No doubt the best dining experience I've had in Chicago in recent memory. Incredibly reasonable for the quality of the food too. The ricotta mushroom gnocchi is absolutely out of this world. 10/10 would recommend visiting for dinner.

Everything is seasoned very well. I highly recommend the artichoke appetizer. I will say, that you get small portions for each dish. You’ll have to order multiple things to get full. Which might be pricey. But, flavor wise, it’s all very good.

First time visiting. Absolutely adorable atmosphere, super intimate and food was delicious. Portions were generous for a restaurant week deal, and the servers were all super attentive. Mimosas were great! We had a bit of a hard time finding parking and were a bit late to the reservation, but they were gracious and accommodating to us. We'll definitely be back!

I love Ella Elli for the high quality of food and the great service. It's best to come as a group and order several plates. Our favorite from a March dinner were the Ricotta Gnocci, grilled octopus, lamb, and grilled artichokes.

I had this restaurant on my list for so long, and finally when we came back to Chicago we went for a dinner! The atmosphere is just soooo cozy, the fireplace is the cherry on the top. The foood, omg everything I tried I was surprised how delicious it was! Our fav were, the truffle gnocchi,the beef tartar (so soft)🤤 and the grilled artichoke, (omg, I’m not a fan of them, but theeese ones wanted to order another plate😅.)and the burger 🤤 the horseradish sauce with was 👌🏽

This restaurant is beautiful. Food is fresh and colorful. Flavors for all the dishes are rich and there is definitely some creative touch to each one. My personal favorite was beef tartare and grilled artichoke. Mussels could have been so much better if some of them were not cold and if the size, texture of the mussels were more consistent. Staff was friendly and I hope to return to try other ones on the menu. We didn't have a reservation but was lucky to see that the bar seats were available. Italian wine we were recommended was excellent.

Ella Elli was SO good. WHEW. I’m not even going to waste time. Let’s get right into it. This was my second time at Ella Elli. This time I went for 2024 Restaurant Week Dinner. It was 5 courses. The first course was a little welcome snack. Chile… I wanted them to bring me back a whole BOWL of that wafer with the dip. I don’t even remember what it was, but 10 out of 10. A perfect way to start. My friend is vegan so they brought out a skewer with some beets and citrus. So good. The vegan curated RW dinner was such a nice touch, and the dishes were still complex, not just salad. Then they brought out the second course. I had the focaccia and my friend had the heirloom carrots. When I say I LICKED the plate clean of that goat cheese dip with that tapenade. I know they put that plate right back on the shelf WITH THE REST OF THE CLEAN PLATES! SO good. 12 out of 10. The drinks we had were so good. Over the course of night we drank the Oaxacan Garden, The Say Less, and the Trade Route. So delicious all 3. 10 out of 10 baby. The third course was a little heavier, and perhaps my favorite of the meal. I had the clam bucatini with bacon lardons which I swear to g*d was some of the best pasta i've ever had in my life. Like chile I was starting to get full. 😂😂😂😂 uh oh! the pasta was so rich and flavorful and the flavor had DEPTH. That’s so hard to achieve in these restaurants, but it was complex and truly MOUTH WATERING. I think it was the bacon fat, truly. It tasted so expensive. 20 out of 10 and was definitely the star of the show for me. My friend had the Brussels sprouts which were also delicious. I would have liked them a little sweeter, maybe with some sweet miso or peanut sauce, but still very tasty and would easily order again. Really enjoyed this course. Whewwww I was already full then the main course came 😭 I had the short rib with this IMMACULATE creamy Parmesan risotto. The perfect size portion. If it had been any bigger I would have exploded no cap. Lord it was so good and rich with flavor. Wow i'm really thinking back as i type this out like.. it was so good woah 💀 15 out of 10. My friend had the cauliflower steak which the restaurant graciously added as a vegan option to the menu. I did not get to try it but it looked good. Dessert was truly when I got greedy 💀 that apple bourbon goat’s milk cheesecake… listen. I would do things for that cheesecake! I gobbled it down so quick, and ordered another 2 portions to go. I ate the to-go portion right there in the restaurant, as you can see. I just could not help myself it was so good. I simply could not wait to get home. It was so DAMN good. Anyways, 30 out of 10 for Ella Elli. The food is delicious, the space is beautiful, and the cadence was spot on. Bonus points for having a well-thought out vegan selection of RW items. The space also has a very apparent queer energy, which was super nice since both me and my date are part of the rainbow mafia chile! Our waitress was Kelly. 10 out of 10 vibes. PAY KELLY MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Overall an incredible experience to eat 5 delectable courses for $59. I will be back and QUICK.

