"A casual French affair near Komagata Bridge over the Sumida River. Keen to develop a rapport with the surrounding old neighbourhoods, Chef Shinji Kawamura installed a counter so that he could converse with his guests. Focus is on à la carte dishes that can be ordered without fuss. The Uni Pain Perdu is sea urchin with French toast. Bouillabaisse is paired with chorizo. The fusion of french and Japanese cuisine made for an unforgettable dining experience. We opted for the 10 course and loved every dish. We were warmly welcomed as foreign tourists, and loved sitting alongside locals enjoying the same experience. Highly reccomend for anyone looking for a fine dining experience in Japan!

Delicious French food with a Japanese touch. They recently received a Guide Michelin recommendation. The service is very nice and attentive. They even accommodated our special wishes for the course menu. The wine menu offers a good selection of European wines. Definitely recommend it!

I was very curious about this small French restaurant since few gourmet friends visit. The main steak was bit over heating from my preference though fish was great! Perfect for beautiful weekend lunch. I would love to try dinner, too though.

We had a sublime meal here on our last evening in Tokyo. Run by a husband and wife team, both welcoming and professional, the tasting menu was characterised by each dish not only looking like artwork on a plate but each mouthful being delicious, wonderfully balanced and moreish with locally sourced ingredients and brilliant attention to detail. Good wine list too, very reasonably priced. Certainly Michelin star standard and very intimate - we were a table of 4 and there are 6 seats at the counter. A truly special way to end a truly special trip.

Simply brilliant! A stunning blend of Japanese and french cuisine, crafted in a highly creative yet non arrogant way, by a truly gifted couple. The wine selection is also on point (the Gigondas is clearly a safe bet). This was a wonderful moment and treat for my birthday and I recommend this gem wholeheartedly!

会社から近く、気になっており、わたしの誕生日祝いにとパートナーが連れてってくれました。 席数が少ないので、予約は必須です。 わたしたちはアラカルトでいただきました。 必ず食べるべき前菜の「ウニのパンベルデュ」をオーダー。パンの部分はフレンチトーストから甘さを取り除いた感じで、ウニと青菜ととても合い、絶品でした。シャンパンや白ワインに合います。 メインの牛フィレも最高でした。とても柔らかく、ソースがなくても美味。付け合わせの野菜たちも最高でした。
