Emmy Squared Pizza: Coral Gables

The pizza was good, I have never had Detroit style in Detroit, but comparable to other Detroit styled pizzas I have had in the past. I got the Vodka Pizza and the sauce was delicious. The cheese also had a good pull, but could have used more. The cocktails were pretty good, but since this is a chain, don't expect drinks to look the same as they do on Instagram. They have gluten free and vegan options too!

The pizza tasted good but it was not Detroit style pizza, it was cooked quickly and Detroit style pizza takes a while to cook. Detroit style pizza is also much thicker than what received. No where close to a deep dish pizza. The flavor was there but there wasn’t enough cheese in the pizza and it resembled more of a New York pizza than Detroit. Also chicken on Caesar salad was dry and rubbery. Service was great, waitresses were sweet and timely. Difficult to say much about the atmosphere as there was only one other table in the restaurant occupied.

We enjoyed the "Le Big Matt" burger and "MVP" pizza in this new restaurant in the middle of Miracle Mile. The food was quite good, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was charming. The only consideration is that the burger might be spicy relative to American standards, it's still good but the menu doesn't provide that reference. Would come back to taste the other pizzas.

Award-winning burger? Where? 😱😨 I ordered my burger medium rare, but what I got was a small, dry, and under-seasoned patty. The meat was thin and didn’t taste particularly fresh. It was so disappointing that I had to return it. Definitely not what I expected from a place with such great reviews on Instagram! Also, not worth $18 dollars. Service and atmosphere were great.

The food was amazing . The service was kind, attentive and warm. The best pizza with bacon, pepperoni and burrata I have ever tasted. The appetizer was great as well . I highly recommend this place. You will love it

A long awaited arrival - Emmy Squared is a wonderful addition to the mile. Their thick, Detroit style pizza is unique to Miami's usual pizza scene. They have a nice variety of menu offerings plus a full bar. My first experience was ordering delivery & I was pleasantly surprised at how great it was. So, I decided to pay them a visit on Sunday. For the delivery, I ordered the Birria pizza & it is an absolute MUST TRY. The flavors far exceeded my expectations & for a delivery the quality was top notch. The edges were nice & crispy. On Sunday, I came in & was sad to see they were extremely slow. There were only 2 other occupied tables. We had the watermelon salad & the vodka pizza. I loved the watermelon salad & highly recommend it. The vodka pizza was good but it was a bit bland & could have used some more toppings. I hope their business picks up soon because I love this place!

Oh my god, best burger I've ever had! Ordered the mozzarella sticks, bbq wings and sirracha wings, the margarita pizza, and the star of the table was LE BIG MATT Burger! Loved the atmosphere and the service was immaculate..❤️

Tried the one in NYC so had to try this. Although the Place was empty at noon the waiter told us we had to sit outside since we had our 2 pups with us ,one who is a trained service dog and always sits by my feet and the other who was in my daughters bag hardly visible. That was already a big turn off when most places in Miami are super dog friendly with indoor dining as well.Definitely didn’t get the attentive service sitting outside either. Was delighted to have a vegan cheese option though but disappointed with no other vegan or vegetarian menu options not even a veggie burger, veggie meats for the pizza or gardein chicken wings which most places in Miami offer. The pizza was good although a bit more cheesy on the square than round pizza so dough is thus not as crispy. Overall nice family style place to have a salad, pizza or burger just leave your dog behind if you want to sit inside, plus it would be nice to get more with the times and offer vegan and vegetarian options.

Can't say enough good things about Emmy Squared! Every time we come here the vibes are amazing and the food is always good. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, usually we opt for pizza but this time we tried some new menu items. The sprouts salad was HUGE and so flavorful. The Zia fries were indulgent but delicious- also huge. The portions and quality of the food is amazing for the price. Highly recommend you try Emmy Squared on your next night out.

As a hard to please ex NY'er this was the first time I have had a Detroit Pizza and was very pleased with the pie from Emmy Squared. Similar to a Sicilian style pizza I've had many times in NY. What made this pizza great was the sauce and flavor of it along with a great crust. Many so called pizza places here in Miami think pizza consists only of melted cheese on bread and use very little, if any, red sauce. Good sized pizza, reasonably priced and I will definitely be ordering again,

What a treat! The food was amazing. So many good pizza options on the menu. We had the mozzarella sticks which were so good and better than your average mozzarella sticks. The VIP pizza was so unique and delicious. The burger was a stand out. And finishing off with the skillet baked brownie was perfect. Definitely will be back to try the wings, pastas, and all the different pizza options. What an awesome menu. The ambience was very nice and calm. Great for a group or a date night. The service was good, our waiter was quite busy and not the most attentive. But the hostess Sarai, was walking around and was so nice and helpful!

