Google
This is the same famous Chicago based Eli's cheesecake that we have had on the far northwest side of Chicago for probably over 15 years. They have a huge and wonderful selection of cheesecakes to grab and go here at O'Hare airport. My favorite is the traditional chocolate chip Eli's cheesecake.

Google
I tried the original cheesecake, which was delicious! It was very creamy and soft. The size of the slice is relatively small though for $5.99 plus tax (compared to other comparable cheesecake slices). This cheesecake is not just sweet, but has a tinge of sour tartness and maybe even a slight hint of salt. Overall, great cheesecake.

T T

Google
Stopped in to grab a sweet treat and was served the tiniest thinnest slice of cheesecake I’ve ever seen. It was $8 USD plus tax and the slice didn’t even occupy a third of the container it was in. It was pre packed in the container and looked very dried out. The cheesecake itself tasted okay but certainly not worth the cost even for airport pricing. These should be advertised as a cheesecake bite.

Sophie

Google
got the salted caramel and it was good! however very pricy for $9 the slice is tiny! they also have ready made pizzas for $12 the pizza was ok nothing significant! i wouldn’t get it again

Adelaide Miller

Google
Super disappointing, the slices of cheesecake were thick and at least decently creamy but lacked any flavor otherwise. As a baker and cheesecake lover, I was upset at paying such a high price for one of the worst slices of cheesecake I’d ever had.

André Brasil

Google
Some reviews I’ve found online said Eli’s was the best cheesecake in Chicago. As I couldn’t make it to the one in the city, I’ve tried a couple of flavors at the store in the O’Hare airport: the traditional chocolate chip and the strawberry. Tasty, but I wouldn’t bother to eat there again. I really hope that was not the best Chicago had to offer.

Google
This is the best cheesecake I’ve ever had! The turtle is perfect for chocolate lovers, while the strawberry, with real fruit, is delicious and not too sweet. I can't pick a favorite—they’re both amazing! Perfect texture creamy and smooth!

Ryan Braemer

Google
Was so excited to bring home a choc chip cheesecake. They looked delicious and I was told the small frozen ones were perfect for traveling so I grabbed one for just under $20. Got on my flight and a few hours later my family and I opened it to try it and we noticed mold on the top of the cake. Blue, furry mold. Straight to the trash can. The listed phone number doesn't actually go to their shop, so doesn't look like we have a way to get a refund. I'd either a) stay away from this shop or b) THOROUGHLY inspect anything before eating it. Gross.

Yelp
Been through Chicago dozens of times and usually get Garette's, well now this place is on my list. Some of the best cheesecake ever. I would make a special stop for this stuff. I asked the cashier if she actually like this stuff and she lit up. That is when know it is not just me,

Yelp
In addition to making amazing cheesecakes, Eli's is a family-owned business that values their customers and their experience. My son goes to college in Chicago, far from his home. When there was a mixup with his delivery, Eli's went above and beyond to make it right. They delivered on Saturday (when the bakery is closed), and added a personalized note and lots of birthday extras. How do I know their cheesecakes are amazing? They sent a sampler to me as well.

Yelp
It's ok. I'm glad I tried it. The slice I chose was the Cherry Jubilee. This particular slice is smaller than the others. It might have been better if I let it sit out to warm up a bit.
google avatar

Yelp
It may taste good but what a rip off $10 for half a slice of cheesecake! Ridiculous never again.

Yelp
Ok experience here. Of course you should expect airport pricing, and we did get that ... but the cheesecake was just ok. Part of the problem is the pre-sliced cheesecake just sits there in a cooler for a long time. If they don't sell enough to really move product, the cheesecake is a bit gummy on the bottom and just ok. All-in-all this outlet gets just 3 stars ... the cheesecake was passable, but $8.50 per little slim slice wasn't really worth it. We had slices of a Key Lime Pie and a Carrot Cake ... both pretty average. You'll get your sugar rush, but not much satisfaction. The employees working the shop were nice and friendly.

