Estelle’s Social Lounge Review - Downtown Austin - Austin - The Infatuation

"Estelle’s in the Warehouse District downtown describes itself as a “social club,” which is basically a fancy way of saying that it offers a bunch of different things in an upscale, loungy setting. Expect to find colorful cocktails, caviar, seafood towers, and bottle service on the menu, plus access to a boutique flower shop in case you’re afraid that the champagne and caviar won’t be enough to impress your date. The food here definitely leans “snacky”—use this as a launch pad before going out for the evening, or as a spot to wrap up the night on a fancy note. " - Nicolai McCrary

New Downtown Austin Bar Estelle’s Opens With Cocktails, a Flower Shop, and More - Eater Austin

"A new multi-part fancy lounge with bars, a restaurant, and a flower shop opened in downtown Austin this month. Estelle’s is found at 400 Colorado Street — formerly the sprawling space of seafood/steakhouse chain Truluck’s — as of May 19. The two-floor lounge includes two bars, a restaurant, a club area, and that flower shop, which is run by Austin floral studio Native Bloom. The cocktail menu takes its cues from the shop, with garden-ish drinks like match martinis, Grammy Smith gimlets, and the Breton Water made with a nori-infused gin. There are also wines and beers. For food, there are small bites like caviar paired with everything-seasoned English muffins and a whipped red onion creme fraiche, along with seafood towers, shrimp cocktails, and crispy-grilled pork belly. Desserts are provided by Austin sweet shop Cookie Rich, which means little yet decadent sandwich cookies. The space includes vintage furniture and midcentury modern art, a marbled bar, and glamorous dining booths. The first floor contains a bar, a lounge, and a floral shop; the second floor is the club with its own bar; a grand staircase connects the two floors. Behind Estelle’s is local restaurant company NoCo Hospitality, which oversees South Austin nightclub Superstition, downtown cocktail bar Higher Ground, and casual Central East Austin bar Skinny’s Off Track. Estelle’s hours are from 4 p.m. to midnight Tuesday through Wednesday, 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday through Friday, noon to 2 a.m. Saturday, and noon to midnight Sunday. The happy hour includes free canapes and the such from 5 to 6 p.m." - Nadia Chaudhury

What a knock-out restaurant! Right off the bat the service was excellent and very professional. The cook time for what we ordered was perfect. Felt like swarm service with just one server and she was knowledgeable about everything that came out of the kitchen. Our mini beef wellingtons, deviled eggs with caviar, and the PERFECTLY cooked burger were the most phenomenal parts of our dining experience. Would highly recommend for a nice family outing or romantic sneak away, because the building and atmosphere are stunning! Well done Chef Justin Turner & co.!

Google
Estelle’s was great! Walked over after work for a happy hour and had a few drinks and bites. The cocktails are very well done and smooth - exactly what you want out of a cocktail bar. Excited to see the drinks rotate. The food was also very good - the hush puppies were my favorite. Atmosphere was so cute and unique and the AC is ON so you won’t be sweating in the summer heat.

Fun cocktail atmosphere with quality bites. Drinks are on point. Burger was the best thing on the menu. Pork belly and beef wellington are also excellent.

Estelle's is one of the cozy and upscale restaurant in downtown Austin. We went there for lunch and the lady at front desk allotted a table. The ambience is great and the interiors are amazing. The vibrant colors and comfortable seating arrangements creates a lovely atmosphere. The lady waiteress was so attentive and helpful. We ordered Chicken & Sourdough Waffles and Avacado toasted everything Nan and Salted Caramel Espresso Martini. The food is colorful and decorative .. The Chicken & Sourdough is delicious but the Avacado toasted Nan is average. I expected little yummy but it’s okay.. They have limited selection of appetizers in the Menu and that too the prices are little bit expensive for the portion of the dish they serve. Overall It is one of the best place for dining with friends or to celebrate a special occasion or event.

Google
Lovely Sunday afternoon space for exciting vibes and conversations! The Chicken & Sourdough Waffles are the best ever! The atmosphere inside continues out doors with feelings of being in the center of it all, downtown life! Photo opportunities galore!

The restaurant is beautiful and the drinks were good. I ordered about 7 items from the menu with my friend so we could try most of the food. I loved the oysters but everything else I tried was just okay. The reason I’m giving 2 stars is because I overheard our waitress speaking with a manager about how she doubted we would tip that well. Which was rude. When we got our bill, gratuity was included. That’s fine. But I tipped her extra. Just so she could realize she shouldn’t judge a customer by what they look like or how young they are. Anyways, I won’t be back.

