Ella

"This cozy cafe bistro may feel a bit like Europe, but its white brick walls are lined with black-and-white photographs of Hollywood's golden age. Nab a seat at the bar to chat with the friendly staff or sink in to one of the booths with vintage sofas at this trendy and inviting spot nestled within Sixty Hotel. They're all perfect for snacking and sipping on playful cocktails like the Pompeii, with flames flickering from the coupe. Executive Chef Brian Min's casual menu is inspired by Mediterranean, Asian and Italian cuisines and includes sandwiches, pasta, and pizza. Crispy glazed duck wings might be his signature dish, but bucatini pomodoro, bolognese, burgers and steak frites are also popular. For dessert, go straight for the sticky toffee pudding." - Michelin Inspector

Versatile New Beverly Hills Restaurant Ella Comes from Umbrella Group | Eater LA

"Arriving February 10 on the first floor of Jason Pomeranc’s Sixty Beverly Hills, the incoming Ella is designed by Austin Melrose and built by Umbrella Hospitality Group as a multi-part neighborhood spot with a daytime café, a Bottle Shop/wine program, a dinner menu, cocktails, and evening music. I like that it aims to feel both slightly Prohibition-era and super open — barn doors, multiple seating and lounge areas, and a bright, cozy interior with a front “middle garden” room, booth seating reminiscent of the former 101 Coffee Shop, and a back dining room to hold 120 diners. Chef Brian Min’s menu ranges from charred eggplant dip, focaccia with elderflower honey and black truffle butter, kumamoto oysters, and glazed duck wings to a section of fresh California produce, pastas like bucatini pomodoro and orecchiette with fennel sausage, broccoli rabe, tomato confit, and anchovy, plus entrees such as dry-aged grilled branzino, roasted half-chicken, tomahawk steak, and thin-crust pizzas from a custom oven. Cocktails by Zachary Patterson and Dorian De Tappan put contemporary spins on classics (kimchee Bloody Mary, Ella old-fashioned), the Bottle Shop focuses on natural wines and even waives corkage if you gift a glass to a stranger, and the coffee bar runs 7 a.m.–noon with dinner service starting at 5 p.m. — the space is pitched to everyone from laptop workers and caffeine seekers to people looking for power dinners or late-night entertainment. Ella, whose name means “goddess” in Hebrew, is intended to bring a bit of Los Angeles backyard energy into Beverly Hills." - Mona Holmes

Google
Ella is a great brunch experience, the decor was impeccable and Sundays have a live band that begins around 12pm. The execution of the food was great and the cocktails are the quality you'd expect from an Umbrella Hospitality restaurant. You may notice small inconveniences, however, such as there being no coffee menu, that have you requiring extra assistance from your server.

Google
Nice atmosphere for brunch, but food was okay, and service was slow. They have an unlimited prosecco brunch option where you get three different juices to choose from to add to your unlimited prosecco. It was cute, fun, and came in little jars. Food wise, the portion sizes are large and are just okay. I got a dish, which was a pile of soggy chips with two fried eggs on top. While the eggs and avocado were nice, the rest of the dish was pretty wet. Aside from that, the cornbread was good. The restaurant was pretty empty, but still the service was really slow. We found out at the end that they were short staffed. The place is nicely decorated, but I probably wouldn't come back.

Google
Very cute restaurant with live music. Came for brunch and had the cactus cocktail and the breakfast pizza- both were really good! Live music was nice. Sat at the bar & Ezra was great! Had good recommendations and was super friendly. This hotel also has a cute rooftop bar with great views of the city.

New brunch spot at Sixty Hotel in Beverly Hills. Love the spicy pepperoni pizza! Live performance on Sunday.

Had a super breakfast here. Great ambient and food quality. Had drinks coupons so they are free.

Google
There is a great band playing…. Like really great! The place has like a really nice old world vibe to it. It’s comfortable and relaxed. The food is decent. Something is not right with the kitchen/service though. Things don’t come out, drinks take forever…. When they come they are good, but if you come here, be prepared to chill and don’t get upset about waiting 10 minutes for that vodka tonic.