Yelp
My sister wanted to try Eli's Cheesecake since apparently it's an established cheesecake shop based in Chicago (cheesecake distributed to certain grocery stores across states and shipping ordering is also available). Conveniently there's a stand selling the cheesecake at O'Hare's Terminal 1 as well. Don't mind if I try a bit myself! The plain one was decent. Had a light tang to it. Sufficient creaminess. Nothing else more to say about it. I also tried the cookie crazy one and oh boy was it super sweet! There was cake frosting on top and I had to scrape it off because it was so sweet. I didn't get much of a cookies 'n' cream taste from the rest of the cheesecake.....still mainly straight-up sugar lol. The brown cow one wasn't any better at least for me because the chocolate mousse tasted just like Hershey's milk chocolate (heavy dislike on that kind of chocolate). My sister pretty much had the same opinion on these cheesecake flavors. Definitely was feeling a sugar crash right after eating the cheesecake (I guess it could be helpful eating them right before flight departure so you can easily knock out in the plane lol). Overall I can recommend just the plain one unless you have a gigantic sweet tooth.

Yelp
Convenience is the best part of this location. When rushing through the terminal for your connection flight, the last thing you want is to wait in line for food. We got fast food for lunch and then decided to try local cheesecake for our desserts. Both brown cow cheesecake and white chocolate raspberry cheesecake was good! The wraps looked good but it was around $17 and considering how small they are, we didn't get them. There was no line when I got there and it is close to the security gate. Compared to other airport pricing, it was not so bad. It does seem they have more varieties at an actual store so if we come to Chicago, I would like to try their shop rather than the one at the airport.

Yelp
Not sure if there is some type of optical illusion going on because the slices looked larger in the case than it did after the cashier pulled a slice out for me. I heard this place is a Chicago icon but I think it's not as good as other places such as Juniors, Stew Leonards or even Costco. Service was friendly though. Carrot cake looked good though (not cheesecake) so maybe I'll try that on my return layover.

Yelp
Eli's Cheesecake was the last place I needed to see after departing concourse C, within Chicago O'Hare International Airport. Funny because it initially caught my eye prior to departing Chicago O'Hare International Airport as well, but at the time a cheesecake was the last thing I wanted to eat during the morning hours. I was acknowledged immediately by the employee but needed a few minutes to decide what I wanted to order; and at the time, the employee was very patient with me. I ended up ordering a cherry vanilla bean cheesecake out of all the other cheesecakes on display. There were no disappointments in the cherry vanilla bean cheesecake ordered. I was satisfied with the visual appeal of it, along with its delectable taste which I enjoyed with no f*cks given about when I would leave Chicago O'Hare International Airport. I had a pleasant ordering experience with Eli's Cheesecake. And as indicated in this review, I enjoyed my order and would surely order from again. Eli's could easily become a frequently visited place for me post flight arrivals in time. ~ Be Kind. ALWAYS. ~ Thomas G

Yelp
I had a slice of the Cookie Crazy Cheesecake and it was pretty good. There were lots of big oreo pieces inside, plus a decadent topping of more oreos and chocolate. The cheesecake itself was creamy and had a nice taste, not overly sweet. The slice was the perfect size - it was small enough that even though the cheesecake was rich I didn't feel heavy as I sometimes do after eating a big piece of cheesecake, but big enough to be satisfying. It cost about $8 which I wouldn't want to spend on something like this outside an airport as it wasn't anything mind-blowing. Also the person working the stand was super nice!

Stacie S.

Yelp
Super pleased with my last chance Chicago hotdog with Vienna beef in United Terminal 1. It had a steamed poppy bun and was legit. Price was super reasonable for airport food too!

Janelle J.

Yelp
Carrot cake was very good! Yummy cream cheese icing. I thought the prices on individual slices was very fair at around $7.

Yelp
The thing good about this place is that in Concourse B at Chicago O'Hare Airport is that there is not a line like everywhere else has. So if you are looking for something super fast or something as simple as a bottle of water and you don't have time; this is the lane for that 'bill of fare'.

