I loved the concept, the environment, and the vibes. But my espresso was much bitter and my pour coffee was over extracted, I suggested better skills for the baristas. But I really like the cafeteria style. I will go back to give it another chance.

Google
This coffee shop is a nice distance from the touristy parts of San Antonio.  With the counter open on 3 sides, a motorcycle against a wall, and engine for a table base, this shop has terrific character.  We f pound it to be vet chill. The people there were quiet, focused, but didn't look at all stressed. We really enjoyed our drinks.  The pumpkin spice latte was not only pretty, but spiced well and not too sweet.  The hibiscus tea was a gorgeous red and perfect unsweetened. Next time we are in town we'll be back!

I indulged in a delightful coffee experience at Estate Coffee in San Antonio, Texas, and it was nothing short of exceptional! The lavender latte with oat milk was a heavenly concoction, perfectly balancing the soothing aroma of lavender with the creamy texture of oat milk, all expertly blended with rich espresso. But it wasn't just the coffee that stole the show—the ambience at Estate Coffee was incredibly inviting. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by warm hues, cozy seating, and an atmosphere that invited relaxation and conversation. Whether you're looking to catch up with friends or enjoy a moment of solitude with a good book, Estate Coffee provides the perfect setting. The attention to detail and passion for quality evident in both the coffee and the ambience make Estate Coffee a must-visit destination for any coffee enthusiast in San Antonio. Five stars without a doubt!

Google
What a place! Coffee and snacks are fantastic. We ordered a Mocha, Maple Bourbon latte, and a croissant and they were fantastic. Come here on a Sunday and stay for the cars! Such an awesome vibe, great food, great coffee, great people.

Google
A little google search for a matcha latte brought me here. I was absolutely obsessed with the open layout and the amazing light that the windows bring in. They have so many little bites to choose from! Donuts, pastries, tacos. And they’re all delicious! Their donuts are from the pink flamingo co.which is a double win for me because I’ve always wanted to try them! I had a honey lavender matcha and it was definitely high ranked on my list for best matchas I’ve had. The staff are quick and friendly. They’re also super pet friendly! Can’t wait to come back!

Google
San Antonio has so many amazing coffee shops but this will always be my #1!! Every latte I've had here is perfect and the baristas are always so kind. Unbeatable vibe, great pastries (especially when they're from flourpress) and my favorite coffee in the city <3

Google
Haven't had a chance to try the actual drinks, but their roasts are superb! They're worth every penny (and there's plenty of information on who/where the beans are sourced from). I order grounds for a French press, and so far the coarseness has been just right ☕

Google
this is hands down one of the best shops in town! the atmosphere is amazing, the baristas are always so so kind & attentive. the lattes are also very consistently good! every time i go, i leave happier. (in the attached picture, we ordered an iced chai & a cold brew)

Yelp
This is a tie for my favorite place in San Antonio! They're always so friendly and their Kentucky smoke latte is great!! I would recommend almond Kentucky smoke latte with extra ice.

Yelp
This was a very cute and quiet coffee shop. My drink was very good. I got the iced latte with the "aged vanilla". The coffee bean Estate Coffee Company uses is very flavorful, and has a very smooth flavor. I appreciate coffee, and I appreciate how my drink was created. I am giving 4 stars because we ordered the potato egg and cheese taco which was very full of potato and had very little cheese and egg, so that was a bit disappointing. Nonetheless customer service was good, business was very clean and well kept. I loved the corner with the self serve plates, water, and cups!

Yelp
Located a half mile away from the Alamo with plenty of parking and space, sits Estate Coffee. It's a great reprieve from the chaos of cars, crowds, and noise we experienced earlier. The two folks that greeted us were lovely, welcoming, and warm. We bought a bag of beans and an iced vanilla latte with almond milk. The drink was almost too beautiful to drink, showing the distinct layers of their homemade syrup, almond milk, and shots of espresso. The drink was very nutty and delicious. They also sell iced teas with the hibiscus being at the top of the list. The lime espresso tonic looks interesting as do their other homemade syrups like the Kentucky smoke and honey lavender.