What a fantastic experience. We will be back and with many more people. Chef Chris is outstanding in his table-side manner, sharing, humble demeanor, culinary skill and his balanced recommendations. Our server Kevin was a true professional; super knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and hustling. The food was delicious, unique and well though out. French onion bread appetizer is special, as are the artichokes and foccasia bread (and I don’t love artichokes). Amazing rigatoni. We would go back for the desserts as well. Olive oil cake is spectacular and so different, and definitely go for the bread-pudding. We will be telling our foodie friends! Great vibe, not pretentious, lively, welcoming with some seriously great food and outstanding cocktails.

I had been here once before a few years back during Restaurant Week, which was great, so I was excited to try it again. Last time, I had sat inside and it had an intimate lounge/upscale bar atmosphere. Really cool interior. But this time, it was a beautiful Friday evening, so the outside patio was the preferred vibe. I wish I remembered the server's name because he was wonderful and welcoming. Service still felt professional on the patio. The cocktails were delicious and the perfect way to kick things off. The food was coursed out well and very much hit/exceeded expectations. The lineup was focaccia, grilled artichokes (the best grilled artichokes I've ever had), ricotta gnocchi (also incredible and seemed like a favorite as many other tables had ordered it too), the Mediterranean sea bass, and the goat's milk cheesecake for dessert. Overall, would definitely go back. A very enjoyable experience at a bit of a hidden local gem tucked away just off of Southport.

We came here for the 20 wines for $20 event and we LOVED it! The whole space was completely open with some tables set around. It was a very casual/chill vibe where you make your own journey through the wine tastings. The bartenders were very knowledgeable and they make sure you get your moneys worth. We started with bubbles and ended with dessert wines. At the end, we went back to grabbing one last glass of our favorite wine. During the event we were able to order food. The charcuterie board was a perfect little snack to our wine - if snacks are not your vibe, there are options for more solid food. Cozy, intimate, and delicious! Got the pleasure of going to Ella Elli during restaurant week brunch with some friends. We arrived and though we did not have a table at our reserved time we still were given water and an offer of drinks at the bar while we waiting a few minutes. It is a smaller spot so I would say a wait time is to be expected. All the food we got was delicious with no complaint even out of my pickier friends. Service was great as well with the server checking up on us frequently. We shared some of the food and I personally preferred the dish I got, the Eggs Benedict, over the other meals I sampled. Would come back

Absolutely in love with this place! The olive oil martini is the best thing ever and the food was fantastic. The service was very good and the interior is so chic and clean. I will definitely be coming back!

A big shout out to Ella Elli and their Christopher St. James who helped my wife and I have a memorable meal here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It happened to be a special five course meal featuring South America. The food, service and ambiance were fantastic! Many thanks!!

Went to Ella Ellie for the first time, and it was a great experience. They provided great hospitality from the moment we stepped up to the door (we were greeted right away whereas many places we often have to wait awhile to even get the hostess). During the meal the staff was very attentive, including our great waiter. The atmosphere is nice for a cozy date, and the food was very good. My favorite was the ricotta gnocchi, but even things as simple as potatoes were good. We were checked on regularly, and we left very satisfied but not overly full, which was good.

Food and ambiance were great. Had two charcuterie boards - one with meat and one with cheese. Both were fantastic. The cheese and olives were very flavorful. The meat was tender and delicious. Also had the brussels sprouts and cauliflower which were fresh and earthy with herbs. Thought they could have used a bit more flavor as the brussels sprouts were slightly bitter. The gnocchi and mushroom toast were the best dishes of the night. Very flavorful and hearty. The seabass was light and well cooked. The server, Leo, was well-versed in both the wine selection and food and was very friendly.