Yelp
About 17 years ago while dating my now wife we flew into O'Hare and we power walked to the Eli's location in the airport to grab cheesecake prior to getting on our connecting flight. The foodie wife swore by it and was dead-on accurate by saying it would be worth the sweaty power walk. We finally got around to flying into Chicago to actually enjoy the city. Our new favorite city btw after spending 3 days here enjoying the sights, architecture, vibe, chow and beverages. Fortunately this time we were right near the Eli's cheesecake shop which was in between our incoming gate and outgoing gate. We grabbed a variety of slices for our flight home. For the record, my favorite type of cheesecake is ricotta cheesecake but if well made I'm still a very big fan of cream cheese cheesecake. The slices are small so we should have purchase more. That was our only mistake. But the price is fair for airport pricing and quality cheesecake. NOTE: they close pretty early but we were lucky and made it by 15-20 minutes before closing CHERRY CHEESECAKE -- layered cherry is blended in from the front tip to the back end; shortbread cookie crust; dense, smooth, creamy texture; medium sweet or more; continual tasty cherry flavor throughout each bite; great with coffee; tastes of cream cheese given texture and flavor RATING = A CARAMEL CHEESECAKE -- tastes and looks like chopped walnuts embedded into the the caramel layer on top; tasty firm caramel; smooth, dense, firm cheesecake; very creamy; not crazy sweet for caramel cheesecake which is surprising as most are very sweet RATING = A PLAIN CHEESECAKE -- Madagascar vanilla bourbon used inside per their site; tastes of cream cheese given texture and flavor; smooth, firm, dense and delicious; clear light sweetness or a bit more lean towards medium sweet (not too sweet though); vanilla taste prevalent; I drizzled some 365 brand dark Canadian maple syrup on part of it to add some delicious maple flavor (still not too sweet considering maple syrup added); sometimes "plain Jane" is the best and this is my favorite especially since I can add a little of my favorite dark maple syrup to add extra excitement to the palate; very creamy texture; shortbread cookie crust; this was the wife's favorite as well RATING = A+

Yelp
I was in the airport and needed a quick snack. Being a sucker for a good cheesecake, I stopped by to pick up a slice. I think you can also get a whole cheesecakes as well. But it would be hard to take it on a plane, as it needs to be refrigerated so maybe you could if you're going home. A slice of plain cheesecake was like $3.50, which is very inexpensive. It's a medium size piece and I was able to satisfy my hunger before my plane took off. The cheesecake was pretty creamy in the middle and a little more crumbly on the sides. They also had maybe 4-5 other kinds of cheesecake including chocolate. I think the other slices other than plain could be a little pricey but still not bad.

Yelp
I've been looking forward to this as cheesecake is one of my favorite desserts. I chose the chocolate fudge cheesecake. The slice was about half the size of the Cheesecake Factory slices. The cheesecake was delicious. Not overly sweet but definitely decadent and rich with lots of chocolate flavor. The crust was a brownie that went to the top of the slice. The upper cheesecake chocolate mousse layer was very rich. Finally, the top of the cheesecake was covered with a light chocolate lattice and coco powder.

Yelp
Stopped by because who wouldn't want cheesecake? Picked up the carrot cake and Pumpkin Praline Cheesecake. My slices appeared larger then the other reviews (you can pick since they're right behind the glass). The carrot cake was meh but the Pumpkin Praline was the BOMB. I think I had a dream about it that night. We still talk about it at home. A little pricey (total was $12ish) for 2 slices but it's the airport ya'll. I saw a few full cakes that you may be able to purchase whole. Good for a last minute present. There's a few tables nearby to sit at and people watch as you enjoy this delectable treat.

