Ermitage de Corton

This is a charming and beautifully maintained Hotel. It was tastefully restored by the owners with attention to detail. The accommodations are thoughtfully planned so that all our needs were met. And the owner and receptionist were especially helpful in guiding us in how to experience the best of Beaune for our two day visit!

What a wonderful stay! My partner and I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every moment. The building and grounds are beautiful,and the rooms are very clean and spacious. Highlight was dinner in the restaurant, faultless food and service! Staff were friendly and willing to help however they could. We had a slight issue with a taxi not arriving when previously booked. Even though it was very early in the morning, and noone was on reception yet, the lovely lady who serves breakfast was more than happy to help ring around and fixed the problem! Also highly recommend the wine tour in the cutest VW combi with fabulous guide Pierre . The tour was informative and entertaining and a great way to see ( and taste) local wine.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Ermitage de Corton. Immediately upon arrival, the staff was warm and welcoming. Although our room was not quite ready, they welcomed us to enjoy a drink in the garden - we ordered champagne and our girls ran around in the yard. The highlight for the girls were the goats from the start! Plus the soccer ball / goal and the nearby playground made this the perfect hidden getaway for us to return to between our explorations of the nearby domaines. We stayed in the family suit which was perfect for us and our 3 young girls. We enjoyed several meals here and the food and service was excellent we look forward to returning to Ermitage de Corton in the future.

Wonderful stay. Room, pool, staff and service fabulous. Menu de Climats was unbelievable, surpassed our expectations and would recommend going to eat even if not staying.

A huge thank you to all hotel staff for a super 3 night stay.|The room was beautiful with a super new bathroom .The food and service in the restaurant was excellent and staff went out of their way to accomadate my dietary requirements during my stay which was very appreciated and meant my husband and I could eat in the lovely restaurant at the hotel.Secure car parking excellent location excellent for grand cru route and breakfasts very good in the hotel bar/bistro.We had a great relaxing stay and nothing was too much trouble for the staff excellent customer care we will be back! Excellent restaurant, decent rooms, disappointing breakfast. The location offers a nice view but is on a fairly busy road.

We stayed at the hotel and everything was ok- plenty of space, the property is nice and well kept. Also the area is beautiful. Would be good to indicate on the website that for the duplex rooms the bathroom is on the groundfloor. For people that are not that agile during night toilet visits, the narrow stairs might be a challenge. Review of the restaurant: Easter lunch: - Food was very good - Service was a mess: we waited 25 min until somebody came to take our order (we had to remind them that we were still to place an order), we asked twice for our water, food came before the drinks, we had to ask for bread ourselves, the first dish came and we had no cuttlery on the table, the second dish came but was for the table near us, 2 tables away a waiter popped a champagne bottle that got everybody wet, the table near us got the check 3 times because it was always incorrect, etc. The service was very lengthy, people were searching for the waiter in the room to ask about their dishes... It's a pitty because the restaurant itself is very nice and the kitchen did a great job but the service was circus...and what was annoying is that the waiters themselves were embarrased and kind of realizing that everything was a mess but there was no chef de salle apologizing or at least aknowledging the mistakes. Too bad!

half way between Mougins and Amsterdam we found this nice comfortable clean hotel with nice rooms and an excellent restaurant||definitely worth the small detour...

Very good and fairly expensive restaurant. We began here in 1985 and it has always been superb. Elegant dining, excellent food, but not generally inventive and fantastic fairly priced to under priced great wines. The hotel has pleasant rooms, but great Marc Du Borgogne and Armagnac.
