Erewhon Pacific Palisades

This is a smaller Erewhon Market location, which is to be expected for its location in Palisades Village. There is a parking garage and it’s one hour free parking, which is great if you’re looking to only stop at Erewhon. Although it’s a small location, they utilize the space well and offer a variety of of food, from plant based products to hot items. The hot items at all the Erewhon location are great; unfortunately we did find a small hair in our food this time, but other than that, the food was delicious. This location had a large variety of fresh breads, which are generally sold out at other locations. The employees are super friendly and it’s a perfect stop after a nearby hike. If you’re visiting, stop by before you head back home; their sandwiches are perfect for long trips.

The dishes are simple but the quality of ingredients take it to next level. The price is definitely in higher end (small box lunch is $27) but this fed two people and experience was great. Also, Hailey Bieber smoothie is worth the hype!

Boy o boy, when they say the prices are outlandish, fictional, over the top, that’s all true. To their benefit, the quality of produce seemed good and they were courteous enough to validate the parking fees. But paying 25$ for a bunch of normal flowers and same for a small box of strawberries did seem outlandish. Perhaps only good to be a celebrity store, when they won’t even care to glance at the prices, as we do.

Tried the Hailey Bieber shake and it was delicious! 🍓 The staff were all so friendly and nice. The shelves are nicely organised and overall a great experience!

My fave nutritional yeast popcorn and vegan chocolate mousse. Literally I get the latter at every visit. Wonderful specialty store with so many healthy and unique options. The floor staff are always helpful at this location . Hope they have a good reopening soon.

It is a price store but love the selection of items in this store. If you are around or live close by it’s worth paying the higher prices. I enjoyed looking around at products I have never seen on the east coast. I bought some herbs, baked yummy stuff and a cooked meal.

The most functional laid out Erewhon I've ever stepped in and will definitely step in again. Friendly everyone, including security and plenty of crew on the floor as well as at checkout. The baked goods were echoing strong especially those vegan cookies, as were the rich smoothies... But we kept it light with some beverages and Justin's Organic Dark Chocolate Almond Butter Cups since we had lunch an hour before. They have tables and chairs just outside the main entrance as well as inside across from produce. You can order meals, pastries and variety of beverages (full bar here also) and of course have a classic full grocery store experience. The member pricing is stellar and comes with some perks and discounts, though the membership itself is still $20 a month or $200 for the year (you save for the annual and it comes out to under $17 per month - still not the best but it's something). A lot of things were more reasonable than I remember for non-members, having stopped in at the Silver Lake and Studio City locations before. Free WiFi, clean Restrooms and more than a few parking options including garage at the Palisades Village, street (metered) and valet.

Erewhon had a great assortment of foods and largely the food was good. One dish I had, the orange chicken, however, was chewy and cold. I expected better, especially given the prices. I guess ya have to pay them Sunset Boulevard prices. And the staff, although plentiful, were flapping among themselves, thoroughly ignoring patrons. None seemed happy to be there. Again, I expected better.

The customer service here is pitiful. The employees except for a few seem to be resentful of the customers. They are rude, clueless and snippety. As a longtime member of Erewhon I don't understand why they hired most of this staff. So sad. If I'm paying $20 for a smoothie or $150 for one bag of food make sure the employees have some kindness and presence and respect. The ambiance should be amazing but by the time you put up with rude teenagers including Jazmin and crew - who wants ambiance.

The hot bar food and smoothies are out of this world, I can't recommend them enough! However I think just due to the nature of this grocery store, it's bleeding with pretentious people who are not so nice. Customer service was lacking. I asked an employee where I could find a specific product and they seemed annoyed that they had to show me, because I interrupted their conversation with another employee. Food is worth it though.

I didn't actually get groceries here because $$$$ but I did come to try THE viral Hailey Bieber smoothie. It was honestly quite tasty! $20 tasty? I wouldn't be repeatedly dropping $20 for a smoothie but worth the try, it was good!

Beautiful location. When you go in the parking garage there's signs for the store and the elevator takes you right into the store, so cool. Also you can validate your parking and the first hour is free. Got the Hailey Bieber smoothie, it's good to try it once cause it's like $19. I'm not a really smoothie person but it was refreshing. It's not too sweet or too tart.

