served on paper plates. This place used to have a great atmosphere and use real utensils, glassware, and served drinks instead of giving you the can. The pizza was great but garlic rolls tasted frozen and sub-par. Very different from what it used to be. I’d recommend pizza to go, but that’s it.

Yelp
Very good pizza love that they gave me lots of basil with my order. The place if a little hidden in the downtown Dadeland area but worth checking out.

Yelp
We Ordered take out for our first experience here. Friendly staff but the kitchen didn't follow the directions throughly with some of our modifications. We got sold on the current collaboration with Apocalypse BBQ. The description didn't match what we envisioned- our pizza lacked the jalapeño. The meatballs were good. Glad we got the curiosity of trying this spot.

Yelp
The service was good, but the square pizza was incredibly bready and the spicy Caesar was heavy on the dressing it was overpowering. This is my second time at ESP but first time at this location. I regret not getting the traditional pie since the square was like eating a thick piece of bread.

Jake P.

Yelp
Great food. A dine charge that's 4.50 is just insulting especially for a 30 dollar pizza. Any business owner should be ashamed because he has a great product but the place is dead because he does things like this... especially when your customer is already paying for parking.

Yelp
Yum! So happy that there is now an Eleventh Street Pizza on the mainland side of the bridge! It's pretty pricey, but we love a good pie, and this was a good pie! Will definitely be back. Service was great, it is a small place with seating inside and outside but the staff took great care of us and brought the food to the tables outside when it was ready. We are definitely pizza people, next time we will try something more classic like a plain cheese but this hot honey pepperoni was an explosion of flavor, same for the garlic bread. All in all, we will 100% be back!

Yelp
I absolutely love this restaurant, they do not provide table service, but that just gives you that original New York style walk up and sit yourself feel. The best part about the restaurant was the service provided by Brandi and Diego, they were just so much fun and keep the place looking spotless. I adored their attitude and exceptional service, they will keep me returning to the establishment, as well as the delish meatballs and Provincial Pizza(I think I spelled it right). Everything is so fresh and appetizing, was hard for me not to order more. The vegan chocolate chip cookies were impressively good as well. Great music, bathrooms clean, open from 12-10pm everyday, lunch special 12-2pm 2 slices(cheese pizza) and a soda for $9.50. Wine and beer options.

Matt P.

Yelp
I usually don't write reviews, but my visit to Eleventh Street Pizza - Dadeland today made it necessary. I came in to pick up my order, and the employee at the counter, Ian, showed an alarming lack of professionalism. He didn't greet me, didn't offer any assistance, and treated the interaction with clear disinterest and disrespect. It felt like I was a bother just for picking up food I had already paid for. There was absolutely no effort made to deliver even the most basic level of customer service. If Ian is the face of this location, management needs to take a serious look at how their staff is representing the business. I won't be coming back.

Yelp
Went last weekend for a quick lunch after a visit to Dadeland. This place has been on my radar forever. First off the garlic knots -- incredible texture, crispy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside and covered in garlic and herb butter. Next we got the Brooklyn style cheese pizza. This was also very special, an incredible crust and really great flavor. The last pizza we got was the square hot honey. This one fell a bit flat for me compared to others I've tried, but it was still really good. We finished off with the cookies, which were good (more crispy than I prefer), but not out of this world. The place is very cute and quiet, but service was a bit slow for how few people were there. Nevertheless, I will definitely be back for more of those garlic knots and Brooklyn style pizza!

Yelp
I'm not sure why the reviews are the way the are. This place is phenomenal! It's so cute and clean. Also, I love that it is dog friendly. The service is always on point and everyone is super friendly! Now let's talk food! Everything and I mean everything, is amazing! Nothing on this menu will disappoint. I love that most of the pizzas come with the option of regular slice or Sicilian. Their garlic knots are out amazing! And by the hammer of Thor, their spicy Caesar salad is a must!! I mean I have never had a better Caesar salad! Their pinwheels are also a great starter. Now the wild shroom pizza, is like having the most delicious French onion soup in pizza form! Holy smokes!! And the hot honey and pepperoni, brings such a great balance of spice and sweetness from the sauce and honey. This is my new local spot for pizza.