Yelp
Great neighborhood restaurant with good food and entertainment. Excellent cocktails but remember this place adds the tip as so many other restaurants in Beverly Hills.

Yelp
Returned for a 2nd visit and was much less impressed. Our drinks did not have the same 'mmph' as our first visit, the upstairs had very limited seating available as there was a private event yet it was still accepting reservations, the prices on our bill did not reflect the physical menu price. Would likely not return for a 3rd visit. None the less the ambiance is great just was turned off by the mis cues.

Yelp
The ambiance is Incredible! They went out of their way to make my matcha the exact way I love it.

Yelp
I had such a wonderful dinner here with friends, so I was thrilled when I saw they were open for lunch and walking distance from my job. Unfortunately, the lunch didn't come close to the quality of the dinner. I got the BLAT sandwich. The bread was too thin, small, and not toasted enough. The bacon was ordinary, over crispy bacon, and the salad was just lettuce. Sure, the dressing was wonderful, but nothing but lettuce? And this is all, after tax and tip, almost $30?! Yikes. I was so mad afterwards, especially because I was still hungry and had to get a croissant at Chaumont. If I were them, I'd rebrand the lunch restaurant because it is devaluing the exceptional dinner restaurant. Lunch = 0 stars, dinner = 4-5, so I'll say 3 average, even though I want to do 2, reliving the experience while writing this. Blah.

Yelp
Reservation: super easy to make online Parking: only valet, which was $15 for two hours with validation of the restaurant Service: super friendly and accommodating staff here! Shout out to Esra who helped us and was so amazing. Food: food was mediocre though, we did pizzas (pepperoni and margarita) and pastas (vodka and spaghetti). Drinks are pricey but good. Place was empty on a Saturday night, crazy because the place is so cute but not the most accessible location so I get it. Service charge is already included which is becoming more common for these hotel/restaurants.

Yelp
We had a wonderful Sunday brunch @ Ella. It's located on the ground floor of the SIXTY Hotel in Beverly Hills, right next to the Ferrari dealership. Being that it's Beverly Hills this area is a great place to have a meal. The hotel and the surrounding areas are very upscale and is very different from many other parts of LA. We live close so we decided to stop in for brunch. It's really well designed on the inside, with subway tiles, intricate rugs and lights that really add to the ambiance. It's retro, but in a classic, non-diner, type of way. They have a live music area, however no one was playing during our brunch. Parking in this area is pretty easy as we found free street parking in the neighborhood behind the hotel, otherwise the best option will be valet parking at the hotel. We were seated right when we arrived and there were only about 3 other occupied tables so it was much more calm and quieter than we are used to. Our server was very fast and checked in on us often. We started the meal with some Almond Lattes and a Croissant. The lattes were very good, but you could tell the croissant was not made in house, but rather bought from outside, so it was not as fresh and flaky as I hope for them to be, so I can't recommend ordering that. Our entrees were fabulous though. We chose the Prosciutto Benedict and added avocado, and the Wake Up Plate, which is 2 eggs, bacon, toast, and side salad. We both really enjoyed our dishes and would both order them again. Pricing is also very fair, which I was pleasantly surprised to see given that it's hotel pricing in Beverly Hills. Overall a great breakfast option and a location that we plan to visit again soon in the near future. Highly recommend giving Ella a try.

Yelp
Mussels and Bread, seriously, what more could you ask for? (I'm sure a lot, but it's the perfect amount for anyone who's had a large lunch and wants something small and warm for dinner). Also the kale salad was fresh and perfect as a sharable. Other people in our party ordered the steak frites (not pictured) and it was also super tasty. The rosemary focaccia with the honey butter was delicious - highly recommend sacrificing some health for these carbs. Our server was prompt and incredibly helpful in choosing items on the menu.

Yelp
Had so much fun ...they had to beg us to leave lol Food was great and drinks were strong. Best part of the evening was Garret! We had so much fun with him serving us. Can't wait to go back when he is working. His sassiness makes it an entertaining evening.