Estelle's is 1950s Hollywood meets Barbie in the BEST way. Every inch of this place is Instagrammable: the aesthetic interior, polished decor, and gorgeous window views on the upper level will make you want to snap photos of the whole experience. But it's not just the aesthetic that's impressive at Estelle's, the drinks were a highlight of our visit as well. We ordered three different cocktails, the Pastel, Matcha Martini, and Bitter Kiss, and each of them was as beautiful as it was delicious. I can't speak for the food here or the late night club vibes since we just stopped by for drinks, but I definitely see myself coming back here. I can also imagine this place as a go-to for bachelorette parties in Austin, birthday celebrations, and more, especially since they seem to be able to accomodate large groups. I'm so glad this place opened up where Truluck's used to be, it feels like a gem that complements the other fun and colorful establishments on 4th Street!

Went right at opening, 12:00 on a Sunday with 3 other girls. It wasn’t super busy besides a 10+ person birthday party but our server immediately told us they were short staffed. Took my girl 15 min to get a spicy margarita (she did love it though). The rest of us didn’t order drinks , was hoping they had some tea on the menu but no such variety. As far as food we got the everything Naan (only complaint was that it was cold), truffle fries (w/ Gruyère dip, so delish), chicken and waffles were perfect (breaded chicken, butter, pineapple sauce), Lobster Mac & cheese (was disappointed we got the tiniest lobster claw. The tables by us got huge claws). I was also shocked they said they ran out of spinach and tomatoe quiche since they just opened. The decor was really well done and their playlist was on fire. Would love to come back when they have a DJ. Overall super fun place to hang out with friends!

Yelp
I came in to try Estelle's $1 oyster happy hour by myself and had a great time. The space is a total vibe and the oysters were good east coast oysters topped with some garnish and a good vinegar on the side. These are the best $1 oysters I've found in Austin. I also had a matcha martini which was light and tasty though I felt it tasted more like melon-y than matcha. The other happy hour offerings looked like great deals too and I'll have to come back to try them. It was a bit confusing upon entry since I was told bar seating is open since I didn't make a reservation but I didn't know if I could choose to get a table or sit upstairs. However the bar area is really nice and one waitress was really friendly to me and made nice conversation which I appreciated being alone.

Yelp
If you're looking for a proper made cocktail, this is where it's at! Was in town and heard from locals, my lyft drivers, and from social, that this place was a must do. Tried their famous Matcha Martini and it was lovely. I looooove Matcha. I felt that this was very balanced, refined, and not overly powering in terms of sweetness. It was a nice switch up from an Espresso Martini. It's ordered so much, it has to be batched. I had came in earlier that day and the batch wasn't ready so went back at night. During my initial visit, I met two of the bartenders and they were extremely friendly and were such a wonderful welcome after shortly arriving in. Had the best Amaretto Sour and if I'd go back, that's what I'd order again. Would love to try their food options and check out their upstairs! Music was vibey and club-y. Would be a fun spot to add to your night to kick it off or just bar hop if you want more of a refined experience with drinks. Only iffy thing was our group all ordered matcha martinis but for some of us, we got the coup class, and for the others - they were served what looked half way in the glass I had for the whiskey sour. The dishwasher was running and they ran out of glasses. Gave us the same volume but definitely was not the presentation some were looking for. It definitely is their known for drink here! Dress attire can be dressy casual or you can dress up entirely - love that there is fluidity here.

Yelp
Estelle's is every instagrammers/tiktokers/content creator's dream. I love the interior decor here, and drinks aren't too shabby either. I highly recommend coming during their happy hour, which is offered all day on Wednesdays, and from 4-6 pm on Thursdays and Fridays-- drinks are half off! I'm a matcha girlie, and am obsessed with their Matcha Martini. I have yet to have an opportunity to try their food, as their dining menu is more reserved for small bites. SERVICE: From the hostess to the bartenders, the staff is pretentious and not very friendly. A simple, "hi, how are you", "how can I help" or even a smile would work wonders...

Yelp
What we got : Matcha martini Truffle fries-yum!! Comes with queso Shrimp cocktail-tastes so fresh! Shrimp is juicy Deviled eggs and caviar Petite beef Wellington-looove the puff pastry Chicken tenders - this is the biggest-sized dish they have! It's really good. Comes with 3 sauces. Pork belly It's beautiful here!! There are doors leading to a room for private events. There are also stairs leading down to a members-only lounge. The servers are friendly and one was able to guide me to the private room to take a look. They also helped charge my phone because it was dying. Tables are upstairs and you need reservations but downstairs has open seating at the lounges and bar. The food is delicious but they are small bites. Interior design is beautiful! Thanks to Offline, the app, I was able to check this place out

Yelp
I've come here a few times, but a first for HH. On Wednesday's they have HH from 5 PM - 7 PM. $1 oysters on the patio and first floor. Live Jazz and $5 martini's. We went with a dirty gin martini and an espresso martini. The espresso martini was so delicious. The oysters were prepared a little different than I'm used to, but absolutely loved them. So fresh and flavorful. Service is always exceptional here and as soon as you enter the florals and decor are stunning.