Yelp
I was kind of sad because this place was on my Togo list but once there the service was not the nicest:( The coffee was watery and the pastry was a little stale. The place was really quiet, maybe good for studying but overall the coffee & service was not the best sadly.

Yelp
It was great finding this coffee shop away from the touristy parts of San Antonio. It was chill, open, and relaxing. It has great character: counter open on 3 sides,  motorcycle against a wall, engine for a table base.  There are four tables in front of the store, nicely shaded. But it is a coffee shop, so... the pumpkin spice latte we had was not only pretty but spiced well and not too sweet.  The hibiscus tea was a gorgeous red and perfect unsweetened. Next time we are in San , we will be stopping back here again!

Yelp
This is a cute little coffee shop. I got a latte with Kentucky smoke syrup. It smelled very smoky but it also added a nice sweetness to it. The service was nice and quick. We took our orders to go but I'm sure it would be a nice place to hang out and do some work as well.

Yelp
Estate Coffee Co. was recommended to me while I was in town for a couple of days. A few blocks outside of downtown, with not much around but worth it making a trip out to. Modern, chic, and minimalist, this space is perfect for brunch, a coffee date or a quiet work day. The space welcomes you to just take a breath and enjoy the big basking windows/sunshine. I was immediately greeted when I arrived, and promptly served. I ordered an iced honey lavender oat milk latte and it was probably one of the best lattes I've ever had. I hope to come back someday soon! 10/10 would recommend.

Yelp
Personal fav in the city ! The ambiance is unmatched nice and open concept with plenty of natural light and plenty of seating , usually the perfect volume to work/study not awkwardly quiet or overall loud, friendly baristas, great coffee with a emphasis on their own roasts, great matcha and tea as well ! A must visit! They often feature small business pop-ups as well!

Yelp
We came for the market and wanted to show support of the business hosting it. This is not a spot for us, but you never know until you try. Based on the reviews they are well liked. I always encourage others to try new places. This is for a certain palate. Gave it 2 stars because the staff was nice and they were fully staffed and prepared for the market. Coffee was out quickly. Not many choices. Very basic menu with "specialty" flavors. No Caramel. Very plain spot. Has an Austin feel. Husband tried the Old Fashioned Coffee (looked pretty) and we left so he could throw up. It lingered in his mouth and continued to upset his stomach. He is still burping up bitter coffee. His stomach is not one that gets wrecked easily....that Army coffee he lived on is awful. Whatever was used to create the smoke/bourbon flavors made him sick. It was bitter and tasted off. This goes for my basic cold brew mocha. I took 1 sip and threw the coffee away. Bitter and the water tasted off as well. The building smelt like the coffee tasted. Water could be the is

Yelp
Great coffee, clean energy, everyone there was super nice and homie vibes! I would most certainly recommend this place if you are a local or from out of town.

Yelp
Best drip coffee in town no debate about it. People complain about the "lack of flavors" if you want your sugary milk this isn't the place for you. Drip coffee 10/10 lattes 10/10 came at me if you don't agree I'll be here Peace Out homies

Yelp
This place was decent enough, I would probably go back but just not for food. The girl who took my order forgot about the food, but admitted she forgot when she was reminded and went to grab it quickly. That part was fine, it was an honest mistake. But the food was incredibly subpar. The "potato, egg, and cheese taco," is a tortilla with a bunch of potato and like five pieces of shredded cheese. Very disappointing. Ate it anyway because I was hungry.

Yelp
My fiancé and I came here for a car show. Super nice baristas that had great recommendations. I got the honey lavender iced latte and he got a vanilla iced latte both were great! He drank all of his before I got a picture. Cute shop with drawings of car pictures and the clean feel.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this coffee shop since I saw they carry Ooyoopan bakery items. I walked here since I wasn't sure about parking here- there are a few off street spots out front. I got the taco and drip combo which comes w the coffee of the day and a breakfast taco of your choice. I picked the soyrizo and egg (all their "egg" is tofu scramble) and the highlight was the salsa that came on the side. I also got a delicious slice of zucchini bread from Ooyoo pan which is one of my favorites! The coffee of the day is pictured below and it was a bit sweet even just as a black coffee. I will try another one of their coffee flavors when they swap it out and see if I prefer those.