Yelp
Service with a sneer and okay but not great cheesecake. The plain was dense and creamy but the crust tasted like cardboard. A total detractor from the cheesecake. The biggest detractor from the experience was Ramiro, the clerk, who has few manners and would rather chat with the girl he works with than attend to those who ultimately pay his wages. Dude... That's me! Maybe I need to spend more time in Chicago to understand the culture? Thirty minutes in the airport didn't leave a very good impression this

Yelp
I was walking through the airport and the cheesecakes in the cabinets caught my attention. I am a huge cheesecake lover, definitely one of my favorite desserts so when I saw these I had to stop. After looking at all of the flavors I settled on the lemon mixed berry cheesecake. The cheesecake did not dissapoint. I love that instead of traditional graham cracker crust it was more like a shortbread. The cheesecakes was not too dense and the berry was delicious. The lemon flavor was perfect, a great lemon flavor but not overpowering. The whipped cream on top was a perfect compliment to the cheesecake. The only regret I have is not getting more to enjoy later because as soon as mine was gone I wanted more.

Yelp
Quick service for amazingly delicious cheesecake. It is all very straightforward. Once you feel the crankiness that air travel seems to magically produce in travelers, try to find the nearest source of sugary delight. For our stopover in O'Hare Airport, Eli's Cheesecake was it. You just choose the cheesecake that calls your name (caramel for me in this particular stop), pay for it and bring it to your gate and I dare you to keep that frown you are saving for the airport personnel on your face. The only thing I did not really like is that they did not have water on tap so we had to buy a bottled water (we have been traveling with our own water bottle to try to be more green when we travel so this thing kind of has become a recent pet peeve). Aside from this, the lady was very helpful and the cheesecake was so delicious. If you are in O'Hare and in need of a reason for a quick smile, go and forget about your diet and get a cheesecake from Eli's.

Yelp
I was wanting a plain Cheesecake with some berries on it, unfortunately they didn't have that. I decided to go with the White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake instead. While it doesn't exactly taste like cheesecake, its still very good! A bit pricy for a slice though, $6.68 after tax. Can't expect cheap food in an airport though. Also, Yelp is showing that this location is closed. It's still open in Terminal 1 near gate B8.

Zemin H.

Yelp
We ordered plain cheesecake, it was creamy and rich, it's for my wife's birthday at airport. Both my wife and me like it, she even went back for second piece:)
google avatar

Sherri O.

Yelp
We ordered the overpriced gelato The woman used an ice cream scoop which is wrong for gelato and gives you only half the amount. I asked her to use the proper scoop which was already there and she said no. Don't go. Rip off.

Yelp
During a trip that was pretty much defined by bad food, this was one of the low points. The "cheese" portion of this dessert was weirdly slimey; more like custard than cream cheese and the crust tasted like wet cardboard. I threw it away after three bites. They get two stars for good service and recyclable forks.
google avatar

Sumi S.

Yelp
Tried their classic cheese cake ($4.19). This is the cheesiest cheese cake i've ever eaten. I isually dont like the base in cheesecakes. But this one was as yummy as the cheese. Ended up licking the fork.
google avatar

David F.

Yelp
I thought this was a safe idea for a snack, didn't consider the slice could be so tiny and cost almost $7. But it is the airport so need to keep expectations low.

Yelp
I ordered two different cheesecakes to be shipped as Christmas presents for two different people. I soon received an email saying my order has been shipped, with the two different tracking numbers. After a few days, my Mom received hers and loved it, but the tracking number for my sister's cake still said "delivery pending". I waited another 5 days and it still said "pending". I decided to contact them and ask what was happening, and they tell me that the cake was out of stock. Really? Instead of telling me it is out of stock when I ordered it, you tell me it has shipped and give me a tracking number and let me just wait until it's too late to order another one in time for Christmas? I mean, it's not a big deal if it arrives after Christmas, but what a stupid way to handle this situation. What, were you just going to keep the money if I didn't say anything? Also, it still says it's in stock on the website. Needless to say, I went with a different company for my sister's cake.

Yelp
3 1/2 stars. I was running between terminals and needed to grab lunch to go. I got the Key Lime for dessert which made my flight much more enjoyable.

