You may definitely need a reservation . The food and paella 😋 was delicious. The food was incredible and the Sangria wine drink was very sweet and dangerous. Our taxi driver highly recommended it. No restrooms downstairs only upstairs. Good news --the restaurant next door offers a first floor restroom..

Everything about Es Canyís was top notch; the service (very friendly and accommodating) the atmosphere (mostly locals) and the food was spectacular. In fact, I cannot wait to go back and try other seafood items on the menu! If the rest of the dishes are as fresh and tasty as the few we tried, I cannot wait to return so I can order and enjoy some more. The tender calamar was grilled to perfection. The mussels were large and succulent but our favorite was the arroz negro. I am still thinking of the sweet marine taste of the squid ink and the seafood broth the arroz negro was simmered in. Trying to come up with a reason to head back to the Puerto de Sóller so I can book a table at Es Canyís.

A restaurant 70 years old, has lasted through the years. Very good restaurant, good size portions. We ate here twice, food so good, we really like the Vegetable Paella, so many different vegetables. The John Dory fish is also excellent with the confit potatoes. Great cocktail addition to the menu. We will return next year. Great service & great food.

If you’re in Port de Sóller, I highly recommend Es Canyís for dinner. While many of the restaurants in the area cater towards tourists, this is one of two restaurants that push out high quality and delicious food. This place is quite popular, especially during the summer months where they’ll have seating sprawled out on the sidewalks and across the street looking over the port, so a reservation is highly suggested if you want to dine during peak dinner hours. They offer a robust selection of wine by the bottle and glass and many seafood offerings. The calamari was crispy and light, and I enjoyed their fish and meat offerings. The service here is quite slow though, so I recommend ordering a bottle of wine and a few appetizers as main courses tend to take a bit of time to come out.

I don’t know how this restaurant is on the Michelin guide twice in a row. My husband and I split the fish and shellfish paella and it was uniquely terrible. The rice was undercooked and tasted wildly fishy whilst the lobster was wildly overcooked and rubbery as were the rest of the shellfish. It was so fishy and so rubbery it was almost unbelievable. A friend got the lamb and it was actually really lovely. Our other companion got the sea bass and the edges were cooked but the center was fully raw. We paid and left extremely disappointed and went for pizza.

This place was recommended by the place where we stayed. Ideally placed on Port Soller meaning tables right at the beach but still with the right intimacy. We had Paella and it was fine , not exceptional but solid. Meat was a bit overcooked. The owner has a superb sense of hospitality and decent value for money so overall still a 4 stars

Es Canyis, located directly by the sea, offers good food. The service is attentive and friendly. The port wine sauce with the beef fillet and foie gras was outstanding, and the beef fillet was perfectly cooked.

Started of nice, good table inside with glass bread to start with followed by sea food risotto which was a little disappointing. Muscles were good as were the prawns. The lobster was in edible because it was well over cooked as was the fish. Had cheesecake to finish which again was dry and disappointing. Could have been a one off bad meal as it’s always busy with repeat customers.

Yelp
yes, touristy but i really enjoyed the food. we started with the shrimp carpachio, it had tropical fruit and shrimp..nice, light starter, i had the almond chicken that had a delicious creamy sauce with potatoes and vegetables and he had the fish of the day that was really good. not inexpensive but not as much as some others on the boardwalk of the port. we payed around 60 with wine..the wine was good, the view was nice, and the food was served nice and hot!