Yelp
I have been coming here pretty consistently for a couple weeks and the coffee has been pretty good. However, the service is never very friendly and most days it just seems like an inconvenience to be standing in front of them placing an order. The only exception is the male barista with the glasses, he is great. Today the service was not ok and was actually pretty rude. While ordering my coffee, the girl taking my order was more caught up with chatting and laughing while looking at photos on her friend's phone than finishing my transaction. Completely no regard that she still had a customer in front of her who hadn't yet paid. I sat down to wait for my coffee and a few minutes later the girl who took my order came over to let me know that they were out of cream and couldn't make my drink breve. Something that would've been good to know before placing my order since I paid extra to have it. Decided at that point to just have whole milk, and when I received it, it did not taste good. Very put off by the service here today. Disrespectful and distracted employees. Maybe know what you have and what you're out of before opening the shop and focus on the details of a drink so these experiences won't happen again? Won't be back.

Yelp
I love Coffee Roasters and as far as I know, this shop is the only roaster coffee shop in downtown San Antonio. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff members are all friendly. If this was not a short-stop drive to Austin, I wanted to stay longer here. And my Iced Latte was great!
google avatar

Ming L.

Yelp
Two things: 1. Drip coffee was surprisingly weak. Not light. Weak. 2. The very kind and welcoming barista made a silly mistake with my pastry. She asked me if I'd like it warm and I said yes. It was a cinnamon roll type pastry with icing on top. After warming it, she put it in a bag (instead of a plate) and handed it to me. The icing stuck to the bag. Still delicious, just no longer pretty.

Yelp
This coffee shop has THE BEST latte's! My favorite is the vanilla latte. They're latte's are smooth and creamy in texture and taste. I'm there several times a week just for the latte.
google avatar

Yelp
We decided to give the fall specials and try and we highly recommend the maple bourbon. It's nice and subtle!
google avatar

Donna Y.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop! Across the street there is some construction. The service is quick and friendly. I ordered the cappuccino with almond milk and almond croissant. Cappuccino was perfect and almond croissant was flavorful. If I'm back in the area I'll be back!!
google avatar

Nechelle S.

Yelp
Any coffee bar that has a drink called an "old fashioned " and a syrup called kentucky smoke is alright with me. "And that's all I have to say about that"- forrest gump.
google avatar

Charles G.

Yelp
It's a boring room with a simplistic coffee bar and some basic syrups for flavors. Concrete floor and uncomfortable chairs. This place could be a LOT more but it looks like someone is running it on the cheap. Typical anti-corporate stickers that are always ironic to see at a for-profit company.
google avatar

Yelp
I loved this place! I was looking for a spot to get some work done and found this place near my apartment. The staff is super friendly as you are greeted with a smile and a welcome from the moment you walk in. I wanted to try their espresso and then asked what they recommended. Like most coffee shops right now, they recommend their summer menu. I ordered their orange espresso tonic. I know what you're thinking... but it's a great refreshing combination! Very similar to having an Espresso Romano. I also had a potato taco with their salsa. Their tacos weren't bad, but I would definitely come back for their coffee. Their shot of espresso was extracted well and their orange espresso tonic hit the spot. I recommend this place!
google avatar

Gina C.

Yelp
Every time we travel, we love to find local coffee shops and the best pour over. Estate definitely delivered! Not only did the pour over and cortado hit the spot, they have vegan breakfast tacos and the cutest turtle pastries. The staff are super friendly, and the seating is nicely spread out with power outlets throughout.

Yelp
Its easy to miss to but don't miss out! I went on a saturday morning and it didn't get too packed at all. There are limited parking spaces which is a bummer but I think i saw some extra parking on the side of the building. not sure if its pay to park though... I tried their seasonal drink. I forget the name but it had Ginger in the title. don't let that scare you! the latte was sooo good! barista was so sweet explaining the drinks to me. I went to get some studying done and it only gets loud when a lot of people are there bc of the echo and the espresso machine constantly in use but other than that great wifi, a lot of seating and good coffee I will definitely be back! There's lots of windows so you get great lighting.
google avatar

Brittany G.

