If you're looking for a fantastic local brewery, you've got to check out Epidemic Ales. They craft delicious beers right on the other side of the wall They have a different food truck on-site every day, serving up great food. , and they mix it up with weekly beer slushie flavors that are a great year round. I definitely recommend swinging by on "Taco Tuesday" for a refreshing horchata lager, my personal favorite, paired with a quesadilla from the OG Tacos food truck. It's a great combo. They also have a Mug Club that gets you 1 free beer a day and a discount on their merch. I've got 2 shirts, a dog collar, and a Bennie.

Ever since we moved to this area (over a year ago) we’ve been trying to find a nice chill spot that offers lots of activities with a nice venue. I think we found it!! We were here last night and it was fun. Good music, great employees and lots of parking!! Love the fact they announce what food trucks they will have that day in their instagram so that makes it easy to decide if we eat there or not.

Went to this brewery for first time last week. Great selection of stouts and IPAs. Served by two amazing people behind the bar. They had some live music on when we went in, they have some cool artwork on walls and I absolutely loved their merc so picked up a hoodie. When they heard I was Irish and last orders were coming up, they asked if I wanted to call it in over the mike. Anyway we all had a laugh. I’d advise getting there early as the night we went it closed at 9pm.

Used to like coming here but they almost hit me on the road today. Pick better drivers.

Cool brewery w/ some tasty beers. The indoor location is well appointed with seating, a pool table, and heaters for the cold days. The beer is overall very good, w/ a standout for me being their Peanut Butter Stout. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable and definitely willing to answer questions or "talk shop". This is my favorite brewery in the area at this point.

It's great seeing families and groups of friends all enjoying the space together. I love trying different beers each time I visit, and so far, everything has been top-notch. If you're into lighter beers, the Limelight Lager is a must-try. For those who prefer something a bit more robust, the hazy IPAs are fantastic. They also rotate food trucks outside, so there's always something new and delicious to try, which adds to the overall experience. Epidemic Ales is my new favorite place to meet up with friends. We go every Saturday night for either Karaoke or Comedy Night (every 3rd Saturday), grab a beer and catch up. It's fun, the beertenders are friendly and always recommend delicious drinks, the crowd is always respectful. There's always a different food truck parked outside, and everything I've had has been delicious. Tucked away in the Industrial area of Concord, Epidemic isn't in a spot you'd expect a brewery, it's more of a friendly warehouse with tables and colored lights. But that's what I like. No dress code, casual, comfortable, just fun with friends. You can even bring your well-behaved dog with you, lots of people bring their kids, too. I always get something different when I go, but everything I've tried has been delicious. I really like the limelight lager if you want something a bit lighter in flavor, but the hazy IPAs are great, too. They also have great merch, special merch for some holidays or different days of the year, too.

Epidemic Ales has been serving up great suds, savory treats from rotating food trucks and fun times for those 21+. I prefer the dark stouts but recently tried the watermelon slushy. Oh my, very nice on a hot day! Located in the industrial party of Concord so there's always available parking. The food trucks are fan favorites so sometimes there's a line but it's worth the wait. Inside is a casual, cool vibe. Outdoor seating too. Large screen TVs and special events that please all types; comedy, painting, trivia and more. Hope over to the website for all the updated info. Staff are friendly and helpful. Clientele is a variety of young and old and there's always a dog or two in the mix. So many beers to choose from means something for everyone. Swing by, you won't be disappointed.

Nice little hideout great atmosphere and vibes. You can bring your food and puppies. Enjoy a cool brewsky play some poolsky and get a nice buzzki.

Been here a few times. The ambiance is great with the pool table, games and tvs to watch sports. The staff is nice and friendly. I like the selection of different beers they have. This time I had the Horchata lager which went well my tacos from OG Tacos. Definitely recommend this place!

