We came for brunch on a frigid Saturday. Google told us there were no reservations, so we made them on Open Table. We were literally the only people in the whole restaurant... and still the service was slow. But it was worth the wait! The pancakes were delicious and the mocktail was fabulous. And the views!! I would go back again. It's probably extra lovely in the summer.

My mother and I made a last-minute reservations here before catching a show. This place was incredible. All the staff were so incredibly friendly to us and made sure we had the best time. And we did!! Stunning view, incredible vibe, fun, and delicious - our experience here was the cherry on top of our trip to NYC.

I had such a great time at Bamboleo Brunch at Elsie Rooftop! The live Gipsy Kings–inspired music set the perfect vibe, and the views were absolutely stunning. I ordered the lemon meringue pancakes and the croque madame—both were delicious. Paired with 90 minutes of bottomless mimosas, it made for the perfect brunch experience. Highly recommend for a fun, lively weekend!

Amazing vibes. Went on a Friday they had a salsa event. Not very good at salsa, but we tried and it was so fun. Service was a 10, staff was very kind and entertaining. There was a cute video booth near the restrooms. Great place would recommend has a chill area if you want to sit and take it slow, and inside is more social and enticing.

Food was great although portions were small. Drinks were awesome and strong. Staff was attentive and nice. We were a party of 4 ladies and had an absolute blast during Sunday's Moroccan Nights. Definitely a great interactive night full of dancing.

Elsie Rooftop is gorgeous with an amazing ambiance. The staff is friendly and attentive, the drinks are on point, and the overall experience feels elevated without being pretentious.The food is delicious and makes it a perfect spot for entertaining. One of my favorite rooftop spots. I’ll definitely return.

Service was very friendly and attentive at the beginning of our brunch on Sunday, December 28th, at our 12:30 p.m. reservation, and we were polite and appreciative throughout. However, once another group arrived, both our server and the bartender largely stopped engaging with our table. Complimentary shots were offered to the other group while our table was overlooked, and it became difficult to get assistance when we were ready to pay and leave. We were using a Pulse deal and made staff aware multiple times. I emailed the restaurant in advance to notify them of the Pulse deal since the phone is never answered. We also mentioned it at the front with the hostess and again directly to our server. When the bill was presented, the total was approximately $82.75. At that point, I reminded the server that we were using a Pulse deal, and she appeared surprised and said we should have mentioned it beforehand. The Pulse deal documentation reflected a value of $140, which caused confusion, and when the deal was finally applied, a manager had to closely review it, which felt uncomfortable. This brunch was especially disappointing because I was there with my mother on her last day in the city, and we had really been looking forward to it. Unfortunately, the inconsistency in service and the handling of the bill took away from what should have been a special final meal.

Was there for superbowl Sunday had 2 tickets for me and a friend also had the ticket for table of 6 first thing that was bad the 2 early tickets said 4pm to end of game didnt even get upstairs until 5pm mind you I was the first in line then when upstairs the lady manger can't remember her name was completely lost she had no clue of anything was trying to explain to her the tickets that I had and was trying to get a decent table table I tried to chose supposedly was rented for 1000 dollars which I find hard to believe cause it was not on their website which I brought the tickets a month before anyway got a small table with small seats in front of the projector screen for the game now when game started was supposed to have buffet platter brought to us never happened now also had another friend who also had a table reserved only to be brought out around 730 with chairs basically a table you have at a barbecue basically they was not prepared for this kind of event and when the owner reads this they will know who this is writing when he ask the manager that day 😀 but the one five star person is Julian the bartender he was top of line perfect butoverall in my opinion as far as the event and atmosphere completely terrible literally were not organized

Little pricey on the cocktail drinks, but the rooftop is quite nice! The apps were also excellent-- big fan of the salmon tartare! Wonderfully nice service who took a free photo of us! Cheers!