Yelp
I randomly stopped in here on a whim because I needed caffeine desperately and I was not disappointed! I absolutely love matcha and tend to prefer it over coffee and I ordered theirs with a pump of lavender and it was Devine!!!! My sister also got their iced chai latte and it was genuinely the best sip of chai I've had in town. If I lived closer I know I would be here every morning fueling up of caffeine. It was a cool yet cozy atmosphere, with lots of big windows/bright light, and they seem to host different food pop-ups and car shows. Really neat place with friendly staff :)
google avatar

Britt Z.

Yelp
Cute shop. Latte wasn't as strong as I'm used to in Austin. It also took them quit long to make my drink when there was only two other people there. I might be spoiled by how fast austin baristas are but seemed to take a long time. Cute decor. I also got one of their pumpkin donuts which looked really good in their display case, but it was really dry. Cool idea I'll but probably try somewhere else next time.

Yelp
Dropped in today for a latte with a friend. The service was fast and very friendly. The location is easily accessible but not a lot of parking. Plenty of seating. The latte was okay. A little bitter. They have in-house flavored syrups that change out with the season. I had rum praline today ... it was good.

Traveling C.

Yelp
Easy parking, and a decent cappuccino. I don't think I'd go out of my way to go back but if in the area I'd stop in if I needed a pick me up. A few things to note, all of their pastries are brought in (I'm assuming La Panaderia as they had the tequila almond croissant) but they've wrapped everything is plastic (aghast!). Otherwise I would have grabbed one up. But when you wrap them in plastic it changes their quality and also tells me you're trying to extend their shelf life and I'm not taking bets on how many days old they are. The other is they had a regular come in with his puppy, no issue there BUT he and the employees allowed him to jump up and put his front paws on the counter...and no one bothered to clean or sanitize the counter afterwards. So....not a fan of that.
google avatar

Wendy F.

Yelp
Quick coffee stop while I was downtown. There was plenty parking when I got there at 5pm on a Tuesday. Ordered a breve cappuccino with honey. It was perfectly made! I didn't catch the barista's name but he even offered me to try it and if I didn't like it, he'd make it again. I loved that he offered because there has been numerous times when the coffee just isn't right and paying $5+ for coffee these days is a lot. However, my cappuccino was great. Also got a strawberry danish and that was okay.

Katherine M.

Yelp
Excellent espresso and cold brew served by friendly, knowledgeable barista! Modern, minimalist space. Glad we found this stop on our drive home!
google avatar

Yelp
You ever have a morning all to yourself and wonder what's the first thing you are going to do (other than sleep in)? Well. Here I was. I decided to try Estate Coffee. One thing that I was appreciative of was the fact that there was parking right in front of the business. I was able to see my vehicle during my study, at all times. The service was great! Made a friendly conversation with the staff which was exciting. I ordered a Pumpkin Muffin, Vanilla Latte, and an Almond Pastry. The latte was very smooth yet rich and light. Very delicious. Definitely recommend this place for remote working and or studying - people were courteous of others so the atmosphere was quite peaceful.
google avatar

Nicole F.

Yelp
This shop is worthy beyond 5 stars. Had a cortado with whole milk. Espresso and its crema shined through perfectly. Lovely stone fruit and leather notes. Partner got the Kentucky Smoke latte with almond milk. Very balanced, with no overwhelming sweetness. The baristas are well-trained and really care about quality and service. Atmosphere is moto-cool and minimal. Dark wave tunes filled the space and upped the ambience of "not cool, destroy" 'tude. I dug it. So pleased that Estate was recommended to me by trusty espresso fanatics on Reddit!
google avatar

Harley M.

Yelp
Any coffee shop that has LACTOSE FREE milks INCLUDED as FREE substitution immediately is a five star cafe. Then the drink it's self (I got the Christmas cookie latte) was a well balanced and incredible coffee. 10/10. I wish I lived in San Antonio so I could come more often because I am in love with this shop. It was clean and well organized and the staff explained the flavors very well.
google avatar

Rich L.