Our family had a fun time hanging out here on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered a 8 beer sampler and the non-drinkers had icecream. You can chose your own beers but I just asked for the staff favorites. My favorite beer from the samples were Abomination and Pale Alien. The watermelon slushy was very interesting, reminds me of a strawberry daiquiri, but with beer. I drink too slow so the watermelon and the slush separated out... oops. I like that they had a lot of games. We played cornhole and a card game called set. Bathroom was clean. Years ago, they had a kids playroom. But they said they had gotten rid of that since the Covid pandemic. I was disappointed because my kids really enjoyed that playroom, and I was able to drink my beer in peace .

A little crazy, fun, and wild stop. We are finishing a hike in a nearby area and had a hankering for a beer and happen to stop by this place. It happened to be Saint Paddy's day and the place was packed. They were playing music and people were singing along and there was a food truck nearby beers were great and the ambience was amazing.

A great Concord brewery. Hang with the people of Concord and nearby area. Beers priced mostly in the $5 to $7 range. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Lots of people of different ages just enjoying themselves. One pool table, video games, some other games. Beer brewed on the premises. A little tricky to find this spot, it's in a business park type of area full of where houses and the sign on the street is small. Look for the food truck parked out front and you'll know you found the spot. They also sell cans of beers to go. Check them out.

This place has so much potential to be better. Pros. 1. beer is ok and is made there. 2. Location is good also . 3. Staff is friendly Cons. 1. No security at all. 2. No age requirement and when the show started a couple of teenagers started talking and wouldn't $hut up. It was so disrespectful towards the comedians, nobody could hear their jokes. I had to leave due to this. 3. They need to put a speaker on the left side next to the pool table. It's very difficult to hear especially when others won't $hit up. 4. Eat before you come here or bring your own food. Food truck was horrible and overpriced. I'll come back in a couple of months with hopes they get their act together.

Went on trivia night and this place was a blast. Great atmosphere, music and drink selection. An overall epic time!!!

Hands down best little spot to grab Friday drinks and tacos. I want them to get all the business but also want to keep it a little secret so it doesn't get overcrowded. Lol. Hard balance!! Staff is always 5-stars. So friendly, chill and quick. Food (OG TACOS) on Tuesday and Friday 10-stars. I cannot describe how delicious everything is. Simple yet flavorful menu. The Ramen alone gets me drooling. I mean, droooooling. You can place a mobile order to make sure you get it before they sell out. And they sell out fast! Beers and beer slushy is also a home run. Be sure to check out seasonal beers. They do a good job of switching out the flavors. Prices are spot on. Don't know what you want? Try the flight. Can't go wrong. Great for a date night or for large groups. Family friendly and just an inviting experience. They have themed nights so be sure to follow on Instagram to go on trivia or karaoke night. Last, DOG FRIENDLY inside and out. They welcome our four legged friends. Pets give it a 5-star too. Cheers!

Loved the Dole Pineapple Whip Slushies on a hot day. The staff are fun and definately entertaining.

There food truck selection is great. There mug club deal is great. But there management is garbage. Most of there employees are sensitive and should not be in a environment as this. I was a regular and all the other customers, regulard loved me but the staff there is very pc and sensitive so I was kicked out for some lame shit! This isn't a 5 star walnut creek high end place. Grow up! I never caused a problem there . Just sober up tight employees. Don't go there. Especially if you leave a tab open because they can't add and you will be overcharged. Bottom line go to calicraft or mareisland as this place is really a bottom of the barrel brewery

This is a brewery which is always going to be my favorite. It has a very nice vibe to it, the service is superb and the beer tenders are very knowledgeable about their products. They always have a food truck everyday of the week. Besides beer, they have sodas, ice cream, and a free pool table! Everytime I come here it always feels like home, every weekend they'll have an event such as karaoke on Saturdays and Singo on Sunday. Enjoy a cold one here at epidemic ales, and you will have a great time!

Epidemic Ales has some of the friendliest beertenders in the bay!! There's something great about a place where you feel welcomed and the staff is thankful you're there/ the beers are delicious and they have a lot of community events like trivia and paint nites. Lots of cool merch as well, dog friendly with food trucks!

