Where To Eat In Richland Center

"This tea shop has a massive selection of milk tea, fruit smoothies, and fruit tea, all of which can be customized. Essentially a Build-A-Boba, you can be as detailed as you want, picking sugar levels and the amount of ice. Plus, it has toppings ranging from everything from tapioca to Oreo cheese foam." - john ringor, adrian kane

Elite Boba - Review - Chinatown - Chicago - The Infatuation

"You can walk around Wentworth, Cermak, and Chinatown Square and never find Elite Boba. That's because this great bubble tea spot is actually located underground, in the Richland Center's basement food court. This tea shop has a massive selection of milk tea, fruit smoothies, and fruit tea, all of which can be customized. You can be as detailed as you want, picking sugar levels, the amount of ice, and choosing toppings ranging from tapioca to Oreo cheese foam." - John Ringor

I had a very disappointing and unpleasant experience here. I ordered a boba drink (Green Grape Jasmine Green Tea), and when I about to drink it, I found a hair inside the cup. This is extremely unhygienic and unacceptable. Finding something like this in a drink is not only disgusting but also raises serious concerns about cleanliness and quality control at this store. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their hygiene standards, because customers should feel safe and comfortable when ordering food and drinks.

I’ve always been a fan of their milk teas and they’re great. This however is purely a rating for their mango sago. It was so so so sour. The sago pearls were frozen and no longer chewy. Barely any coconut/evaporated milk.

I like their variety of drink and customizable options here compared to other boba tea places in the city. Their boba is chewy and sweet but sometimes overcooked and mushy. I love their tea and yakult drinks. My only other complaint is that it is a small location and the wait can be over 20 minutes during busy times (weekends and weekday afternoons).

The waitress was pretty rude. They ignored us for a bit, despite us making eye contacts, before taking our order. I asked for recommendations but got a curt response. The milk tea was okay, lack of flavors and too much milk.

[Updated] I tried this boba for the 3-4 times. I always stop by this place when I visit the Chinatown, and it's the same every times. ------------------------------------------ For me, this is one of the best places for the boba milk tea that I ever try. The taste hans't changed much since the first time I tried. The service is better than before. They added more items in their menu. ------------------------------------------ I really love this place. Their drinks and toppings are so amazing. Their menu has lots of different options of drink to order. You can order with their from or create your own drink. You can order on their website, on the screens in front of the store, in store with staff or in the delivery apps. The things that maybe make you unhappy are it take a long time to wait or sometimes you have to ask for your order, because they not have enough staff and so busy.

Such a fun and delicious variety of boba tea at this location! They allow you to fully customize your tea to your liking. The bobas are also perfectly textured a d the flavor is awesome! Highly recommend this little hidden gem!