Yelp
Ella is the ground level restaurant in the Sixty Hotel located on Wilshire and Crescent Drive in Beverly Hills. This restaurant opened about 2 years ago during the pandemic, it mostly caters to the hotel guests but it also open to the public. Valet parking via hotel or limited street parking within a block away. Indoor seating only. Because there is No outdoor seating, I wouldn't consider dining here. I've only ordered for take out and had coffee drinks togo. The plate of mussels has been a repeat order of mine and recommend it. On select evenings and weekends there's a music group that performs live music, which I have not seen, only have seen them prep the stage area as I pick up my takeout. Weekends lots of locals come here, most families with the baby strollers and little kids running wild and off leash uncontrolled by parents, so I prefer to avoid that, but if that doesn't bother you, by all means. The lounge seating area is cool, with jeweled toned seating, mixed with brasserie type decor. Full bar and a small section of wine for sale too. This restaurant is next door to a Ferrari dealer, so after purchasing your other car, a Ferrari, walk to Ella for a celebratory drink and meal.

Yelp
The food was amazing, the 360° view on rooftop was gorgeous and in the heart of BH was fun!! We enjoyed brunch having chilaquiles the flavors soo on point and amazing and the drinks were great too!!! Great hangout at the pool. From valet to servers the service was great highly recommend and worth every penny and minute.

Yelp
Food was great! The experience was terrible. Met a group of friends here and the music was awfully loud, we had to yell to communicate. We asked if it could be turned down and were told it was going to get louder because a private party was about to start in another section of the business. No joke, the restaurant transformed from a classy Italian eatery to a trashy night club in mere minutes. Tasty food but deceiving, trashy environment.

Yelp
I went to Ella for a quick solo dinner while on business in Beverly Hills, and had a great experience. I was seated at a table perfectly sized for 1 and service was quick and attentive. The ambiance was everything - so much fun, with old motel-themed decor and fairly lights all over. I had two generous pours of an excellent natural wine and got the little gem salad, followed by the pasta alla vodka. Both were great! I wish the pasta had a bit more cheese, but that problem can always be solved by asking for extra :) the vodka sauce was excellent and the homemade pasta was perfectly al dente. I'm hoping to return to Ella on my next visit to BH for brunch - and would recommend to anyone for dinner in the meantime. Cheers!

Yelp
We came for Lower Deck Sessions and it was SO much fun! Every artist was beyond talented, the brunch food was delicious and the cocktails were so fresh. Our server Lindsay was so sweet, you could tell that it was packed because of Lower Deck but she was running around getting drinks and food out as fast as possible.

Yelp
The ambiance here is amazing! The Christmas decor and overall vibe was so nice. They have a great cocktail menu + happy hour with some discounted food options. We both loved our drinks, starter salad, and our pasta + pizza. (We got the pepperoni pizza with honey & vodka pasta- forgot to get pictures, we dug in quickly!) Service was great and we had a lovely time. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Valet is available or there's free meters on Sunday. Read signs for meters during weekdays and Saturday. residential parking is mainly 1 hr only. Restaurant main level of a boutique hotel. Super cute with Christmas decor right now. Bathroom is located nearby but outside restaurant down a hallway past the elevators. Service: our server was nice and attentive. Food: friend had the lox bagel she liked it and I had the vegetarian omelet (mushroom? Denver) sans the meat and subbed it with impossible meat. Quite tasty and I would say portion is a little on smaller side which is likely normal size in other countries. Cornbread was tasty! Drink: friend had the Cactus Prick and she thought it was ok. I wanted the sangria but they didn't offer it that day. I went with a basic mimosa which is hard to mess up. Overall, it's a cute quaint place. For and drinks are nothing to rave about but ok to come if in area.

Yelp
I went here for dinner but I got brunch vibes. It's a very cute spot. I would probably go back in daylight. We got the branzino and steak. The steak was very melty and good. I would definitely recommend the steak. The branzino was fine. I found the flavors to be very strong, I would have preferred lighter flavoring. Their chilled reds were nice, I was inspired to put an ice cube in my red wine a couple of days later. Can't wait to go back and try other items.
google avatar

Yelp
Super yummy! Been here two times and I can't figure out why this place isn't busier!! It's such cute a aesthetic and ambience for bunch! I love the design and the food! My favorite things so far are the cornbread because it's heaven and the pancakes! You can not go wrong with either. I had the breakfast sandwich once and it was yummy but not stand out. Also the drink are a little bit hit and miss but the espresso martinis are great!
google avatar

T J.