Yelp
I cannot sing enough praises about this place. Let's start with the ambiance, it's absolutely beautiful. The decor, theme, and bar everything was so mesmerizing! For food we got lobster Mac & cheese, chicken & waffles, and avocado naan. The avocado naan was mediocre and I do not recommend but we absolutely loved the other two dishes. Lobster Mac & cheese was comforting and creamy. Chicken and waffles were a perfect balance with the butter, maple syrup and spicy mustard. The wait time was a lot for how many people were there. It took us about 45-60 mins to get the food. Otherwise the place was great!

Yelp
First let me say, great happy hour and Thursday ladies night reverse happy hour. Drinks were outstanding and so was the food but they start BLASTING music like a night club at 9pm. It's not even a reasonable volume - like who would want it so loud you can't hear yourself think, let alone converse with friends. We did ask them to turn it down and they told us they couldn't because someone had bought bottle service. I highly doubt the people with bottle service didn't want to be able to talk to each other. eventually they turned it down a little bit, but we ended up just leaving because it was obnoxious. This is Austin not LA

Yelp
Absolutely love this space for a speakeasy. The upstairs offers ample, swanky seating with a good majority of it being table service. We arrived around 10:00 on a Friday and because they were not too busy, Louis allowed us to sit at a table while Melody served us delicious cocktails a la, the rosemary sloe and Estelle's old fashioned. We enjoyed ourselves in the space until about an hour later when they started to get packed and someone bought our area. We then moved downstairs where the service at the bar was not the best, but the music was great and we had a great group of friends, which enabled us to tune out the rudeness of the bartender. I will definitely come back!

Yelp
This is such a cute place for happy hour or to meet with your friends before the night out, a concert or just a great pregame place. Their menu is limited and it's more finger sharing food than whole entrees to make you full but their drinks are so tasty! The service is great and the ambiance is basically why I came here and why a lot of people do too. The floral stairs photos are a must when you come here!

Yelp
I love this bar! There's not a ton of bars in Austin where you can actually sit at the bar and chill with the bartenders. I've done that here and it's such a cool environment to hang out in. All the drinks I've had here have been great, but the service is next level. Christian at the bar is one of the best bartenders I've met in Austin. The guy is fast, friendly, and comes up with amazing cocktails. I need to become more of a regular here!

Yelp
Estelle's was good, it had a very nice HH and the matcha martini was very nice and enjoyable to drink. The apricot sour was a little more on the bitter side and not as nicely balanced. The fries with the truffle cheese sauce was great but the other food options seemed to falter. The petite beef wellington had good flavor but only a tiny amount of meat in each one, the shishito peppers were abundant but not seasoned too much (also did not enjoy the aioli it was paired with). The people working were nice but seemed very frazzled and took a long time checking on us or bringing food out. They also lost orders and visited our table a few times with various dishes other tables ordered. I would return probably just for the martini and fries on happy hour but not too often. The restaurant was decorated beautifully though.

Yelp
Such a nice trendy cocktail bar ! I saw this on instagram and made a point of visiting while in Austin. Just wanted to grab a drink and a light bite. Their bar area is as soon as you enter . Really nice decor and very classy feel. Great service in the bar and nice seating all around it and couches for groups around the bar too. There is a an actual restaurant part too for full dining. You can order dinner at the bar too. Great cocktail list and small plates. Pretty extensive. Dinner also looked great ! I went with a Negroni . Of course the truffle fries got me. This was the perfect afternoon pick me up I needed! Savage the bartender was a cool chick with great bar vibes ! This place attracts all sorts and there was a mixed bag of people at the bar. Only thing that takes away from it was when I walked upto it the homeless sleeping literally outside on the bench. Makes a girl a little nervous. The drink and food was excellent though. My Negroni was perfect and just a classic . Fries were yummy and also perfectly presented and tasted very much truffley. Nice classy place for drinks or dinner. Lived upto my instragrn expectations!