Got Emmy Squared for takeout and it is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I am not a fan of deep dish, but this is next level. We tried the Roni Supreme, which is pepperoni with chilies. It was so amazing, the crust tasted like it was infused with butter and garlic. We also got the BKLYN Mozz Sticks and they did not disappoint- the signature red sauce was the highlight. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, they also offer gluten free crust. You can sit inside or outside, it was a modern yet peaceful vibe.

Amazing pizza !! The best I have had in about 5 different places ! It really is the best pizza I have ever had ! Truly amazing taste !

OK, being from New York City we've had any squared in New York and the quality and food that you get. That's definitely apparent both very very good but New York City is definitely a tad bit better. The pizza wasn't the same as New York quality but the burger sure was the burger was excellent we love the burger and the watermelon. Para salad was great as well. The picture drinks can't beat that deal will definitely be back. Hopefully the pizza can match the New York City quality Emmy squared pizza as well.

Wow this place is phenomenal! Right in the heart of coral gables on miracle mile it is the perfect pizza spot! Our waiter was so nice attentive and friendly. We had the classic pizza but added burrata . I love Detroit pizza because it's crispy on the edges but thick and soft in the middle! We also had the MVP with vodka sauce and drizzled with pesto. The crust tasted like it had everything but the bagel seasoning on it! Tell me why the showstopper was the burger!? Honestly one of the best I've ever had! The pretzel bun was so amazing. The burger is cooked to perfection and is a nice juicy patty. The sauce on it was incredible and it is topped off with yummy pickles. Still dreaming about it!

Came to Emmys for the first time for a friend's birthday and we had the set menu for all guests. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and offers outdoor seating. To drink we began with the pitcher of Margarita, the only issue that came up was that the waitress didn't day there was a $20 upcharge when we changed the vodka type- thankfully they were good about removing the fee from our tab. We started with the Mozzarella sticks and they were pretty flavorful and crispy. The squared pizza flavors we got was pepperoni and cheese, I'm not a fan of Detroit style pizza so this was just too thick and full of bread for my taste. Overall not too bad, just really not my style of pizza.

Came here for the Detroit style pizza, and it did not disappoint. The space was very nice. We got the cheese pizza, an order of mozzarella sticks, and a brussel sprouts salad. The mozzarella sticks were crispy and gooey. It's probably one of the best I have ever had. The pizza had a nice crunchy bottom and a chewy top. The brussel sprout salad was refreshing. The portions are large and great for sharing.

My new favorite casual restaurant on Miracle Mile. Pizza, Burgers and Wings!! Emmy has taken these three food groups to a new level, the pizza is the square Detroit style with a light flavorful crust, packed with flavors. The burger is like no other burger I have ever tried, again full of flavor and served on a pretzeled bun. The wings were nicely charred and perfectly done, overall a MUST try next time you find yourself in the Mile. Loved it!!!

Opened a large pizza that I picked up at the Coral Gables location. There was a live cockroach inside. They did provide a credit on my credit card.

Big fans from Brooklyn spot, stopped in on a Sunday to give them and shot and it was a delight. The service from Norman was exceptional and his recommendations of the sriracha wings were a must ! Crispy, sweet and spicy what a wonderful combination. We ordered a large pizza and everyone was extremely pleased with the crust and the flavors exploding in our mouth. We will definitely continue to frequent this place when in the mood for Detroit style pizza or some wings.

Order from this spot on a whim after perusing through the pages of door dash not wanting the usual spots, and boy am I glad I did. I come to find out this location recently opened near me and their pizza was all the rave! I ordered the vodka pizza and added ricotta, their pizzas are Detroit style which happen to be my favorite kind as of late. The pizza arrived hot and the sauce to crust ratio was perfect. The ricotta added a nice creamy note to the already flavorful pizza. I also got an order of their cheesy garlic bread that comes with a side of their marinara, it was delectable. All in all I am very happy I now have this spot as an option for my meals and I will definitely be a repeat customer!