Delicious meal. Our 2nd time here on a date night and the setting is beautiful and relaxing. Certain dishes are larger than others but all are very well prepared. We shared everything starting with the roasted beet salad which was amazing. My favorite of the evening was the lamb rigatoni with juicy olives and fresh rapini. It was also a pretty decent sized plate so we stopped ordering at that point, even though there were so many other options I would have loved to try. Another time.

Everything was absolutely amazing. Came in for restaurant week with a girlfriend and we each choose different item to try as much as possible. Every single dish knocked it out of the park. The space is low lit, intimate and open but not so loud you couldn't hold a conversation. Our server was great and provided customer favorites, my only complaint would be it took her 15 minutes to greet us after being seated. Would absolutely return and recommend!

I think this place is a case where the aesthetic didn't match the food quality for me. I came for restaurant week and there was an amuse bouche and 4 courses. Staff seemed to be running a bit quickly and I felt rushed to place my order and decide. Also note, that this restaurant does charge an additional COB fee of 3%. (With no drink and just restaurant week and 20% tip, it totals about $80) The amuse was a cracker with crème fraîche and I was a bit disappointed bc it was room temperature and lacked flavor which did not amuse me or excite me for the meal to come. For the first course, I got was the crudo and although flavorful it was giving amuse where it could all be in one bite. I would recommend the french onion toast (even though it still seemed to lack a bit more french onion essence). The second course was the brussel sprouts and this one i genuinely enjoyed with the flavor pairings and the egg was a nice touch. The third course was the sea bass and I was not mad at it but the fish didn't seemed seasoned. It was cooked very well but had no flavor and the flavor component rested with the little cooked medley that sat on top of the fish. I also had a couple bites of my friend's short rib and I was surprised that it was tough and dry and the side for it was basically straight butter. Finally for dessert, I had the goat cheese cheesecake. I really liked this because I love goat cheese. I would not get the profiterole as it was not crunch and gave lowkey soggy vibes.

From the lighting, set up, decor, this place is definitely a vibe. Food I would give a solid 8/10; pretty much enjoyed everything I ordered. The kanpachi crudo, bucatini, and ricotta gnocchi were some of my favorites. Cocktails were on the stronger side/more alcohol forward. Service was good and food was paced out well. The $59 restaurant week menu is a really great deal for what you get here. I was already full after the second course. Definitely coming back another time to try out other things.

Our friend's organization booked a private event at Ella Elli. It was amazing! I can wait to come back to try more of their menu. I would definitely host an event here.

I love this spot. I went here on a date night in the early evening and it was lovely. The staff were helpful and efficient, and we loved the food so much. The ambiance is so fun and this is such a great happy hour and date night spot. Can't wait to come back!

This place was absolutely gorgeous! The interior is decorated so lovely. We did the 20 wine tasting and it's only $20! A great way to find new wines and champagnes. They have them for sale after too. The connoisseurs were very knowledgeable and it was so much fun!

I came here awhile ago and wasn't impressed, but decided to give it another go recently and unfortunately nothing has changed my mind. The food is shockingly mediocre despite the presentation and when considering the high prices I just can't recommend. I've tried a variety of things across the menu including drinks and there's just something missing in literally every single item. The flavors just aren't there. Everything *looks* lovely, but they lack substance and flavor. The interiors are nice and feel particularly cozy during a cold winter night. The service was ok--a little slow and not quite competent in providing recommendations outside generic "this item tastes good" and "this is a classic dish". I expect more from a higher end place like this.

Delicious food and a cool atmosphere! Went with a friend and we shared several dishes including the ricotta gnocchi, focaccia, Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, and grilled artichokes. It was a lot of food but we managed to finish most of it because it was delicious! We especially enjoyed the grilled artichokes and the gnocchi. Both had incredible texture and flavor. Would love to go back to try more!