Yelp
Met some friends for dinner here and long story short, I wouldn't go back or recommend it. Why? Service was pretty bad. Not only were they incredibly slow, but the manager gave us attitude the whole night after we asked them to turn down the music in the dining room. Sure it was a Friday night, but there was literally 2 other people in the whole place having drinks vs. our group that was about to drop a huge chunk of money on dinner. On top of the bad service, several items on the menu were not available. Did I mention they were slow? 3 hours for dinner is ridiculous. I gave it two stars because their special house cocktails were interesting and well done. Other than that, I wouldn't waste my time or money there again.
google avatar

Emily W.

Yelp
Super cute place with great live jazz the two times I have been! Overall great atmosphere, I will say that some of the other reviews about slow service are correct. Not overly crowded for dinner or the time I went for coffee/brunch, yet service was slower than expected. Food tastes great, my pizza did come out cold last night though. Highly recommend their coffee and sourdough bread! I would say it is a better breakfast/brunch spot than dinner!
google avatar

Tifania N.

Yelp
To say I was happily surprised is an understatement. I was staying at the hotel and decided to drop in for a quick brunch before check out. I ended up staying and enjoying the music, food, and ambiance. This is easily one of the best brunch spots I have ever been to in LA, it's a hidden gem. They should have a line out the door every week. I was shocked I had never heard of it before. The decor was amazing, staff was friendly, the live band was Incredible and the food was delicious. Not to mention the most esthetically pleasing iced coffee I have ever had. The host diamond was very nice and found me a spot even without a reservation. She told me they have live music or a dj every Sunday, and sometimes on Wednesdays as well. I can't wait to come back here and try other things on the menu
google avatar

Austin K.

Yelp
This restaurant fucks. We had the focaccia, mussels, olives, bolagnese, hangar steak, branzino, sticky pudding, kale salad. All really good and we enjoyed every single dish. We had a few drinks as well and I highly recommend the milk and whisker... I had two and I am not into cocktails but very good. I suspect this will be a very popular restaurant in the coming months so make sure you try it!
google avatar

Justin A.

Yelp
Fantastic brunch spot with a bright and friendly ambiance. The menu is exceptional and everything is delicious. I started with the Cactus Prick--a mezcal drink with cucumber, pineapple, avocado, ginger, and lime. I found it to be fantastic, but others in my group didn't enjoy the creaminess of the avocado. To each their own. We also ordered the mimosas for 4 --which come with a bottle of champagne and 3 different juices to spoon in yourself (if desired). For food, I ordered the yogurt and seasonal market fruit, which consisted of fresh strawberries and blackberries. It was topped with granola and honey, which was delicious. I also ordered the steak, eggs, and frites, which I must say I highly recommend. The steak was done perfectly and served with a side of chutney. The fries were thin and so crispy--they couldn't have been any better! All of the staff member were extremely friendly and welcoming. Check out Ella--I can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Mckenna C.

Yelp
The ambiance, service, and food was great. The server gave a complete narrative of the best items on the menu, and made recommendations tailored to our tastes. I came here with a couple of girlfriends on a Saturday, and it was the perfect scenery for a dressy night out with the girls, or a fancy date night. Our waiter was a little assuming, and brought us the sourdough bread on the appetizer menu without our request, but it was to die for. The bread was moist and crispy, paired with truffle butter and honey. Definitely a must-have on the menu. We then shared a mushroom pizza and a quinoa vegetable assortment with beets, zucchini, and squash. The fried potatoes with rosemary were paired with a tangy, creamy, dipping sauce. Lastly, we each ordered a drink. I ordered the Tongue-Tied Tokyo which was a gin cocktail, but i liked best the hour margarita which was blended with avocado and on the rocks. Definitely sweet but unique tasting. Overall, very good food and service.

Deborah S.