Yelp
Very instagramable place with cute couches, decor, staircase, and art. The cocktails were good, however they didn't have a few key ingredients to make a couple of classic cocktails we requested. My mom and I decided to leave early because of a loud crowd of 20 somethings. Overall i would recommend if you're looking for somewhere beautiful to have a drink

Yelp
When my friend Colleen suggested Estelle's for drinks on a recent Friday evening, I trusted her judgement and she did not steer us wrong! We met a little after 4 (yes, we started Happy Hour early), and we may have been the first ones in at that time. Others quickly followed suit, however! We were seated upstairs, so as the hostess guided me to our table, I took in the ambiance, decor, and overall feel of the place. It is definitely trendy, fancy and fun with all kinds of backgrounds for those who want to take colorful photos. Miranda, our server, was super friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. She served as our photographer when we wanted a photo together too. We ended up ordering a Carabuena Margarita (Colleen) and a Pastel with extra lemon juice (me)... Colleen also tried their hushpuppies. I passed as was heading to an early dinner. The drinks were delicious. I'm sure you cannot go wrong with any of their specialty cocktails. This was the perfect place to meet for happy hour and I'm sure it works just as well for latenight meet-ups as well. Yes, it's pricey, but so is everything these days! If you've gotten this far, I suggest that you go and enjoy... and take some photos too!

Yelp
We had some credit we had to use by a certain date and decided to check out this spot on the list. Pleasantly surprised how friendly and warm the hostess was and helped us out even without a reservation. The spot we got had a direct blast of cold air and the server offered to reduce the air blast. She was attentive but not overly persistent, accommodating, and friendly. Her name was Nina or Tina - highly recommend. The ambiance is very LA chic and sometimes, you want that reason to step out and enjoy something else. The cocktails were hit or miss - the martini and sloe gin were good but the pastel was too sweet. We came for happy hour so $10 cocktails seemed like a good price. I would certainly hesitate to pay thec$16 regular price. The food was a bit bland but the sauces were the savior. All in all, a good experience, which could be great with some fine tuning.

Yelp
Estelle's is truly for the aesthetic girlies!! It is absolutely stunning inside. There are so many areas that are quite literally the perfect IG background. It's a great spot for a girls night out! The service is also excellent, and attentive. The cons are that some of the tables are extremely low. Not making it ideal for those who are planning on ordering food. It works for cocktails, but not great when eating. I wish when seating people, they were more minded up of that. Majority of the seating is plus size friendly, so that's always a bonus! The drinks were relishes! 10/10, but the food was okay. I don't know if I would go back for the food, but I definitely would go back for the drinks and aesthetics! The food lacked flavor for me, and was more on the dry side of things. Could be better...especially being in Texas! Haha

Yelp
Best GUAC and chips ever! It had fried chips and fresh creamy guac. It was so addicting. Seating was trendy and great for casual groups for drinks and apps. Service was very slow, even for a Wednesday we had a table for 20 so they knew in advance but I think in 2 hours I saw our waitress 4 times. We had to go to the bar to get drinks. Weekends I bet is better.

Yelp
Estelle's has a beautiful ambiance. It's ornate staircase and chandeliers as well as the vivacious atmosphere made it feel as if I was at a Great Gatsby party. If I was local, I'd probably enjoy dressing up and going to Estelle's for evenings out on the town. I came here in the late evening solely to enjoy a cocktail, so I didn't taste any of their food. I ordered two dirty martinis which was perfect since they were on the stronger side. I found that the bartenders were a little aloof, but I'm sure it's just because they're busy.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a beautiful space. Very well decorated and cute spot, great for a night out or brunch. I have been a few times, their drinks are beautifully presented. Taste wise, on the sweeter side, fairly standard and didn't blow me away. I also came for brunch and got the chicken and waffles. Wow. The chicken was very crispy without being overly oily or heavy. I loved all the sauces/dips it came with (butter, syrup, and some sort of honey mustard-esque sauce). The waffles weren't the thick big waffles I was expecting but I actually prefer and loved these! They were thin, almost like a crunchy pancake. I just wish they had a more expansive menu as I initially wasn't too excited leading up to brunch and we almost went elsewhere. Glad we came and tried this tho! They don't consistently do this, but I LOVED the candy/gum/lollipops/toiletries in the bathroom. It was a nice little fun surprise to have.

Yelp
Estelle's is an incredibly beautiful sight worth seeing. It's the perfect combination of cute and elegant, with pink and gold and flowers throughout! Drinks: The cocktail menu is concise, with six drinks to choose from (there's also beer and wine). All cocktails are $18. Estelle's also serves small bites and a few entrees. I ordered the Baysipper. It was tasty and refreshing. It comes with tequila, but I honestly couldn't taste any alcohol. I really enjoyed it and ordered two. Service: The service was definitely a huge pain point. My waitress left A LOT to be desired. She was borderline rude and seemed like she'd rather serve anyone else. It definitely damped what would have otherwise been an incredible experience.