one word. sad. truly the most disappointing rooftop/place in general. drinks were watered down, no alcohol whatsoever. i get asian glow w a few sips of a drink and nothing. and for $20+ i am expecting a heavyyyyy drink. we had to wave down anybody to take our order or get the check or refill water. theres only 2 girls working and then one hostess and food runners/bussers. the audacity to ask for 18% tip after that was silly. the place wasn't even busy there were 5 other tables maybe? the food... ONE belgium waffle not even 2 we thought it came with two because usually waffles come in pairs but we were bamboozled. the avocado toast was fine, tiny pieces of cheap wheat bread w some avo on top, mediocre bc i can and will make this at home. salmon bagel platter was fine. $23 for a lox bagel is crazy. hugeeeeeee disappointment dont waste ur time

And they were all very refreshing. The staff was nice, we got there on a Friday around 6pm and was able to snag a table (not crowded at all) and super cute! My only callouts is the cocktails are pricey (~$20 a drink which is normal for NYC rooftops) but as a lightweight I barely felt a buzz tasty but not strong. It's a beautiful spot to hang with friends but if you're looking to get buzzed, the cocktails might not be the route to go. We didn't get to try any of the other drink offerings so definitely check out for yourself!

I visited Elsie's with a group of friends on a beautiful, sunny Saturday for brunch. While we were a bit disappointed by the limited food options, we all found something to eat. One friend had the Huevos Rancheros, which she said was just alright. Another had the Impossible Burger, which she didn't like at all. One friend ordered the Belgian waffles and, despite only receiving a single waffle, found it to be really good. I had the truffle grilled cheese, which was superb--I was shocked by how delicious it was. The drinks were excellent, and the ambiance was beautiful. A rooftop on a sunny New York day is hard to beat. However, the service could have been better, as our server disappeared for long periods throughout the meal. Overall, I'm giving it 4 stars because the food isn't the main attraction here, but the atmosphere and drinks make it worth a visit.

Yesterday was the warmest day in NYC in 2024 so far, so it was time for a rooftop moment! My friend and I walked in without a reservation. They have bar seating and some lounge seating, as well as outdoor bench-type seating for walk-ins. The bartender was so friendly and welcoming! I ordered the Victorian cocktail. It was perfection! You couldn't even taste the alcohol (and I saw him put a good amount in)! The passion fruit flavor was so refreshing and it is a perfect spring/summer cocktail! My friend had the sunset and not only was it pretty, but it was delicious as well! I would definitely come back here as rooftop season continues. The cocktails are definitely pricey ($19), but the vibes are there!

Beautiful bar! Loved the decor, beautiful views of the city, great music and drinks. The service was a little slow, but not too bad.

I'd like to go for brunch but every time I go it's late night drinks after something else didn't work out.. and I don't really have friends or "do brunch" anyway lol Different vibes at different times, decent drinks, expensive as you'd assume.

We went to Elsie Rooftop for a Bottomless Brunch. Once we entered the building, we went down a long, super clean, shiny white hallway. A staff let us into an elevator, and used his key card to take the elevator to the rooftop. The restaurant was much smaller than I thought it would be, but more cozy and the interior was super modern. We had a reservation for when they first opened up for the day, so it was still empty. Then we were brought to "outdoor" seating space which was in the back. The outdoor seating area was completely covered, and it was so pretty! With it being all covered, this space can be open for dining all-season. But, since the weather was super nice, they opened up the side window/door, so we could also step outside to the actual terrace space as well. Awesome! The Bottomless Drinks are for 90-min, we were told that we can choose any Sangria from their four sangria options. And of course we tried them all... I tell you, they were really tasty!!! Not water down or anything, really flavorful, fruity, and refreshing. Mimosa and Peach Rosé Sangria were our favorite! Although, my husband really enjoyed the Red Room Sangria, the more basic style of sangria. For food, we decided to get a different dish among the four of us. We ordered Shakshuka, Croque Madame, Cheese Toast, and Sliders. They were all quite tasty, much better than I expected. We had a super fun Bottomless Brunch here. The drinks were flavorful and strong (but not too strong), and the food were all great too. The service was good, we were never rushed, but didn't feel neglected at all. Whenever we got attention of our server, she came over immediately. It was relaxing and enjoyable. It is a great place to hang out with friends and family as we have, we would definitely go back again for more!