Yelp
Took my family to 11th st Pizza at Dadeland. I assumed the Pizza quality would be like the downtown 11st Pizza. Dadeland Pizza sucked. The pie was smaller than standard. The under carriage was major flop . The cheese was soggy and would fall off the bread. Every bite was an operation. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Jessica S.

Yelp
Tried the hot honey pizza and it was definitely tasty. Not cheap, but I'm willing to pay for quality. The real rub for me that made the high price of the pies annoying - I've never been to a restaurant that charges to "dine in", and I eat out a LOT. I get it that pizzas are often a carry-out item, but adding a nearly $6 charge just to sit for 30 minutes to share a small pie with my husband for lunch on a Sunday means I don't tip your staff. Plus, it was empty! Why build out a restaurant area if you don't want people to stay? Seems like a sure-fire way to annoy both your customers and employees.

Yelp
Nestled in downtown dadeland...The place is small and my only complaint (because the service was great and so was the food) was that the air wasn't working and while they opened one set of doors, it wasn't enough to fully let in a breeze so it was warm inside while dining. Normally outdoor would have been fine but given the unexpected Florida weather it began raining. Now onto the food, we started with 2 orders of garlic knots since our group was larger than 3. I definitely recommend an appetizer cause the pizza takes a bit to get to you. We ordered 2 different pizzas. Pepperoni and Hot honey Sicilian style and the Brooklyn Cheese New York Style. Both delicious.

Yelp
Consistently great pepperoni pizza! Downtown location. I've never tried the Kendall location. Service 5/5 always! Clean bathroom and seating area. Parking on the street is easy to find too. This is my go to when Miami slice isn't available lol.
google avatar

Cristy G.

Yelp
Cute little casual spot to grab some delicious pizza. we ordered the round pepperoni hot honey pizza which is was our first time trying ever, and I must say this will be our new favorite pizza order! The dough was crispy and not too much cheese , just perfect amount! the bread knots could have used a little more garlic in our opinion it was a little dry but overall highly recommend coming here for pizza.
google avatar

Stephanie A.

Yelp
This was my first time ever trying the Sicilian pizza and I am OBSESSED! The combination of the pepperoni, hot honey, and basil were an explosion of flavors. I also tried the meatballs and they were *chef kiss. This is a great place to have dinner with the family, in case moms don't want to cook.
google avatar

Anna M.

Yelp
I came here despite the reviews because I saw hot honey on pizza as an option but it was red pepper flakes and regular honey. However, that's not why I'm giving this place 3 stars. Service was lacking and I was waiting so long for my order to be taken. I thought I had made a mistake and had to order at the cashier first. When I got up to ask if I needed to order at the front first, they apologized for taking so long. The pizza was okay but there isn't much variety in their pizza options. You also can't split a pizza order. I do think the best thing on the menu is the garlic knots. I'm not a huge fan of garlic rolls but these were pretty good. The dessert was also disappointing. I ordered a Chocolate chip cookie and it was so hard, it made it difficult to split for two people. I would've thought they would've warmed it up at least a little.

Yelp
We popped in for lunch in a Saturday and were the only ones there, which is rare. The pizza was fresh and tasty, however very expensive. Not sure if I would return, but defeintly worth a try if you like new places with good pizza!

Philip R.

Yelp
This is uncommonly good pizza. The ingredients are top notch and they have some unique recipes. The dough is noticeably better than your typical neighborhood spot. Service is basic counter but they have always been attentive when I go.

Yelp
I'm so happy I found this place five minutes from my house! I'm going to add it to the regular rotation for sure. My friends and I tried as many menu items as we could. We wanted to order a few of the appetizers, but they had run out of most of them. So we just ordered the meatballs and Cesar salad. Both were really delicious. The meatballs were big and an order of three fed six people (half each) and it was more than enough. The Cesar salad was also delicious. The pizza stole the show. My favorite was the Brooklyn cheese with added burrata in the New York round style. I highly recommend adding burrata to anything! We also ordered a pepperoni and hot honey in the Sicilian square style. It was also really good, I just prefer thin pizza over thick. The restaurant is small and also has seating outside. It was quite warm inside but we managed. I could tell they were busy with take out and pick up orders which is always a good sign. I can't wait to go back and try it again!
google avatar

Alex S.

Yelp
Very very good pizza. I haven't been to the main location, but we took out pies from here. The plain cheese was very good.
google avatar

Eddy A.