I absolutely love Ella Elli. This restaurant is the perfect amount of sophisticated and a great place for an intimate date night or gal pal night with a few close friends. The decor here is absolutely stunning and I highly recommend getting a table by the windows to get the full view. The staff is friendly and attentive while providing great service. We ordered something that isn't on their menu (goat cheese and apricot served with in house baked focaccia bread) and it was AMAZING. The chef came out to get our opinion on what we thought of it and it really shows how much they value their products and their customers take on it. To drink I had the rosemary gimlet and goodness it is heavenly. Floral with a hint of Rosemary, it pairs perfectly. I also had a latte during dessert and I was surprised how great and smooth it was. Everything I've had the 2 times I've been here has been 5 stars for me. Along with the goat cheese and apricot spread we also got the crispy brussel sprouts with an over easy egg. This was very tasty. Next we got the sea bass and wow is it heavenly. Fresh, delightful and cooked perfectly. For dessert we had the goat cheese cheesecake and ugh! I just can't get enough of this place and everything about it. Cheesecake was absolutely delicious. I'm already obsessing about coming back! Thanks for a great dinner!

Super cute spot with nice decor and ambient lighting! I actually got one of their mock tails and it was so delicious (more so than my friends actual cocktails haha) honestly I think my favorite was one of the starters we got, the heirloom carrots. The carrots were served cold and were marinated but overall it was a cool refreshing bite with a hint of spice. The pastas were delicious as well, with the sauces being creamy and flavorful all around. Our server was so nice and explained to us the portion sizes and what a good number of dishes would be to share

Ella Elli is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The food and service is always impeccable and the ambiance cannot be beat. On Saturday I attended the Taylor Swift brunch and it was a wonderful experience. The menu was creatively put together with custom on theme cocktails and brunch options. Ella Elli took it one step further and had friendship bracelets for each guest. I had the "steak it off" which consisted of steak, eggs and potatoes. It was delicious and the steak was perfectly cooked. Ella always delivers on a theme dinner between the it's the monthly wine dinners or pop up brunches - the Taylor Swift brunch did not disappoint!

I am still thinking about this 45-minute egg dish from Ella Elli's T swift brunch. If you haven't made it Ella yet you are missing out. Great food even better cocktails, 10/10 would highly recommend!

Mixed feelings, leaning positive, but something was missing a bit for me. Overall a nice time, but a few points I'll make below that took it down to a 4/5 instead of a 5. As always, I review based on expectations and relative to this type of restaurant. The atmosphere is great. The bar area is swanky, and most of the seating are these big cozy booths. We loved that part, and made the experience special. Service - goes both ways here. Our server was super friendly, gave good suggestions, flexible with timing, etc. However, it was just kind of slow. It took 10 min to get our wine after ordering. And the food timing was off. There were two periods when we had finished the dish and waiting slightly longer than ideal, for the next dish to come out. *Also it wasn't busy, we maybe 40% full. So waiting times for food and drink were a strike. Food: 1. Bread was solid. We had the mussels come out first with it so that we could dip. I'd suggest doing this, as the mussel sauce was delicous. 2. Mussels themselves were a level up from "good". The sauce had a cool south-American twist, and they were all cooked perfectly (as opposed to finding some bad ones). 3. Roasted Artichoke: i was excited about these, and the flavor was there, but they were not soft and appealing to eat, almost too chewy. Wouldn't order again. 4. Gnocchi - loved it, favorite dish. Perfect sauce, and they were juicey/tender bites. 5. Chicken - good but too spicy. The flavor was nice, but it was also just kind of plain. Still good, but nothing to write home about. 6. Cauliflower - nice dish, nothing special, but glad we got it to nibble on the side. The restaurant is nice for any date night, drinks at the bar, and even bringing family. It just was somewhat forgettable of an experience, especially for a higher price-tag.

We treated ourselves to this delightful spot in Wrigleyville for our monthiversary. The bar had single occupancy seats and a two seater for the couples of larger parties. We were served by Leo and he provides us with a detailed breakdown of the menu. The food was exceptional, with the highlights being the Beef Tartar and the Ricotta Gnocchi. A must go to spot if you're in the area!