Brunch, Sangria, and City skyline views! Rooftops are the go-to spots to enjoy the city and see what makes New York a marvel, but not all rooftop dining and drinking experiences are created equal. Elsie Rooftop delivers on all fronts a memorable experience. Location: Entering into a long corridor toward a well-dressed security staff gives the feeling of having access to a unique place. When you take the elevator, don't forget to take a selfie in that mirrored elevator. As you get off the elevator, this building is very narrow, so walk towards the host, who will direct you where to sit. We arrived soon after they opened, so we had a table in the exterior rooftop area with a bottomless brunch selection. The space was gorgeous, and we got to walk all around and enjoy the room with the view. Food and drinks: We had the two-hour bottomless brunch, so we were a group of four to have a carafe of sangria or an individual glass, so we tried to mix and match different flavors. Here are some of the flavors for the brunch drinks: Peach Rose Sangria (Bodvar Rose Wine, Creme de Peche, white peach puree), Red Room Sangria (Diora Pinto Noir, Bulleit Bourbon, Hennessy VSOP, orange, pomegranate, honey), Margarita Sangria (Baron Herzog Sauvignon Blanc, Codigo 1530 Blanco, agave, pineapple, lime), and Mimosa Sangria (Paul de Coste Blanc de Blanc Brut, Chambord, orange, pineapple). For the food, we had the slider burgers (Cheddar cheese, secret sauce, caramelized onion with tomato and lettuce) and the Truffled Grilled Cheese and other items too. Service: Across the board, fast and polite service throughout the meal. I like how we were able to relax and were able to enjoy our stay. Again, all rooftops are not equal, but Elsie knows how to do it. Thank you.

Cute place for tourists to visit with a view. We didn't eat, however the food being served looked good. Drinks were tasty and music was good.

My friends and I came Saturday night without reservations . They have bar seating and some tables. There is an outdoor area outside for walk-ins. I think for the summer time, I'd prefer the idea of ordering at the bare and then just hanging in the outdoor area. We ended up sitting in this glass atrium-style room and our server jasmine was nice. We ordered a pitcher of sangria to share and some guac. Perfect spot for a nightcap. Not too many young people disturbing the peace, so it was a peaceful experience for us. I would come back here with friends, but consider making a reservation beforehand because they did get busy after 10pm and when we went to take pictures on the balcony there was a full on rager back there with a DJ and everything ! We didn't realize the bar was that big

Needed something for a drink and quick bite in exactly this location on a weeknight before a Broadway show - and i would recommend it for that purpose. Would just manage the time as the service got a bit slower as it got busier - but everyone working was happy to help and friendly. The drink options were fairly standard, but nicely made and presented. Enjoyed the red pepper hummus appetizer, but the margarita flatbread was too flat (could have used some salt, garlic), but the texture was good. It's a really pretty space and I imagine even nicer when it's warm and open-air. I get the feeling it might pick up a clubbier vibe late night or on the weekends, and I personally wouldn't pick it for that. The entrance is a bit hard to find - looks like an office building, revolving door off Broadway btw 39th and 40th, and you take an elevator up from the lobby.

This fabulous rooftop is amazing! The cocktails are perfectly mixed and pack a nice punch. I sat at the bar and found the ambiance real chill and had music at the perfect volume. It is definitely larger than most NYC rooftops, as there is space outdoors and even more inside. For a 90 degree day, the extensive indoor seating with AC was absolutely perfect. The service was great and I would absolutely return!

