We booked a table 24 hours in advance, came 30 minutes in advance and we were kindly seated at our table. Varied menu, friendly service, large wine list (not even a card, but a book). We ordered a steak with medium roasting, we guessed it with roasting, unfortunately they don’t make flat white coffee, it’s strange, of course, they make ordinary coffee, even without latte art, although I thought it would be good coffee. Interesting presentation of desserts. I would have come again.

I’m afraid we were disappointed mostly. Steak ordered medium was mostly Medium rare. Croquettes were good. Crystal bread was very good. Side salad was too heavy and not refined. And the solomillo was medium well towards well done although we ordered medium.

Absolutely gorgeous restaurant, delicious food, attentive staff. They have a great and big selection of wines and cocktails too. They give you a mini appetizer on the house, the lava cake is very good. Do not miss this restaurant when visiting Santa Cruz 😍

Service and food was top notch! We ordered the atlantic stone bass which was absolutely delicious - specially the sauce was to die for. Desserts - chocolate tulakalum, needless to say was amazing. So overall - we’d come here a thousand times if possible.

We started the evening with a great bottle of Canarian white wine! For start, we ordered a serving of bread and butter (I had to take a picture - this small serving of butter was additionally 3€). The bread seemed to be rebaked in individual slices, resulting in a dry crust. The salted butter was missing some salt in my opinion. Unfortunately, the bread and butter arrived after the starters - I hoped it would arrive much more earlier. The amuse-gueule was a melon with decoration - quite fun to eat and on the sour-sweet side. For starters, we had the onion soup, the carpaccio as well as the empanadilla. The empanadilla was great, the sriracha mayonnaise fitted quite well. The meat filling was very flavorful and rich. The onion soup was great! Nothing else than what you expect. The carpaccio was also good - however the truffle cream was used very generously. As I am not a fan of truffle (and it was not mentioned on the menu) this was not the best case for me. The main course was the Bacalao, which was of course very deeply (and nicely) seasoned and was served with a very delicious sauce. I nice side dish would have been a great addition. The steak was ordered medium and medium well (we shared the order). What we received was far in the rare section. Luckily, the meat was very great quality and had phenomenal taste, so we enjoyed it anyways. However, we consulted the waitress afterwards to check with her that the doneness of the steak was too far off from what we ordered and that next time they might want to pay attention to what the guest ordered. Her answer was that „unfortunately, everyone in Spain eats the steak rare, so we serve it that way“. This answer was not what I expected, as we were specifically asked how we want the steak cooked… To finish off, we had the chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream and raspberry crisp. The lava cake was phenomenal. The ice cream was obviously store-bought, but good quality. All in all, the quality of food is great. The flavour was sometimes not what I imagined and personally didn’t hit my taste 100%. However, I would still recommend to try the restaurant as they deliver a high level of food on a reasonable price level.

Great food in a fun environment. The Cowboy steak special was very well cooked and a high quality piece of meat. The ceviche and jamon croquettes were nods to a refined cooking style and a great understanding of flavour combinations. Banana aioli is a bit of bonkers brilliance. If you are a wine person, the wine list is more akin to a novella. Dessert, the oddly named “Worst Coffee in the World”was a fun, tasty dish that speaks to both the fun of the restaurant and the skill of its chefs. Our waitress Nina was very helpful, funny and enhanced the experience with attentive service, recommendations and levity. The chefs came out to ask us how dinner was and also seemed very friendly. The only very minor knocks are these and they’re very much personal preference so it’d be unfair to let it affect the score. 1. Christmas songs playing on the speakers felt like an injustice to some fantastic food. 2. The cocktails we had were great and spoke for themselves. The Negroni, while feeling like it was 87.5% alcohol was very good, as was the espresso martini. They don’t need superfluous and gimmicky dry ice smoke shows to accompany them. Overall excellent, a unique and enjoyable experience as part of our trip to Santa Cruz