Yelp
This is such a vibey restaurant everything is aesthetically pleasing, making it the perfect spot for a fun evening with friends or for a special date night. Our large group was able to easily make a reservation online. Many of the small menu items are perfect for shareables. The food and service were impeccable. Highly recommend the fries and pork belly. They offer so many delicious dips for their food items. I will definitely be back again!

Yelp
Disclaimer: this is a review regarding coming here for a meal. Came here with a few friends and were seated in one of the lounging areas. We had intended on eating dinner here butt it was clear that the lounging areas weren't designed for that. A couple of us had to sit on stools and there were two small circular tables for plates and drinks. If we were only ordering drinks, it would've been perfectly fine, but we were hungry. We shared a few apps, including the seafood tower, and each got entrees as well. Seafood tower - large shrimp, but seemed a little overcooked, oysters were decent (I prefer them not pre-dressed, however), lobster didn't really fall separate from the shell, overpriced disappointment Lobster mac and cheese - Quite delicious, very rich and heavy in the cheese though Truffle fries - Solid truffle fries overall Salmon couscous - Salmon was well-cooked, but they did not leave the skin on (which takes away from a lot of the flavor and crispy texture). The squash had a grainy texture, and I didn't end up finishing all of it. Drinks - I was still on the mend from food poisoning so I only had one drink. I quite enjoyed it and it was at a good price point for a upscale cocktail. I would come here for drinks and appetizers. The ambience is sort of upscale, but the food (seafood in particular) doesn't show it. I would come here for some drinks and apps, but definitely not for a meal (or get their more simple offerings - like a burger or tenders).

Yelp
We absolutely love this spot! We came here for happy hour one day on a whim and although it was crazy crowded, we were able to snag a spot at the bar. Service from the door to the bar were so friendly and welcoming! Super conversational, and had great recommendations off the menu. Our apartment building also hosted their holiday party here which was incredible - they reserved the entire second floor and gave everyone drink tickets along with delicious hors d'oeuvres all night. It was such an amazing event and everyone had an absolute blast! Everything was so yummy and the service was top notch. During our time at happy hour, we tried: - Rosemary Sloe - Matcha Martini - Rhubarb and Soda - Old Fashioned - Truffle Fries - Shishito Peppers - Chicken Tenders (comes with pineapple honey mustard :O) Such a great atmosphere inside, super aesthetic and great place to lounge for drinks or eat great food with friends.

Yelp
The food here was great, it was hot and fresh. The service was quick, and the waiter made sure to always check on us. The ambiance of the place is very chic, with flowers and paintings everywhere (as well as a great view!)

Yelp
The host Ashley was amazing! The ultimate hype woman that ensured we had the best spot to sit and enjoy drinks, as well as making sure we had the cutest photos on the stair case. Louis was great and really helped us as tourist visiting. He checked up on us and made us feel so welcome!! The vibe of this place is phenomenal. Restaurant upstairs that we didn't go to (we sat the bar). Downstairs had great music and ambiance. We really enjoyed this hidden gem and their burgers are great, which was a bonus for us!! 10/10 recommend

Yelp
Estelle's is the newest and most luxurious cocktail bar and social lounge in downtown. It is located in the former space of Trulucks and boasts a sophisticated atmosphere with vibrant pops of color throughout. My friends and I recently visited during happy hour and were not disappointed. I ordered the bright and refreshing Pastel cocktail, while my friends opted for the Granny Smith giblet. Estelle's also offers discounted wine and appetizers during happy hour, and I personally fell in love with their corn hush puppies. The only inconvenience was that our happy hour seating area did not have a server, so we had to go up to the bar to order and close our tab. As the evening progressed, this tended to create a backlog. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to explore the upstairs area, which apparently transforms into a club later in the evening. I would definitely consider returning to Estelle's for brunch, although I highly recommend making a reservation in advance