I have to say it: the hailey bieber smoothie is delicious. Maybe not exactly $18 delicious, but I don't have regrets that I tried it once! It's a really unique flavor and the perfect consistency. Love the addition of coconut cream too. Just so good!! Am I really tempted to go back to spend even more money on the other smoothie flavors here? Yes. It's probably a blessing that I don't live in LA, otherwise I'd probably be spending way too much money on the smoothies here. Did I decide to also wander the aisles of this store pretending like I could afford any of the items on the shelves? Yes. Did I laugh for a really long time at the $25 jarred pasta sauce I found here? Also yes. The outdoor seating at this location is really nice -- it's good for people watching while you sip your smoothie LOL. The smoothie was ready so quickly and came out as beautiful and aesthetic as all the pics you see online.

I was at my parents' one night while they were hosting a young guest from out of town, and she walked in drinking an Erewhon smoothie, something she wanted to try while she was visiting L.A. I guess Erewhon is famous for these smoothies, which cost like $20 and are all over social media. I'm an old mom without a TikTok, so this was news to me, and it was the only time I thought about Erewhon until I went to the Palisades location last week. My toddler Wade B. and I went to the Palisades Village for a free music class followed by lunch with my friend and her baby. It seemed like a lot to sit down at a restaurant with two restless one-year-olds, so we took turns going to Erewhon to buy food for a picnic lunch on the Village lawn. Erewhon is a grocery store, and my distracted impression while walking through it with a 19-month-old in my arms was that it was attractive and spacious, probably a very nice place to shop. I found a refrigerated section of prepared foods and grabbed a thing of meatballs before asking an employee if they could heat things up on-site. She said they couldn't, but kindly directed me to the hot food line. It was a short line and it moved fast, and the people working there were pleasant. I decided on a plate of chicken teriyaki, which came with two sides, and I went for the white rice and chow mein noodles. I got that all boxed up and grabbed a spicy tuna onigiri from Erewhon's to-go sushi aisle in case my son wanted all the chicken to himself. I missed the proper check-out line because there was literally no one in it and still got scolded for going straight to a register. I carried my 26-pound-child and our lunch back to the designated area (again, there was not a soul in front of us) then checked out at a different available register. The cashier rang me up and I almost laughed out loud when I saw the prices. It was something like $20 for the chicken teriyaki and $5 for the onigiri, and a mysterious $5 charge on top. I would've looked more closely if I weren't frazzled and holding a hungry child, but maybe that $5 was a cover for the privilege of walking into an Erewhon. The food was good, at least, and I was glad I bought that onigiri, as Wade ate more than half of that chicken teriyaki. He also ate some of our friends' Erewhon lunch (they got the miso cod), which had more heavy vegetables and came out to an astounding $42. We enjoyed our lunch at the Village, but I'll probably bring my own food if we do this again. I'm generally happy to pay for convenience, but the pricing at Erewhon is pretty special.

Don't love this Erewhon location. For some reason the higher ups here just rub me the wrong way. They're snootier, and come across entitled. I'd rather make the drive to the Venice and Grove locations, than go to his one they is just a mile from my house.

The epitome of extravagance, the Pacific Palisades Erewhon is certainly not quiet about its luxuriousness. I had to come here to try the $18 smoothies and peruse the aisles of this laughably overpriced store (I mean Japanese sweet potatoes for 3.29/lb? Hmart sells 30 lb for $20). I will admit, the collagen swirl added great contrast and a nice touch of heterogeneity to an otherwise perfectly blended, one-note smoothie. And, this smoothie is admittedly one of the best I've ever had. I'm not sure if I can ever justify the price of something as simple as a smoothie. A pig with lipstick is still a pig and a smoothie with opulent ingredients is still a smoothie at its core. The store's sky high prices for basic produce and bulk foods feels almost dystopian and helps you gain a sense of appreciation for the privilege to not live in a food desert. Considering the fact that Erewhon is a place devoid of affordable prices or at the very least, decent prices, I'm not sure if id come again. Well...maybe for the Instagram-famous sushi sandwich, but I promise that'll (probably) be the last time.