Located in the industrial. They always have a food truck in the parking lot, so have some food and beer! I love that they do events, we've gone to painting and the one with Girl Scout cookies with beer tasters. My husband loves their peanut butter beer, I forget what it's called but he always grabs a couple beers before heading out.

If it weren't for Mak, who was a beer tender at Imperiale (now Hop Asylum) and Imperiale Beer Project (now closed) I probably would never come to EA. Been here a handful of times, as of this writing, I'm at the bar and it's not overly crowded on a Wednesday'. However, the first time here I just wasn't feeling it. The vibe was different than some of the other local breweries I visit. But I've given Epidemic a few chances and it's not a bad place. The beer a step above average. Currently drinking their brown ale, Guilty Pleasures, on nitro and it's wonderful! Prior to this, it was their lager, Lager At World's End. I think more now than ever it's about support local craft. So EA keep it the fuck up! Currently 19 beers on tap with cans to go. Trucks outside on a regular basis as well for those hungry drinkers. TVs, pool, pinball and cod hole, if drinking isn't enough for you. The vibe, this time around different and I'm enjoying sitting here, listening to the music and relaxing, taking in the experience. So stop by and say hello to Mak and grab a pint. Cheers!

Great selection and spacious indoor and outdoor seating, and merch! The Ofie's Kitchen food truck was also a delicious bonus. What's so refreshing that I wish more breweries did was provide reasonably priced flights / tasters the way Epidemic Ales does! $2/taster, and extremely useful tasting cards to give description and help you document/remember the beers you tasted. Beers are so filling so having tasters at great prices helps you figure out what beers you like best! Thought the Guilty Pleasure was amazing!

I really love this local brewery in Concord. They have a large selection of different types of beer including IPAs, hazy beers, pale ales, sours, seltzer, and they even make beer slushies - the flavors rotate weekly. The beers are STRONG and flavorful - which I prefer! I don't want any pansy 3-5% ABV beers lol. The staff is super friendly and it's also dog friendly! Brought my brothers and his pups this recent trip. Inside is spacious and there is a bar area, several tables and the back has a pool table and two pinball machines you can hang out at. I've been to their summer skull fest for the past two years I also like coming just for a beer on the weekends. Sometimes there will be live music and there's always a good food truck rotating as well. If you're interested they have a new beer membership now! $175 for annual, one free pour a day, or $1000 for lifetime. Calculated for one year is just 29 trips to make your membership!

We first found Epidemic Ales at the Livermore Farmer's Market. Great service and good beer. We decided to check out in person since we were in Walnut Creek. It's tucked away in a business park. Very unassuming from the outside, but inside, it's a warehouse converted into a brewery. - Order up at the bar - During this visit, they gave us a coupon for the food truck (Al Carajo is the best) - Seating available inside or outside - Dog friendly (but we forgot to bring ours) - Large screen TVs (I was cheering on Women's gymnastic, it was awesome) I tried the beer slushie - I'm going to stick with beer. My husband got the beer flight. We were so impressed that we picked up a 4 pack to go. Food truck vendor may vary, so it's good to check online to see who will be there but if you like good beer, this is a good place to go!

Location is key and this brewery is deep in the industrial part of Concord. I placed my order online for pickup & got there about 30-minutes before closing. Parking is easy & you walk in & they have your order ready. I was greeted immediately & both of my 4 packs were grabbed. I was then offered a taster for each of my beers. I LOVE the Guilty Pleasure - maple pecan pie. It's a little sweet & you can taste the maple. Affliction Amber Ale is very smooth & I liked it a lot. I was buying this 4 pack as a gift for a friend. I also love the can artwork. Definitely recommend trying them out - you won't be disappointed.

