Classic arcade games, pinball, pool, cocktails & craft beer

"If the world from Ready Player One became our reality in the future, someone stumbling on the Emporium Arcade Bar would be like finding every fictional treasure rolled into one. Set up in an old theater, this place is loaded with every type of arcade game you can imagine including Pacman, Galaga, pool, and Skee-ball. But even if games aren’t your thing, this is a great place to come with groups. There are lots of places to sit and hang out, the TVs are always playing movies or sports, and there are bars on each level of the venue. If someone in your group gets hungry, they’ll let you bring in food from the Popeyes down the block. It’s a fun place to get together for a birthday or to watch sports with all of your friends, and probably will be until we all only hang out over the internet with VR headsets." - Will Kamensky
"The big open floor surrounded by balconies makes Emporium feel less like your average arcade bar and more like a gaming arena. In addition to the usual token-fed machines and well drinks, this NoPa spot has massive tables to rent, in case you need a central meeting place between rounds of Galaga. It's also a great place to keep a date going after a concert at The Independent next door." - julia chen 1
"If you’re really impatient or just have a thing for Pacman, you could wait for your table at The Emporium. This arcade bar has tons of machines and games like Galaga, skeeball, and air hockey to play while you pass the time. If you’re not careful, though, you could end up playing through your call to come back to the restaurant." - will kamensky

"A Wicker Park arcade bar has reopened and is hosting a free, 21+ community event in partnership with a Puerto Rican cultural group's trans empowerment program; the evening aims to connect LGBTQ attendees with sexual‑health, mental‑health and substance‑use resources and will feature a DJ performance, scavenger hunts, trivia and complimentary game tokens." - Naomi Waxman