I don't normally go out of my way for pizza but this establishment is well worth it! They make their pizza Detroit style which results in a crispy and rich crust that is good on its own. We had the pepperoni and birria pizzas and both were amazing. 5 stars!

From the outside, Emmy Squared Pizza looks like the new kid on the block... untested, unproven, an experiment. Well, what's inside the box tells a completely different story. We ordered off of Uber Eats and have been on a tear, trying all Detroit style pizza in the greater Miami area. This pizza blew us away. We build a custom 10x14 and loaded it with all 3 sauces (classic red, garlic parsley pesto, AND house made vodka) then threw on red onions, pepperoni, and sausage to top it off. The crust was perfect. The exact crispness on the edges you would look for without making the base suffer. It was hot, perfectly cooked, and the toppings were well-portioned and high quality. Like it often is in schools, I wouldn't be surprised if this "new kid" spot becomes a popular, concreted STAPLE in Miami. Bring it on pizza scene, Emmy is ready for that smoke. I would say traditionally I'm not a deep dish or Detroit style fan, but their pizza here is very good. Pies are on the smaller side though and the pricing if you order through an app can be a little weird where you might get the exact same pizza for a different price if you build it yourself vs order it as described. I'm a big fan of the pink sauce they offer and appreciate they have elevated toppings such as caramelized onions. I wish they had a specific veggie pie. I've never dined in, but the place looks nice, clean, and spacious and the staff is friendly when I pick up my order. On one occasion I was a little early to pick up and my meal wasn't ready. The bartender was workshopping a fall cocktail and offered it to me while I waited. It was a delicious apple based drink with all the fall vibes and packed quite the punch. I was very glad I volunteered to do the pickup that day instead of my husband.

Very very saucy pizza, & very cheesy, I'd like to think it's the perfect blend. The crust was crunchy and doughy in the middle. I would recommend.

Walking on miracle mile and decided to try this spot. The food was amazing. The ambience was very pleasing. My only take away was that my server. Was not very attentive. It seemed they were understaffed. I asked her for ranch sauce when I ordered my food and we basically ate the whole meal and she didn't bring it. Then I asked her for it again and she's randomly brought me the check and charged two dollars for each ranch sauce then I asked her for it again and she finally bought it. Once again the food was amazing and I will come back again to try some of the other items, but hoping for a better experience.

Yes I got caught up in the SQUARE pizza hype and tried Emmy's. What can I say, it was good pizza, the place was full and super loud, service was above average. The best part of the meal were the Brooklyn Mozzarella sticks (on pricey side $15). We found the Deluxe 8x10 is enough for 2 people, is you ordered an appertizer. Over all, good, but probably will not go back.

Stopped in for a bite. Great service, food came out quickly. Had wings, cheesy parsley garlic bread, roasted cauliflower, two Detroit style pizzas (MVP and a pepperoni). Sauce is bright and fresh, crust is crunchy with a good chew. So good!

We went there for dinner. It has a nice ambiance. The service was slow and it wasn't that busy or full. The food was subpar. The burger was much smaller than expected and for the price ($18,50) totally not worth it. We ordered chicken parm sandwiches that were burnt to a crisp and not edible. We also ordered dessert that was also charred and not good. We spent a fortune and left underwhelmed. It's located in a great spot but if service & food continues to be subpar, I don't anticipate it lasting much longer. Our waitress was sweet and did her best, however.

Very nicely decorated, ambiance was great, the server we got she was really nice informative about the food also gave us some recommendations but we didn't like how all the food got at the table at the same time , wings we got the pineapple chili glaze didn't really taste like much , Burger came out over cooked buns where also burnt and the pizza felt really dense but had good flavor and felt like they cared about the quality of ingredients

Fantastic, 10/10! The service was great, the restaurant is cute, family friendly but also great cocktails. Don't sleep on the chopped cheese sandwich, best chopped cheese in Miami. The pretzel bun was so soft and the meat was flavorful, perfect cheese ratio! The vodka pizza was great and the the kids menu is fire. Highly recommend!

Excellent pizza, the crust is delicious very soft Detroit style pizza. Excellent service and the restaurant itself isn't pretentious just a nice pizza joint- would recommend! Definitely the better deal is to get the larger size for $5 dollars more instead of the regular size.

If you like uncooked bacon on your pizza then this the place for you!! Amateur hour at Emmy squared.