If I had the means, I would do all of my grocery shopping here! Located in the palisades Village this is an easy stop if you are shopping here anyways. Parking can be tricky, but they have a few spots in the residential area as well as metered parking and valet. Service is wonderful, they have hot foods and a juice and smoothie bar as well as plenty of checkout stands available. It does get very full, but it is an extremely popular place to shop. They have products that no other grocery stores stock, worth, checking out, highly recommended!

I asked for my extra smoothie in the container mixer on separate cup as I had paid for it. The lady working there said no! You get what you asked for The one large cup. She was so rude

this place is overpriced We were going grocery shopping once we saw the prices we walked right up. Also, we asked for water five times didn't get it so we said you guys are getting a one star on yelp bye-bye!

Beautiful store. The staff was really nice. While you wait for your smoothie to be made you can shop for more delicious treats. Everything looks beautiful and desirable here.

Underwhelming and overpriced in every sense. Hubby and I made the 1 hour drive to Erewhon to see what the hype was all about. This location is at the Palisades Village so you can get one hour validation if you park in the parking structure. Upon entering, this market is tiny. It's like a fusion of Trader Joe's mixed with Mother's Market, but pricing is beyond that of Bristol Farms. The produce section is small and limited. The meats are ridiculously priced, but I will admit they are packaged well and look fresh. They do have a large selection of Erewhon spices and their fresh soups, juices, and salads. Most of those items are bottled up in their Erewhon jars. They also have a hot foods bar but we didn't pick up anything. We picked up their organic Erewhon roasted peanut butter for $7.75 a jar. Little did we know they added an extra $2 at checkout for the mason jar the organic PB sat in.. The peanut butter was good, but just mark it as $9.75 then if you're charging the extra $2!!! We also tried the Hailey Bieber smoothie for $18. It was a good smoothie but not worth $18. Her smoothie reminded us of a bubblegum/Pepto Bismol flavor the longer you drink it. It wasn't bad, it was just not mindblowing. So yeah..we spent $30 on items that couldn't really make either of our bellies full. Overall our experience was very average here as the store is extremely overhyped. Despite the overpriced items and hidden fees, I am genuinely impressed with how the store utilizes their small space. They do have a decent selection of items even if it's limited. However, we don't see ourselves coming back to this influencer magnet unless if we're in the area and wanted another $7.75 (+ $2 jar fee) of organic peanut butter.

Hot bar is fantastic, I do not have enough good things to say about it. This location is far superior to the Santa Monica location. The layout of this specific erewhon is one of my favorites.

I am sadly not loaded enough to shop here on the regular (or ever), but it's a beautiful market. If you are someone who laughs at Whole Foods prices, think twice before going to Erewhon. Funnies aside, Erewhon is a Certified B Corporation, which I actually think is very important. If the expensive prices reflect their practices that are more environmentally/agriculturally/socially responsible in the current economy, then they should absolutely carry on because these practices have to start somewhere until it becomes mainstream. There is a nice coffee spot inside near the registers with friendly staff. I get coffee and bakery items from here once in a while.

If someone spends premium prices for a muffin and coffee, the muffin should be fresh and the coffee is consistently bitter.

I always stop by when I'm near Erewhon to see if something new catches my eye. I'm not a regular shopper here but I enjoy their coffee bar and food court a lot. Great coffee drinks and pastries. Also the food is really good for lunch or any time of the day. This location is very nice.

This is the West Coast version of Whole Foods on steroids! We stopped by for a few sandwiches and fruits to bring over to the Malibu beach. It's a busy place with plenty of beautiful people to gaze at and their food is quite lovely. Well displayed and very good. The service was Friendly the selections of items was plentiful. Our friends opted to join the coffee club for $100 for the year which entitles you to as many coffees as you can consume. The location was great easy to find parking right on the main street.

I absolutely love shopping at Erewhon! Close to the beach with mountain view's, you get the best of both worlds! The food is always outstanding, the store is clean and fully stocked. I purchased a few things and during my visit and even had a few celebrity sightings. All the employees are all very polite and friendly. I might even say that this Erewhon could be my favorite location so far.

Outstanding pizza by the slice!!! I had pepperoni and it was out of this world. Probably the best slice of pizza I've had in a long, long time. I definitely wanna go back.! The shop was packed. I did not like their checkout stand and it was other chaos, but the pizza slice was worth it. !

