"Ernie O’Malley’s, an Irish pub in Kips Bay named for a general in the Irish Republican Army. The bar features part of O’Malley’s coin and stamp collection in its “museum” at the back. You’ll also find displays connecting Ireland’s freedom struggle to New York’s history, as well as a space for gigs and events. A full pub menu features both french dip and chopped cheese—and of course, a spice bag." - will hartman, bryan kim

Awesome experience. I got the soup of the day (Mexican bean soup), steak frites, and many Guinness's. Everything was perfect. Atmosphere was incredible. The bartender was very nice and attentive. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant. Great night out with welcoming people. Had drinks and a really great Spice Bag-there was a trad music session too. I guess if I had any complaint it would be the seating was uncomfortable after a while, but that's only because I stayed way too long 😅. If I didn't live out on Long Island I'd come here more often. I believe they are also doing Irish language classes/get togethers.

Came in for Christmas. Stayed at a nearby hotel and went looking for lunch. Came upon this place and let me tell you, awesome! Jin treated us like family and ended up spending 3 hours there while we waited for our room at the hotel. Played darts, ate steak frites and felt like I was back home at my local pub in TN. I’ll be coming here all week while I’m in town! Can’t recommend enough!

This place is great! We came in on a snowstorm and it was so cozy. The fried pickles were fire and the staff is so friendly and attentive. Great spot, plenty of people but not too annoyingly crowded

I come here for a pint to watch Eagles games, but I stay because one of the bartenders, Jin, is super cool! Always engages in fascinating conversation and changes the tv channel to make sure the Eagles are playing and not

100000000/10 experience. Michael our bartender was the best person I have ever met. I’m from Chicago and this bar made me wish I lived next door. If you are near this bar is a must go to.

Lively Irish bar. We increased the average age significantly. Amazingly busy on a Thursday evening. Crowded with convivial twenty something's. A bit loud. Clean. The drinks were on point.
