I will be recommending Dr. Kate and Enso Mama to all of my expecting and postpartum friends! I started seeing Dr. Kate two weeks after my c-section. I had been very active and worked out throughout my pregnancy and wanted to take steps to safely return to that level of activity. Dr. Kate first helped me understand where my body was at immediately postpartum and created a plan with exercises I could start doing safely right away. Being able to understand a body I felt like I didn’t know anymore and take charge of my healing even during the 6 weeks where I was sore and had lifting restrictions was incredibly helpful for my mental and physical health. She also helped me monitor the healing of my scar. I believe coming to her so early in my postpartum recovery really help improve the thickness and overall healing of the scar itself. It was a relief so have someone helping me monitor it in the weeks between seeing my OB. On top of ALL of this, I just really enjoyed getting to talk to Dr. Kate once a week. As a mom herself, I felt like she could really relate to what I was experiencing and was always willing to listen. THANK YOU, DR. KATE!!!

Kate was so helpful in addressing the pelvic floor pain I experienced after my second pregnancy. The education she provided about posture and proper breathing greatly reduced my symptoms after the first session and we were also able to mobilize the scar tissue from my C-section in my first pregnancy. I worked with Dr. Kate at Enso Mama to help heal my pelvic floor postpartum and she was wonderful! She used a variety of modalities to help strengthen and heal my pelvic floor, always made sure I was comfortable, and made the at home exercises so easy to squeeze in (did them many a time while baby had tummy time!). One of the absolute best things about Enso Mama is that they understand it can be hard to find time for yourself with a new baby so they encourage you to bring them with you! The PTs will hold your baby and keep them entertained while you do your workout. My baby enjoyed coming to PT as much as I did! And while I never worked with Dr. Megan, I've met her several times and she seems equally nice and very competent!