Yelp
My friend Lisa aka DJ Twee, invited me to this fabulous spot. Ella Beverly Hills is the best brunch spot I've been to by far. The French toast and the mimosas are delicious. Service was attentive, welcoming and a great vibe. The rooftop and it's beautiful views is a great place to relax or have a few drinks with the girls. Ella Beverly Hills is absolutely a must.
google avatar

Allison R.

Yelp
I visited Ella two different Friday nights in the last few months and am happy to report that my last dinner was much better than the first. The ambiance on a Friday night is fabulous. A talented live singer croons out John Mayer hits accompanied by Santana-like guitar breaks in a truly charming dining room. On the first visit, the pasta was pretty limp and sauces were unremarkable. On the second visit, the penne alla vodka & limone were much more robust. Not homemade-fresh pasta-level, but very satisfying. And the gem lettuce salad was so good that we ordered a second one. For such a lovely spot, it's bizarre that there's not a bigger crowd on a Friday night, but I suppose that's BH after 5pm. The service is...good? weird? Because the restaurant is located within a hotel, and the dining room is not full, it feels like the staff is going back and forth between duties. Our waiter disappeared at the end of the night, and we had to ask the bartender to finish us out.
google avatar

Dara S.

Yelp
Cute hotel restaurant. Ella isn't incredible but by no means is it subpar. I'd rate it a 3.5 for food, 4 being generous. Come here for a low key happy hour or dinner. My friend and I had came at 5pm on a Friday. Very low key, we made a reservation but it doesn't seem to be needed. Happy hour lasts until 5:30pm, unfortunately there are no cocktail options but there is a nice selection of food and wines. We ordered a pizza and salad from the happy hour menu and cocktails off the regular menu. I really liked my cocktail, it was a fruity and sour mezcal drink. It was delicious and beautiful, I ordered two of the same drink. Everything tastes great, the only suggestion is the pizza wasn't that hot, not cold but could have been more hot. I'd return for a low key happy hour.
google avatar

Austin A.

Yelp
The food here was AMAZING! I had this pasta with vodka sauce and LAWD! I also had a very delicious mai tai. I loved the ambiance. I look forward to coming back when it's not Christmas themed. I loved all the brick and beautiful plants. The service was nice too
google avatar

Neil S.

Yelp
Love this place! Excellent food, vibe, and service. Nice restaurant in sixty hotel but very warm and relaxed vibe not stuffy. They usually have jazz night and live music but not when we went, just some nice background music. Will def come back for that. I hear brunch is good too. We had the spicy pepperoni pizza, buccatini, and branzino. Oysters and glazed wings were excellent. Buccatini I would skip. But the branzino was craveable, super delicious. And the sticky toffee pudding I would also come just for that.
google avatar

Linda V.

Yelp
The food was great & our server went out of the way to make our experience exceptional. A friend of ours entertained that night so it was extra special.

Yelp
Amazing food & ambiance. We went on Jazz Night. The pasta is amazing, I love the pomodoro bucatini. The pizza is also fantastic, super flavorful. Love the cocktail selection there, they're all super unusual and tasty. My favorite is the Cactus Prick. Manager Jeff was super nice & helpful.
google avatar

Spencer G.

Yelp
Food was very mediocre for the prices. Ambience was cool and staff was very nice. Drinks were decent but food was 6/10

K. K.

Yelp
Came on a Thursday evening to Ella. The restaurant had maybe 3 people at the bar then a couple at a table. That's it. It took over 20mins to receive our cocktails. The ambiance is so cute though. Might come back to check out their jazz night and dinner options as we only had cocktails. As far as the rooftop, know the food is definitely "pool food" and very overpriced for what you're getting. $18 tacos for a happy hour size tacos and stale chips. I would recommend the rooftop for cocktails only. Cute vibe, but the food is way overrated. Valet is $15 for the first 2hours then $4 every 15mins. Street parking is available if you can find a meter.
google avatar

Darlene A.

Yelp
Not sure how there's not a line out the door for this place. It's the cutest little gem in BH. The service is great, friendly ambiance, cocktails are delicious, and the food is top notch. Had no idea this place even existed until we booked a staycation at the hotel. We ordered the oysters, the little gem salad (next level), and the mafaldine bolognese. Going back real soon.

Lauren N.

