Enoteca Rosso Review - Kensington - London - The Infatuation

"Enoteca Rosso is a stylish Italian wine bar/restaurant on Kensington High Street that’s great with a few of your friends, or that date, or just to get wine drunk while nibbling a plate of excellent charcuterie. While the pasta is nice enough, it will not blow your mind. You’re really here for the wine. photo credit: Charlie McKay" - Eileen Twum

The service was a bit slow. It was hard to get anyone's attention when we needed something. The food was delicious but there was not a wide menu. My friends struggled with the limited options. The drink and appetizers need more options. The pastas were delicious and the dessert was heavenly. Portions are a bit small for the pasta so keep that in mind when ordering. I would recommend.

First visit on a Monday, restaurant was quiet but there was a warm welcome for the host. Excellent pasta main course, followed by a delightfully light, pana cotta. House red was very good. Revisited Wednesday, and was greeted with ‘welcome back’ from the host - a true professional. This time the restaurant was busy and had a lively atmosphere. I chose grilled octopus on beans from the expanded menu. A new dish that was delicious! Followed by tiramisu that was really light and fluffy. Great service all-round.

Warm and friendly welcome, great past dishes, scrumptious fish dishes. A frequently visited local restaurant for me 💙🐦

Would not recommend. Ordered the special Pappardelle Ragu @ £17. Small portion, dry with barely any meat and served warm not hot! I could have made it much better myself. Only gave it two stars as we chose a good wine. The ladies toilet didn’t flush and the managing staff barely smiled and looked like they resented being there. Poor customer interface overall. Definitely not worth it.

Really horrific food. The crab pasta smelled and tasted deadly. When I gently brought this to their to attention, they said " Oh its very fresh! The chef said so. We sold 10 or 20 today, nobody complained". Bizarre attitude. The place used to be relatively good I recall. Disappointing.

Went here for a late lunch. The menu included the best of my Italian favourites, so very grateful for the waiters help in deciding to have the Boar Ragout of the Day. It hit the spot perfectly. & Pleased that such an authentic Italian place has GF. The waiter gave us a taste of wine the help us decide which bottle to order. Deli shop on the side to take home some mementoes. . This place is Italian Heaven. Have been here before. Will definately be back. Thankyou.

Lovely meal at this restaurant. Popped in for a drink. The select spritza was very good. Since we were comfortable there decided to investigate the menu. We really enjoyed the wild boar and the duck breasts. Toyed with the idea of the pasta especially since they had gluten free pasta but decided against this time. The sweet we choose was the ice cream which was vegan plus during coffee and brandy which you added to the ice cream. Very tasty. Good friendly service. But pricey but then I am not used to London prices.

Cute place! They have a deli display, like for sandwiches and boards, but only work until 6. The restaurant is open until 10:30 I think. Try the mushroom aranci, ravioli carbonara, and lasagna 😋. I think it needs a little music or something..
