Equator, coffee is located in the middle of the complex with the Ivy Metro Station in Culver City between Venice Boulevard and Washington Boulevard. It's bright, large, and has a lot of choices. For me, the best part is they validate your parking.
The iced drinks have large, clear ice cubes. They should serve cocktails.
A lot of people get food here I just never have, I am more into Sweetgreens across the street or splurging for a nice $20 wood fired pizza at Roberta's or Etta.
Did you notice I have a not said word about the coffee? The workers are nice, store looks good, they even have free self serve water. My problem is I'm bored of ordinary coffee, vanilla, and mocha, and expected something great from the exotic latte descriptions, and was disappointed.
There's something about the texture, maybe it's the almond milk, but the non-distinct taste of the lattes are barely similar to the amazing flavors described in the menu. For example, the Socalo Spices latte. It's supposed to be some famous designer drink. I was looking for the all slice and orange zest flavor, but they are barely there. I expected something closer to the Eyes, Peeled coffee store on Robertson Boulevard, where they add fresh grated orange peel on top of the coffee providing an amazing orange flavor profile. This was just an unknown flavor.
The Habibi latte also was missing that Middle Eastern our Christmas time flavor I was expecting. There are "not a latte choices" in the Ivy Station and Platform areas, but maybe Blue Bottle is still the best choice.