Yelp
The best thing about Estelle's is the atmosphere which is great for brunch, an afternoon drink , or ladies night out.  The building is bright and open with giant windows on two sides of the building spanning both floors on one side.  There is a huge staircase in the middle decorated with flowers. The main lighting fixtures are gorgeous and bright although above the booths upstairs the lights are subtler and change colors from red to green to blue.  Downstairs the bar takes up much of the space with some smaller tables nearby but upstairs there are large seating areas with comfy chairs and couches and giant circular booths.  In a bit of a strange contrast to the openness and bright lights of the main areas the lights over the large tables upstairs are a bit dimmer and slowly change colors.  This goes with the atmosphere later in the evening when they lower the lights and raise the volume of the music in a bit of a stark contrast to the daytime and evening vibe. The signature cocktails they offer were pricey but on par with other places in the area and everything we tried was good. Our favorite was the Pastel followed in order by the Rosemary Sloe, Baysipper, and Matcha Martini.   For food we had the Blistered Shishito Peppers, Za'atar Flatbread Crisps, and Chicken Tenders. All were good but I was annoyed about a discrepancy about our order of chicken tenders. The website suggests you order per tender and they weren't even listed on our paper menu. We were initially pleased when we found out we could still order them and asked for two. What we ended up with though was two full plates of them for a total of 6 costing $32 total instead of $10. The tenders were huge so we only ended eating half of them but ended up spending far more than expected and wasting a whole order. After spending more than we intended we ended up staying awhile during which time they switched from their daytime to nighttime vibe. I guess service upstairs ended at that point because no one ever came by again except to take our water carafe away and noone was servicing the tables near us. Had they been we likely would have ordered another drink as it was we ended up going elsewhere for drinks.

Yelp
Estelle's is so cute and classy! I only stopped by for a drink but really want to try the food as it looked delicious. Service is great and lively atmosphere. Will come back to visit again for sure! Drinks were all delicious-I tried the rhubarb cocktail.

Yelp
Such a cute place! There are a ton of good photo opportunities as well. Came here for dinner: We ordered truffle fries, chicken fingers, I ordered the burger which was really bomb!! Our waitress was really attentive asking us if we needed more drinks etc. good spot for meeting up with groups!

Yelp
So I came back today to check out happy hour! It's from 4-6 PM (they don't open until 4). Something I really appreciated is that I showed up at 3:30PM thinking they opened at 3, but they still let me come in and sit in the air conditioning. I tried the bitter kiss cocktail which was LOVELY and only ever so slightly bitter at the end (mostly it was sweet), but it's a little expensive. They have a cocktail menu for $16 each during happy hour with a few different cocktails, plus a beer and wine menu. Believe it or not I actually came to try to study a bit and it's actually a great environment for me to be productive; the music is upbeat and poppy but I don't find it that distracting and right when they open the place isn't crazy popping or anything so there are lots of little tables and loveseats around you can use. I just studied at the bar with my drink, I stayed for about an hour. I had a nice time! Be aware there is also a 20% service charge on all purchases, and you can leave a tip on top of that. My one happy hour drink ended up costing $22 but for the ambiance, I wasn't upset about that price at all. I would def rec a visit, but wouldn't come regularly (just from the cost).

Yelp
Cute spot for some drinks! I've been in a few times and I've always been treated nicely by the bartenders and the drinks are always made with a lot of care and precision. Their wine offerings are not bad either.

Yelp
Had a girls night out for my birthday and Estelle's was a great time. Normally they have a DJ and it can become a bit of a "scene" on the weekends so we went early to have more of a chill experience. The bartenders were very friendly and made good cocktails. Service isn't very speedy so be prepared to wait a bit based on what you order. Group seating downstairs is hard to come by but the bar is surrounded by elegant stools on all sides so you should be able to post up there with a smaller group or date if you get there early enough. I do wish their cocktail menu was more extensive (and creative). They only had one bourbon-based cocktail and it was as straight-forward of an old fashioned as they come. Very much enjoyed it, but would have liked to see them experiment a little more. Most of the cocktails were on the sweeter side, so I preferred the Estelle's Old Fashioned to the other things I tried. Granted this was from the summer cocktail menu so I'm sure the options will evolve over time as they introduce new seasonal menus. We split a few appetizers and enjoyed every bite. The truffle fries, hushpuppies, and pork belly were presented well and plated in a way that made it easy for sharing. I'd recommend all! I don't have any true complaints about the experience. It was a gorgeous venue with good food and drinks, but if I'm paying $16 per cocktail I'd rather go someplace with a more impressive cocktail menu.

Yelp
20% mandatory tip? No thanks! Drinks decent though. Weird bachelorette vibe. Very expensive.

Yelp
3.5 stars. The tables are quite small so they're not really for eating much food. Food: Seafood tower - the oysters, shrimp cocktail, and lobster tails were good although the oysters could've used some horseradish/cocktail sauce Truffle fries - good Burger - decent but meat was a bit dry Shishito peppers - decent

Yelp
Had an amazing experience for a birthday dinner and was so impressed to find arrive at this hidden gem. The openness of the area just kept it lively as you were able to totally relax in this upscale lobby restaurant. The wait was short especially if you have a reservation. They specials were shared to us by the waiter and we dived into getting a hodge podge of items to eat. My personal favorite was the chicken that was so juicy and tender that I nearly licked the plate. With it being a birthday in the group, we were treated to their three desserts! Highly recommend coming here for any form of celebration to gain an experience of a life time. Valet is covered so feel free to leave your vehicle safely with them.

