When I'm on vacation, I love to treat myself to great food, and Encanto did not disappoint. I discovered it on Google Maps and was drawn in by the photos. At first, I thought the place looked a bit fancier online than in person, but once we settled in, I really saw its charm. The atmosphere is cozy, lush, and full of greenery, creating a relaxed and inviting vibe.
Our waiter was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I absolutely dislike cilantro, and he made sure my dish was prepared without it. He also recommended mocktails, and I have to say, they were the most delicious I've ever had. Mine was a refreshing mix of cucumber, watermelon, and mango--perfectly balanced, not too sweet and not too sour.
For food, we ordered the Encanto Burger, the Catch of the Day, and the Octopus with Coconut Rice. Every dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor--highly recommend all three.
One tip: be prepared for mosquitoes, but the restaurant thoughtfully provides mosquito spray for guests. For three dishes, three mocktails, and tips, the bill came to around $120 USD. Overall, Encanto is a beautiful, green, and cozy spot that's perfect for a memorable meal in Tulum.