Great spot for a large brunch, we used a Pulsd deal for a larger group and the staff was very accommodating and understanding of reservation changes and space. The rooftop has great views and the food was solid. Drinks were alright but the brunch best for the view and company.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, got a table in the covered rooftop portion. Drinks are around low $20 and we ordered chips and guac. Expect small portions. The rooftop was closed so didn't see much of a view, but there were belly dancers during our visit which was a nice touch of entertainment

I highly recommend here. Went here last Saturday after doing a boozy brunch and I'm glad I stopped by. I recall seeing this place online so I said let's give it a try. My friend and I loved the dimly lit sexy interior. The DJ definitely was playing all the jams. They made delicious well crafted cocktails. The service was on point . Came for brunch and definitely do not recommend. No espresso drinks available and took forever to get drip coffee served in a tiny espresso cup. Poor service. Food was ok but not great. Seems like it could be a cool place for drinks.

Came for after work drinks. Make a reservation. It's packed. Super nice inside. Good playlist, good vibes. It's expensive but that's expected at places like this. Food is okay but that's not why you come here. You come for cocktails, ambiance, and views. That said, my friends and I shared the guacamole and the hummus. Both were pretty big portions and were fine. I had an aperol spritz and it was good but that's a drink that's hard to mess up. Cute place during warm months!

A friend was visiting from out of town. I wanted to take her to a rooftop bar experience because that seemed pretty quintessential thing to do in New York City. We found this place from a list online and decided to try it out. EXPERIENCE We came here with a reservation for two on a Sunday night. They seated us in a kind of awkward back area where there were not other people. Apparently a party had reserved a majority of the the space for their party, so we did not even get to see the balcony with the nice view. Frustrating that they did not inform us before hand that the main appeal of going to a rooftop would not be accessible to us. We made a mistake of trying to get dinner here, it was very expensive, and they only had starters, no real dishes. We settled on some food, and got drinks. We stayed until sunset to take a few pics and left.The view itself from what we were able to see was not even that impressive. To see the Empire State building, you had to be at the perfect angle. FOOD (4/5) Black Angus Beef Sliders (Fontina cheese, arugula, plum tomato) - I do not think these were special, but they tasted as expected. (3/5) Guacamole Tradicional (Avocado, jalapenos, cilantro, lime and organic corn tortilla chips) - There was a good quantity of guac. We were able to ask for more chips, and they provided it without and additional charge. I was not fond of the price though, it seemed like too much for such a simple dish. DRINK (4/5) The Sunset (Empress 1908 gin, strawberry, lemon, sugar, soda) - This drink was very light in terms of alcohol. The drink was very sweet, almost like a strawberry lemonade flavor. I could not taste the gin, and I did not feel anything after, even though I consider myself a light weight. (5/5) Earl Grey Old Fashion (Bulleit Rye, Earl-Grey Tea-infused, Bitters) - This drink is quite strong! The flavor was good overall, not too bitter. Not really sure if I could taste the earl grey though. OVERALL The experience was quite disappointing. My guest did not seem very impressed, and I was unamused during the entire time we stayed. Perhaps you will have better luck as there will be no event reserving a majority of the bar. Do not try to get a meal here, maybe a snack to combat the affects of the alcohol. The drinks were also quite expensive, and did not seem that special or particularly strong. The views were mediocre from what we were able to access. I think there's much better rooftops out there. This was not the one. I would not return, and I would not recommend.

This place has horrible service. The workers do not look like they even want to be there. We had to ask them for water and napkins after waiting 15 minutes for someone to take our order. They originally sat us at a table with 4 seats even though it was a reservation for 5 people. Worst of all, they charged us for an item that we did not order. I kept calling them to fix the charge that night, the day after, but no one picks up the phone. Finally someone answered 2 days later and she said there's nothing they can do besides offer a credit for next time. I needed a refund for that item, not a credit. And I will never be returning to this restaurant. Food and drinks were mediocre at best. Decor was not as great as advertised on TikTok. Save your money and go to a better rooftop restaurant in the city like Magic Hour or 230 Fifth.