The service was great! They made sure our drinks were filled and always making sure we had water. The pizza was delicious and truly tasted homemade! They were also nice enough to let us do half and half as we couldn't decide which kind to try:)

Ordered for pick up on a Friday and that was really my mistake, no parking anywhere so I parked in the back alley with all of the DoorDash drivers and prayed that I didn't get a ticket while I picked up my pizza. Pie was very good but not worth the 26.00 I payed for it. All in all this place is a little overrated and pick up is an absolute fail in that area. For Miami it is good pizza.

I was really happy to learn that Emmy Squared was coming to Miami. I have been to two of the New York restaurants and thought they were great. Fortunately this location feels exactly the same. The food and service were excellent, no different than my experience in New York. We have the brussel sprout salad as well as the classic and vodka pizzas. I will definitely return.

I ordered the VIP on Uber. What an absolute disappointment. It was so greasy I couldn't even eat one piece. Detroit pizza?? Show me the pans you cook the pizza in.

The Burgers were soggy and still mooing after we asked for well done, the Chicken Parm sandwich was dry and burnt, the pizza was supposed to be caramelized but yet again wait for it you guessed it DRYYYY !!!!!! do not get the apple pie dessert. the apples are black from the transfer from the skillet. disgusting!

The food was delicious! We started with the Caesar salad which was easily large enough for 2-3 people and tasted great. My wife suffers from celiacs disease and so we opted for the gluten free pizza crust. We had the colony pizza with the gluten free crust. The pizza was enough for the both of us and it was fantastic. The service was very attentive and friendly. We are looking forward to visiting again.

Wow - Wow - Wow Arrived with a reservation and were Greeted and Sat immediately. Our waitress Victoria was Polite and On Point for the Entire meal. We started with the Medium Buffalo Wings. They came out Hot, Perfectly sauced and delicious, not overpowering. Next we had a Sausage a Pepperoni Pizza. The pizza is "Detroit Style", meaning square and on a crispy crust. Pizza was AMAZING, Perfect amount of toppings, sauce and cheese. Nice touch is that they put the pizza on top of a wire rack which is inside the pizza pan after cutting. This keeps the pizza crispy as it isn't sitting in its own juices while you eat. We will DEFINITELY be Back - THANK You !!

From the moment we walked in, our experience was exceptional. The warm and friendly staff welcomed us immediately, seating us immediately, even though we arrived a few minutes late. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between elevated and casual, especially for a pizza joint. Our server was not only attentive but also highly knowledgeable, and we were pleasantly surprised when the chef personally checked in on us. The food was fantastic--from the appetizers to the pizzas, and the brownie dessert was the perfect ending. We were thrilled to have leftovers to take home. Can't wait to return!

My sister introduced me to Detroit style pizza via Jets pizza and their garlic dipping sauce. So loving that pizza and trying to find it in Coral Gables was a lost cause. I found that there are no delicious Detroit style pizza places in Coral Gables in my opinion. I was so excited to see that Emmy Squared Pizza was coming to Coral Gables. I am happy to say that the pizza and cheese sticks are soooo drool worthy good. My new problem is to train myself not to order Emmy Pizza ALOT! SO GOOD! My only suggestion is to offer a garlic dipping sauce. I use the Jets garlic sauce to dip. Anyway, the food is so delicious and welcome to Coral Gables!!

The pizza was FANTASTIC!! And the drinks were on point too. We ordered the colony pizza and made our own veggie pizza and they were both delicious. I ordered the spicy spicy tequila drink and my husband ordered a Negroni. The food came out quick, the servers were attentive, the place had a great, calm ambiance. Can't wait to go back and try their burgers and salads too. Overall a great experience!

We became a fan through their Goldbelly packages and zoom cooking class. It was so great! Delicious high quality ingredients. Lots of options for custom made pizzas. We ordered a do your own veggie pie and a colony pie. Jalapeños are a must for any pie, spicy! Service was solid. Negroni and margarita were good. Hope everyone tries it. Great addition to Coral Gables. Everyone must support!

My office catered in a pizza party lunch from Emmy Squared. The food was delicious and everything was perfect. The staff was courteous and helpful.

So excited about this place opening! Best pizza in NY and for sure best pizza in Miami. Highly recommend the Big Matt burger and the Good Paulie pizza. Very cool environment with a chill music vibe. Service was impeccable! Will definitely return.