Being that Im always looking for cool and fun breweries to discover in the Bay Area, I stumbled upon this place because their cans are readily available at Total Wines. Finally made it out here today and I'm not disappointed. It offered a very vibrant, welcoming ambiance that accompanied by the friendly service and cool artwork mural and colorful interior, made it that much more inviting. Their beers 10/10!! Was pleased to find out 3 out of the 5 owners are female which made sense because I found their dessert inspired beers very appealing. Definitely coming back! This is a very cool hang out spot to go and try some beer and relax. Staff is very friendly and they have tons of beer to select from. Staff is also very knowledgeable if you are unsure of what you want or might like you tell them what you like and they will make a flight for you. I am more of a sour girl and hard seltzer. The sours and seltzers I have tried from here so far I have really enjoyed. They also have a slushy beer which rotates. Those are really good as well, they make them a little sweater which I believe makes them taste better. This time they had a band playing live music it was not might type of music but they put on a nice show. We will be back soon.

Atmosphere, music and beer were lovely! I gave them 4 stars because it was difficult to find the location. But once there, it was a great time. Staff is very energetic and have great customer service. Wide variety of beers. Also had a food truck. Very welcoming.

I've been coming here for the past 5 years, once a year, and each time it gets a little better. But this past time was awesome! Practice makes perfect right? I think they're nearing perfection of the flavorful beers, they're rich and full of flavor, and have a nice variety for everyone. The best part? You can get a full glass of craft beer for as low as $6! Most craft breweries are charging $7-10+ a beer these days. In an age of 8%+ Inflation, this place is a deal!

This place was on my go to list for a long time. Well, here I am. A little away from mainland make this place unique. And having a food truck on site makes it even better. Great hospitality, wide variety of tasty beers makes you wanna come back to this place to enjoy this pleasant experience more and more. You got yourself a customer.

One of my favorite breweries in the SF Bay Area. The brewery is located in a business park, with ample parking around the brewery. Just went recently and purchased their Pineapple Upside-Down Beer. One of the tastiest beers ive had in a while. Looking forward towards coming back in the future. Highly recommended.

"Beer + Philly Cheesesteak + Gelato. Does it get any better than that?" I've been meaning to try this brewery for quite a while, and didn't quite know what to expect, especially with a crisis. There's quite a lot of covered outdoor seating, so I didn't have any trouble getting a little table. They also have plenty of hand sanitizer, so that's great. You order inside of course and then take your beer outside. Because of the crisis, you have to buy a food voucher for $5, but that's understandable. They had a food truck today that I visited, and I ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich. A huge portion, and honestly, quite a bit more than I could eat. For a beer, I ordered a Pilsner, which was great for a hot summer day, for $6. Afterwards, I ordered a dark chocolate gelato. Man alive, the gelato might be even better than the beer! The staff here was really friendly and explained the history behind some of the artwork. So overall, a fantastic visit. I will definitely be back. Don't forget to get some gelato.

I had a great time at this brewery. They have a beer for everyone and they all taste great. My favorite were the sours. They also had a tasty birria tacos food truck. Different food every night. Check out their website for events they set up like trivia and painting. This is in an industrial area near a bunch of warehouses but there is plenty of parking. Lots of people around 6 but by 8 it had started to clear out and the sun had set so it wasn't as hot.

Awesome place to kick back and enjoy some great brews! It was worth driving here even though it was 100+ out since there's nothing like a cold brew on a crazy hot day. There was plenty of outdoor seating due to COVID and we sat down with some $5 tots and a six flight sampler. Our favorites were the Nightshade and Limelight! Also, the touchless flush toilets are GREAT!!! I'll definitely be back.

Reviews did not lie. Service here is great. I didn't get his name, but the one who helped us out had so much energy, you could tell he loved working there. Haha he was head banging to the music playing while pouring our drinks. I just thought that was funny. This place gets busy! Be prepared to stand and wait for a table. We came here on a Friday around 7pm. Luckily we were able to snag a seat inside. I was under the impression that there were going to be a couple of food trucks in this area. There's actually just one vendor selling tacos (at least for that day) and they ran out of meat when I was standing in line :( Overall, good place with good vibes. Kid friendly too. There were alot of families here. Looks like a good place for a date night when you're not able to find a sitter. I would just say be courteous and keep them close by. Two kids were sitting by themselves and took up an entire bench (enough for 6 people).

Tried the holiday pairing options, all of them were really good but the skittles brew needs to be a general release!