I ONLY go to Erewhon for the smoothies, so it is safe to say I interact with Erewhon's smoothie baristas fairly frequently (if you can call them that, baristas???). I've had my ups and downs with them, some rude, some helpful, some just quiet(at their many locations, mind you). However, I have never met a barista as helpful and sweet as Reuben. I had come into Erewhon on a particularly tough, one of my pets had died. Reuben had likely seen the sadness in my eyes, so he asked me what was wrong. After explaining to him, he told me of his own experiences of losing animals and consoled me with nice words. Even though our interaction was hardly 5 minutes long, I felt very touched. My interaction with him (and the smoothie he made) lifted me up from the cold dungeon I had started my day in. If you read this, thank you!!! I wish had change to tip you! 5 Stars

Surprised the nearly $20 "Strawberry Glaze" smoothie was worth the price. I would recommend trying this place. Everything was fresh and organic from the produce to the hot food bar.

Parking is pia here but you get used to it. Better than the Grove! The annoying Halfday tea guys following you across the store and yelling to try their tea!!!!really killed my vibe. Still, I have to give 2 stars for the smoothies alone. What can I say, I'm a sucker for trends.

The actual audacity of this place. A wise man once said that time should not be wasted on insignificant things. This clearly something that the palisades erewhon doesn't understand. It took a solid 45 minutes for my friend to get their smoothie, just to find out these incompetent employees didn't even print out the receipt. $23 for a god damn smoothie that doesn't even come. Not only that but the employee said that their drink was coming and "on its way," when it was clearly not on its way because the receipt wasn't printed out. They didn't even check to see if there was a mistake until 15 minutes later. We ended up being late to a very important event, but even if I hadn't, this setback ruined my day. These employees are slower than molasses in August, and as unhygienic as pigs on slaughter day. No gloves, using their bare hands to scoop up chocolate chips and Sunday toppings. And they don't even wash their blenders! Do they seriously think that one rinse will get rid of peanut residue and other foods that might cause consumers severe allergies? And what about using the same tablespoons and measuring spoons for all the different kinds of powder flavorings. I know many people who have severe peanut allergies who would've dropped to the over-shined, chelsea-grey tiled floor, foaming at the mouth, salivating and violently seizing. It's a wonder that Erewhon hasn't had any lawsuits yet, but come to think it they would probably just cover them up with all the money they make from outrageously overpriced tree nuts. If I wanted a $2 fucking cashew I would go see the male strippers in Las Vegas. I bet theirs would taste better too. However, that's besides the point. I was just extremely disappointed in this grocery market and what it means for the future of this fine country. If overpriced goods and incompetent workers are our future, then just shove a rag doused in chloroform down my throat and hold my head underwater until I meet my maker. The only thing good that Erewhon did was opening my eyes to the train wreck that is capitalism. Sure it's all nice and good until you've spent $267 on lettuce and there's a pube in your smoothie. Thats not fair though, because if my great grandfather hadn't immigrated to this country and exploited the hell out of the coal mines and then I wouldn't be able to pay an arm and a leg for 12 ounces of fruit mush. Oh well, you know what they say, entice me to buy an extremely overpriced and frankly bad smoothie, shame on you, entice me to buy an extremely overpriced and frankly bad smoothie, shame on Capitalism. BUT GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS, GOD BLESS AMERICAAAA RAHHHHHHH!!!!! p.s. This happened in late may, 2024, I've been debating whether or not to post it until now, but I think it must be known to the public what this horrendous establishment actually is.