Yelp
This place is overpriced for average food and drinks. There are plenty of places in Beverly Hills that have way better food. I would look elsewhere. The cauliflower appetizer was probably the only thing we really enjoyed.

Krí S.

Yelp
AVOID AVOID AVOID. The server was so concerned with asking the entire table to write him a good review and mention him by name that I had to get up and go to the bar to get the glass of water I asked him for. For some reason he completely ignored me, not even so much as glancing my way even though he fawned over everyone else. As a queer person I'm used to this kind of prejudice, but the server was pretty evidently gay too. Just plain weird. As I sat at the bar to watch the band play, the same server stood directly in my eyeline, blocking the view, flirting with some guy in a suit sitting in front of me. This is not an exaggeration. The server was putting his hands on the guy and everything. Very uncomfortable. I'd have gotten better service in somebody's living room. This place left a bad taste in my mouth and felt like it was run by a bunch of bored 20 somethings who needed a hobby. Please don't go here. Save yourself from being creeped out.

Patrizia V.

Yelp
Fabulousssssssssssssssssss Have stayed at the 60 many times before Covid but not for 2 years. Delightfully surprised by Ella their new restaurant! The food is a visual delight & utterly scrumptous! Their Chef puts his/her heart & soul into each plate. Artistry! Also from the busboys to the hostess to our lovely server Izzy all were darling & hospitable. Izzy suggested a Bordeaux that was sublime to go with my steak. My friend got the Branzino & it was perfection & beautiful. After 10pm a DJ arrived & the music was groovy & the late nite crowd colorful. I read someone below said they are racist there? The staff is diverse & I am ethnic heritage & dont believe that to be true. They couldnt have been more cool & the patrons were very mixed & having an awesome time. Very chill & extremely lovely inclusive vibe...5 stars Ella!
google avatar

Olivia K.

Yelp
This place would be a 5 star but the lack of transparency at the end of the night was a problem. First, Drinks were stellar. We had the greem mezcal, Tokyo one, and milk and whiskers all amazing. Food Delicious, hot, well cooked. Mussels, kale salad, focaccia bread very good. Hanger steak and branzino cooked very well. Bologense was okay, pasta was a little too soft for a heavy meat sauce. Sticky toffee pudding was a great finish. My issue is no where on the menu do they inform you that there is a required 18% service fee. This is usually put on the menu so patrons know. It should be something customers know before not after. Other restaurants do put it on the menu. Also the service fee includes the tax on the total price. You don't pay a service fee on tax, you pay it on the food/wait staff. They should fix that in their system because it looks dishonest and is actually more than 18%.

Yelp
Vibe: just precious. Beautiful. Welcoming. Great music. Clean. Spacious. Love it. Food: YUM. Favorites are the muscles, beat salad, branzino, and the lemon style pasta! Cocktails: Very impressive cocktails. Great ice. You can tell these are mixologist's Beautiful presentations as well. Service: I've had 2 different servers and they've always been amazing! Attentive. Knowledgeable. Super friendly. This place is a great date spot. Meetings and closing business deals. Or even a go in early solo with a laptop and jam.

Yelp
Vibe - 5 Stars Food - 5 Stars Cocktails - 5 Stars Food: Let's start with the Food. The crispy duck wings are my new favorite dish in LA. Followed by the Hanger Steak. That marinade is everything. Although I choose to be mostly vegetarian, I will definitely come here to indulge on meat from time to time. Although I would be remiss if I didn't say how great the hand made pastas were. We had a group and tried them all! Drinks: I mean to be expected. They were incredible and stunning. My go to right now is Sage b4 Beauty. It's a pisco sour esq. riff. Vibe: Aside from the venue being as beautiful, bright, lush and gorgeous as I inviting as I'd hoped for, the DJ was spinning Vinyl records with a mix of funk, upbeat oldies, and some rock classics. I could have stayed all night eating, drinking, and listening to great music. Be back soon Ella. Thanks for having us! PS: Did I mention the black and white polaroids to capture some of the memories of the night were the perfect parting touch.