Yelp
I came across this coffee shop on yelp whilst looking for a new coffee shop to try. I had the Kentucky Smoke Iced Latte & it was different but good. Also, I tried the Strawberry Jam Pop Tart & it was delicious. The baristas were very friendly & recommended I try the Kentucky Smoke & went over the menu. They also have Estate Coffee merch (shirts). I will definitely be back to try the honey lavender latte. Peace

Yelp
This is the most hipster place I've been to. I don't mean that in a bad way at all, I just don't really know how else to explain it. It's very cool. The people there were all nice, I ordered a vanilla latte I believe and it was yummy. I wish I knew where there glass cups were from because they were super cute. For some reason I really like when coffee shops use glass/ceramic cups. It gives it a different vibe that I appreciate. The pig in a blanket was subpar, but hey, I'm a fan of the Shipley's pig in a blanket that has cheese and jalapeños so what do I know. I was mostly there for coffee and if you're studying or working it's a nice spot. Did I mention they have stickers???!! Please don't laugh but that really made it stand out to me, if they had different ones that they sold occasionally/seasonally, I'd definitely be going back if I was a local.
google avatar

Liz L.

Yelp
Kentucky smoke is my favorite coffee in SA! I'm an avid espresso connoisseur (at least I tell myself that ). Highly recommend this spot! The Flavor is mellow, not overly sweet, and not over powered by different flavors. They also have pastries.

Yelp
I would like to brag on Celeste at Estate Coffee Company. Three tired band parents came in about 5:00. Celeste was working by herself but she was so kind and polite and never got frustrated that we ordered 16 coffee beverages to take back to more tired band parents and band directors while we were in town for the state marching band competition. We even had a lovely customer find us a box to transport our drinks. The coffee was delicious and everyone was grateful. I was so impressed I went back the next morning before leaving town. I'll make sure to visit again when we're back in San Antonio.

Yelp
Googled best coffee shops in San Antonio and this popped up as #1. Location isn't anything great and the ambiance inside feels not super cozy, I wouldn't want to stay a while, but dang is their coffee goooood! Not too sweet not too bitter. Very yummy and staff was nice.

Yelp
A much needed coffee spot for this area. Good coffee and perfect for a Sunday morning meetup. I hope this area expands and there are more places like this.

Yelp
I just want to start off by saying that the cortado with their Kentucky Smoke syrup is a drink that I'd hope would be included with my last meal on earth. It is truly an exceptional ode to what caffeinated bliss can be. I stopped by the shop yesterday along my 5 hour route to where I was going and boy was I glad that I did. The Kentucky Smoke syrup adds a beautiful naturally sweet tasting (like you would if adding honey or dates) touch to the quality espresso used in their drinks and I was thoroughly impressed. I've definitely come across artificially sweet tasting caffeinated beverages in my many years of trying new coffee shops and this was the antithesis of that... it was fruity yet sweet in a natural-organic-could-imagine-these-ingredients-being-grown-in-my-backyard sort of way and I *loved* it. I was also impressed by the pricing of their breakfast tacos; for just $2.50 each, I was able to get 2 generously-portioned vegan tacos; the one critique I had on this is that I wish there was a side of salsa as that would have taken the quality of the tacos over the top. Last, but not least, I ordered a matcha mojito off their summer drinks menu and it was quite refreshing; it's a bit tart, but surprisingly I enjoyed the unique combination of the matcha (which was very well mixed in) with the unsweet/ natural tasting lemonade. While the price was a bit steep on this drink ($6), I am always happy to pay a little more for innovative yet tasty drinks every now and then. All in all, I had a stellar experience... and did I mention that I came in 10 minutes before closing and the baristas were still kind and patient with me in my selection process. I noticed that all 3 baristas also worked together to make sure I was taken care of and prepare the different parts of my order and I can always get behind a coffee shop that embodies a culture of collaboration and kindness. If you're in the San Antonio area, *please* do yourself a favor and check out this place... their cafe and cafe culture is the little slice of happiness that we all could use in our lives right now.