I'll keep this semi brief & not so sweet. Was in the Palisades this past Sunday and the weather was extremely hot, so we wanted a quick & easy, cold food, late lite lunch - opposed to hot food & table service, and agreed on sushi. Had great experiences with the sushi at the Venice location. And with the prices Erewhon charges, it better be good! Especially since they're supposed to have the highest of quality products & items. Well, let me just say, the sushi at this location had absolutely no flavor. The soy sauce was nasty & wrank and smelled like dog! The wasabi was totally off. All 4 pieces of the (hamachi) yellowtail sushi was so bad we couldn't even bite through it, and there were scales throughout. One of the 2 pieces of tuna sushi was layered with scales too. The 2 pieces of salmon sushi had no flavor whatsoever, but was the only thing in the mixed nigiri sushi tray that wasn't rough cuts. The cuts of fish were nicely sized but it was more to be disappointed about. The tuna/avocado/cucumber roll was absolutely tasteless, the avocado had zero flavor, and the seaweed was chewy. In addition, all the sushi rice was undercooked. Not cool. And hate when this happens! Wasn't until we started eating and realized it sucked...and I couldn't even bite through my first piece of yellowtail, and then had to spit out a scale. TMI? Well, it's true. Then I enlarged the picture I took of the sushi, and the scales in the yellowtail sushi were clearly noticeable (see pics included in review) Lastly, the cashier was so unfriendly. She didn't greet us nor say thank you or goodbye or have a nice day or whatever. We're very nice & friendly people and go out of our way to be kind customers. Never had such poor customer service like this at Erewhon stores before and it was obvious this person was bitter & not having a good day. But would it be asking too much to fake it? We were still nice but it felt as if we worked there and she was a grumpy customer. Between the awful sushi & customer service, it was one of our worst $32 quick lunch experiences in a loooog time. Good thing we didn't have to waste an additional 25-30% for tax & tip ;) Have had better grocery store sushi at Ralph's! Epic fail, Pacific Palisades Erewhon and it's a good thing we didn't get sick from this meal.

I just went to get a smoothie, waited 30 minutes, spent $22, and they had one worker making everything at a very slow speed making 1 drink took him about 8 minutes. When I asked if mine was forgotten the women I asked then told the worker to just get a premade, probably left out from a day before, Chocolate "The Girls" smoothie, I saw him grab it out of a lower back fridge and just handed it to me... was not fresh unlike it's usually made. And how he made a few others. Tasted like ROTTEN banana or something rotten 10/10 do NOT recommend going to Erewhon for the smoothie/coffee counter. Horrible.

This location was not as busy as the other Erewhons that I have been to. The food in the hot food section was not as hot or fresh because it was sitting out for a while. The service was great but given how pricey the food is, I wish that the food was a better quality. It also had a smaller selection than the Erewhon in Calabasas. I still enjoyed the mushroom pizza that I ordered, but I know that it would have been even greater if it was fresh out of the oven. Also, the utensils are at the cash register and there was nice seating indoor and outside. I appreciated that they validate parking in the structure. Also, they have free street parking after 8pm at the metered parking! The Erewhon is located in a cute little shopping area with nice boutiques and other restaurants so you can definitely walk around and go shopping when you are in the area.

Erewhon more like erewhat? I found out about this "physical embodiment of what people think LA is" on the one and only Tik Tok. After reading an article about its origins I had to go and see what it was about especially as a native angeleno. Listen, I'm not here to dock it for its price. I think you already know what to expect and I wasn't coming in here for groceries. I'm knocking a star off for its hospitality. Ya'll got a lot of color in the store but perhaps don't look at someone with some color sideways walking into your store. With that being said I came for the hype. Circling back, this place is colorful and bright and airy. It's what I'd imagine if Whole Foods married up. While some regular store products are ticked up in this particular store, most in-aisle products were similarly priced as I would see at a specialty store. Will I buy sliced cucumbers for $8 or a mason jar of raw almonds for $18, probably not, but if you like more ethical farming practices, this would be the place to buy from. Ordered: Zucchini loaf slice - $5. Of course I had to actually buy one of their pre-made products which they had plenty of. If I had a trust fund I feel like I would eat out of here because a lot of it looked pretty good. The loaf was average in its flavor however. Sparkling Water - $3 I wish I had the nodes to taste water but I don't. This was more carbonated than I imagined though. More than La Croix Parking: 5/5 There is a parking structure off of the street side which is free for two hours I believe.

I finally tried Erewhon after hearing so much hype about it, but I have to say, I don't quite understand what all the fuss is about. I tried the $18 Hailey Beiber strawberry glaze smoothie that's been blowing up on TikTok, and while the first few sips were good, the taste started to become weird and unappetizing after a while. On the other hand, I did enjoy the spicy tuna sushi that I ordered. It was tasty and had a good kick of spice to it. However, it wasn't quite good enough for me to justify the price, so I probably wouldn't order it again. I've heard good things about Erewhon's hot food bar, so maybe I'll give that a try the next time I'm in town. But for now, I'm just not seeing what all the hype is about.