Yelp
Oh man, what a treat. Small little place with a great vibe--music selection on, great service, and casual cool. The round pies are just as good as the square pies and everything I ordered was great which left me wondering how good everything was that I didn't get to try. I'm looking forward to the return so I can try new pies. Must try if you are in east Kendall, Pinecrest, Dadeland area.
google avatar

Rebekah M.

Yelp
You really should try this place! It's difficult to find hot honey pizza, but they did it flawlessly. The pizza and dough were delicious! The outdoor seating very cute! Will definitely be coming back!
google avatar

Krista D.

Yelp
Best garlic rolls i've ever had.. like actually. Tiny unsuspecting place but some of the best pizza and appetizers i've ever had. The salad was perfect and I cannot emphasize enough how good the garlic rolls are. Just get them and thank me later.
google avatar

Vala Z.

Yelp
Lady at register had an attitude with me and refused to give me my pizza even when it was ready. She made me wait an extra 20 minutes after the pizza was ready to go as a punishment for trying to locate my pizza after refused to acknowledge my presence the entire time I was waiting in line.
google avatar

Emily A.

Yelp
I am bias because I believe in no pizza left behind. But this spot, was *MWA* (insert chefs kiss gesture) My friend was going through a breakup and after her hours of tears, she needed a pick me up. This was open later than most places and I thought I'd give it a try. SO WORTH IT. The quality of the pizza was delicious. I would drive out of my way just to eat this pizza again. Nice perk: download the app for a free cheese pizza!!!
google avatar

Lisa W.

Yelp
Who charges a 15% dine in fee!? Just say take out only and don't provide tables. Ridiculous
google avatar

Alex R.

Yelp
Was looking for a new a veggie pizza option and was not disappointed! I ordered La Provencal and it was loaded with toppings and delicious.
google avatar

Drew N.

Yelp
I was in the mood for some pizza while in MIA and came across this gem. Walked into a warm, comfortable dinning room and was promptly greeted by a very friendly staff that was eager to serve us. We enjoyed delicious Cesar salad followed by a meatball dish that words due no justice. When I jumped into the pizza I thought I was back in Italy. Strongly recommend Eleventh St. if you are in the area!

Nick M.

Yelp
I've been here probably 10 times since they opened about a year ago and it has become my family's new favorite. The food is always so consistent and fresh, and the staff is always so welcoming and friendly. Diego and Adelayda have helped me quite a few times and always engage in great conversation and give recommendations. Meatballs, spicy Caesar, and the Brooklyn cheese are all 10/10.
google avatar

Alex C.

Yelp
Ordered two pizzas and one Caesar Salad for pick up. One hour for pick up, total was $100. Pizza was cold and small. Not impressed.

Roxann W.

Yelp
Waited over an hour just for one pizza, salad and garlic knots. I was told it would be a 20 minute wait. The entire staff seemed unorganized and overwhelmed. Also the pizza was somehow cold when I got it. They told me the salad was what took so long... and then pulled a premade salad out of a fridge. Would not recommend this place.

Sharyn B.

Yelp
This place is super annoying. i never even got the pizza; if you live further away than 30 minutes you can't adjust the web order to be longer than that and you can't order a pizza over the phone. So I never got to the place, paid for it in advance and essentially threw out that money. They never answered the phone after a few tries, kept getting "memory full". WILL NEVER RETURN. "

Hector A.

Yelp
Pizza is good but the delays and the service aren't worth the food. Sad because the Downtown location is great but since the Dadeland store opened, they have not been able to get there act together and it's truly not worth dealing with just for overpriced pizza.
google avatar

Davon L.

Yelp
Small little pizza shop, sadly the day I decided to come in was the worst day for them because the AC was broken and I was sweating my chair. They couldn't exempt our parking passes either because their system wasn't working. The server was acting strange like he didn't even want to serve us. Every time we would say something we were ordering he would just tell say "is that all" as he kinda backed up further and further from the table until he completely left us without taking a complete order from us. We ordered two pizza pies, the Brooklyn cheese and the Pepperoni w/hot honey Sicilian style as well as an order of garlic knots, personally I preferred the Brooklyn cheese even being a pepperoni kind of guy. The Brooklyn cheese had great taste, whereas the pepperoni w/hot honey personally did not hit for me the way I would've wanted. Garlic knots were okay I tore them up cause I was hungry.