Yelp
We randomly came to Estelle's on a Saturday night out. The vibes were VIBING. Drinks were pretty pricey though and very sweet. The crowd was a little older but the top floor had music and a dj. There was space to dance and we had a blast.

Yelp
Came here to catch up with a friend after she mentioned she wanted to try their matcha martinis. When we looked online there were no reservations but took a chance (with a back up plan). Luckily the downstairs is first come first serve with their bar area and regal-esque nooks. It wasn't busy but also it was a Wednesday evening. You'll need to order at the bar first and they'll bring it out to you if you sit in the nooks. And afterwards folks will come by and check in on you and offer to take on more drink orders. The host stand folks and bartenders were friendly. We got the matcha martinis which didn't have a strong matcha flavor but it was refreshing and light. I personally loved it. We shared the truffle fries and shrimp. The fries with the aioli were absolutely divine. However the shrimp, though big and plump fell short bc it needed a sauce. After we were done we realized it was supposed to come with a tomato marmalade. Oops. But hey, protein is protein I loved the atmosphere but I feel with a reservation upstairs it would be better.

Yelp
I'm disappointed...I went on the opening night, and it was a sh** show to say the least. Maybe the need more time to get the staff and everything together but I wouldn't call a successful grand opening. I had a reservation, the hostess was confused finding it, once she found it, she had to go inside and double check there was a table available. Once we were seated, we had 2 workers come up to us saying this table was VIP bottle service only, and we told them we were just seated here by the hostess. They double checked and left us there. It took at least 15-20 minutes for anyone to ask us if we wanted a drink. It was faster just to go up to the bar and order. The guy taking our drink order made us feel rushed because he again noted we were seated at a bottle service table even though we didn't choose where we sat. The whole experience made me feel uncomfortable and rushed and I couldn't enjoy my time there, after we all finished our first drink we immediately left. (Drinks were fine) It's just a pretty lounge and is all about having a cute insta story photo and if you have status. (The inside is gorgeous tho - they did a great job with the decor.) There's plenty of other spots in Austin just as cute with better service and don't make you feel rushed especially when you have a reservation. Hoping management takes control of a messy first week and gets this place on track to do well. Pros: beautiful interior Cons: service

Yelp
Can I just start off that as soon as you walk in and that you are mesmerized with how beautiful it is in there. The interior designer did a phenomenal job on this place. I went on a Saturday night and we got a booth next to the DJ. It was so much fun. Everyone in there was so nice. Our server was so much fun loved him. The food, we got a couple of a small plates, and just shared with each other which is good. They have some fun cocktails and your typical ones too. It is pricey here but you are paying for the location and vibe of this place. I can definitely see this being the new it spot for Austin.

Yelp
We were at Estelles's last night for NYE party! The place is super chic and I love the decor & the vibe. If you're looking for a lounge, to hang out , meet new people, this is the place to be in Austin. It's a 2story experience, they have two bars, one upstairs and one downstairs. Do not forget to take your photos the stairs! Anyway, back to NYE, everything was great, the crowd was amazing and then comes the bill, our tab was basically tripled - with things we did not order. When we called it out to the bartender, instead of working with us, she was really rude and said argued that we need to pay the full check. When we said we won't sign it and will dispute the transaction, she called the supervisor and the bouncer - who were ultimately able to get our checks fixed but how rude!! It almost ruined a perfectly good night, hence the 4 stars.

Yelp
The food was really great, we got the oysters (which my hubby loved), the pork belly, which had a nice and crispy outside, and the truffle fries. The ambiance was lovely and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. The one thing that was very off-putting was the sewage smell that permeated the whole restaurant. It lingered while we were trying to eat our food, and I couldn't even imagine sitting at the bar, as the smell was even stronger downstairs. It really did sour our experience.

Yelp
Fantastic girls' night out at Estelle's, and I must say, the eclectic vibe of the place was amazing! I couldn't resist ordering the Pastel drink, and it was absolutely delightful. To accompany our drinks, my girlfriend and I decided to indulge in the Parmesan fries and the Puffed Salt & Vinegar Chips with Avocado & Charred Shishito dip. Let me tell you, they were beyond incredible, to die for! The combination of flavors was amazing. We managed to snag some chairs at the bar, but if you prefer a table, make sure to reserve in advance. The music playing in the background added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. Although it took a little while to place our order, once we finally got the opportunity, we were pleased with the choices we made. There was one thing that didn't sit well with me, though. They put a pre-authorized charge on my card, resulting in being charged twice - once for the drinks and then again for all the items we ordered. However, the bartender assured me that the pre-authorized charge should drop off my account, and if it doesn't, I can call them for a refund. Overall, my experience at Estelle's was fantastic. The ambiance, delectable food, and enjoyable music made it a memorable girls' night out. I would highly recommend this place, just keep an eye on your payment to avoid any inconvenience.