Writing this review because I live in Anaheim and work at a brewery where one of your brewers stopped by on vacation. I gave him plenty of samples of our beer, and he rewarded my coworkers and I with a few crowlers brewed in your establishment. All the samples he brought were great. I especially recommend the zombrew ipa. Everything you expect from an IPA but very easy to drink. I wish I knew your name but if you were on vacation in SoCal on nov 6, thank you for your energy and I hope to see you when I next visit epidemic the next time I come up north!

Saw a Groupon for this place and decided to check it out with my boyfriend. I'm not a beer fan but I'm still testing the waters and I'm willing to try some samples whenever I can! You get a really awesome vibe when walking in. Everyone here seems like they're just trying to chill and hang out. There was a Trivia game going on, and it seems like they tend to have a lot of events. There's also a kid-friendly room, and some board games near the entrance. Food trucks come on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Friday-Sundays! I really liked the Red Ale (Red Plague) and Lager at World End. The Nutty and Nice(?) As well, the smell of it was interesting. Our Groupon also got us two Epidemic Ale glasses to take home! Which was awesome. I can see myself coming back here if I'm ever wanting some beer or just want to chill out on a random afternoon! Definitely a place to check out

FUN....hidden in the industrial jungle off Hwy 4 .... Excellent Vibe and great beer - from Traditional to Fun (Beer Slushy". My Fav. Schwartz Beer - A black lager that has all favor of heavy darks that drinks light. Think Perrin Black (MI.) Excellent Start to Date Night tonite !

Located in a business plaza, it was clear that this brewery is a local gem! Everyone was so friendly and the beer selections and prices were unbeatable. The quirky names and decor made this a memorable experience. I loved that they had cards with the names and descriptions of the drinks by every cup as well. We went on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm and it was quite clear, but the crowd came around 2pm. There's plenty of tables spaced outside and some inside. You automatically get a $5 voucher for food because of a law requiring food purchase at breweries. The vendors rotate everyday. Check out my review of The Grilledcheezguy! Nutty But Nice - Has body but not super thick. Light peanut buttery smell and aftertaste. Marilyn Monroast - Coffee-flavored beer that wasn't super thick. It is not creamy or sweet so if you're the kind of person who needs to pack on the flavorings at Starbucks, this isn't for you. 2 Shawnz - Tasted like a good ol' IPA to me. Cut through some of the "interesting" flavors for me. Affliction Amber - I like ambers in general so this was a "normal" tasting beer to me like how 2 Shawnz was. Cabana Boi - Not my cup of tea because I associated the flavor with a certain memory LOL. I didn't like the artificial fruity smell but my friend really liked it. Guava Sour - If you love sour beers, this one is nice and tart. I think I can't drink a whole glass of it, but a taster was nice to cut through the thicker beers. It smells nice. Pecan Pie Guilty Pleasures - This dark drink tasted a bit like coffee to me. It is a dessert beer of sorts and is full-bodied. Pineapple Upside Down - My favorite one! It has just the right amount of fruity flavor. It's not a light aftertaste but not artificially pineapple-tasting. I can see myself drinking it at a beach on a tropical vacation. Located in the industrial part of Concord, Epidemic Ales is a chill brewery to check out! The fiancé got a Groupon deal for a flight of eight plus a cup to take home as a souvenir. The warehouse is spacious with plenty of seating inside and out. There are many games to play with including a pool table, Jenga, ladder toss, and corn hole. There is also a playroom for younger children. Beer wise, they had a fairly nice selection. However, most were IPA, which I am not a big fan of. Therefore, I didn't really drink much. Nonetheless, I still had a wonderful time and thought Epidemic Ales was a cool spot to hang out! The atmosphere is laid back. Parking wasn't an issue, and although we didn't get to interact much with the staff, they appeared to be nice.

Out in industrial North Concord. Cool warehouse. They have outside picnic tables for sipping at. Inside great hip vibe with walk up bar service...great mix of ales. Beer tenders are upbeat and friendly easy transactions. Ample space to chill. A couple of pinball machines. The space is comfortable. Haven't had as much luck with food trucks, but hear some of the regulars are great.