Very nice neighborhood restaurant serving small plates in a modern intimate setting. While better for a date night or for a couples outing, it works for larger groups as well. The menu is pretty limited but that is just fine because they cooked everything extremely well. Each dish was flavorful and visually appealing. For "small plates", the portions were very adequate and everyone left full. Our service was a bit slow but nothing to fuss about; however, it could have been more efficient. While the food menu being limited, the limited bar offerings was disappointing. A nice wine selection, but spirits and beers had rather small options (one gin. one - I have more than that in my home). Overall, a great evening out and very nice dining experience.

FYI: There is no Happy Hour from 3 to 5 on Saturday despite what their website says. They are well-aware of the misinformation, but for reasons known only to them, the information remains on the website. And the staff is pretty obnoxious about it.

This place was so fantastic! We came here for date night at 5pm on a Friday night (the only time we could get a reservation just a couple days in advance). First the ambiance/decor was so nice! Next the waitress was very helpful navigating the menu with my dietary restrictions (I am pregnant). Finally -- and of course most importantly -- the food was amazing. We got the French onion toast to start, followed by gnocchi and the Brussels sprouts and the scallops. The Brussels were a bit disappointing but everything else was so good. I especially loved the gnocchi! Also everything was pretty heavy so be prepared to be very full with no room for dessert! My husband also got a beer and I got a mocktail. Everything was very reasonable, coming to just around $100 before tip.

What a beautiful place! The food was incredible, or should I said it's been incredible because I'm writing this review wile I'm here eating and drinking. LEO (Our server) has been AMAZING!! (He's also the bartender!!) We are visiting from Los Angeles and this place feels like home. The food it's been yummy. The wine glasses and cocktails were incredible and the restaurant atmosphere was great! I definitely recommend this place for a date, hanging place with friends, or to hang alone at the bar with the amazing Leo.!!

Love this place. It was my first time. The restaurant felt elegant but comfortable. The staff was incredibly nice. We started out with some really great mocktails. I had a creamy mushroom toast appetizer, grilled artichokes with a lemon aioli, and scallops with squash, bacon and hazelnuts. All presented beautifully and really delicious. The profiteroles for dessert were fantastic. I will definitely be coming back here.

Nothing has changed. The food, ambiance and service are still perfection!!! Our server was amazing, I wish I could remember his name so I can request him for my next visit. He did a great job of mentioning some highlights on the menu, was super attentive and you could tell he was genuinely friendly. The highlight this visit was the French Onion Toast....dip it in the soup, was amazing! Love me an Ella Elli visit!

Cozy vibes and attentive service. You can make a reservation, and I highly recommend one! We got lucky and got seated at the loveseat at the bar. They have a great list of cocktails and healthy appetizers. I will be back.

Surprisingly VERY VERY good. One of only two restaurants on Southport and Roscoe that are actually worth it. This and Coda the Italian place. Staff are very friendly and kind, which means a lot!

To date, I have been to Ella Elli three times and I have never been let down. Italian tapas -- who could have thought?! This place is perfect for an intimate date night with your partner or for a girls night out. I would say this place probably isn't the atmosphere to bring your kids. The first time our waitress was amazing. She spaced out the dishes perfectly. The second and third visit the dishes were less well spaced out, but nothing to complain about. Along with everything pictured, the gnocci is fabulous! Some of the best gnocci I have ever had.

Overall- I would rate my experience at Ella Ella a solid 8.5/10. I would highly recommend this for a nice date spot, or a spot to cozy up at the bar and grab drinks when doing some shopping on southport. I was impressed with the ambience and service, and the food was also very delicious. WHAT WE ORDERED: I included photos of what we ordered so I won't go through things one by one, but some highlights were definitely the Crispy Brussel Sprouts, the Scallops, and the Ricotta Gnocchi. All of those were perfectly cooked and had a variety of flavors that all worked together wonderfully. Some things we would skip next time would definitely be the Confit Potatoes and the Tuna Crudo. You get about 1 bite of tuna in the crudo, and the flavor was overall lacking. It wasn't for us. We also agreed that the potatoes weren't anything special- they also came out last which might of hindered our experience as it's odd that a side vegetable was the last thing to come out. HOW MUCH WE ORDERED: We ordered 9 dishes and there was 4 of us and we still had room for dessert after. The portions were small, which we expected, but we felt that they were priced reasonably for what you were getting (bar the Tuna Crudo) I would recommend around 2 dishes per person to ensure an adequate amount of food. SERVICE: Our server was wonderful! I didn't catch his name but he was knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our annoying questions about wines and cocktails. Overall- I was very pleased with the service. FINAL THOUGHTS: Final thoughts- this place was cozy, beautifully decorated, and a great oasis from bustling Southport. Definitely worth checking out!