Yelp
Terminal 1 -- B Close to United Airlines gates If you need a last-minute item to bring home from Chicago...go to the Eli's Cheesecake-to-Go kiosk by the United Gates - Terminal 1 -- B. I was first introduced to Eli's cheesecakes...when one of my family members brought a few over from Chicago. I bought three cheesecakes home when I went on a business trip to Chicago. I placed one inside my suitcase (a chocolate chip cheesecake)...and the other two...I had to hand-carry since I couldn't tilt it to its side--(in a dark garbage bag) haha -- I felt like some sorta criminal because I looked as if I had a small child inside this garbage bag!!! ---I checked with the United people right before I got onto the flight to make sure that a large garbage bag was okay to carry onto the plane...and they were cool with it (I was SHOCKED!). Anyhow, the Tiramisu is yummy... I think it's as good as...if not better than...cheesecake factory's. If you do plan to buy some at the Airport, I'd suggest that you bring a large decent looking bag with you. (Unless they now have larger bags..) --- Otherwise...you may feel like some sorta terrorist with a large black garbage bag! =P~~

Mark L.

Yelp
Was at there cheesecake festival big disappointment, was there about 6 weeks ago the had the same exact deals, and no Dippers same thing at there event no deals and no Dippers, They had some in the parking lot but those are not sealed. So Eli's Booo on not being prepared.

Yelp
The Salted Caramel is to die for!

Leriza P.

Yelp
Newbie. Dinner, before boarding. The wrap was unexpectedly refreshing. Good stuff! I only ate half, it was more than filling, which made for a perfect snack later. The cheesecake -- we got a key lime and a "skinny" original. I say, skip the skinny. It's a SMALL portion with half the flavor. No kidding, it's "skinny" because you don't want more. BUT, when I combined it with my slice of key lime cheesecake, it was manageable. ;p

Vance B.

Yelp
I'm a bit puzzled by the rave reviews. I stopped there and had the chocolate fudge cheesecake. It was dark brown but lacking in any sort of chocolate flavor. It also was missing the tang that cheesecakes are supposed to have. The "fudge" part or the title lived up to it's name as the thing had a very sticky and dense texture. It was not, though, what I would call pleasant. The crust was also long on the brown food coloring and short on the chocolate. It was thicker than the crust on most cheesecakes and very hard to cut through with plastic utensils. I'm not sure what it was made from but it reminded me of wet cardboard. Overall, I won't be back. I'll stick to the cheesecakes at Whole Foods. They are cheaper and have way better flavor.
google avatar

Gigi A.

Yelp
Their cheesecake is the best cheesecake this foodie has ever tasted. The lady was super sweet and helpful. A great bite to eat while you wait to board your plane. I can't recommend this place enough. If you have a long layover (or you're flying united), come to the terminal 1 between gates B8 and B9 and grab slice for your flight or a whole cheesecake to take home :)
google avatar

Justin R.

Yelp
Even for being at an airport this place blows. If you like frozen cheesecake for $5 a slice this place is for you. You will also end up having to pay for a $3 water here because they don't have any cups, never have, never will apparently.

Jackie B.

Yelp
Love their cheese cake, its so tasty everyone should try it. Its my favorite spot to get a good cake. This place is amazing i totally recommend to everyone to try.
google avatar

Evelyn V.

Yelp
I love O'Hare and I didn't know they had Chicago style cheesecake. A little pricey just like everything at the airport. I ordered a raspberry cheesecake with a raspberry gelee on top with a chocolate crust. It was good, not the best ever but I would definitely eat again! Made my flight much better. I would like to go to an actual store it would probably be much better,
google avatar

Ann L.

Yelp
I recommend Lemon Mixed Berry Cheesecake! Lemon zest is refreshing and not too sweet. Perfect dessert for a flight. $6.99 a slice.
google avatar

Lauren J.

Yelp
5 bucks for a slice of non-plain cheesecake - it was good, not great. A little too soft.