My two German Shepherds and I had a wonderful time at the brewery last Saturday. Great tasting beer and awesome staff. My doggs received lots of love, and the staff made sure they were hydrated by bringing lots of cool water!

I actually came here for a first date! It was Mid pandemic so we were grateful to have a place to actually drink and meet at that wasn't one of our homes. I'm in Pittsburg so I took the short 10-15 minute drive over the hill and found the place was super accessible and easy to get to. It's in a business industrial area so I liked not having to traverse through some of the more heavily trafficked areas in concord. The woman who greeted us was kind and welcoming and they had something on draft for EVERYONE. Sours, stouts, pilsners, ipa, you name it they had it so we ended up doing a flight so we could try what we wanted most. I always love having the flight option at beer places because I like to try everything and then revisit what I liked best with a pint or two! The beer was legit, location was a breeze to get to, people were nice...I will definitely be returning! Also, shout out to home girl working there who asked if I was on a first date and then took our picture later LOL. He ended up being a scrub and not working out but she took the most amazing picture of me and I thank her for that.

A great date night spot! Epidemic Ales is a hidden gem in the industrial business park area of Concord. I've been to Epidemic Ales a couple times pre-covid and once around December 2020. I always have a good time. The beers are good and I love that they have rotating food trucks. Inside they have pools and other games. The restrooms are clean. I love that I can bring my dog along too. It's a great place to chill with friends or get to know a date. Often times I was able to find a Groupon for a flight tasting and it comes with a glass to take home! During covid I sat in the car and drank beer and ate gyros from the food truck with my date while watching a movie. They still let us come in to use the restroom. It's been a while but I'm looking forward to coming back.

Great brewery in Concord! One might call this a hidden gem. In the business park area of Concord off the 4 Epidemic offers several varieties of beers and they are at reasonable prices. They've got some pinball machines and a projector that will usually have the game on. Bring your kids along for the play room. They've also got food trucks 5 days during the week to offer up a little more than bar bites.

I've been here so many times! I can't believe I haven't left a review. Puppies are welcome, yayyy! They get spoiled by people working here and give them water. If you didn't bring your own board games, they have some for you! Epidemics always have different food trucks and they never disappoint! Check out their Instagram to see who is in the line up. Beer is amazing! The STAFF Omggggg , they make it so easy to come back! They are so kind, helpful and talkative, it's starting to feel like a second home! Ah yes, Epidemic Ales, one of my favorite places to stop by if I'm itching to grab a brew. And for some reason, I tend to end up here on a cold and rainy day too lol. Let's get right to it. You'll find Epidemic Ales north of Highway 4, in the remote industrial part of Concord. Look for their small sign by the parking lot entrance. There's really no grandiose restaurant entrance, so just expect the common warehouse look on the outside. If they've got the garage doors open, you'll be able to see the huge vats. But in comparison to style, I'd say this place is similar to Shadow Puppet in Livermore. They mainly have a bar with their taps all lined up, and a few tables for dining. As far as their food policy, they're totally cool with you bringing food in. I mean, they usually have food trucks visiting or they hold BBQ events, so it's a privilege chilling and eating there. They've got a giant jenga, a pool table, and a few other games. As for the kids, you can bring them too. They'll just have to stay in the playroom. So, I'm not gonna list all the beers I've tried over the years, but here's a sample of what I tasted this past weekend: ~ Caffeine Machine with Nitro ($7), an imperial coffee porter that went down smooooooothly! You can definitely inhale the aromatic coffee smell too! ~ Nutty But Nice ($6), a peanut butter stout that was simply satisfying. Not as good as Belching Beaver's pb stout, but still enjoyable. I've gone here to meet up with friends, and I've even gone by myself just to try out their latest brew. I come here to forget about everything and unwind, even though there really isn't anything special inside. Next time I'm gonna bring home a couple of crowlers. Never been here? Well, I say give them a try, I feel the brew will speak for itself.

I had a good time drinking here with my friend. The bartenders were helpful and nice. I got my drunk and appreciated it.
