Where to Eat the Best Pho in New Orleans - Eater New Orleans

"Tung Nguyen (hailing from the West Bank’s highly-regarded Thanh Thanh dynasty) has set up shop in Metairie after a stint on St. Claude Avenue, cranking out steaming bowls of pho with 24-hour simmered broth in his own place on Vets Boulevard." - Clair Lorell, Eater Staff

I have been dying to try this place and today I finally got that opportunity! Everything one the menu looks amazing, so it was very hard to decide. We ended up going with the C.R.D (crab Rangoon dip), a pork belly bao, a brisket bao and the bang bang shrimp bahn mi. It was all delicious and I will definitely back! If I could change one thing though, it would be the loud music. The music was turned up a bit too much for me. I felt that I had to project my voice for my fiancé to hear me. It still isn’t going to stop me from going back though!

If you need a break from the heavy po boys of other NOLA icons, this your best bet. The Vietnamese know their sandwiches, and these banh mis really give their po boy counterparts a run for their money. The char siu pork belly is a great sandwich that is excellent when fresh. The carrots, cucumbers, and cilantro really bring out the freshness of the pork sandwich. Fries as a side is a little different and something you won't find at probably any other Vietnamese restaurant, but they're good so why not?!

Very good beef pho here and pork belly bao was amazing! Big portions of pho with lots of flavour at a great price!

Great place, great service, clean and awesome food. I’ll definitely be back. To the gentleman Shane that left a poor review based off of pics not an actual experience. May your sneezes always come with audible sharts.

The Pho wasn't up to par to the other pho I've had at real vietnamese restaurants..I won't be returning..to me the pho broth needed more seasoning kinda bland.
