Enoteca Del Re - Review - Chinatown - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Chinatown’s Blossom Plaza is now home to a small wine bar pouring Italian wines under the strings of red lanterns. The solid happy hour deals and adjacent Metro stop could make Enoteca Del Re a convenient spot to grab a glass of nebbiolo post-work, plus there’s a short menu of charcuterie plates, sandwiches, and pizzas to pick at. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Cathy Park

One of LA’s Best Fried Chicken Spots Is Opening in a Riverside Motel | Eater LA

"A new Italian wine bar opened in Chinatown’s Blossom Plaza. The intimate space (900 N. Broadway, #1070, Los Angeles, CA 90012) serves an Italian-leaning wine list with small bites to pair, including meat and cheese platters and two kinds of flatbread pizzas. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m." - Cathy Chaplin

The sardine dish was simply incredible! Light but refreshing and tasty. I also had the pesto pasta, which was simple, but definitely a good portion for the price. The selection of wines are great. I stuck with white and orange wines and they were both fantastic. Super cozy and right off of the Chinatown metro station stop. Truly doesn’t feel like the car centric experience of LA. I strongly recommend stopping by for a glass of wine.

Love it here! A gem in Downtown LA, right on the edge of Chinatown. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the calm and clean atmosphere—an oasis of tranquility that immediately set the tone for one of the best wine experiences I’ve ever had in Los Angeles. If you’re looking for a warm, inviting spot to enjoy incredible wine and food in a serene setting, Enoteca Del Re should be at the top of your list. It’s truly a standout addition to the Downtown scene, and I can’t wait to come back!

Stumbled upon this place after taking the metro to Chinatown. Great atmosphere, cozy seating and lighting, lots of authentic old photos of the owner's Italian family, the menu small but solid. There's also a happy hour which is hard to find post-covid! I recommend the nebbiolo or even the Italian IPA (who knew!) and any of the flatbreads or snacks. Definitely worth a visit!

I had a craving for a good class of wine and this place hit the spot. On top of the wine, the food was also delicious. I talked to Elizabeth, the owner, and she was funny, passionate, and informative about the details of many types of wine. I was curious when my friend said that we were going to a new wine spot and I am happy that we went. Check this place out!

Lovely new wine bar near Dodger Stadium. Cozy with great wine selection with some fun flight options. Owner was bartending and super friendly!

Came upon this new wine bar walking through Blossom Plaza after coming off the metro. It’s super cute and they have a great selection of Italian wines. I happen to be there first night of the wine flight Wednesdays so I got to try a few. My favorite was the Barbera. Definitely will be back.

Good wines and salads. The focaccia pizzas are tasty but a little too salty / heavy.

Swung by on the first night they were open, had a glass of the Nebbiolo which was fantastic, chased it with a non-alc Erdinger and the Naples 1889 flatbread pizza. Owner is super sweet, had some good conversations with other patrons at the bar, felt like a very friendly place which is rare in LA. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
So this was a new spot I'd heard about from some friends that live in the building. It's got a nice set up with spots at the bar and some two tops inside and out, though I just stayed inside since it was a bit cold that night. They have a good selection of wines, reds, whites, and rosés. It leans Italian, but there's some French and Spanish wines too. I had the Nebbiolo on the recommendation of the owner and it was really great! It's a small business, so the owner was behind the bar and made the food as well (I had the Naples cheese flatbread pizza which was really tasty and filling). Finished it off with an Erdinger non-alc beer which was new for me. Most non-alc beers bars and restaurants carry aren't that great, which was actually something I brought up to the owner. She agreed and said that when she was picking her wine and beer list, she not only wanted to offer something different than most places, but also wanted to make sure everything she offered tasted good too. Vibe-wise, it feels very neighborly. I happened to strike up convos with a few other people that had stopped in when I was there, all very nice folks. I didn't come with a date, but I could see this as a great spot for couples as well. I'll be back for sure, plus it'll be nice to sit outside once the weather warms up a bit more in the spring. Go!

Yelp
Met some friends there and it was a pleasant surprise. First it's hard to find, in a quiet part of Blossom Plaza. The service was superb. Elizabeth the owner was very accommodating. She recommended a choice sparkling rose and then brought us 3 different Italian reds throughout the evening. Flat breads were superb. It's a relatively new restaurant. For me, I would have loved to have a salad. They need to expand their veggie options a bit, like Portabello mushrooms and red capsicum flat breads for example. It's a great place to meet, drink, nosh and converse.

Yelp
We went for their grand opening and found delicious food plus a great wine list! We ordered the spicy Italian flatbread and the prosciutto and burrata for the table. We added the Nebbiolo, Renato Ratti Longhe Ochetti which is a complex wine that paired fantastically well with the food. Welcoming and charming atmosphere where you can also be comfortable and laid back. We'll definitely visit again!

Yelp
This place is fantastic. Atmosphere is extremely relaxed and the owner is a lot of fun. Don't miss the dessert. Love that this is in Chinatown.