Yelp
Hands down one of the best brunch places I've been to in LA. The ambiance reminds me of a coastal New England area restaurant with gorgeous greenery and decor. Immediately upon arrival, my party of 9 was greeted kindly and promptly had our orders taken (shoutout to Garrett). The mimosa flight is so fun, you get a glass of prosecco and three fruit purées to add in. Highly recommend the cornbread as a starter to share with the table. I got the egg omelette as my main dish which was a 10/10.

Yelp
I tried to eat at Ella today, valet parked and then went inside at 2:45p. The flyers and online both say brunch is until 3p or even 4p. We get seated and don't get greeted for 15 minutes by the waitress. When the waitress finally comes, we advise we are ready to order food. She says "Sorry, we are not serving food anymore, only drinks. We stop food at 2:45p". We ask for a manager and no one comes. We ask the hostess about the food not being served past 2:45p and she looked surprised - she didn't even know that. We leave because the manager was taking so long. When waiting for the car, I went and talked to the hotel manager, he tracked down Chris who just seemed like he didn't give a crap lol. A complete waste of time.

Yelp
Cute interior- looks like somewhere in the south- Charleston-esque. Brunch dishes ordered were mostly pretty good actually. One of those visually unassuming but tasty experiences, with the cornbread being my personal highlight. It's more akin to a textured spoonbread and while it comes out looking very mini, it's a good amount for 2 people due to its uber richness. Lemon ricotta pancakes are custardy which isn't my preference but I can see it being a hit with many. Wake up plate is standard fare with good quality ingredients executed well. My problem is with the absolute mess of a situation between what is reflected on their website and what is practiced in person. 1- Hours shown as breakfast all day on Saturday 11am-3pm and brunch on Sunday 11am-3pm. What is the difference between Saturday and Sunday when hours are the same but one says breakfast all day? 2- Continuing with the hours shown, in spite of what's noted, the breakfast menu is not the menu available on Saturdays 11am-3pm. Instead, it's the brunch menu. 3- Brunch menu on the website includes some items that are not on the brunch menu when you go in person (i.e. PB&J Oats). 4- Wake Up Plate is $16 on the brunch menu but $20 on the breakfast menu, but wait, that's just another error because it's actually $22(?) or $23(?) for brunch when you go in. 5- Avo toast is not $11 as shown on website. As long as you go with the understanding that the website is absolutely shoddy, and you carry little to no expectations as to what is actually available, and you're ready to spend more than what's listed on their online menus, then you should be fine. End note: What is the logic behind waffles being on the breakfast menu but not the brunch menu? Are waffles for early morning consumption only and not a quintessential brunch dish?

Yelp
Had a good first time experience from beginning to end. For parking I used the Sixty Hotel valet. Entrance to the valet and restaurant are off Wilshire blvd. There was no wait time around 1245pm for Sunday brunch for party of 2. They had live music and waiter Joshua was great. Cornbread was sweet and moist. Melting honey butter added sweetness. Pancakes were also sweet and moist. Not your typical dry pancakes as the creamy topping was absorbed and made them soggy. But it was a good soggy. I really enjoyed them. Pizza tasted just like pizza.

Yelp
Took over an hour to get our food for lunch around noon. The servers were nice but we were so hungry I almost wanted to just leave to get something else cause it was taking so long to get our food. Really pretty place but the food was at best average. We had chilaquiles, blta, and eggs Benedict. The poached eggs were over cooked and not runny like you would normally expect with an eggs Benedict. We asked the server twice where our food was and he was very nice but it was definitely taking a while. The gratuity was automatically added on as well. It's so unfortunate but if I'm paying this much I expect better food and not have to wait like this. We were watching other tables get their food and it looks like everyone was waiting for a long time too.

Yelp
More like a 3.5. I came last Saturday night with my friend. We shared the kanpachi, which was good and fresh and little gem salad, which was also good and a huge portion. The main courses on the other hand weren't good. My friend got the branzino which didn't like. I got the hanger steak which was salty and burnt which I had to send back and get the pasta limone, which was better but not out of this world. My friend and I each had a drink. I probably won't be returning it wasn't worth it and it's very overpriced.

Yelp
Super cute place; got coffee and and brunch here while I was staying at the adjacent hotel. Recommend for an outing with friends or a quiet coffee in the morning.