The hot food area was very crowded at 7:30 pm! There were 6 people in front of me, but the line moves quickly... I ordered the fish combo dinner at $24/pound - baked salmon; Mac and cheese and Buffalo cauliflower- all delicious! The cauliflower was incredible- looks like it was fried but oh well I really enjoyed it. I guess my fish combo dinner was quite heavy ( heavy fried cauliflower!) the entree was $28... Food -4 stars Service -4 stars - there was a super long line to pay - I had to wait about 5 minutes for the next cashier- I must admit going to an Erewhon store is quite the grocery shopping experience- every item is displayed attractively, the deli food looks delicious, even the take away containers of pre-packaged food looks appetizing... very expensive but you need to splurge once in a while!

Hailey Bieber smoothie is the best smoothie I've ever had and I usually don't care for fruit smoothies (usually I get chocolatey/peanut butter ones) it's the perfect balance of literally everything amazing and delicious with out being too earthy or too sweet. OBSESSED is an understatement, I've literally gotten it everyday since I've tried it.

The only hot bar food I give my toddler. Salmon combo baby! Tacos are the best and I love love love the Pad Thai kelp noodle. I can never resist a side of buffalo cauliflower and citrus salad love me long time. Everyone is really nice and happy here unlike the people who work at the Venice location.

Many complain that Erewhon is the most expensive grocery store in LA (or perhaps the Universe) and, while I have not done the research myself, that may be true. With steep prices, however, comes exceptional quality and unusual items that simply cannot be found elsewhere. If you invest in your wellbeing and value the quality, purity and freshness of your food, sold closest to the spot it was grown, than this is a great place to shop. Very likely you will have a celebrity sighting there too! I live in the neighborhood and purchase my staples elsewhere, but head to Erewhon for hard-to find-items like whole turmeric, specialty mushrooms, gluten and dairy free items and CBD beverages. A great place to pick up delicious prepared foods from rotisserie chickens, to sushi to prepared soups. Also every nutritional supplement imaginable, like maca powder, the freshest flax seed, unsweetened cranberry juice, psyllium husks. When I was there recently, a Tuesday at lunchtime, a vendor was handling out samples of delicious dairy free "ice cream" in chocolate, vanilla and pistachio. The staff is well informed and courteous. If you ask to be directed to an item, a staff member will undoubtedly accompany you there to it, to make sure you find it successfully. The coffee bar provides exceptional coffees, teas, smoothies, juices and health elixirs of all kind. You have lots of options for your add-ins and the staff is well prepared with information about all ingredients of every item you might add. Parking is available in the underground garage and the elevator delivers you directly into the store. I believe Erewhon will validate your parking ticket, which I think provides free parking for an hour. Don't forget to validate (as I do) -- it will cost you at least an extra $2.

I ordered the Jing City, it's a $30 drink. I tip well for it too. I've gotten a few of them and they are usually p good. This one was completely gross, had some other ingredients floating in it and like does not at all resemble what I normally order. For the price they should have some quality control. Not acceptable. Ruined my day to throw away $36

I love this market! Everything is super organized and organic. The items are way more expensive than they would be at a regular grocery store. The food here was amazing! I got the teriyaki chicken with carrots and avocado/kale salad. The chicken was really good and not over seasoned with teriyaki which was great. The carrots were also really good. My favorite item was the avocado and kale salad which tasted super fresh. When choosing chicken as your protein, it's $19 a pound for all the food you get. My total came out to be $19 which was not bad for the portions. Overall the food was good and I look forward to trying more menu items!

This particular Erewhon location is one of the most attractive grocery stores you will find. I don't know how they do it--tons of work to keep so many fresh thing in stock. My hat is off to all the great employees here that keep this store going. And try the Erewhon breads--some of the best. It's not my regular shopping spot--just select items--because it's expensive, but if you are looking for quality and organics--check them out. Tell them David D. from Yelp sent you and they will give you 0% off your bill.

Super clean and organized grocery store in the awesome Palisades village. I came here over the weekend after a hike and it wasn't busy and everyone had their faces covered. The juice bar was cranking out smoothies and I ordered a delicious one that was made to perfection and consistently. I will be looking forward to coming back!