Overall I thought Elsie's rooftop was a good happy hour place with a nice bar. The atmosphere: was a cool modern bar. What makes it is the rooftop, but they have limited views of the skyline. The staff: were all friendly however I'd say service at the table was slow. The food: tasted quite good, but portions were on the small side.

Such a bummer, but glad that we tried so now we know. Got to reservation, table wasn't ready, terrible music blaring so loud that it shook our chest w the bass at 730pm, and a mediocre view. A server never came to our table, so after 25 minutes of waiting, we left. Weirdly enough bussers kept filling our water while we sat there without service haha. Cool decorations on inside though. Maybe could be good if they hired more servers and turned the music down.

I'm so conflicted with my opinions on Elsie. My first time visiting I had a great time with two friends. The view was great, as were the drinks. The service was good to go too! The venue is also beautiful and expansive. However, I purchased a package for their "Moroccan Nights" for a subsequent Sunday night visit and that was an absolute mess. I followed the instructions on my paperwork, to the letter. I followed up with emails to the venue's representative and they responded to confirm things. I thought everything would go well but that was not the case. I arrived 15 minutes early and notified an Individual I thought was the host. They asked me to have a seat and wait, which I had no problem with since I was still waiting on some of the members of my party (a group of six). My party arrived in good spirits and we spent time catching up with each other as an hour elapsed! No one came back to check on us. Seeing no host/hostess at the podium I decided to ask for assistance at the bar. The bar tender referred me to a gentleman that presented as the bar manager. He apologized and offered complimentary drinks at the bar (that never happened). He disappears and then I search for someone else with authority. An hour and a half has elapsed. I found a female manager(?) she asks for another "moment" to find us a seat. I observe her asking a waitress to clear a table for us. That waitress swears under her breath and gives us a table, saying "You should grab this quickly because it's going to be a mess." My group which includes individuals from out of the country are flabbergasted. The bar manager reappears and asks for a 2nd waitress to assist us (to her chagrin). She graciously assists us but I could tell she was not moving with urgency. I don't think our table was in her area of coverage but the first waitress had left for the night (She probably ran for her life). I could continue to pile on here but I think I've written enough for you to get the picture. The only thing that saved the night were these amazing, stunning belly dancers and their DJ. None of that is credit to the venue. Bottom Line: If you're just going for a drink on a summer afternoon, with just one other person, you'll probably be fine. If you're going with a group or for a special event (even if it's their event), you're probably in deep trouble. There is no coordination between the staff and handoffs are almost comical.

I did not get a chance to eat food here, be serviced here or know the ambiance, as they cancelled my bridal shower one day before arrival and I flew in from Dallas and have a guest list of over 20 people meeting me here that I have not seen in over 10 years. This was so disappointing as my group now has to find a place to host a large group. The restaurant said they have another group that booked the whole place yesterday, last minute. Now I have to figure it out after marketing has been done advertising this place. What an unprofessional disappointment and upset.

Couldn't get in. Doors were closed. Door bell got no answer. Didn't answer the phone. It was 2 AM but they're open till 4 so ??? Maybe it was slow so they closed early? It's a Friday night though....

I would give this place a 0 if I had to because the guy in the ground floor was extremely rude. He had glasses on and approached me among my group to tell me that I didn't meet "dress code" because I was wearing "sweatpants." Mind you, my pants were not even sweatpants because they were breathable dark-colored pants. I didn't appreciate how he called me out and did not provide further explanation when I could obviously see other patrons walking in who had more "questionable" attires than me! Please fix your attitude if you want people to have a good time. #neveragain

I had a wonderful experience here coming from Los Angeles The rooftop is a beautiful location. The price is so reasonable considering where it is located and how it looks The food is delicious and my sangria tastes great. The thai chicken kabob is chewy enough for my taste which goes well with the peanut sauce.