Luis C.

Yelp
The food is very good. Portions aren't that large and everything is extremely over priced. Despite how good the food was this is Miami, not Italy.
google avatar

Dr. D.

Yelp
The service was horrible. I visited the establishment with my Service dog and the manager complained about having to clean my table as I was leaving. Moreover, no water was served to me while I waited for my food to arrive at the table. I also had a burger I was finishing from another restaurant while I waited for my pizza order and the fenale manager complained to me about that. In a restaurant that didn't seem busy, since I sat in one of seven tables outside and all the other tables were empty, it's very discouraging to see the lack of willingness to serve the customer and treat them well. definitely NOT recommending this place to anyone, there are tons of pizza places with great food and service!
google avatar

Lurda J.

Yelp
Got eleventh street pizza for takeout on new years, and it was delicious. Thin/medium crust, plenty of delicious toppings, and difficult not the eat the entire pizza in one sitting. Service was quick and easy. Ambiance is great for dine in as well.

Jordan R.

Yelp
The original wait time went from 20min to 40+. First they give me only one order, when I ordered 2, which apparently wasn't mine, after checking the box before returning it, it was garnished properly, but when it came time for mine, no Basil were added, when I returned to ask for some on my pies, I was told they were running low, and the few they had weren't good. which is insult to injury when you charge more for ordering your pies to go, instead of dining in. I don't want any special treatment, but I'm treated with half a**ed service, its enough to never come an establishment, no matter how good their food is. I guess I'll settle for Miami Slice from now on.

Brenda B.

Yelp
Worst service EVER , the app is an actual scam , they sent me a free pizza offer once I Sign up for an account , in order to get that pizza I had to add another item $5 dollars minimum to the order so I add 1 Cookie for $5 dollars , once I paid for the order which the delivery was only $7 dollars, the order didn't reflect the pizza so I called the store telling them the pizza was missing so they tried to add the pizza and I had to pay another $4 dollars for the delivery. Long story short. I ended up paying $11 for the delivery . No manager could help me or anything I had to pay double for the delivery! Most unpleasant experience !!!

Greg F.

Yelp
showed up at 4p for their advertised slice deal which was supposed to last until 4:30. the attendant simply said they were "sold out" and was unwilling to help, get a manager, make another pizza for slices, nothing. The only option offered was to purchase a $20 pizza (14"! What a ripoff). That's no way to treat a potential customer who is now a never customer.
google avatar

Duncan S.

Yelp
Amazing pizza but they NEED to figure out something with their UBER eats. They offer a buy one get one free deal which is great HOWEVER The app will tell you that your pizza is ready but when you arrive you will be made to wait 20 minutes or more...... This makes ordering from this place an issue because despite the high quality pizza the issues with providing proper times on the pizza causes confusion
google avatar

Arturo A.

Yelp
So lucky to have this place in Downtown Dadeland! We moved around here a little over a month ago and have been here 5 times already. Both deep dish and thin crust pizzas are great. Definitely recommend the spicy Caesar salad. The garlic rolls are awesome. Very friendly staff.
google avatar

Jany B.

Yelp
Serious pizza for a serious pizza eater. WOW the flavors are amazing. So rich and yet simple. Delicious. HIGHLY recommend.
google avatar

Alex T.

Yelp
Pizza is delicious and expensive. I do find it amazing BUT the wait and the price is not worth it.... I'm not sure if the server didn't put the order in but we were waiting for over an hour for a pizza and there was one other table in the restaurant it was not busy at all. Would never eat in the restaurant definitely always take out and even when I've done take it they say 30 mins and it's more like an hour I just know to go late. On top of this server was rude
google avatar

Jeanette G.

Yelp
Great experience, attentive service. Small little corner restaurant but feels cozy and familiar. Meatballs were the star. Margarita pizza was very good. Definitely a repeat.
google avatar

Kristy S.

Yelp
Ordered from them via Uber Eats- 3 delivery drivers cancelled bc they took so long to prepare the order (it took over 1.5 hours when it was supposed to be 30 minutes). They said they don't prioritize Uber orders, but if that's the case then don't use their platform for deliveries. I tried calling and they didn't respond, the Uber driver tried having them speak to me but they refused. Horrible customer service, definitely will not be going back for mediocre pizza and HORRIBLE customer service.