Was feeling sick and decided to order the erewhon carrot juice I most say best best of the best so worth it !!!!

Just like all the Erewhon stores these places are way overpriced. I wanted to try one of their soups and believe it or not it was sold by the pound at approximately $15 a pound. I've never heard of soup sold by the pound but this place does that :-) it looks like the quality of most of their items is definitely upscale and probably good but the prices are nothing less than ridiculous on some or most of the items. Put it this way, Whole Foods is a bargain compared to this place! I stand corrected I just received a comment by Tony A. from the market . I asked the person behind the counter is the soup actually sold by the pound which sounded strange but they said yes. The soup I ordered was approximately $15 for 16 ounces. I did get a small container of it and it had two of their scoops which amounted to approximately 4 tablespoons for about six dollars. Thank you Tony A for correcting me.

10/10 ...but don't worry about that price tag. Get the hot deli build ur meal box, fresh cut fruit, & a juice bar drink. The surf rider bowl... canapé lookin' sushi on crunchy rice cakes..

Limited hot food bar compared to other Erewhons, but it was still delicious! The location is lovely and parking is easy. You don't come to Erewhon without already knowing the price point. It's pricey. But the experience is everything. The market is impeccably clean and stocked and has some really unique foods that you can't find anywhere else. I think those are totally worth buying from Erewhon. However beware that pantry staples that you can find at other grocery stores are _grossly_ marked up. I would never buy staples like Rao's pasta sauce or oat milk here for a 40% markup. This location has a limited hot food bar, but it was still yummy! Also some AMAZING looking to-go sushi and cold entrees. Even the smoothie was amazing (even though it was $16 lol it had collagen, avocado, matcha, among other supplements in it). We tried the brown rice balls (amazing), turmeric chicken tenders, chipotle cauliflower, Kung pao oyster mushroom and they were all fantastic. I'll be back often if I marry rich lol. Just kidding. Maybe.

This may be my least favorite Erewhon. At least they have free 1 hour parking. I didn't really see any hot sandwiches available at the counter so I picked up a cold, readymade one. It looked like there was a little piece of hair in my Turkey Cranberry sandwich. Better make sure the person preparing food is wearing a hair net. Not a fan of the checkout area. It's too crowded with people walking in and hard to see and hear which cashier is open.

Love this place. If you shop here at least 5x a week become a member it's worth it I promise.

I've been resisting Erewhon since I first learned of them. But the draw of Italian prosciutto was too great this weekend. My husband couldn't resist the urge to indulge, so in we went! Basing my review SOLELY on the food since the service at checkout & when asking for help was lackluster at best. Damn, that premade food department. I am a Gelson's girl but their roasted veggies with all types of exotic seasonings caught my eye! They had tumeric cauliflower which is my latest obsession. This incredible, crusted broccoli, and omg those yams. Not even sugar laden yet still incredibly enjoyable! I even noticed they had a "Keto" pork stir fry. Generally being a low carber (with the exception of this trip, ahem), anything Keto grabs me but for some reason a veggie dish just hit the spot. $15 for my all vegetables in a to go dish and it was excellent. I got to select 3 items. Also it was filling! My husband devoured his prosciutto. We normally go to the French market at the Grove's, Farmers Market but figured we'd try in here. It's the real deal, Italian prosciutto and the cost reflects it. $20.99 per lb but it's cut to perfection and is my husbands favorite treat. We were impressed with Erewhon. And I'm reluctant to say it but this is coming from committed patrons of the Vintage Grocer!

Second time visiting this location. Came here instead of our regular Erewhon store because of the Sunday Farmer's market. When I got home I was devastated to see that something I purchased broke inside the bag. Immediately called the location close to home to see if there was something they could do. Sadly, I was referred back to this location in the Palisades where I originally purchased the item. I was lucky enough to speak with Roman Rodriguez. Explained the situation. He asked me to text him a photo of the broken jar. As soon as he received my text, he offered to credit my Erewhon membership account- that way I can re purchase a replacement for the broken item at my regular Erewhon store next time I go. Thank you Roman for making my life easy today and helping with kindness. You were so accommodating and kind on the phone. I appreciate you so much! So tempted to drive extra miles to go to this location now. Five star for Roman!