Great ambiance, brunch food, drinks, and location, but poor management and service. Our server had to come back three times every time we ordered something and while we had a Puls'd voucher and emailed the restaurant in advanced, the manager claimed I was "misinterpreting" it. Puls'd luckily reimbursed me immediately as this was unacceptable. I've heard other friends had better experiences so I may come back for a drink.

Not sure about the hyper here?! 1) The drinks are overpriced and water down. 2) The service was lackluster. 3) the view, well it depends on where you are sitting at...we didn't see much at all. But it is an interesting place for group gatherings that isn't overly crowded. Nonetheless, given there are so many rooftop bars in the area (i.e., Dear Irving on Hudson), I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you are looking for a mediocre experience. P.s. The music was the only positive thing here.

We were very pleased with our spontaneous choice for a cocktail/dinner. Just 2 minutes walk from our hotel, a total and welcome surprise. Jasmine greeted us and made sure we had just the right seating. She pointed out the special views from The Edge to the Empire State Building. Our service was excellent; the food fantastic. We had Chicken Skewers and Margarita Flatbread (with pepperoni added) that were delicious. The dipping sauce w the chicken was soooo good. A shot of Don Julio Reposado was the perfect ending to a celebratory evening.

Cool rooftop spot! My friend and I had after-dinner drinks here and enjoyed it. I had the Red Room Sangria and my friend had the Elsie de Wolfe. I was super intrigued to see that they put Hennessy VSOP in their recipe and it made for a super smooth cocktail! It's probably my favorite sangria I've had to date. The Elsie de Wolfe was tasty as well, and it was tart and refreshing. Service was attentive. This spot has views of the famous New Year's Eve Ball. Make sure you reserve ahead!

Food tasted alright, but chicken tasted weird...we thought it was seasoning, but now...my cousin, sister and I got food poisoning from here. No wonder food came out way too quickly...learn to cook chicken all the way, Elsie please, you got three of customers who visited there for first time to experience rooftop but got us soo sick to the point we're living in bathroom all day. Also, we went there at 6PM, but they were already blasting music as if we were in club/ concert to the point everyone who were sitting by speaker was moving away from their spot (everyone was asking to reduce the volume but they ignored request)

Had a meh experience here. I originally had reservations for the Glass Ceiling but due to some mishap, they moved us to Elsie. The drinks were okay and the food was mediocre. We had the flatbread and the grilled cheese to share. For the price point, I thought I could make it better at home. Our server was no where to be seen. She walked by only to take orders that's it. We had to flag someone down just to get water refills - we had asked a few times as well. No one was attentive. My card was misplaced momentarily as well after we payed so it took an extra 10 min for the server to realize it was still in the area where she paid our checks. Based on the service, my friend and I had tipped 10%. It was very unprofessional for the server to get into my friends face asking why we left so little tips and how altogether it didn't add up to 18%. That was rude. Come here if you don't care about food or service, the music however was fun and it felt like good vibes- that's the 2 stars.

Probably not the worst bar I've been to but the reviews with low ratings have a lot of truth. We made a reservation and weren't able to be seated right away. No worries, that's fine. We grabbed a drink at the bar while we waited and initially the bar tender didn't serve us - I think there was some confusion since he asked us if we had a table and when we said we were waiting for one, he decided to serve us. So we noticed there were a lot of empty tables and other parties were coming in to be seated and it didn't seem like they had reservations. I thought the hostess forgot about us so we asked someone else to sit us at an empty table and they sat us down. Why did we have to wait at the bar if there were empty tables and no others waiting? It really felt like we were an inconvenience to the initial hostess. We had a good time but we never once saw the server that we were supposed to order drinks from when sitting at a table. We went to the bar to get more drinks and brought them back ourselves! Totally fine but really frustrating when there's a lack of communication or direction for customers. Are we supposed to order from the bar or the server? Overall, not a bad night. This is a good backup spot since it doesn't seem to be fully packed.. lots of reservations available even on a Saturday night. Wouldn't recommend the food here based on the limited menu and what I saw come out of the kitchen, it doesn't look appetizing.

