"Sustainability is the name of the game here. As well as drawing on fairtrade and organic produce, the chefs source ingredients locally wherever possible. The result is bold, flavour-rich dishes replete with interesting culinary combinations. Chef Julian Marti showcases his signature style in creations such as his wonderfully creamy risotto-style spelt with smoked eel, Swiss chard and dill – fantastic! The food takes the form of a four- to seven-course set menu – a vegan version is available by prior arrangement. In keeping with the modern cuisine, the dining space of this small restaurant on a corner plot has an appealingly minimalist design, for an urban, international feel. The remarkably friendly and relaxed atmosphere comes courtesy of charming and experienced maître d' and sommelier Sandra Brack. We had a wonderful dining experience for our anniversary at EquiTable in Zürich. Chef Julian Marti and the EquiTable Team curated a delicious 6-course locally sourced menu with many surprising textures and taste elements with it. We combined it with a non-alcoholic pairing and really enjoyed our meal, coming with a fresh baked (and still warm) bread. The service was also impeccable, very friendly and accommodating for dietary preferences. We will be back!

Top notch culinary journey that I got to experience on my birthday! Beautifully presented dishes that tasted just as exceptional. My favourite for the night probably being the braised carrot with wine foam - I had never thought a carrot could be so delicious! We also chose a drink pairing, one with alcohol, one without, and it was easily the best I’ve ever had in Zurich! The ambiance was very cozy and elegant, perfectly complementing the experience. At the end they gave me a little birthday lava cake. Will definitely return in the future!

I liked all the courses, and the pairings were exceptional, both the wine and non-alcoholic options perfectly complementing each dish. Too be clear, this review is based on two visits. I dined here some years ago and was truly impressed. The whole evening was a great experience, from the food to the service, ending with a superb wine pairing. Unfortunately, my more recent visit wasn’t as memorable. The team was very kind and professional, but some of the dishes let me down. The menu was heavily vegetable based (not necessarily a bad thing) but it felt repetitive at times. While the cucumber dish, main course, and clafoutis were outstanding, several other courses were quite unremarkable. The wine pairing also didn’t live up to expectations.

Such a savory experience! Each of them was flavorful and well presented. Also, the little entrances and treats were so nice we felt we had even more than the 6 courses we asked for! And to make the experience even better, the service was excellent, everyone was nice and helpful, clearly proud of their job. The chef even came to talk to us about the concept of the restaurant and ask about how everything went, which was the cherry on top! I recommend and will return for sure.

Absolutely amazing ! The chef masters the art of playing with textures and flavours. All dishes were thoroughly conceived and executed. An absolute exquisite pleasure. The service is so warm and welcoming it definitely made us appreciate the dishes even more. TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS ABSOLUTELY GEM ! 🤩🤩
