Enso Omakase is a beautifully designed spot with a stunning atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. However, some aspects left us feeling like the price didn’t fully justify the evening. The cocktails were exceptional—definitely a highlight—but some of the tastings felt fairly generic and lacked the creativity you’d expect at this price point. On the plus side, the restaurant has a lovely backyard, which we’re excited to try out in the summer. Overall, Enso delivers on atmosphere and drinks, but the food didn’t quite live up to the premium price tag. It’s worth a visit, but temper your expectations.

Incredible all-around true Japanese omakase experience, felt like I was in Tokyo for the evening. Every dish was fantastic and I loved how well everything was explained and how clear the chefs were about everything we were eating. Chef/owner Nick is extremely passionate about his craft. From the seasonal fish, to the knives he picked up in Japan, to the interior design of the whole place, he loves all of it and is very proud to share it with customers. Hearing him speak so passionately about his craft is inspiring and was worth the price of admission alone. I look forward to going back!

This place transports you out of Williamsburg in the most magical way possible. The fish is freshly imported and melts in your mouth, with each bite you take. It’s expertly paired with an incredible wine list and the staff makes you feel right at home with their attention to every detail. The ambiance begs you to book your next visit upon departure.

Had a wonderful first experience here. Went on a quiet Thursday shortly after opening with just 3 tables in the bar dining room. All of us enjoyed the experience from what I could overhear and the service and attention was very good. Both my wife and I ordered the 12 piece omakase very reasonably priced at $95 and we had a bottle of Blue River sake, a recommendation from the very friendly server. The entire course was enjoyable with simple, fresh nigiri and gunkan including some great toro and savory uni. Nothing was extravagant, if that's what you're looking for. The ambience is traditional edo style and they have a lovely back yard which will be open in the summer. Will be back.

This was my first time dining at Bar Lounge at the Enso Omakase. The food and service were great and I would definitely recommend! It’s the best omakase testing menu in Brooklyn ever! I got a Full Omakase testing its was a 12 course of sushi including a Hokkaido Uni, Tuna, Toro that’s was Amazing and I also love a purple highball that’s I would love to keep ordering again and again. The decor was minimalistic Japanese, intimate nature and fit the vibe of the restaurant perfectly. I will be back again for a 16 course at omakase room. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazed at the quality of this place, from decor through experience, to the food. Had a chance to sit down at the 16-course omakase and was very impressed with both chefs and the staff. Quality of fish was phenomenal (and that fresh wasabi and ginger!) and experience of sitting down at the counter for the meal was exceptional. Great choice of cocktails and sakes as well. Really well done! Thank you for the meal.

My fiancè and I were in town last night for the evening celebrating with some old friends and wanted to do it the right way. From before we even walked in the door, we knew arrived somewhere special, and whether you opt for the main-ticket sushi counter or the more laid back 12-course lounge experience like our group did, you are in for a truly wonderful evening yourself. The sushi, cocktails, service, and decor are all executed with extreme skill, but more importantly, with abundant passion and generosity of spirit. Please, if you trust your evening to Chef Nick, Byron, and Freddy, you will not be disappointed, and like us, will certainly leave with some great memories.