Loved the vibe. Loved the food! We were there for Sunday brunch. I will definitely return. A wonderfully unique experience. Perfect for a first trip up nyc or for seasoned nyc resident restaurant aficionados.

I found Elsie on Instagram and i was really excited about this place. Unfortunately It looks better on their instagram pictures. Small menu selection but tasty. Drinks were okay. Decent service.

This is one of my favorite rooftops in Manhattan! It is beautiful, but I'm docking one star because the service can be slow as well as the wait to get up. Otherwise, the food and drinks are delicious. There's plenty of seating at Elsie both indoors and outdoors, but I would definitely make a reservation ahead of time. When you arrive downstairs, you check in with the greeter, and then you proceed to the lobby where you wait for an elevator to take you up. The elevators are pretty small so can only comfortably fit maybe 4-6 people. I really love the way Elsie is decorated. When you walk in, it def takes your breath away (okay maybe that's an exaggeration, but it is beautiful). Try to sit outside so that you are facing Broadway (the west side of the building). I've tried the Earl Grey Old Fashioned (didn't taste like Earl Grey but still tasty), and the flatbread / hummus and veggie dish. All were delicious! Would def recommend. The music choice is also great! There's plenty of bathrooms available as well, but the stalls are really small and I don't recall hooks, so just leave your belongings at your table or ask whomever you're with to hold onto them!

Apparently there's a burlesque show on Sunday's which was amazing!!! I would definitely come back and try their food too and see a show.

Awesome rooftop experience. Food and drinks were good. Unexpected ambiance. The staff were very welcoming. It was a nice vibe after work.

I'm giving 5 stars solely to AJ who works here. At first, we were disappointed with how things were going but then AJ turned the whole thing around. He served us the whole time and went above and beyond for us. He was quick and made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered the cheese toast which was really good, along with the cheese plate. We also had Bellinis which were also good and stayed full the whole time, thanks to AJ! The rooftop itself was a whole vibe. But what you don't see in any pics are the 2 person bistro table, so I suggest asking for a good spot when booking and not a 2 person table, which were tucked against the wall. I would recommend this place and we plan on going back on our next visit!

FINALLY A ROOFTOP BAR WITH AC!!! The atmosphere is amazing. It has all the appeal of a classy bar and rooftop views with AC. This is a perfect spot to bring a date. The espresso martini is fabulous!

Went here with the girls and had Lily as a server. She was amazing. She gave us the best service and kept it with us. Ask for her when you go here. The place is super super cute and bottomless brunch was super fun and reasonable. You won't regret it.

Extremely rude guy in the ground floor who didn't let my friend group in because apparently one of my friends was not in "dress code." We even had a reservation..:/

Easy central NYC access, about average NYC prices, and a nice upscale atmosphere for a casual drink, informal work meeting, or event space.

The rooftop is beautiful and the ambiance gives an elegant touch of Alice in wonderland fun. However, that's when the fun stopped during our trip to the Elsie. Th alcohol was served 45 minutes before our order for food was taken! They even gave us a full refill of all our mimosa carafes before the food was ordered so as you can imagine we were very intoxicated, but in a stomach hurts-bubble guts sort of way bc of the empty stomachs. The food was alright but overall not enough to wait an hour and a half to eat. I will say they extended our service time because how long they were taking.

I like this place plenty enough, but wouldn't rush to return. There is nothing SUPER or AWFUL about it, it's just a rooftop bar. On the plus side, it wasn't crowded during busy season, but my friend and I were slightly suspicious as to why we were the only people there. The staff were perfectly nice and the drinks were decent (albeit $20/cocktail, but this is Manhattan...). I would call this place fine for a drink or two with a medium-good rooftop view. We had a good time.

Did not make it in because of their DRESS CODE... WHAT? Guy in the ground floor who lets people in needs to fix his attitude!