Went here for restaurant week and I can pleasantly say that I was surprised how good everything was. Let me first say, the ambience of the restaurant was superb. From booths to love seats, to couches and tables. It was all very comfy and intimate. We chose to sit at the bar in a love seat. Comfy as if we were in a private booth, but also gave as easy access to chat with our neighbors at the bar. Service was great. Bartender was attentive and provided clean plates with each course (we didn't really need) but it was nice for him to offer. Food was 4.5 out of 5 for me. Beef tartare and the Brussels sprouts were my fav. The mushroom toast and both desserts were delicious! The rigatoni was good but a bit spicy and a tad heavier than the other items but it was still great! We were slightly disappointed with the burger. We saw people raving over it but it had too much horseradish for our liking personally. If they have a rotating menu, I would definitely come back. I think the chef did a great job with his presentation of the dishes.

I really wanted to love this place, it came so highly recommended. Sadly it just wasn't my night. To start I ordered the oysters which came on bed of salt which made them violently salty and almost painful to eat without first dusting off the excess salt that stuck onto the oysters. Our next course was the confit sunchokes and it was good except it felt like there was sand or dirt in almost every bite. It was a very rough grainy texture through out so I had to spit out a good portion of my meal. The creamy mushroom toast was fine. The crispy Brussel sprouts were ok but were swimming in about a half inch of oil; I tried draining it and switching to another plate but it was not good, just overly greasy and unpleasant. The rigatoni was decent enough. Next I ordered the Mediterranean Sea bass which after waiting for 45 minutes I was told they were out of, and was offered the swordfish which was very dense and chewy. I tasted the burger au poivre and it was barely edible, it was also very salty. For dessert I had the profiterole and that was very underwhelming, I did not enjoy it nor understand the hype. I was frankly very surprised by my experience given how highly recommended it was. I'm not against giving it another shot, but maybe I'll stay clear of the restaurant week menu on a Monday night perhaps.

Great. I'm loving the mushroom gnocchi. I have had this four times. It's my favorite dish on the menu. Very tasty. Lots of good vegetable options. I enjoyed the confit potatoes, a little bit rich and heavy, but good dressings & toppings. Quiet, yet elevated neighborhood spot.

This is by far my favorite restaurant. The service, food and ambiance are all fantastic. I highly suggest making reservations. I still dream about the food I ate here. The only thing I did not like was my beverage. Just not a fan of egg whites in my drink, but that's on me for ordering it. The olives and beets were so good and the entrees were fantastic. Everything came out hot and in a timely manner.

Had dinner at Ella Elli last weekend and just forgot to finish this up. We went here with a big group of friends and overall it was a decent time. As vegetarians, they did have quite a few appetizer options and I think we ended up trying many of them. A number of them were decent. We had the focaccia, the mushroom toast, and French onion toast. We also had the brussel sprouts, and so forth. I think the one friend that took charge didn't know what she was doing and just ordered everything with bread. It was fine. It's difficult to coordinate things well when there's a group. So anyway, in the mains, there was really only margarita pizza, so I got that and shared around a bit. This was probably a bit of a step down, even from the apps. Some of the items other people ordered looked pretty good, but hey, that's what we had. Overall good service, though for the price, I would expect no less. Overall, fun evening.