Yelp
I always love trying new coffee shops and this one caught my attention. It has a minimalist feel. I've been here twice and ordered the same because it was THAT good. I got an iced Kentucky Smoke latte and I've never had anything like that. The syrup is unique in the best way possible and was recommended to me when I said I didn't want anything overly sweet. They have breakfast tacos to order and a few pastries to choose from as well. I've only gone mid morning on Sunday so parking was never an issue however I can see that being frustrating if you go at busy time. I haven't had the pleasure of sitting inside to get some work done or read but I can see how its relaxing. If you're in the area, come check it out. The good reviews are accurate.

Yelp
Wonderful, spacious, relaxing coffee shop! I walked here 3 times from a nearby hotel while visiting a conference to get some work done. Great place to get away from the convention center crowds and focus. Well worth the 15 minute walk! Staff are very friendly. Inside has a nice combo of modern /retro vibe with schoolhouse chairs. As many Yelpers note, the lavender latte is delicious.

Yelp
This is such a great spot to do work. I really love the ambience here - it's spacious and well-lit with natural lighting. Their coffee is pretty standard - they meet all the checkboxes but nothing too special. Though, I will say their Kentucky Smoke latte was unique (they explained it's their smoked brown sugar made-in-the-house syrup). But I am not a huge fan of the prices for their drinks. I do find myself wanting to return since it has such a great space for doing work. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere that's really chill and serves decent coffee!

Nick S.

Yelp
It's funny how the owner is quick to bash and discredit the customer instead of addressing the real issue. Someone obviously can't take criticism of their establishment. To say that there's no transaction or footage is hilarious. I can post my transactions but that's not the point nor am I the one that needs addressing. Address your staff not your customers.

S H.

Yelp
Cute little spot off the beaten path, just the way I like it. The coffee was divine but they didn't have that roast for purchase which was a shame. The pop tart oh my word. Strawberry lemonade was the flavor but I'm sure any would be amazing in that flaky crust. This flavor was so good I'm still dreaming about it.

Yelp
Yummy honey lavender latte paired well with the zucchini bread. Great vibe and cute decor.

Yelp
Describe Estate Coffee Company in one word: hipster. Not a bad thing though. Because they sure know how to make some espresso. Estate Coffee Company was another bookmark on my San Antonio coffee list that I needed to check off. I came here one afternoon after brunch and needed that caffeine fix. It's located in an older, quiet, industrial side of town on Houston Street. There are limited parking spots out front, but there is plenty on the west side of the building in an empty gravel lot. Once inside you're greeted by a large glass front, white walls, green plants, and a cement floor. Personally, a very cozy and modern vibe. The menu is on the wall in aesthetically pleasing black letters resting on mini-green floating shelves. They also had some of their specialty drinks featured on a little menu by the register. The coffee bar/counter/register is all open so you can see all the coffee-action going on as they prepare your drink and everyone else's. I ordered a hot honey lavender latte to dine-in and sat at one of their counter height tables - wood tables and metal stools/chairs... classic. When my drink was ready I got to smile at the latte art that was poured. After snapping the obligatory Yelp/Instagram photos I got to taste it. Personally, nothing like the tastes of honey and lavender, separate or together their notes blend beautifully. This latte in particular was the right temperature so that you could start drinking immediately, and the honey and lavender flavors weren't too sweet or overpowering. Folks came and went, others dined in and chatted with their group or worked silently on their laptops. Despite being "downtown" Estate Coffee Company offered a quiet place to sit and sip.

Yelp
Situated alongside the train tracks within the Houston St. area downtown is Estate Coffee which is a breath of fresh air within the coffee scene in San Antonio. Although Estate has been open for a while and I've been before, I was re-acquainted with this coffee shop and I'm glad I was able to. Now I'm not the best when it comes to explaining the coffee beans or anything like that. Heck- I'm probably ruining the flavor by making them iced lattes. I just can't drink hot coffee no matter the weather. I was told their signature iced latte is the Honey Lavender and I really enjoyed it! It was very refreshing and had a great taste perfect for the Summer heat. I opted for oat milk (a recent discovery due to my Summer trip in Detroit) which made me excited as not too many places in San Antonio have it yet. The meeting space is open and has tons of natural light. This spot is very photo-centric. If you're a frequent buyer here make sure to utilize their rewards program.