Yelp
Had been waiting over a month for my reservation day to arrive and was really looking forward to visiting. We were a party of 8 and got sat at the bottle service area. Starting off with the ambiance.. this place is absolutely gorgeous. It reminded me of these beautiful cocktail bars and pubs in London. The DJ is great too and adds to the fun yet sophisticated vibe of the place. Our server was great and super friendly. What really left us disappointed were the drinks. I had the Pastel, Baysipper and an espresso martini. The pastel was really tasty but I was expecting a lot more given the hype around this place and also given the price of the cocktails. Cocktails were tasty but again very simple and not to the degree of complexity or uniqueness I was expecting. Also a couple of us ordered espresso martinis and they were all different, there didn't seem to be much consistency. Every drink looked and tasted different Given this is marketed as a cocktail bar I highly recommend expanding the cocktail list and improving consistency.

Yelp
Cutest cocktail lounge for the girls! The aesthetic is gorgeous and the drinks were delicious. Oysters were refreshing and the chips were so unique and delicious and I was surprised how much I enjoyed the dip. A must try for a cute girls night but I recommend checking their availability before going. We were able to walk in but the upstairs was booked for an event. It's a pricer place but worth it for a drink and appetizer

Yelp
Wow, this place and the details! Estelle's took over the spot where Trulucks was, and it's very refreshing, clean and vibey. It's a two-floor social lounge, with a bar vibe downstairs and a more lounge vibe upstairs. The upstairs area has open windows with stellar views. Think instagrammable spots but in every corner with this place. (The florals on the staircase especially!) The drinks were really good. I ordered a couple of mocktails the bartender was super nice to make, and they were also refreshing. Didn't even need the alcohol! The price range for drinks is on par with other classy bars in the area.

Yelp
Huge shoutout to Cassidy--you were the best server ever, and your energy is so bubbly and positive. Estelle's is a beautiful 2-story cocktail bar that just opened in downtown Austin, and the location is perfect! It sits on the corner of a street, so if you sit upstairs at any of the high-top tables, you'll get to see a really nice panoramic view of downtown Austin. It has this classic-NY vibe to it, so I'm shocked that such a gorgeous cocktail bar exists only 15 minutes away from me. Their attention to detail in interior decoration and little touches also blew me away--their coasters say "Downstairs at Estelle's" and "Upstairs at Estelle's" depending on where you sit (downstairs or upstairs, obviously). The furniture, decorations, wall hangings, and even playlist are impeccable. My friend and I came without a reservation on a Wednesday night, and there were some open high-tops that don't require a reservation. However, it got packed the later in the night we stayed. My friend and I ordered the Granny Smith cocktail and the rose cocktail (I can't remember what it's called) as well as the pork belly and fries. I am a huge sauce person, so I asked for every sauce they had and they were happy to accommodate. I thought our cocktails were nice, but I will say that their drinks are not super complex or well-balanced. My apple cocktail was very, very sweet. The rose one was sweet as well. That's about all I can tell you because like I said, the drinks aren't super well executed or balanced. I don't necessarily mind because I'm not an expert in mixology and frankly can enjoy a space for its vibe. The food was super good. I loved the small pork belly bites, but they were quite expensive for the portion size. The fries were phenomenal--perfectly fried and crispy. I actually recommend asking for the yuzu aioli that comes with another small bite because that was my favorite sauce out of the many that I asked for. Tldr; if you're a fan of drinks and want some well-crafted ones, I would say Estelle's is not your cocktail bar to go to. However, for vibes and pictures and a good time, definitely come check it out. My friend was raving about their playlist the entire time.

Yelp
If you like a girly pretty place to have happy hour and catch up with your girlfriends, then this is the place. cocktails are $10 during happy hour. i enjoyed the rhubarb cocktail and my friend's drink with egg white was good too. Food came out crispy and delicious. They provide alot of shishito peppers and the truffle fries are great paired with the cheese dipping sauce. I liked the hush puppies (6 bites for $12). You have to sit at the bar on the first floor to get free passed canapes but there were servers that came by anyways and we got to try lobster salad on a slice of cucumber and one other bite that were both delicious. Surprised it wasn't busier. Love the decor on the top floor (nice and bright) and it's darker on the bottom floor.