I was very impressed! First time here. Dinner with husband on Friday, 12/16/2022 at 8:30PM. Decor/ambiance = A Cleanliness (including bathroom) = A+ Service = A Food = A Drink (rosemary giblet) = A- Will definitely come back! Upon our 8:15PM entry, we were greeted by two hostesses. Our tables were not ready yet, but we were instructed to sit on the couch by the fireplace. We were served water while we were on the couch. Nice touch. Our table is ready within a few minutes. Our waitress was super friendly, and her timing was impeccable. We told her from the very beginning that we knew what we wanted. She came by the table at appropriate times to check on us throughout the meal. We ordered: Drink: rosemary giblet Appetizer: garlic pita with hummus, tabuleh, and labneh Mains: ricotta gnocchi, Moroccan shelfish stew Dessert: profiteroles All dishes were DELICIOUS! I wish the portions were bigger (twice the size of the portions given would have been perfect). Only the dessert was a perfect size portions-wise. Drink was delicious, too! The alcohol was a bit weak but delicious nonetheless. The biggest surprise I had was the service. I expected the place to have snotty staff but our waitress was super nice. We will definitely go back! We hope to dine with friends next time.

Very delicious meal! Small plates- gnocchi, beets, Brussel sprouts and onion bread. All great but I don't need the beats again. I'm the other things? I could def eat those again !!

This is a great date night spot. We ended up getting seated by the bar. The food was great and the bartender was very helpful with recommendations. We ended the night with espresso martinis and loved it! Definitely recommend

I came here for brunch with my cousin and her family. Picture an idyllic bistro with ambiance and charm. The charcuterie plate was savored by all of us. I've ordered the Shakshouka at their sister location; so my choice was that and the signature Easter cocktail. The guys at the table enjoyed the entree with eggs, confit potatoes and slabs of bacon. Overall it was a nice brunch with the fam on a beautiful day in Chicago!

Food is solid. Not the absolute best I've had but solid. The reason this place is the bomb is the combination of food and atmosphere though. And the uniqueness of the treatment of some of the dishes. The beef tartare served with the tendon crisps was something else. Artichokes were also fabulous as were the olives. Pasta was good not great.

Amazing food, beautiful setting, warm ambiance. I was recommend this restaurant by a friend and it did not disappoint! I came here for a friend's birthday dinner and we all ordered plates to share. Everything was incredible but there are a few must-try's in my option and one of them is the mushroom toast. PLEASE GET THE MUSHROOM TOAST. If you love mushrooms and a creamy sauce, you can't skip this as a starter. Other honorable mentions include the crispy Brussels sprouts, ricotta gnocchi, Mediterranean sea bass, scallops, and profiteroles for dessert. We all loved all of the above mentioned dishes and ordered two desserts to share which included profiteroles and goats milk cheesecake however, for those of you who do not like the strong and pungent taste of goats milk, I would skip the cheesecake as it may seem like a bit much. I had a bite and enjoyed it but not as much as the profiterole. Service was great, very attentive but not overbearing. All in all this was an excellent dinner and I am definitely looking forward to coming back.

The weekend wine tasting 20 for $20 was a fantastic deal and a great weekend activity!

Really enjoyed our dinner and drinks sitting at the "loveseat" style bar seats. It's a unique seating style that I had never seen before, but it certainly worked just fine for my wife and me. Most of the dishes seem to be on the smaller side, but the pizza was substantial if you are looking to get a little more bang for your buck. The cherry agrodolce was a sweet and savory appetizer that we enjoyed. The sweet corn agnolotti was DELICIOUS, but definitely a small dish. This isn't a typical Italian restaurant where you get a heaping pile of pasta. I'm taking off a star for execution on the pizza. It was somewhat hastily made, and the ingredients did not spread anywhere near the edges of the pizza so you were left with a lot of plain dough.

I like this place. I walked out three years ago because of subpar service. But my GF and I rediscovered it this summer. We especially enjoy the outdoor seating. I had a conversation with a couple long time employees about my previous experience and they validated my sentiments, adding things have turned 180 in the last couple years. So, if you haven't given them a chance lately: it may be time to. Excellent cocktails, great service and a nice (though somewhat narrow menu).

I love everything about this place! The ambiance is classy and chill, the food is amazing, and the staff is super friendly.
